I was shocked that the kitchen was a proper kitchen with a stovetop and had all the cooking essentials. The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable, especially the sofabed!! It felt like a normal bed! This place exceeded my expectations and would definitely come back

Naitly Poblenou offers an excellent location with easy access to public transport, supermarket and key attractions, including Arc de Triomf and the Sagrada Familia, both within walking distance. Don’t add it to your reservation on Expedia though. Cheaper just to buy at hotel or add to reservation here. 10 At check in, 12 at breakfast vs 16.5pp on Expedia.

Although the hotel is not centrally located, it is close enough to several major Barcelona attractions and well connected by public transport, with the Marina and Bogatell metro stations within walking distance. The building and amenities are decent, and breakfast was good, though the options were somewhat limited. The room, however, was a bit rundown and in need of refurbishment. The double bed advertised wasn’t actually a double but rather two single beds that easily separated, which was inconvenient for us since our small daughter couldn’t sleep with us.

The bathroom smells of sewer, so the door needed to be shut all the time. Expect better from a 4-star.

No \"do not disturb\" sign. Despite asking reception for no cleaning, was still woken at 9am by housekeeping for cleaning. And again at 12pm by reception. What hotel doesn't have a \"do not disturb\" sign for their doors???!

The first night was nightmare due to the disgusting smell of bathroom. For the whole night we were not able to sleep due to the smell. It was a safety hazard. The management were nice and professional. Provided us a free breakfast the next day and changed our room and said will not charge us for the first night. Getting uber there was not possible due to being in particular area of town and had to get taxi and of course cost more.

Very nice room and lovely breakfast buffet. Staff could have explained a few things like you need to put your key card into slot so lights would work and how to adjust air conditioning. Noise late at night from outside and in hallways and doors to the rooms made a loud noise if you let them self close. Would stay in a different area if we come back. A bit off the beaten track. A huge disappointment. Not like in pictures at all. Apartment desperately needs maintenance - doors, frames, furniture are in terrible condition and need replacement/renovation.
Needs much better cleaning and deep cleaning from time to time.
Some cutlery and pots were dirty.
Smells bad.
Patio (sun deck) is not properly maintained and looks abandoned.
All the beds are squeaky - very noisy, really hard to sleep.
There was shampoo+body wash (all in one), but no hair conditioner or lotion, first time I see that at the hotel.
On one of the days, we were not allowed to use the water (tap or showers) for 6 hours due to some chemical maintenance. Not bottled water or complimentary goods were provided.

Worth mentioning, staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Thank you.

Overall, would not recommend and won't be back unfortunately.

Room was good, however there was an absolute putrid overwhelming smell in the room. Seems as though they have a plumbing problem. When I asked about it at the front desk they were aware of the issue and gave me air freshener. They sent someone the next morning to check it but did not fix anything. When I asked for cleaning supplies to clean up vomit from a sick child, they gave me glass cleaner. Some of the staff was nice but others were rude and not helpful.

The hotel itself was ok. Great little restaurant right around the corner! But we stayed on the first floor. The outside sewage. Smell was overwhelming! To the point we struggled to sleep ior enjoy any time in the room. We said something to the front desk and it was obvious this was a common concern. We loved that they checked us in earlier than scheduled and the gym was much better than you’d normally find in same level properties.

Cleanliness can be improved as hallway outside the rooms were dirty from the time we checked in till we checked out. One big no no was they cleaned our room a day earlier than scheduled and left a window wide open! The room was freezing! Security was an issue as window was on the 3rd floor and easily accessible from outside. Local people always warn about keeping our valuables safe then the cleaning crew themselves leave your room open for outsiders! No real apology or anything else from the hotel management was done to address this issue. That was the biggest disappointment for us.

So overall happy with some stuff but ruined by experiences such as that.

This property provided large rooms (even the studio! I stayed in both studio and one bedroom apartment), comfortable beds, great breakfast, and I was able to do a load of laundry and work out in a nicely appointed gym. It is ideal for visiting students housed nextdoor and there is lovely grocery nearby if you want to stock the small kitchen for some meals. It is also close to metro and was a great value.

Great location: walkable distance to the grocery store and a few restaurants, 15-20 min drive to some meeting points for your tours in Barcelona and surroundings. There was only one elevator that was consistently in service, the other two were being repaired or something. The room size is good, sofa bed a bit squeaky, bad sewage smell in the bathroom that just won’t go away. The worst part is the elevator. There are two guest elevators and one ‘cargo/staff’ elevator. One of the guest elevators is out of service. The other is ‘closed’ during Monday to Friday, 9-6pm. Which doesn’t make any sense. On one of the days, the ‘cargo/staff’ elevator is acting up and when asked about it with the front desk they just told me to take the stairs. Oh and the ‘cargo/staff’ elevator is always occupied by housekeeping staff/trolley and sounds like it’s about to break anytime.

Neighborhood is also dead quiet. No shops. Nothing.
