Overall a great value. Location is perfect, noise level is low. No bad smell. Facility works ok, one time got stocked in the elevator but it was fixed very quickly. Shower head was loose but it was fixed wuickly. It’s not a luxury apartment but it’s clean and functional. Floor is hard laminate and gets first very quickly. A basic vacuum cleaner could make a difference for day to day cleaning, specially for a family with 2 young kids. Communication via the hotels.com portal was fairly good, no reply over the weekend! Quality of service could be a bit better for a family visiting from a different country with limited resources. We stayed for 11 nights and we had no major issues. Wife and kids enjoyed their stay. I recommend this location.

The front bath need a shelf & inside the shower needs a basket to hold shower gel, etc. Provided nice clean bath towels & a small box with 1 tablet for dishwasher,1 tablet for laundry machine & rack to put your clothes to dry, no clothes dryer mach. There is a cust service phone at entrance for assist. They are quick to help.there are lockers at the back to store your luggage if your rm is not avaliable you will need €1 coins for the lockers. We arrived 1pm & check in was 3pm Our apartment was ready & we check in early which we appreciated. The grocery store is across the road. La Segrada Familia was around the corner from the apt.NOTE that sometimes UBERS are not readily available, if you need to be somewhere & want to use UBER, I suggest you give yourself lots of time to try & get one as Local Taxis are very expensive. The local Taxis ( Black & Yellow) charge many fees added to the taxi Meter charge. Our taxi from the airport in Barcelona to the M H apartment , the meter showed €37 but charged us €50.80. SO BEWARE. Where as UBER only charge you the amt that you see on the app when you request one. Download freenow app at home before you go from home. so that you can request a taxi if you need one in Spain. Was NOT VERY HAPPY that the MH APT Cust Service would NOT provide a Taxi to go to the Cruise Port, they only provide Taxi to Airport. They need to Provide better Cust Service & provide taxi to anywhere we need to go.

This was a bear bones property. One towel per person and no kitchen towels. There was a roll of toilet paper in one bathroom and none in the second bath. The floors were not cleaned properly. No soap in the kitchen for dishes and no dishwasher soap.
Two of the mini split ac units leaked a tremendous amount of water all over the place. I called the hotline and spoke to someone who said they could not send anyone out until the next day! Totally unacceptable so I told them the water would be there the next day for them to clean up. They sent someone over within 40 minutes.

It was really disappointing not having AC during a heat wave in July. They compensated with an electric fan on our last day which was useless. Also, the stove wasn't working and we wanted to make food, tea etc but couldn't so had to purchase all meals instead. The toilet on the main bedroom was dripping and made sounds which was irritating. The area itself was the only highlight as it was very convenient to all attractions. I emailed the property after my stay to see if they could reimburse me for all the inconvenience and frustration but they never even bothered to even acknowledge. Would highly caution anyone from booking here!!

With a group of 6 a third key would have been more helpful then 2. We had to wait on people or cut things short to meet late group arrivals. Instructions about AC remotes and card insert would have been helpful. Other then that we loved the location and area. Lots of food, grocery stores, and close to bus/subway. Great property with full kitchen, laundry, and view. Overall, great stay I would go back.

Slight issue with key cards however this may have been a technological issue with departure dates, but this was rectified easily by being given a door code. Would happily stay again

I loved how close it is to the beautiful Sagrada Familia—just a 2-minute walk! There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby. While it’s self check-in, there’s a phone available if you need assistance. The place is clean and has a kitchen, which is perfect if you're traveling with kids. There's a Korean market next door and a supermarket right across the street. I highly recommend this spot for families!

We had a great stay at the apartment. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and close to dining and the metro. To be clear, it is not in the heart of the old city, but we weren't looking for that. It still had plenty within walking distance and was 1 block away from a metro that could easily and quickly get us anywhere we wanted to be in the city. If we preferred, everything also was walkable. We would definitely stay here again.

Luggage storage, if needed, before or after, is free, but requires a one euro coin to lock and remove the key. The property was very helpful in arranging our taxi to the airport. Good spacious place to stay with excellent location, very near the Sagrada Familia and shops. The place need refurbishing, you can see how old some of the appliances are. My only problem was the walls are thin that you can hear the footsteps of the people above us, the people across the apartment and the people going down the stairs which woke my kids up whose room was next to the entrance door. Apart from that, a comfortable stay.

The property was located very close to Sagrada Familia, which was positive. However, the street can be bustling, and it is difficult to sleep before midnight because of the noise outside. It had almost everything you needed for a short stay. One or two coffee pods for the Krups machine would have been a big bonus after a long trip to the accommodation.
The city tax for tourists increased from 5.50 EUR to 6.88 EUR before our stay but this was not communicated before our arrival.

