Staff very friendly and attentive and provided an additional fan when requested . However the condition of the apartment is poor, worn down and needing a lot of maintenance work. The kitchen lacks a lot of what could make it a functioning kitchen. It’s not worth what we paid for it but the area was comfortable and spacious

A well placed and spacious apartment

The apartment was spacious and had what was needed. Some tlc needed (eg painwork and bathroom) but the place was clean. Good ac and a fan in the second bedroom (as pre-requested) was welcomed. Good comms. Lockers for bags super. Location really good. Toiletries and kitchen welcome back great. Overall, I would stay again and would recommend.

I would certainly come back

Very nice apartment, lots of space, big bathroom, very nice location, near the Sagrada familia and transportation.
The only downside is the lack of A/C in the second bedroom.

Easy check in process and great location within walking distance to many places. Unit had everything we needed for our stay. One of the bedroom downstairs did not have an ac unit so it was warm and no one slept in that room. They had to sleep upstairs on the couch bed next because there is an ac unit upstairs. Overall it was a good stay

Misrepresentation of the units

This company owns more than one unit in the building. When we arrived, we were assigned the unit 00, a duplex which is accessed from the ground floor. But all the windows open to a -2 and -1 level small deep hole in the ground at the back. The place stinks of humidity and sewage. The smell stayed all night even though we opened all the windows. The photos on this website show a balcony with a view to a leafy street and this is what I thought I booked. After complaining, we were moved to a 4th unit but after having to spend one night in the horrible stink, which kept us all awake. Booking this apartment is playing russian rulet given the risk you can get this unit. The 4th floor was decent. But the unit 00 is not fit for habitation given the heavy humidity and the sewage stink.

Lovely spacious apartment in a more residential area of Barcelona - 10 minutes walk from the Sagrada Familia and metro station, but further from other more touristy areas, but this was fine for us. Checkin was easy and the flat was perfect for what we needed. It was particularly noisy outside one night

We enjoyed our stay however… it was very odd not to have locks in the doors (toilet, balcony and main door from the inside) so it wasn’t ideal with my little son.
Location is great for visiting Sagrada Familia otherwise public transport is handy.

Check in and was easy and automatic.

The grocery store is right beside the apartment and the food is so fresh and price is great. Fresh strawberries vegetables etc. so convenient. The place is clean and we asked for a lot of help. Getting in we didn’t know to push the door in and we didn’t realize the elevator door needed to be pulled open. Also we unplugged the hot water tank to use the toaster and called that hot water was t working they sent someone over within 15 minutes late at night. The man was so nice and not judgmental so I feel we were a lot of work but the place was Very responsive. I think a sign for the hot water do not unplug would be helpful also some type of guest book to write about what your u enjoyed. Also a better sponge. My daughter slept in the second bedroom and the noise in the hall can wake you. Also maybe directions for the trash and the heat and ac would be helpful. I loved it though. Very nice place to stay. Also bar marina across the street is not a bar!! Enjoy

This property is really well placed! Nice and quiet neighborhood, with several cafes and restaurants Nearby but when we arrived to the property is should be restored, the place was old, dirty, the bathroom ugly and very dirty, like and old bathroom. The door lock of the bathroom was broke and all the apartment was with dust. Refrigerator was very old and noisy. I will recommend this place only because of the location but me and my family didn’t have a good time in here!

I liked the closeness to trains, sightseeing and easy access.

Did not like the fact that on the first day we had no heater one of the windows was broken and it was loose and making noise all night, the last two days of my stay the toilet broke and they were not willing to come out and fix it, there was 5 people in my party. Very disappointing.

Close to Sagrada Familia which is a plus. The pictures of the apt appear to be more modern than it actually was which was a bit disappointing. The apt was upstairs was making pounding noises from around 8am so if we wanted to sleep in we could not. The neighbourhood was also noisy - we stayed in one afternoon and there must be a day care next door as we heard screaming children all afternoon.

Spacious one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen

No front desk reception. No way you could store your luggage before or after. Need to pay extra to store luggage nearby (5 euros per piece and extra efforts needed.) Downside is you need to make prior arrangement with Head Office to arrange a check in time. Otherwise you have to wait for an hour outside the property to wait for the guy to come in to arrange checking in.

Good location, bed and pillows not very comfortable. The keyless entry should be a plus except the keyless door lock ran out of battery and my family and I were locked out of the apartment from 10pm to about 1:30am. At 12am my daughter felt asleep on the uncomfortable chairs located the in the hot reception area, waiting for someone to come open the door for us. Worst experience ever.

Nice apartment in central location

This apartment was good for 5 people and it was in a great location. It’s a few blocks from Sagrada Familia and there are many bus lines within 2 blocks from it. The apartment was clean and in great condition. The staff was very helpful and responsive to all my questions. We were even able to get an early check-in to the room. The only down size is that there is only one bathroom for an apartment for up to 6 people. Still I would totally recomment this place, totally worth your money!

Great spacious apartment (we got the biggest one), great receptionist, handled our having an extra baby along like a champ (Hotels.com should let you put in more than three kids), and were very nice and friendly. Apartment worked great, and was clean. Beds weren't super comfortable and the couch was small, but it worked fine for us. Kids especially liked that Disney Channel on the TV was in English :) Decent internet and great location (right next to bus and metro stops, 10 min walk to Sagrada Familia and Recinte Moderniste de Sant Pau). Would stay here again. Fun little rooftop terrace too (although no view from it). My pictures are dark, but the apartment wasn't :)

Apartment is well located but it is falling apart. Bed frames are very unstable, mattresses are low quality, extra pillows provided but no pillow sheets. Floors are very dirty. Windows do not close properly. Towels were very old. This place needs an upgrade.

