The location is excellent. Within walking distance to Sagrada Família and Glories. The breakfast options was good with varieties from eggs, potatoes, cold cut meats and cheeses, fresh fruits, pastry, and cereals for €13. Staff was a bit passive aggressive at night time but still helpful. Room’s spacious and kept clean during our stay with daily housekeeping to freshen up our room. Overall I would recommend this place.

Amazing location, and one of the best showers i’ve had in any hotel! Heats up fast, great pressure, new design—it REALLY helped make our stay super relaxing to come home to that shower! We came for Primavera Sound, and adored the neighborhood although it’s not too close to the Parc Del Forum. However, the tram is a 5min walk and a cab home after the headliners was about 15Euro. The staff is friendly and helpful—- We will absolutely be back!

The hotel is away from main attractions but it’s walkable. I was able to walk to Sagrada Familia from this hotel. There are a few cafes & restaurants & supermarket not too far from the hotel. The rooms are clean, bed is comfortable, bathroom is a good size, but room itself was a bit tight. Could use more hooks in the bathroom. Windows in the room can be opened. Air conditioning was excellent. There is an elevator. Omar at reception was very helpful & personable. There is a room safe & kettle in the room. There is complimentary bottle of water on arrival. Breakfast is 12 euros. Uber from hotel to airport is 40 euros. I felt safe in this hotel. Reception is 24 hours.

The hotel itself was quite nice, clean and near all the attractions we wanted to see. We had no complaint.

During our stay, there were two front desk staff members, one in the day, one in the evening. The gentleman who worked during the evening was a pure pleasure to work with, very friendly, and quite helpful during our stay.

The female front desk staff person who worked both days during our stay was the complete opposite. If asked specifically about her, it my opinion she would benefit from additional customer service training.

Overall, our entire family still enjoyed the hotel and your beautiful city.

Hotel is a no frills in a not so bad location, you have to be prepared to walk or get public transport to most things.

Receptionist on the Night Shift was excellent and helped a lot when my partner had to go to hospital in an emergency.

Rooms are adequate but on the smaller side for Europe we found. Bed was fine as was the bathroom.

I stayed in the hotel for one night. The overall experience is very satisfying, the staff were nice and very helpful, food is very good.

I only had one issue, there is no carpet on the floor and it was super cold even with the AC was turned on hot.

I think it would be better if they either provide wool slippers for guests or cover the floor with a mat or carpet or something.

Safe & quite location. Friendly and accommodating staff, Arianda, Albert, Raul, David & Maria. I had a possibility request for a following day accommodation change, Arianda understood, checked and made the adjustment in minutes! The facility is clean and nice have a breakfast.
Anything I might not like is the quite small room table to work a bit; but it's nothing.

The property is very well situated. Its not around too many tourist and its safe. The hotel room is very clean, its small but it is what we needed for just sleeping and relaxing after walking the city. I really appreciate the cleanliness of the room and that they come to clean everyday. My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. We enjoyed our time here.
Even though it was small, the A/C worked well, the water preassure worked well, the bathroom was equipped with towels, shower gel and shampoo and conditioner, glasses. The safety deposit worked well.
The sheets were cleaned and the bed was nice and firm to sleep on.
The staff was friendly. We would choose to stay here again.

Our stay at SM Hotel Teatre Auditori, Barcelona was awesome. Their location is convenient from couple of attractions, beach and metro stations. Their front staff is very friendly. We were particularly impressed by their room service. The hotel is quite clean. Would definitely return to it if we visit the city again in future. The best part was the weighing scale they have kept at reception. Very useful if you are travelling and worried about luggage weight for some of the airlines like Ryanair with very restricted weight limits.

On arrival we were greeted by a freindly staff member Adriana. A long with the rest of the Front of House staff, nothing was too much trouble.
The room was spacious and comfortable. It was obvious standards of cleaning are very high and each day we returned to our room which was spotless.
Breakfast is buffet style.
Close to most visitor attractions, around 15 walk to Sagrada Familia.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.