The apartment was perfect for our needs of four people, ideally placed for use of metro and buses and a nice distance from the over crowded tourist areas. The apartment was clean with everything you could need and the greeting from the staff member on arrival was very helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend and use again.

There was no-one at the property when I arrived and I had no idea how to get in or find out how to enter my room, this was awful after 23 hours of travel. When I entered the room there were dead bugs on the floor, the amenities were basic to say the least, the TV didn't work at all and the shower alternated between boiling hot and freezing cold. On the second day I returned to find vomit on the front door, which remained there over night until the next afternoon. The room was loud from street noise and other guests, the bed was a sofa bed and very uncomfortable. Not a pleasant stay and not worth the money at all.

Clean and comfortable apartment with a beautiful view. It is a convenient location to walk or use public transportation to access other parts of the city. There is a market across the street and a second larger market around the corner to purchase food items. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!

The apartment was not clean when we arrived at 2pm. The apartment had us meet them outside and we went inside the apartment with their representative. We got checked in and we noticed the beds were not made, he informed us the maid hadn't cleaned yet. So we had to leave our things inside the apartment and wait for the maid to clean. Very strange, Why would you have us go into an unclean apartment??

Excellent location, nice stay, great service. However, the apartment was not perfectly cleaned, you can find a lot of unclean spots. The facilities need maintenance, as one of our bathroom had a small water leakage after shower and the air conditioner in the en-suite room constantly making noises that we found it difficult to sleep.

I had booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit for 3 people but it showed booking for 2 people and we were asked to pay extra money per night for the third person which did not make sense but we paid anyway.
The master en-suite had mould on the bathroom ceiling and we noticed mould on the curtains in the bedroom and living room.
I contacted the office twice to report this.
On our second last day the hinges on kitchen cabinet fell off and their technician came over to fix it and I showed him the moulds which he took pictures of.
We only stayed for 4 days but by third day my friend sleeping in master bedroom developed a sore throat and a cough which we suspect is related to the condition of the room.

A perfect place to stay in Barcelona
It was a great place to stay, very close to the Sagrada Família and the metro. A nice large apartment will all the amenities, even a few coffee pods and snacks. It was easy to set a time to meet up with the MH representative.
A word of warning though about travelling on the metro. We had been warned about the pick pockets and were careful but when we were travelling on the metro at a busy time we were targeted by a gang of them. Pushing and shoving us when we were getting on the metro. My husband lost his wallet. It happened so fast. So be careful they are professionals. Apart from that we had a wonderful time. Also pre book your tickets to visit any of Gaudi’s things.

Arranged to meet at the apartments but were left waiting outside in extremely hot conditions for quarter of an hour before another guest let us in to wait inside, even though the person meeting us was there on site checking in another guest. The cooker hob was disgustingly dirty, the floor had been swept but not washed as our feet got dirty after showering, the outside table top had not been cleaned and there were ants in the kitchen and bathroom.
The shower hose leaked profusely and needs fixing. And the safe was locked and unusable while we were there which we did report but nothing was done for the three days we were there.

Unknown person opened the apartment with key
He gave us one key, opens the apartment and the building with the same key, one night when I was sleeping in the living room , I found someone opened the door and entered the apartment , can you believe it? Then I said who is this , he ran away and closed the door, how can he got another keys? Is all rooms have the same key? Sure not , totally I will never go their again for safety and privacy issue, if you are ok with unknown sudden guest or thief enters your room , go with it, it was one of the worst experience in my life.

We went to Barcelona a few nights early before getting on a cruise ship. The apartment was close to the metro stop and Sagrada Familia. Need a wine bottle opener in the room. Also, a description of how the washer and dryer work.

Newly refurbished 2 bedroom apartment
Had a great stay in one of the 2 bedroom & 2 bath apartments. The apartment was newly refurbished and the kitchen was nicely equipped. The pictures of the 2 bedroom apartments are older & don’t represent well the new remodel. One block away from Sagrada Familia & had a great partial view of the church. Would easily stay again.

nice apartment, feels like home. There is a grocery across the street. There are restaurants closeby also like mexican, peruvian, colombian, italian and of course catalan. So many things to do and see nearby. Close to the metro station too.

Staff was very nice and helpful. We had them call us a large cab for our trip to the airport and cab was very timely for a 6:30 departure from the hotel.
Heater was very slow to warm up, so I would also worry about the AC being able to keep up during the hot summer months. The second night we were there, we saw a very large cockroach climbing in the toaster. Made me a little sick to think that I had toast that morning using the toaster in the apartment.
We got stuck in the elevator for a few minutes. They are serious about the 300kg weight limit, I guess. With 2 adult sons and a husband who are all 6ft 2in or over, we could not all 4 ride up in the elevator. Not a big issue though, just didn't like getting stuck in the elevator at 21:00, but weren't there long.

