The only downside to this place is that you have to walk a few blocks after checking in to get to your actual apartment. Otherwise, the place is great. Perfect location with many restaurants and shops nearby, the beach a short walk away, and the metro a short 15 minute walk.

L’hôtel est vraiment bien situé sur une rue où il y a de bons restaurants diversifiés, de cafés et épicerie. L’entrée du métro est à proximité. Le personnel de l’hôtel est vraiment sympathique, courtois et accommodant. L’appartement était très propre, bien équipé et bien insonorisé. Le stationnement intérieur est fantastique. I would not recommend this place due to how unsafe and inconvenient it is. Reception is a 10 minute walk away from the building, and the entrance is difficult to enter, with keys not fully working with the locks. We were stuck outside the building at night, and no one was able to assist us. Furthermore, the staff was unhelpful when there was an intruder in the building. We tried contacting them for security but we were snubbed and told us security won’t come until 3 hours later. This led us to call the emergency line since we were told that we were on our own unprofessionally. Definitely do not book this place if safety is your priority.

This is a very nice apartment in a beautiful area of the city.
We did have some issues accessing the door of the building and with the electronic lock of the apartment. The lock to the apartment eventually got resolved.

Great Location but Lacking Comfort and Convenience

We recently stayed at this property in Barcelona and had a mixed experience. Upon check-in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They provided us with a map and clear directions to our flat, which was just a few blocks away. Unfortunately, we encountered some issues with the electronic key, which did not initially grant us access to the unit. After calling for assistance, the problem was resolved promptly.

Once inside, we faced another hiccup connection. The provided instructions didn’t work, but again, the staff quickly addressed the issue and provided updated information. One major disappointment was the sleeping arrangements. We had expected a queen and king bed, but instead found a queen and two twin beds. While the staff offered to push the twin beds together, this didn’t seem like a reasonable solution, so we just made do.

The accommodations themselves were average but benefited from an excellent location near restaurants, shops, and the beach. However, being situated above a busy street made it difficult to get restful sleep before 1 or 2 AM due to the noise. The flat also had a very small hot water tank, which limited us to one short hot shower per person. Additionally, the thermostat wasn’t adjustable, which was disappointing.

Overall, while the price seemed fair for the area, the lack of modern conveniences like soundproofing, sufficient hot water, temperature control, and and accurate bedding options left us feeling the experience was just average.

The power went out in the middle of the night for an hour or so. This was very uncomfortable with no air movement. The water heaters are not on demand so with more than one shower the second person gets a cold shower. The apartment felt old. The stickers on the walls everywhere made it feel cheap. I would not stay again as there were too many negative things to justify the price.

Worst check-in and check-out process ever!

The place was okay, it needs a deep cleaning, too much dust. The property management that runs it asks to check in at their office before a certain time or they will charge a fee, and it’s at a different location to the property. So after taxi dropped us off to the office had to walk 2 blocks on stone pavement with 6 luggage and to checkout same process and this time it was raining.

Modern 2 bedroom apartment. Had everything we needed. Great area. Overpriced, but it seems all of Barcelona prices are high. If you’re looking for value then visit the smaller beach towns along the coast. Barcelona and Madrid prices are out of control. This apartment was very clean and in a great neighborhood. Lugaris staff are very helpful. Not walking distance to downtown and tourist attractions but taxis are easy and fairly priced.

What a brilliant stay at this apartment. Natalya was really helpful from the start. Make sure you book the transfer from the airport. We were ripped off by the airport taxi!
The apartment was so clean, spacious and safe. There is a little noise but it all adds to the atmosphere. Plenty of food places to eat and only a 5 minute walk to the beach.

The apartment is advertised as luxury but it is not, more like comfortable. We were allocated an apartment off the Rambla which was next to a building site, with some noise and dust/debris on the terrace. We were offered a change but since we had unpacked everything declined as the apartment was comfortable.
The coffee machine did not work but was replaced after contact with the office. Two of the remotes were without batteries, this was raised but instead of replacing them the two boxes and remotes were removed. We had no access to international stations.
The general location is excellent and generally we had a good week but a shame there were a few unnecessary niggles.

Beware of Construction Work for Terrace Rooms

There was construction directly next door 8am-6pm on 3 of the 5 days we stayed. There was permanent drilling and sawing noises during that time which woke us up and we couldnt hear ourselves talk on the terrace. There was dust and polystyrene falling onto us on the terrace. We had not been warned about this construction when we booked or checked in. We complained at reception next day and the man said the lady that checked us in would get back to us. She did NOT get back to us.
Do not book a property here with a terrace if you are staying here outside of the weekend! The noise will ruin your stay.

