The room not comfortable. Although it had a king bed, there was no room to move around it. The mattress was very thin and not comfortable. In the living area, there was a single pull down futon used as a chair. 2 people could not sit on it to see the crooked tv. The washroom had black mould all along the shower divider.

Staff was courteous, responses were fast. If you plan to use the kitchen you need to buy condiments, paper towels… You’re only provided with dishes, utensils, and pots. Place is walkable to La Sagrada Família, lots of eating and local markets. The elevator was out for two days, this was very inconvenient for me. Taxi and buses are within walking distance.

They have increased the 'tax' amount of our booking without informing us in advance. It was not the price we secured on Hotels.com, and apparently, Hotels.com denies any obligation. The room door doesn't have a lock; it is just that the handle can't be turned from the outside.

Property was in an excellent location, only a short walk to the Sagrada Familia. Lots of taxi's available if you need to go further. Casual dining options scattered around the hotel with lots of dining options available on the walk to the basilica. Best part is you can then dine with a view.

Very clean and responsive property. There are two issues we faced. One- the apt was hot and we had to ask for a fan because the air conditioner was not able to cool down the entire space. Second- the beds were extremely uncomfortable. They weren’t real beds but roll on twin mattresses. The property needs to invest in overall amenities to make it more enjoyable. They were responsive but the solutions made it tolerable but not pleasant. If they invest then it would have a higher rating from me and I think other guests.

Location is great for Segrada Familia (with lovely dining, dessert, coffees and ice cream just a few minutes away) and Metro stations in good distance for other tourist attractions, fruit and drink shops available nearby. We had a family room of four and whilst the room was clean and had ac, room cleaning available on request, the apartment was not very big or had much storage space. No safe to put valuables in but they do have a 24hour reception desk in the same building. This is a good apartment if your not going to stay inside for long lengths of time, we only slept there although beds and sofa bed are not comfortable to sleep on. Oh and only one mirror in bathroom for 4 females to share. Overall did the job for our first time stay for 7nights in Barcelona

The bad: The beds are unbearable!! We travel a lot and know that beds in Europe are kind of firm for us westerners, these beds are as hard as sleeping on the floor. The pillows felt like a sand bag and weighted just as much as one. Not sure what the target audience is, but we did not sleep properly for 3 days. The A/C took 2 days to bring the temperature down, and no curtains on all but one window, so sleeping in is not an option. The Good: location is perfect, close to everything with tons of shops and restaurants, the staff was very nice although the rules are kind of strange, like “leave the key at the reception before you go out” or turn off the A/C when leaving anywhere. The apartment was very clean and if they could fix just the beds, it would be almost perfect, the A/C and the curtains would not be an issue,

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the service. The location was fine as it was relatively closed to a metro station. Leading to La Sagrada Familia, there was a pedestrian street with restaurants which was nice to walk down. There is an underground parking spot available for a fee; however, more information should be given related to alternative parking with easier access.

The kitchen needs to be upgraded and refurbished and so does the bedroom, including the bed and the rest of the furniture in the living area. The apartment was in urgent need of heavy curtains in the bedroom.

Spotlessly clean apartments close to local bars and restaurants and Sagrada Familia and metro. Close to city centre, and a nice, safe feeling area. Apartments are a little dated, but felt very authentic. Would definitely choose to stay here again. Also, they have a deal with the local secure parking, which works out at €20 per day.

Budget feel but not budget price
I was attending the Mobile World Congress earlier than my team and received this information late. I didn't find that the walls were so thin and the layout was quite efficient for me. The shower was fairly modern and I could have used some directions on how to turn it on. I ended up taking a bath the first day because I couldn't figure it out quickly enough. There was an extra cot in my room, so if I was a group of 3 I think the accommodations would have been more cost efficient. With all the taxes my room was about 250 euro per night and the space was similar to something I would pay $75 usd or $100 maximum for in the US. It had two great sites nearby including the Sagrada Familia and was super easy to access by train. The front desk woman was quite nice and helpful. They did not clean my room after my first night, which I found odd, but with just one person it did not need much cleaning. It looked like someone had started cleaning and didn't get a chance to finish.

The staff was friendly and the area felt quite safe at night. There are several super markets within two blocks where we bought ingredients to cook a quick breakfast or dinner to avoid overspending for the week we were there.

Staff was nice and very generous. The apartment seemed \"old\", a bit tired. I slept in the kitchen area, there was No Air. Others in the bedroom. The bathroom was no more than functional. It was tiny. Thankfully no one had claustrophobia.

We arrived very late and the check-in person was very sympathetic and friendly. The apartments are large, with a nice fridge and various closets. However, my window faced the street and there was a small portion which the curtains did not cover, so the sun shone onto my face. This was annoying. Everything else was great though- kitchen, staff, bathroom, rooms.

