can’t recover this accommodation enough! the staff were extremely nice and helpful and let us do early check in and helped us with things to do nearby .
the hotel is close to everything , only a walk away from the main street with shops and Casa Batllo , a walk away from Sagrada Família and so on … it is perfectly located and very walkable. Loads of cafes ,shops and restaurants nearby too. Amenities wise , the rooms were equipped with basics such as shower gels , toilet roll and towels also a hair dryer and we also had some chocolates in our room in arrival as well as water . Room service is daily but that’s only on request(only have that leave the little note thing on the door ).

A thing i’ve noticed in previous reviews was about there being a lot of noise which isn’t exactly true. Yes ,there is traffic but it’s nothing to do with the hotel , that’s what you get if you get a central accommodation! Also there’s a lift since some mentioned there isn’t one.

Conclusion , absolutely recommend it , no issues at all , perfect hotel if you want to be close to main attractions or if you’re looking for a city accommodation

The room and beds were comfortable, but we found hairs in our bathtub. The perfume from the cleaning products they use is very intense. We had to air out our room. If you are sensitive, please be aware. Otherwise location and price were fine.

The staff was very kind, and the location was perfect for our needs! The room was clean/serviceable, we were always able to get hot water for the shower, and the shared amenities like the free water and refrigerator were helpful. The only con was that it was pretty noisy (no partying, there were just living noises like doors closing loudly, plumbing, etc), so sleeping wasn't the easiest. However, if you're tired enough from full days of exploring Barcelona, you may be able to get around that!

High ceilings & a giant mirror made the room feel much bigger than it actually was - very nice! The fridge in the room was handy & the bathroom had a full sized deep bathtub. We didn’t know that the solarium on the roof would be an additional fee, but it turned out that we didn’t have time to utilize it anyway.

This hotel was very clean and it had a lovely room that went out to a courtyard. We were very pleased with it until our toilet broke. The toilet seat slid off and we were left without any way to use the toilet unless we squatted. I was traveling with my 83-year-old Mother, and that was not a possibility. When it went down and to explained to the woman, he was a young girl working in the front desk. If there was any other solution or a restroom we could use in the whole hotel. She said all the rooms were booked, and there was no other bathroom in the whole hotel. When I kept giving her any solutions, whatever she just kept telling me it was not possible.

Our stay in the Hostal was really nice, the area was excellent to know the city and the staff was polite and friendly. We just have a few suggestions like fixing the handle of the bathroom because it was about to come out and put a bath mat because the wet floor was very slippery after the shower. Beside that, I recommend to stay there. Thank you for your kindness.

Strongly recommend it

The hotel was very clean, easy to find it. The location is great. The staff was so frienfly and helpful. And what was a surprice when the young lady said to us her Mum is works also there and she is Bulgarian like us. So, she helped us very much with guidance, book the attraction bus, the trains and so on.
Next to the hotel there are so many delicious bakery and restaurants.
I love our viewing from the balcony, exactly the same as in the hotel's website.

Beautiful space in a great location!

I had the 4th floor apartment to myself. 5 bedrooms was a bit much for just me but everything about this place was excellent from the staff to the bedding. The location is excellent for being able to walk to nearby restaurants and relatively walkable to a lot of the major tourist spots. I will definitely stay again..with a larger group though if I get the apartment again! 😁

It was difficult to sleep as you could hear each toilet flush, each person walking around, and each door closing. We ended up turning on a white noise machine and that blocked some of it out but we had a hard time even with that. That said, the location is very good and the staff was very friendly!

Small Hostal in lovely area of Barcelona. Room small and basic but comfy bed and clean. Super view from the balcony.
Maid service daily if required. No tea or coffee in room but chilled water and coffee available in small communal area.
Didn’t use sun terrace - was surprised this had a daily charge of 5E per person - I hadn’t read this in any info prior to booking. Loads of lovely restaurants, cafes l, bakeries and supermarkets within metres and a short walk to a few metro stations to give good access to most parts of the city including the airport (direct train to/from Passeig de Gràcia, a 10min walk from the Hostal).

Good for the price point

Great if you are just looking for a place to stay but the rooms are noisy and there is no air conditioning or fan making the room very hot.