These apartments have great potential but are in HUGE need of a deep clean and some maintenance.

Both bedrooms and the bathrooms had a lot of mould on the walls and there was a damp smell and feeling in the air even after using the air con and opening windows. The bathroom with the shower did not have a functioning window or fan and the shower in the en-suite was unusable as it would not stay in the holder. One of the kitchen tiles was broken and a trip hazard. We had to move one of the twin beds away from the wall because the mould was so bad and that and damp was getting on the duvet cover.

The first thing that MH and Hotels.com must be informing the people that rent to contact MH personally before arrival so SOMEONE could be present to open the door and perform the check in, because waiting at the door for 15 Minutes is no good, and then for foreigners it’s difficult to call and I had to ask the help of a shop keeper to make the call on his mobile on my behalf. I know that MH at the locationI visited will be refurbised because theee were a few minor things that needed fixing, but I documented it with MH personnel and I’ll look forward using them again.

Amazing Stay 1 Block Away From Sagrada Familia!
Our stay at MH Apartments was amazing! We checked in pretty late and had to wait for someone to come by so keep that in mind if you will be checking in late as well. We met with Julian who was incredibly friendly and welcomed us to the apartment. He gave us a quick tour of the apartment and gave us all the information we needed. The apartment was set up with everyday that we would need including a welcome bag with rags, napkins, and even laundry detergent enough for a wash. We couldn't be more happy with the choice and the location was excellent 1 block away from Sagrada Familia. The only complaint I would have it that the apartment we got was right next to the street which was very loud at times but did not give us an issue.

There is a paella shop at ground floor, reasonably priced but opens only during the day. Things we didn't like: Mould in the bathrooms and walls around basin could be better cleaned. OUTSTANDING PLACE
Perfect in almost every way. Julian met us at our apt next to Sagrada Familia, and walked us through everything fully. He gave us a great map, showed us the bus lines and ways to get around; he also provided us with some smart tips for our time in this beautiful city. Seriously, he deserves a raise, or a promotion, he's a wonderful host/concierge. The apartment was well-kept, with everything working and clean linens. We had service over the weekend while we took a train to Bordeaux, and came back to the same wonderful setting. Security isn't an issue, as the location is fine and close to some great places for food, coffee, and groceries/medicals if need be. No noise issues from other guests, or from any neighbors in back (it was situated around other apts, a nice neighborhood feel to it with a great view of the church on our back porch). This is not the Ritz Hotel, and it's not supposed to be. It's spacious, comfortable, and located perfectly, and the price was great for what we wanted - plus, they have locations all throughout the city, so we know where we'd like to stay next time we come. All in all, wonderful people to deal with, very accommodating, and I highly recommend utilizing them for visits.

Ok Apartment hotel close to Sagrada Familia
The apartment hotel is ok, it was quite clean (except that I found a few hair in the shower...), well located very close to Sagrada Familia. The only issue was that it was pretty noisy, you can hear quite well what is happening in the apartments below and next door, especially when it's young people partying!
The other disappointment was that you need to contact the staff prior to check in so they can make it on time as there is no reception. It was actually written on the reservation but not made that clearly and I had to borrow a phone to call them and then wait for 20min for them to come. It is ok if you know about it but if you're travelling from a different country and don't have a local phone either, it is not very practical!

The hotel staff was the highlight. Very helpful in arranging transportation. They also allowed us to store our luggage at their office.

Liked the apartment a lot. there's a lift (although small, for max 4 people). Apartment was spacious and clean. Had to wait about an hour for check in, which was inconvenient. However, the MH office printed my boarding pass for me and left it in my room, so service wasn't that bad after all. Really enjoyed my stay in Barcelona here.

The hotel was clean and perfectly located in town so we had access to everything we wanted to see. Parking was a challenge so I would recommend not renting a car when you go for your vacation. Taxi & Public Transportation will do just fine.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and it was great. It was our first time in Barcelona...and first time traveling outside of the U.S. The staff member who met us at the apartment was very friendly and had some great tips for our stay. There is a little supermarket right across the street, which was very convenient. One of the main reasons we stayed here was the location. It is right around the corner from La Sagrada Familia. We went there almost every night to admire it and met some wonderful people. Valencia is a very busy street and was quite noisy, but you couldn't even tell with the windows closed. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Bed was comfortable. Overall a great experience.

Minor details missing such as a shelf in the shower and the blind in the bedroom was broken. We were four adults so another comfortable chair or two would have been good and the small kettle was hopeless. But in a great location and the reception staff were very helpful.