Watch out for additional costs

Reception was quite friendly BUT we were charged additional 24€ as ‘City tax’ then 25€ for ‘cleaning fee’ plus 150€ deposit then it was 50€ to park for 2 nights. I feel these are very deceptive practices and would not recommend Barna house because of these addition expenses plus it is in pretty bad condition

The location was good as it is strategically placed near to the famous landmark Sagrada Familia. However, the wifi was weak and some furniture in the apartment is worn out. The reception counter is only manned like 3 hours everyday. Overall though we had a comfortable stay, the apartment is not amongst the most decent that we had stayed earlier.

Great location and Clean place.

I love everything about this place, the only thing I do not like is that if you do not call in advance and you get there on the afternoon or evening you have to wait around half an hour for the receptionist to give you the key, also if you do not have data or roaming in Europe you are stuck to call a phone number that you have no access too. A supermarket is around the corner where you can buy the things you need, really nice.

This hotel is nothing like whats in the pictures. The walls were super dirty, the couch was so old and dirty. One night me and my friends were outside and the neighbors threw a bucket of water from upstairs because supposably we were \"to loud\" and we were only talking. The neighbors also smoked like crazy and threw all their cig butts on our patio. Seriously the worst place I've stayed at. Only good thing about this place was the staff and the 5 minute walk to La Sagrada Familia

Cozy but a little rough. The WiFi was kind of weak, and the hot water for the shower was way too limited for a family apartment to be. Building had a sewer smell as you entered the main entrance. The staff was courteous and very helpful.

Easy Stay in Barcelona

Great experience with Sensation Urban Style Apartments. Easy to work with staff, very simple check-in / out, and good location for ease of access to several key sites (Park Guell, Sagrada Familia Church) either walking, taxi, or metro. Apartment was well kept with all the necessary items for a basic stay (e.g. Wi-Fi, TV, utensils, towels, etc.).

The views from the apartment windows were terrible, just looking onto to local residents apartments, noisy with children, also could hear noise from the residents in the apartments. Much smaller than we had anticipated, looked large on photos not really anywhere to sit with being a family of four, only one small sofa bed. The 2nd bedroom was really just part of the apartment it just had a large sliding door that you closed.

Great location, perfect for families

We decided to stay in an apartment and Sensation Urban Style was our best option. Staff was very attentive and helpful.

The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. There is a supermarket across the building, cafes and restaurants as well.
The internet access was very poor the first day but they fixed it the next day and we didn't have any problem with it the rest of our stay. The second room wasn't a proper room though - more like a box room but it was ok.

I'll definitively recommend it.

Fabulous Apartment!

Fabulous apartment! Very clean and bright, super helpful staff on reception, and only a 10 minute walk to the spectacular Familia Sagrada and Metro station. Handy little supermarket just around the corner for food and other necessities. Would definitely recommend staying here. We could not have been happier.

Family culture - would stay longer next time!

Arrived late and in weekend straight from airport, so expect extra charges to apply... however I was pleasantly surprised when Anna, a most cheerful and friendly reception, took care of everything to get my family in as quickly as possible. We loved the location with easy access to Sagrada Familia and metro station. Would stay longer next time!

Great apartment, not so great view!!

Just back from a 3 night stay in these apartments. Ours was on the 2nd floor and was clean and bright the only downside was the view from our balcony - a children's crèche!!!! However the cute rooftop terrace made up for this. The reception staff both here and at the sister apartments were very friendly and helpful. The location was good only a short walk to the nearest metro station though it was up hill on the way back! I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect experience

This hotel or apartment was just perfect for me and my family, it exceeded our expectations and the the staff went an extra mile anytime we needed them. the location couldn't be better as it was just a walking distance from the famous Sagrada Familia. the area is filled with restaurants and terraces. there's us àlso a metro line right there to take where evere u wanna go. overall this whole experience was a successful story and we will definitely visit the hotel again.

Overall a good apartment to stay. Service of the staff was bad though. We got to there at night at 10pm and no one bothered to inform us that we have to go to different place which was good 15 min walk to pick up the keys. When we called the reception desk they said they were too busy and wont come to deliver the keys and we should come to pick it up from their office.

Clean, friendly and a great location.

Stayed here during August 2013. Had a great time here, apartment for 5 people was well looked after and spotless when we arrived. The location being only 5 minutes from the Sagrada Familla was the main plus point, and with a metro close by it allowed us to travel anywhere in the city easily. Would recommend to anyone, and will hopefully return one day!

Good apartment but in need of a refresh

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the level of cleanliness was good. However, the apartment is now obviously in need of some refurbishment. For example the paint needed refreshing, one of the toilet doors had a broken lock and the electric socket in the kitchen was worryingly damaged. A great location though to explore Barcelona.

L’appartement etait bien agencé et bien meublé. Propre et lumineux grace à son balcon traversant. Tout les articles de toilettes à mis disposition, en plus de liquide vaisselles, lessive et produit lave vaisselle. IIl y a néanmoins quelques petit bémols : évier de la salle de bain bouché dès notre arrivées, porte coulissante d’une chambre bloquée.

連泊におすすめです。キッチン用品も充実しており、洗濯も可能です。
サグラダまでも徒歩県内で、近くにスーパーも沢山あり立地最高です。
チェックイン方法が分かりにくかったのですが、直前の連絡でも担当の方がアパートまで来てくれていました！感謝です。
またスペインに行く際は利用したいです。