I only arrived very late at night and left early in the morning. The guy on reception was helpful when I arrived. The air conditioning unit was spraying water all over the floor and wall. When I went down for breakfast at 10.50 I was told I couldn't get anything as it closed at 11.00. To be fair I ignored the lady and had some coffee and a croissant anyway.

This hotel exceeded my expectation. The concierge was friendly and helpful. The room was big, clean and the bed was comfortable. It was in a safe and quiet location within 10 minutes of walking distance to the Sagrada Familia.

We enjoyed our stay there and will definitely use them again when we go to Barcelona and will recommend our friend to use this hotel.

Location wasn't central, but close to La Sagrada, the flea market and bus routes. They had trouble with the card entry system at the front door, but it seemed to work later on. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was overpriced, thought it was included, but it's extra. It's decent for a day or two, but the same old after that. Plenty of cafes nearby. Overall, it's clean, functional and fair location. Research where you want to be in the city.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is little away from all the busy tourist area, so it felt safe and quite, which we liked. It's in more residential area but still easy to get to. The hotel is also in the walking distance to Sagrada Familia. About 15-20 min walk.
We liked the hotel overall with few caveat.
1. The breakfast is not worthy the money. I didn't purchase the breakfast with the room because it had mixed reviews. Well, that decision was good. We tried one morning for breakfast, and we were very disappointed. Well, it's okay if it was free, but for 9 euro, no not okay. Food is so great and cheap in Barcelona, and for 18 euro in a regular cafe (for two people), you will get a great meal and coffee! Skip the breakfast in the hotel and just walk few blocks around the hotel to go to a cafe.
2. Shampoo is so bad. May be not many people care about this, but their shampoo really bothered me. I don't expect much from free hotel shampoo, but it was pretty bad. My hair was so frizzy everyday and it didn't feel like it was cleaning well either.
3. Free wifi is very slow and weak. We stayed in the 3rd floor, and I could only use the wifi within 5ft from the room door and it was still very slow. The room was kind of like L shape, so when I turn to the corner and stay in bed, wifi didn't work.
With all these shortcomings though, the staffs were great and the city itself is so great, they kinda made up for all the shortcomings. We will revisit the city!

Close to Gran Via where you can pick up the hop on and off bus. There are a couple of affordable and delicious breakfast places to start the day. After touring, walk on the Gran Via to go shopping. The staff is friendly.

Rooms are smallish (no surprise with European hotels), but modern, clean, and functional. Nice little hotel situated near several metro lines with easy access into the centre of the city (can also walk to the centre in about 20-30mins). The room was very clean and comfortable although a lot smaller than it appeared from photos.
My only negative about the hotel were from the staff. Several members of the staff were very friendly however when we checked in we were served by a lady who was very belittling to myself and my partner. Also on one occasion where we had put a do not disturb sign on the door (aswell as locking the door) as the cleaners had not come yet and we wanted to rest and shower, the cleaners unlocked the door and still came it.
Overall a nice little hotel in a quiet area that was only let down by the service we received.

we stayed at this hotel last week the rooms are really spacious modern and clean and the staff were great , really helpful. The location is in the student area of the city and the windows didn't keep out the traffic noise which was constant and really bad on the Friday night. It is really close to the football stadium and Aragon metro is 10 mins walk away

Good hotel near two metro lines

This is a very clean and modern hotel in a quieter, more suburban area of Barcelona. The room was compact but had everything we needed. The fridge and free WiFi were added bonuses. For a three night stay this was a brilliant base to explore a wonderful city. The only downside was that the area surrounding the hotel is slightly rundown. That said, it was a low cost trip so the hotel more than met our expectations.

We booked this hotel in Barca as there were no cheaper alternatives. Accommodation was tight because of the King's Cup final and Primavera Sound. It was a standard hotel which was fine.

