The all technology approach to checking in and keys was difficult. To top it off after many emails before we arrived, demanding information and payment of the city tax, the night clerk woke us up at 1:30 AM saying we hadn’t paid and he demanded we come downstairs and pay at that moment.

Worse room ever - avoid at all cost!
Triple room @ €200 per night not breakfast and it was like sleeping in the street as you could hear everything as the badly cover a big window with a panel for privacy as otherwise everyone walking by could see you in the room. To make things worse, the room is behind the reception where they have a coffee machine and every time anyone was making a coffee, you could hear the horrendous noise as well as every conversation of anyone going through the reception… 3 nights of barely sleeping! We asked for another room and we were told in the evening “in the end, we couldn’t do it and the best I can do is offer you free ear plugs”. To add injury, the receptionist tried to convince us that it was ok because it was a small hotel, because of the area…blah blah. Manager didn’t get involved either and didn’t contact us at all. Worse experience ever. Don’t risk it!!

This place is wonderful for the price. Clean, safe and very conveniently located. Small room, but you’ll have everything you need! Toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, etc. individual AC unit with a wireless remote control. The window actually opens!!! I’ll come back for sure. Book with time… rooms sell out fast!!

It was a bait and switch. The property looks nothing like the photo on Expedia. There is the check in at a different location a block away. My room was full of flies. I had to request a comforter. When I asked them to order a taxi to go to the airport they only called one company and it wasn’t sending a cab for a long time. I walked out to the street and hailed one. One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in! Rooms were serviceable and had everything we needed. We paid for breakfast everyday in the sister hotel and it was very good - fresh food, buffet style so plenty to keep us going. Very nice fresh orange juice!

The front desk had nobody there most of the time. You will have to cross two street to see their staff in another place. The room is extremely small. Only three single beds and two side table. That's all! no chair, no dresser, no desk, at all! The worst thing is there are a few hotels with exactly the same name in that area. Our taxi driver sent us to a wrong one, causing us to take another taxi to the correct one.

The accommodations was not worth the rate charged. The bed was a metal frame underneath a low level sponge form mattress as in a college dorm. There was no refrigerator, iron, ice and I had no toilet paper for a day. Linen was not changed, bed was just spread with same linen when room service was requested.

The location was great, but the hotel elevator was broken, the bathroom it smells like urine, but terrible, we hadto keep the bathoroom door close all the time. The housekeeper try to take that smell away, but she can't.

The location was perfect, within a 2 minute walk of Sagrada Familia, the room (I had a single room) was modern, very clean and they very kindly provided toiletry items, even down to a toothbrush and razor! I've been in many hotels for city breaks and I can honestly say, this one was outstanding. The staff were all friendly and there is a safe bag drop area whilst you explore after checking out. I'd highly recommend staying at this property and would stay here upon returning to Barcelona!

Definitely love the location. Close to four Metro stations, 5 mins walk to each, one of them is Sagrada Familia. Room is clean, but really small that we had trouble finding a spot for opening our 29-inch suitcase. Due to the size, there is no desk and a bit weird that the handwash sink is in the room but not in the bathroom, which was so low that it was hard for me to splash water to clean face. Luckily, we had a balcony, love it! Over all, it is great for its price.

Good place for solo travellers to Barca for one or two nights- rooms are compact but fine. My room was on 1st floor and found road traffic noise a bit intrusive but dies down after midnight and slept fine- room quiet otherwise. Staff very helpful

hotel in two sections
i was informed on my email when i booked that the check in finished at 23 00pm.this was only applicable to the main part of the hotel where i had to walk to for breakfast.the part i stayed in just down the road i found out the check in finished at 21.00 and i was just fortunate that i arrived there at 21 10pm and there was some body there fortunatly i had to knock on the glass sliding doors.other wise any later i would not have been able to get in.i think you need to check this out with the hotel