Quiet neighborhood near Metro stop (5 mins). Walking distance to Sagrada Familia (10-15mins). Bed not that comfortable, hence the 3 rating. Functional kitchen good for cooking breakfast or maybe lunch. The internet was free and blazing fast - I got 20Mbps! Reception: Need to improve English skills. Signage: \"BCNStop\" is not marked on the exterior of the building except for a very small sign inside the doorway area - certainly not visible from the street in a taxi.

Good apartment for the money
The apt. is small but has everything needed. We bought groceries at a near by market and were able to save money by cooking breakfast at home. There are plenty of restaurants and markets within walking distance. Also, one can walk to 2 different metro lines. The only bad thing was that the shower was small and the water temperature wasn't consistent. We didn't deal much with the staff but she was nice.

Would rate this as a two-star at best. Tiny room with no dresser drawers or kitchen cabinets. Flip a coin as to whether you had hot water for a shower. Advertised a roof terrace, but door to roof said it was closed. Hotel staff didn't have any local maps. No safe in room or safe deposit box available.

great location for our needs
A few minutes walk from the nearest metro, walking distance from sagrada familia. We even walked from camp nou to avoid the post match crowds, although I wouldn't recommend that one! Staff were friendly and about half had good english, the rest we managed to communicate with okay. internet wifi was not always the strongest signal and a few of the cards with the password were wrong, the one taped on the reception desk worked.

We stayed in an apartment with a double bed and a single. It was spacious and convenient. It is not right downtown in Barcelona but it is convenient to metro stops! I would stay there again! We were in Europe for a month so we were on a budget. This place was a great deal!

Very nice and good sized room. Great set up with kitchen and dining area. Great location. Metro is a 5 minute walk away, Sagrada familia was about a 15 minute walk away. Many markets near with very nice fresh and cheap fruit and other stores with food you can take home and cook.

Ambulances make noise all night so don't expect to sleep much. Location is close to sagrada familia and metro. Great neighborhood the only downfall is that it's next to the hospital and also the shower is tiny without hot water.

Best place for travelling students
All of the staff are extremely nice and accommodating dispite not have large grasps of the english language. The apartment was easy to access and had a good sense of privacy, giving you the feeling of truly living within Barcelona. It is right next to Hospital Sau Pau (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and a 5-10 min lovely walk down several promenades flourished with an array or bars and eateries down towards Sagrada Familia. Students! Stay here!

The real name is \"HOTEL EVEREST\". One negative, the Elevator is on the mezzanine. Everything else is wonderful. Taxi Stand and Bus Stops are just outside the hotel. Rooms are very spacious and clean, helpful staff. Thru the Pomenade which is 1/2 block away that leads to Sagrada Familia with good restaurants along the way and friendly people everywhere. Felt safe walking around and staying for a drink or read a book at the promenade even at 2 am. Try the Paellas from different restaurants!!!!

Get the Hop on / Hop Off bus to take you anywhere significant...Taxi stand is around the corner for Airport, Seaport or any place you fancy. Was a clean and comfortable stay. Basic kitchenette facilities and just enough room to make a simple meal and eat at a small table. 10 - 15 min walk to Sangrada Familia and the Metro station. None of the hotel staff spoke any English so a bit tricky to ask questions! There is wi fi available, you just need to get the password from reception (on the 6th floor).

We really had a great time.
The hotel`s location and price are unbeatable, the staff is nice and helpful, with attention to details - they gave us service we never expected from a budget hotel. We have spent a week in BCN STOP Sagrada Familia hotel, and the only thing that bothered us was the paper-thin walls, but we usually got home late at night, tired after a day of fun in Barcelona, so we could easily get over this minor issue (as long as one doesn't get babies in the neighboring room).
The kitchen was very handy, we could make our own coffee in the morning. Furniture was comfortable, walls were clean, bathroom spotless-clean.
We had a good time in the hotel, we hope to get back asap.

You don't need to break your bank account to stay here. The apartment is good enough the sleep 5 persons if you are not very demanding with confort and privacy. The neighborhood is very quite and well comunicated with the rest of the city. Only 5 blocks from Sagrada Familia.

L'appartamento non era in buone condizioni quando siamo arrivati, per condizioni non dipendenti per intero dalla struttura e nel giro di mezza giornata hanno sistemato il tutto. Unica cosa avevo chiesto di pagare con Amex e non è stato possibile. Per il resto un buon appartamento per un fine settimana lungo a Barcellona pulito e comodo.

Habitación ruidosa, sin control de los huéspedes que entran y salen del edificio, la puerta de entrada principal está abierta, no hay seguridad. La recepción que se encuentra en el 6o piso está siempre vacía, solo se encuentra al recepcionista por teléfono. En la página de hotels.com dice que el pago se hace en el lugar, pero luego el hotel te contacta para hacer el pago por adelantado, de lo contrario no recibes el código de la puerta de la habitación. Desorganización. Estuve con mi hija pequeña, alojada al lado de un grupo de jóvenes que estaban haciendo fiesta en la noche. La habitación está bien, tiene espacio, buena iluminación, es tranquila si no hay vecinos, el baño es espacioso. Lamentablemente todo lo negativo hace que el valor del hotel no justifique el precio.
