Front desk staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. We stayed for a couple days, having the breakfast option helped us a lot for our early planned excursions. Rooms were always clean whenever we left when we were out. Also the location was walking distance from attractions and the metro. Neighbourhood is safe but a bit noisy at night. Would stay here again when visiting Barcelona again.

An excellent stay in Barcelona! The location couldn’t be better—walking distance to major attractions, great restaurants, and public transportation. What truly made the difference was the staff: incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations and directions. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

This was a perfect spot for a couple exploring Barcelona. The hotel room was 10/10- clean, comfortable, lots of space to unpack, bathroom had all towels and soap/shampoo. The location was perfect and walkable from most major tourist attractions and also the metro station. Was a perfect, no-frills hotel room! Would absolutely stay here again!

The front desk staff were excellent. They were welcoming, helpful and all spoke English. The location is perfect if you want to see the Sagrada Familia as it’s right around the corner. The accommodations were pretty basic and a bit tired but if you’re only there for one night, it’s tolerable. The positives are the front desk staff, the breakfast is wonderful and can’t beat the location for the Sagrada Familia. One more thing, fantastic gem across the street for tapas, Pepetas, an absolute must go there!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to give me detailed directions on how to get to my desired locations. They seamlessly handled storage of my luggage since I had arrived mid-morning and my room wouldn't be ready till mid afternoon. So I settled into the lobby to await the start time when I could meet my scheduled tour and they made certain I was comfortable during that wait time.

Great location minutes away from Sagrada Familia, Metro station and a great selection of dining options. Rooms are small but very comfortable. My flight got in early morning and the Front Desk staff was very gracious about an early check in. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable stay.

Very Spartan Hotel but Clean and Comfortable Enoug

Very strict Covid Protocols with everyone masked and desk staff behind glass. Clean but intentionally lightly equipped hotel. For example No Room safe that I found; No water glasses in room. No Amenities except soap squeeze bottle in the shower and another near sink. Few wall plugs and none convenient to bed. Very thin but comfortable enough mattress. Only two pillows. Well located.

Great value for the price. Very clean, great breakfast at an extremely reasonable price. The hotel is very quiet and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The card-based security system works well. We have already recommended this hotel to a number of friends. While not in the centre of downtown, easy walking distance to the Sagrada Familia and both hop on hop off bus stops which are located there. Easy access to the subway. When travelling, we spend very little time in our room until after dinner. We were very satisfied with Ibis Barcelona Centro.

Very good value

We like this area, near to Sagrada Familia in Eixample--feels more like a neighbourhood than a tourist area. Very good value for a city like Barcelona in our opinion.
Very friendly staff. Keyed access to enter hotel. Room comfortable enough, but basic. Nice shower. No in-room safe, nor fridge. Great breakfast buffet. We paid extra to have it included (rates display on hotels.ca for no breakfast or breakfast included) and we thought it very odd that no one checked on any of our 3 days whether we had paid for it as we went for our food, nor did I see anyone being asked.

I like that the place was in the middle of the city as you can easily go into places. I just don’t seem to get why are not all the toiletries already available in our room upon arrival. We still need to go to the reception and ask for it. Even the bedroom slippers, it was not available or a bathrobe

Great budget hotel

Typical city break hotel, catering for people who need a clean and functional place to rest after long days in the city. Staff were friendly and helpful and room although small, was perfectly adequate for what we needed. Very close to Sagrada Familia and all transport links into the city. If you are looking for luxury and splendour this isn't it but it was great for what we needed. Would definitely stay again.

The staff is incredibly friendly. Breakfast starts at 4 am and last until noon which is so helpful for early birds and those who like to sleep in. The breakfast selection is a good one with many different options. It’s definitely the highlight of this hotel.

There was construction on the street and it was very noisy at night. No kettle provided in the room for hot water. We need to go down to ask for hot water to drink. But the staff are gracious when we request for hot water.

It is close to Sagrada. The staff were excellent! However, the pickpocket problem in Barcelona is VERY REAL. Wife got pickpocketed INSIDE the hotel, which horrified the staff and reminded them of their pickpocket experience. Barcelona has to fix this pickpocket problem. Until they do, we do NOT recommend coming to this city... unless you like being a victim of pickpockets.

Hotel staff were freindly and spoke decent English which made checking in and any enquiries easy. Only a 5/10 min walk from Sagrada Familia and metro. Nice looking room which was clean and well presented. Not a good view out the window but given the amount of time spent in the room it's not a problem for me. Overall decent value for money.

Perfect Location

Just two blocks away from Sagradia Familia (and its metro station and hop on hop off bust stop) which is the main attraction in Barcelona. Also within walking distance from Barcelona Nord bus station which makes it very convenient if one is travelling from Girona airport using Barcelona bus. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood.

Clean and comfortable hotel near the church. It is like a Mcdonlads in the field of hotels. Speedy, convenient and comfortable. The hotel is within three minutes of walk to the Sagrada Familia church, also very close to the Metro station.

We stayed for 5 nights. Two adults and a child. The room storage was not sufficient but the beds were amazingly comfortable. It is centrally located and there are good reasonably priced local restaurants.

Good location, poor services!

The hotel is well placed near the Sagrada Familia, two blocks away from the metro station. Inside the hotel is very clean and cozy. My room was very small, so small that I barely found place to put two cabin size suitcases! I have a room toward the street so it was very noisy in the evening and when it rains sounds like a drum!
The breakfast was not so rich and costs so much money (7,5 euro/day/person) that I don't think that you must buy. It's better and cheaper to eat somewhere else!

Very spacious rooms and far better than most of the Ibis' I have stayed at. Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good value for the 7 euros. The hotel is ideally located to the Sagrada Familia, stations, hop on hop off bus stop and Av Gaudi (lane full of small restaurants). Highly recommended (book in advance to get a better rate!).

Very well located hotel.

This hotels is very clean and close to the sargada familia about 2 minutes away. The metro station is also very close making it perfect to travel around the city. The staff were every helpful and breakfast was really good. All in all I would stay there again and recommend it if your looking for a nice clean hotel with not thrills, with easy connections to all the sights it is the one for you. It is much more of a bussiness style hotel. But most please were tourist in it.

Clean, comfortable and central

A comfortable, clean hotel in a central location. Buffet breakfast is a great way to start the day - good variety. Only problem was that on our arrival they only had 1 room for us, even though we had reserved two. They did offer for one of us to stay in another hotel for the night. Eventually they provided us with a mattress for the 3rd of our party. We were given breakfast for three days for free to compensate for this error.

We stayed from 6th April to 9th April at the Ibis. Fantastic location near the Sagrada Familia, bus tour and metro. Local restaurants and bars. The Ibis is fairly new, the staff are helpful. The hotel is clean and bright, rooms are a decent size, will definately stay there again. Well recommended.

Good Location

The overall rating of the hotel is actually very good except one of the lady at the front desk was not willing to help on 11th Aug. Other than this lady, other staffs were willing to help, especially the young lady when lady when we check in on 8th evening. She gave lot of information on the point of interest which was very helpful for my first visit to Barcelona. The hotel located in excellent location, only few mins walk to reach the Sagrada church. Hotel is clean.