Clean and comfortable place

We rented a 2-bedroom suite. Location is at about a 45-minute walk from the touristy areas of Barcelona and about 10 minutes from the beach. I recommend renting a bike as it's cheap and Barcelona is a very bike-friendly city. We loved the restaurants and shops on the pedestrian street just outside our suite.

Sad experience but happy ending thanks2HOTELS.COM

I leave countless reviews and I am sorry to leave a negative one but we were not satisfied from the reservation and we came to the hotel's office first thing in the morning to come to some understanding regarding partial refund so we can go else where. The hotel said they will try to accommodate our request but when the hotels.com representative called, the hotel said they can't do anything to reimburse us although they understand our frustration (they offered a different apartment, we wanted to go else where).
Faults were, low maintenance of the shower with moldy areas, torn up cabinets (low maintenance), cracked shower head (water splashing everywhere), window isolation very bad - we had hard time sleeping while youngsters were yelling outside and dogs barking - proper isolation would have fixed it.
Proximity to the sea is nice but there should be a proper standard to those apartments especially for 155$ a night.
Who saved the day ? HOTELS.COM representative came through within less then 30 minutes, she quickly understood the situation and our frustration and got us a very nice partial refund on behalf of HOTELS.COM themselves. This kind of customer service will keep us coming. We value such customer care! Thank you HOTELS.COM, you saved our vacation. We booked another hotel afterward and went straight to it.

Fantastic stay at lugaris rambla

Absolutely fantastic from arrival at the office to collect keys, greeted by Marco, checkin was simple and quick after which we were escorted to the property and shown around, given maps of local area and the city, English speaking which helped as we only know a little Spanish, we were offered secure underground parkkng car parking for a small charge directly opposite the apartment and given a WhatsApp number to contact for anything we needed help with even tho the office was open 10am until midnight. There was a welcome pack with tea, coffee, salt, sugar etc and the apartment was spotlessly clean. There was every appliance we could ask for and a beautiful patio area outside. The bed was extremely comfortable with crisp white bedding, luxury pillows, a quilt, we slept well. There was air conditioning and heating and the area although outside of the city centre was only a ten minute drive away from all the major tourist attractions. Poblenou itself has some lovely bars and restaurants and we felt very safe walking around. There was a large supermarket nearby to stock up with anything we needed. The beach and metro were a two minute walk away. The only negative was that we couldn't stay longer. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely be returning.

The flats walls are quite thin so work was being done next door which wasn't great and then a family moved in with a screaming kid who spent two hours running up and down shouting. 4 Friends in Barcelona for a week

Our stay went perfectly with Lugaris. We arrived very early on Saturday and they were able to store our luggage for us until our official check-in time. We were personally walked to our apartment by Marco and given a briefing of the apartment. The unit we had was right off of Rambla del Poblenou where there was plenty of bars and restaurants without the crowds of La Rambla where every tourist will eventually visit. My only criticism was the speed of the wi-fi in the apartment but this was a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. I was honestly a little hesitant to book this apartment at first but I am certainly glad I did now!

Perfect for our family!

We stayed in a family apartment for 5 nights (2 adults, 2 children age 7 & 4). The apartment was perfect for what we needed, plenty of space so much easier than just being in a hotel room. Everything there that was needed for our short stay. Staff helpful.

We arrived on carnival day which was a nice surprise! Very loud in the apartment that night although died down by 9ish. The other nights fairly quiet just usual noise of being in a city.

Poblenou a nice area, cafes, restaurants, bars etc, seemed to be lots of locals with young families. People out in the main Rambla and on the beach promonade rollerblading, cycling, running and scooting.

2 mins from the beach (too cold for very long in Feb!) and a 5-10 minute walk from the metro which we used daily to explore around the city.

All in all Lugaris Rambla apartments were a comfortable base for our short stay in Barcelona! Thank you!

The best of Spain

Poblenou is a fantastic area of Barcelona to stay in if you enjoy feeling a bit more like a local rather than a tourist. The main 'Rambla' is a kilometre of bars, shops and restaurants all set in a beautiful tree-lined avenue which eventually links with the 'Diagonal' - Barcelona's main shopping road, which, as the name suggests, crosses the city from NE to SW. There is also a brand new shopping mall at the top of this intersection giving you the chance to shop under cover if raining or in the cool if the sun is too much.
The fabulous seafront offers the opportunity to walk, run, cycle or rollerblade for kilometres before choosing a spot to settle on at the beach and the park which runs parallel to the front gives you a choice of sun or shade.
The area is close enough to Barcelona city centre to walk if you're fit but the metro also runs a great service to all parts of the city.
The only downside of this trip was the proximity of a new-build block which meant we couldn't use the terrace one morning because of the noise and dust. However, we were out for most of the working day so we didn't let it affect us too much; if you want to spend time during the day on the terrace I would check to see how far the build was progressing before booking.