Disappointment in Barce - Hotel Teatre Auditori

Picked this location of our last night in Barcelona (after being in Spain over two weeks). Its location is in easy walking distance to La Sagrada Familia and was one of the main reasons we decided to stay there. On check-in, the woman at the desk was no more than begrudgingly helpful, and was less than helpful with requests later in the day for information about local amenities, like a supermarket or restaurant suggestions. It was early in the AM and we waited about 45 minutes to get into a room. No business center to use a computer and print airline boarding passes, rather had to pump Euros into a metered computer in the lobby (with no usage assistance offered).

The room, 105, was tiny with an odd layout (closet down a narrow hallway at the front door to the room), and not very clean, especially the bathroom, hair on the floor from the previous guests or housekeeping. Ultimately, my wife sustained bedbug bites in the room. This is every hotel guest's nightmare. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Cost was way out of line with the accommodation's quality and level of service. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a place to stay in Barcelona. You can do MUCH better that staying here. We were VERY disappointed!

A great hotel!

My stay for a conference was fantastic in every way--the service was friendly and helpful, the room spotless and fresh, and the amenities very modern. Had international TV channels, free Wifi, and a great location for someone who wants to take in the arts, near the National Theatre of Catalonia and the Cultural Centre. It's also within walking distance of other tourist attractions. I highly recommend this great hotel!

The Hotel Teatre Auditori was a very modern and functional place. Our room was clean and bright. We never took breakfast as it seemed fairly simple and we wanted a greater choice. Also, the room did not have a fridge or coffee maker. That apart, we had a pleasant stay and would consider this hotel for future visits. It was located in a quiet area but within easy walking distance of Metro stations, tram, shopping area and land mark sites.

When we arrived, lady at reception was not very friendly. However, the rest of the staff during our stay were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is near to alot of places, a 25 minute walk away from the beach, 10 minute walk away from the Sagrada Familia and shopping centre. It's 2 metro stations away from city centre. It would have been really good if the hotel had basic tea making facilities and drinking water. We had to go out when we wanted to have tea and had to buy bottles of water and plastic cups. The walls of the room are very thin. We were dusturbed thrice on our 6 day visit during early hours when the occupants in the room next door would come back from a night out and talk very loudly!

Great budget hotel

This hotel is great value for money if you are looking for a budget hotel in Barcelona close to the centre. This hotel is near the bull ring and close to the metro. The room was modern and clean and had everything that you needed, good spacious bathroom, though could have done with a table in the bedroom area. The only moan that I have is that the maid just walked in without knocking!!!

Decent hotel, better for couples than families

The Good: Location is very good, hotel stuff is very nice, hotel, overall and rooms are clean.
The Bad: Our room was too small for 3 people, and there is no basic stuff like hangers where you can leave your coat - you have to use closet which is not spacious. There is no room safe and room bar, you have telephone in the room but no instructions how to use it (like reception number etc.)

Not too bad

A bit away from the town but you still can walk to all the places you want to go in less than hour. The problem was the beds. We wanted a double room but it was just two single beds pushed together and a bit uncomfortable mattress. Had nice modern bathrooms and good room service. Satellite tv which only had BBC world news as a English channel. There are quite a few downsides but for a three star hotel its good.

Great hotel, friendly staff, good location.

Hotel was great, staff were helpful and incredibly friendly. Room was nice and clean, the only tiny issue we had was that when we first arrived the room smelt a little bit of cigarettes but this soon went and wasn't much bother. Walls are quite thin, but not enough to disrupt a good nights sleep.

The hotel itself is located on a lovely square, with Monumental and Marina Metro stations within a five minute walk.

Very good hotel

Hotel was ideal. Modern, clean and comfortable. Very close to the tube station with ideal links to all the major attractions within 10 mins.
Only real negative is there is no bar in the hotel and no real bars or restaurants nearby. Not major issue though as everything you need 10 mins away in the city centre. Hotel is very close to Sagrada Familia.
