The AC wasn't working. We stayed for 3 nights and it was brought to the attention of the front desk upon arrival but nothing was done.Front desk has no customer service as well. It doesn't look like they like working there.

Our stay at Sagrada Familia was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped with everything we needed and always called the taxis in advance when we requested them. The breakfast buffet was included and was very good. We highly recommend this hotel and if we come back to Barcelona we will stay again in this Hotel.

My stay was excellent. We arrived early in the morning and got checked in even though a room wasn’t available. The front desk shared some places we could eat breakfast before we began sightseeing. Upon our return, the room was ready. It was clean, spacious and well suited our needs. I would definitely stay there again.

Very close to Sagrada Família. Room was tiny like large closet. Balcony was huge. Room temperature was either too warm or freezing. Could not find comfortable temperature. No shampoo or conditioner. Do bring your own. Don’t give enough towels either. It was okay. Would try someplace else next time.

Check in staff were excellent, really positive, kind and helpful. Room we had was tired but tidy, unfortunately we had cockroach in it, air conditioning didn’t work, room was so hot so had to open windows in middle of the night to get room cool enough to sleep. Location was superb, only a few blocks to Sagrada Família. Refreshing rooms and fixing air conditioning would help this hotel.

Rooms were great! Staff great! Location great! AC not so much, had to keep the window open with the “ac” on to keep the room cool. The Ac is more like a fan. Had a group of friends also stay here and were on the fifth floor, all the rooms were hot and made it hard to sleep but opening the window helped. Heater turned on in the middle of the night had to call for them the turn it off. Seems to be controlled by staff. Maybe ask for a lower for a cooler room. The rooftop is awesome to see the Sagrada Família!

If you don’t mind the window open with outside noises these rooms are great! Location is two blocks away from Sagrada Família and close to the metro and food and shopping! Supermarkets are very close by.

Room is fairly clean (no issues), Staff (it varies) - the staff that checks us IN at around 10pm-1030pm is HORRIBLE, No Customer service skills at all. My purse (where my phone is, planner, wallet, etc.) was stolen while we are in the whole process of checking in, which means we are INSIDE the hotel (which has its own entrance door).
When I reported it to her, she just said \"well if you put your purse around the OPPOSITE corner I won't be able to help you with that\". SERIOUSLY, immediately you know where I put it? I insisted on getting the security camera and showed it is next to me not the opposite direction,where I was doing my check in. she was so defensive even at the start I told her where I was with the whole time.
The one who relieve her though on a nightshift was very good, made an effort to calm my family down, that staff surely deserves a commendation, she explained how things are around Barcelona, at least we see there's an effort to be on our side.
If only I have powers to fire that staff, I will fire her. When the initial report happened, she immediately accused a customer to put the purse somewhere else (no logic at all). I was the victim but she wanted to turn right away a judgmental approach that it is the customer's fault WITHOUT even saying she was sorry about it. Travelers are not stupid, the reason why we can afford to travel because we were wise enough to afford it. I myself already know that I won't be able to get it back but a good customer service

Extremely Disappointed – Lack of Flexibility and Professionalism
Our stay was completely derailed by the hotel's lack of flexibility and poor service. We arrived on Palm Sunday for a very special occasion—my daughter’s 5th birthday. She was already dressed up for our planned visit to a nearby church and a birthday photo session at Park Güell, but we never made it.
Despite having a prepaid reservation for a room that fits three people, the staff refused to accommodate our family when our plans changed and we arrived with our daughter. I offered to pay a supplement to keep our family together in one room, but the receptionist flatly refused and insisted we book an entirely separate second room instead.
The receptionist was incredibly dismissive; she refused to provide her name or contact a manager to help us resolve the situation. Because of this rigid and heartless approach, we had to cancel all of our birthday plans and spend the afternoon searching for new lodging. This hotel seems more interested in upselling than in guest experience or basic kindness. I would not recommend staying here if you are looking for a stress-free family trip.

Hotel Sagrada Familia was our place of respite in Barcelona for two nights. It is a very nice, simple hotel close to many amenities, especially close to the famous Sagrada Familia (only 2 blocks away). There are many sites to see not far away and local transportation is readily available. Both CityBus and Barcelona Bustoristic (both are hop-on-hop-off tourist rides) have close-by stops and will give you great access to the city as well as guide info while you ride.
The hotel has nice rooms, not expensive, but are definitely on the no-nonsense side. Everything is clean and easy to access. We were checked in by the sweetest hostess, Serena, who treated us as her long lost grandparents and was the most helpful of any \"clerk\" we have ever found.
The offered breakfast menu is very European continental and presently at 8Euro per person. There are many stores and restaurants close by if you desire something a bit more fulfilling.
In all, if you are looking for an inexpensive spot to stay in Barcelona, I would recommend this hotel for you.

We enjoyed this hotel and I would recommend it- a nice property in a good location several blocks from Sagrada Familia. Take the time to go to the 8th floor roof to see the wonderful views! There were several restaurants within walking distance and we had hardly any delays in getting a taxi. They are always nearby! The room was clean and the staff accommodating if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend the breakfast add on - lots of food choices at a very reasonable cost.

Great views from the room we stayed. Good size and very clean room with WiFi, water kettle and refrigerator in the room. The shower was incredible. Location was great, close to shops, restaurants, breakfast spots, metro and famous streets. Hotel offers breakfast buffet with additional fees.
Ensured when booking your room, pay extra attention on how many people stay in the room to avoid unexpected charges.

the pictures don't do justice to the actual condition of the place.There were several blackouts and we had to lug down our suitcases over 4 flights of stairs at 4am!! and the reception staff wasn't even apologetic about it! The aircon was only set to heater so we had to open the window. While proximity to the Basiica was very near, i wouldn't recommend this place at all. The saving grace there was the buffet breakfast which was pretty good.

I stayed at Sagrada Familia Barcelona and was given a room where the air conditioning did not work. The evening receptionist confirmed the issue but said the hotel was fully booked and could not move me that night. His only suggestion was to open the windows, which left the room uncomfortably hot.

The next morning, I was moved to a room with working air conditioning. However, when I spoke with the daytime desk manager, she explained that no refund as it is non refundable, or goodwill gesture could be offered. Not even a small courtesy was extended to acknowledge the inconvenience.

I reported the matter to Expedia and received partial compensation, but the hotel itself refused to take responsibility. Charging guests for a room that does not meet basic standards of comfort is unacceptable.

Sagrada Familia Barcelona failed to deliver a minimum level of service and declined to recognize the impact on my stay. I am not seeking apologies—I am seeking fairness.

Las habitaciones son demasiado pequeñas y muy incómodas, pedí que me cambiaran porque literal si abría mi maleta en el pico espacio que quedaba no tenía espacio para caminar. Además es la primera vez que en mis reservaciones me dicen que la habitación era solo para una persona, generalmente es habitación doble y tuve que pagar extra, así que cuidado al reservar porque ya tu tarifa se va muy alta.

This hotel is in a great location. Definitely go up on the terrace to view the Sagrada Familia at sunset. There is an amazing restaurant one block away called Bocca di Benefacio. Breakfast at the hotel is nothing special, but it--s fine.