Lugaris Rambla exceeded my expectations. Though distant from \"central\" Barcelona, I appreciated the proximity to the beach and the ~10-15 min walk to the nearest metro station was not bad either. I believe the room I had was very nice for two on extended trips given the kitchen setup. I will definitely be coming back here for when I am coming to relax.

We are very glad that we chose Lugaris Rambla for our stay. The place was very nice, clean, and very comfortable in terms of space, especially being a family of four with two teenagers. My kids had separate beds (my son slept in the convertible sofa in the living room and my daughter in the second bedroom). Having two bathrooms was priceless. The area of Poblenou was very lively, although 10 mins away from the center of the city on a cab ride (we decided to splurge and not the the subway, but heard that the subway is very close and fast).
The day before arrival, the hotel called me to the U.S. to give us instructions for when we would arrive. They do not have a lobby at this Lugaris, nor they have phones connecting you to their reception, so I had to make international calls from my cell to communicate with them. These details were not great and the only reasons for us to rate it with 4 stars. However, whenever we requested support, they did not take long to come and take care of us. They also allowed us into our room earlier than the original entry time, which was very nice. And they sat down with us to help us plan activities, just like any hotel concierge services. We had a small problem with one of the showers and they took care of it very quickly.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again! I am very glad to have read the reviews, this was the reason why we chose this hotel, and why I am including our own comment today! Hope it helps other families!

Perfect 21st Birthday!

Location is great, slightly outside Barcelona but with perfect access to the beach! We walked along the beach front into Barcelona most mornings, which took around 40 minutes strolling. We stopped for brunch on the beach, watched the volleyball, passing both marinas and watched the world go by! What a relaxing way to spend the mornings!!

Metro station 10minute walk away from the apartment, and buses at the end of the street to take you into Barcelona, which all operate on the T10 transport card.

From the airport we took the Renfe train to Passeig de Gracia, and then changed to the L4 tube (all counting as one journey on the T10) to Llacuna.

Apartment was overlooking a lovely tree-lined street with lots of people watching and restaurants! We didn't hear any noise from the street.

Superb modern apartment, perfectly clean and a fab base for our trip! We had 5 adults, two bedrooms (for 4) and then requested a 5th person which they were very accomodating, and a comfortable bed on the sofa was made. They have their own website which show the apartments also.

Staff were very kind and helpful and extended our check-out for us, so we could enjoy a final full day in Barcelona!

Celebrating a 21st Birthday here was a great choice, and we would definitely return!

Not a hotel but an apartment unit

The staff was friendly, the location is decent, and the room is neat/modern but this IS Not a hotel. It's an apartment building that's being managed by a company, which means that there's no daily maid cleaning or turndown services (although I think for a fee they will send a maid) or easily accessible concierge. They give you a number that you can call if you need to talk to them but don't give you a phone in the room which means if your traveling from outside the country you're going to be using international minutes if you need something from them.

We only stayed there for two nights so it was not too big a deal but I'm sure it would get really annoying after a few more days.

We had a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment for a week. Very clean and well equipped. Welcome pack and water were very welcome. Reception staff were really helpful on arrival and afterwards too. It's on a popular street, so noisy in evenings if windows are open, but a small price to pay. Good location for beach and public transport, plus shops and restaurants.

We loved Poblenou. The hotel was in a great location near the beach and transit. The subway system in Barcelona is accessible; very easy to use. We spent time sightseeing the Gothic quarter, museums, Churches, shopping, Gaudi exploring in the city and relaxing along the beach. The food in Barcelona was delicious. Love the paella and many bakeries. It was great having a washer and dryer in hotel room. The room was spacious, clean, air conditioned and the balcony was a nice extra. We recommend this place for families and couples.

Great stay right on Rambla de Poblenou

Great premium apartments right at the end of Rambla de Poblenou towards the beach, it takes 2-3 minutes to reach the beach on foot. Very modern, fully equipped kitchen (nice welcome pack), two bedrooms, great free Wifi, balcony to Rambla. Only big minus: no cleaning/bedding or towels change in 5 days. We didn't ask, but we expected someone to come to pick up at least the garbage for 150 eur/night location. Anyway, I strongly recommend this location, I would return anytime.

Great place to stay, nice modern and clean apartment. The apartment was well equipped and the in suite laundry was a bonus. The area outside the apartment is filled with restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores. The Metro station is about a 10 minute walk but the terrain is flat and the neighbourhood interesting. We would definitely recommend staying here to others and when we return to Barcelona we will stay here again.