Bed was good and the bathroom fine too. For the price point nothing more can be expected. The front desk staff are very polite and helpful

The location was very nice. Walkable to certain attractions and bus/metro station.

They have a barcelona map printed out. And The staff offered and showed us on the map all the attractions and how to go there. That was really nice of her.

They said we have to pay the city tax in cash.

You can leave the luggage there if you arrived before your check-in or after you check-out.

The housekeeping was nice and did a good job. However, I felt that the bed sheets or towels need to be more clean or they are worn- out.

Located in the Eixample area, you're surrounded by historic modernist architecture with two of Gaudi's masterpieces - Casa Batllo and Casa Mila - just a short walk away. This isn't the busy/touristy area like the Gothic Quarter but there are two metro stations closeby will conveniently take you to the Gothic Quarter and other tourist hotspots. Surprisingly good tapas restaurant, Bar But, just over 10 minutes away walking.

The hotel is in a very nice, not terribly touristy neighborhood with great public transportation to the airport and in walking distance to most sights. The room was towards the courtyard and very quiet in this busy neighborhood. Awesome restaurants nearby. Rooms are quite small but very clean and pleasant.

We booked on Orbitz, but they told us they do not work with Orbitz. The property insisted on paying for room with cash. It was a real hassle. So be prepared. Furthermore, we booked here for the luggage storage, but in actuality they just leave your bag in the lobby/ hallway. Otherwise, the room is very clean and centrally located with nice views.

We were in Barcelona just after Christmas, so there were a lot of tourists and the prices were a little inflated. The hotel is still quite new and located in an old redecorated house. They were very creative with the design of the rooms and made the most of the limited space. The very high ceilings and mirrors make the room feel bigger than it actually is. It is all quite tastefully done. There is a small common room/kitchen on the first floor with a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a water fountain. The elevator is very slow, and do was the wi-fi. We stayed for three nights and the room was done after the first night, but not the second one (not that we expected it to be done at all).

The location is great, the hotel is good, only the bathroom is a bit non functional. The sink is too narrow (you can even put a toothbrush on it) and there is no space do hang a soap or a shampoo while you are taking a shower. Despite of that, everything was good.

My boyfriend and I loved the location and look of the hotel. Our room was small, but clean and modern.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to get much sleep. Every toilet flushing, door closing and speaking outside our room and inside others was hearable through our room's walls. It was really frustrating and would not recommend to book :-(

Fantastic service from the receptionist – she was incredibly helpful with parking and gave us great recommendations for places to eat. The location is excellent. The rooms are small but clean and perfectly fine for an overnight stay. We had a balcony facing the street, which really added to the experience. For a reasonable price, I’d definitely stay here again – but probably for no more than 3 days.

La jeune réceptionniste est très sympa.a notre arrivée une poubelle pleine de serviettes hygiéniques sales étaient dedans(je vous épargne la photo),un cafard sec sous le lit,des poils dans les lits...
La propriété est a revoir.
L'autre soucis est la climatisation qui est où a fond ou stop,on ne peut pas la régler..du coup si on arrête on crevé de chaud et si on l'a met il fait 17degres .. obligé d'avoir la clim avec fenêtres ouvertes,quel dommage quand on voit le prix de l'électricité.
370e pour 2 nuits c'est cher quand-même.
Le reste était top.

Un grand merci à Téo qui nous a renseigné avant notre arrivée .
Attention , pas de parking dans l’hôtel: il faut réserver une place à l’avance dans Hun parking privé ( il y en a un à 10 mètres de l’hôtel).
Très bien situé par rapport à la Sagrada et aux Ramblas. Accès bus facile .

Otelin konumu çok güzeldi yürüyerek bir çok yere ulaşabildik yakınlarında 2 tane de metro var. Otelin olduğu cadde de birçok fırın var kahvaltı için iyi bir alternatif.
Yüksek tavan olması çok güzel, çalışanlar cana yakınlar.
Oda temizliği iyiydi, bir gün gelen havlularda bir leke vardı ama onun dışında problem yaşamadık. Çok sıcak da değildi