The only con is the fact that check in is so late (4pm), but after seeing where you're staying you will not be disappointed! Fast wifi, very comfortable beds, massive space, all the essentials, what more can you ask for when you're getting a two bedroom apartment for the same price of a tiny hotel room? Nice area with lots of restaurants and close to the sea, bus on the corner takes you straight to Las Ramblas (Plaza Catalunya) and 5 min walk to metro to get to all the must see sites! Highly recommended for families and large groups, but perfect for anybody who loves to feel at home away from home... you'll never want to leave! (PS request a street facing room so you don't have to look into a parking lot, it's a little loud at night but great for people watching and drinking wine and espresso on the massive balcony!)

My family and I had a very good vacation staying and Lugaris appartment.The service was more than exceptional in every way. The staff offered great advice with regards to good restaurants and how to get around . We felt very safe in the family oriented neighborhood, plenty of shopping with small restaurant and cafe's. We really enjoyed the beach which was only a 5 minute walk away. Our appartment was awesome, very comfortable and perfectly suited for a family of 4. The 2 bathrooms was a bonus.The room was very well equipped clean and bright. I would highly recommend staying here.

If you are fed up living out of hotels rooms, this is one for you, complete independence. Everything on your door stop and a beach 500 meters away, Only problem Parking.

Poor. Relative to their level of service.

Lugaris, BTW like all other Barcelona hotels, took advantage of the week of the Mobile World Congres and charged much much beyond anyone may expect of a hotel in such level. Even if they had charged 25% of what they charged me, I would not have come back there.

The Lugaris Rambla apartment is in a good location in Poblenou district. The staff was very helpful. We changed the apartment due to heating problem in AC. The parking fee could have been more affordable than 20 Euros daily price.

Easy and simple check in and out too.
You get a key to the maindoor to the building and by entering a link via your phone, your can enter the appartment.

Fantastic location. You can get to the beach within fem minutes and a nice playground for children is close to the beach. The cafes, restaurants and supermarket are nearby, at the same street/rambla. There is plenty of life, but we enjoyed it. That's what we love about Barcelona. At night we slept undisturbed.

There is a restaurant side by side with the building, so occasionally there is a smell of food in the hallway, but it was not bothersome.

The coffee machine and capsules were a plus also the welcome bag with salt pepper, sugar, oil etc. and not to forget the water. There were also capsules for dishwasher and washing machine, a drying rack, iron and ironing board. We also had towels to use. We had booked an apartment for 2 adults and 3 children and it was nice with two bathrooms and a large terrace, which we really enjoyed.

The apartment had the things we needed, apart from a vacuum cleaner and ventilation in the bathrooms. Bus to the center or for example Parc de la Ciutadella, is located 3 minutes on foot and the metro around 10-15 min.

The apartment could use an upgrade to make it more attractive, but we liked it and will definitely come back again.

We had an issue with the electronic lock, but the problem was solved very quickly by the staff. It is not a quiet building, but you are in the best place to enjoy Barcelona’s beach and main activities by walk.

Several problems, no customer service.

We had several problems.

The link with the key access suddenly stopped working, so we got locked out with our baby quite late at night. We had to wait for them to come from their office, and got no new key before we had to collect it ourselves the next day.

The metal bar over the shower fell down and hurt our sons knee, could have hit the head with severe consequences.

The customer service had very short opening hours, and could not understand simple english very well. Even though I speak some spanish, there were communication problems.

There was no information that we had to basically clean the apartment ourselves before check in. So be ready to clean a lot. There is also only one room service on a full weeks stay.

The rooms are barely sound isolated, we heard crying babies most of the nights.

We asked for a modest compensation for our troubles, but first no answer for several days, and then they answered no compensation at all. Outragous.

Avis séjour Barcelone lugaris rambla

L' appartement était parfait pour une famille de 4 ,bien équipé et trés propre.Il y aurait des petites réparations à faire comme les volets extérieurs qui font pas mal de bruit avec le vent ou les volets roulants qui marchent mal mais rien de bien gênant pour notre séjour.
L'emplacement proche du métro et le parking(payant) sont un vrai plus.
Le soir la Rambla de peblonou est un peu bruyante car il y a beaucoup de restos et de bars et donc pas mal de fêtard mais c'est aussi le charme de Barcelone.En période d'été cela doit être plus gênant.
La communication est bonne avec le loueur ( très réactif par WhatsApp) mais il faut bien vérifié les instructions avant l'arrivée.
Nous reviendrons à cette adresse sans hésiter pour un prochain voyage pour découvrir Barcelone plus encore.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt! Tolle Kommunikation und Unterstützung durch das Lugaris-Team.

Sehr viele Möglichkeiten, einzukaufen und zu essen. Sehr kulturelles Viertel.

Aufgrund der stark besuchten Gegend (eventuell nur in diesem Zeitraum der Fall) hoher Lärmpegel bis spät in die Nacht, da die Fenster vor allem im Schlafzimmer nicht sehr schallisoliert sind.
