Lovely room with a great view. Gorgeoys rooftop bar, again with amazing views. The staff were superb, especially Frederico and Artur (King Artur 😁) on reception. Will definitely stay there again when in Barcelona.

It was really nice to come back from the bustle of the city, to an area that while lively, yoy also felt you could breathe. Fabulous shops abd restaurants nearby and all modes of transport on their doorstep.

This hotel was very nice. Rooftop spectacular! Rooms are very nice. It’s in the financial district so everything immediately around is modern construction. Cool outdoor mall across the street, restaurants and shopping, but not much else in immediate proximity. Metro is right around corner and is really easy to use. Location is slightly further away from Sagrada and old town and beach than I wanted but it was worth it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
We got a deal on the breakfast, which made it great value.
Only criticism would be that it wasn't obviously the roof top bar wouldn't be open. You can bring drinks up from downstairs but would be good to make this clearer in the 'off season'

It’s a fantastic hotel in a great spot. Its location allows you to get anywhere fairly quickly be it by metro bus or tram. The hotel is wonderful with spacious rooms and we had a great view of La Sagrada Família. The staff is great in particular Francisco at the bar. The atmosphere is fantastic and it makes for the perfect spot after a day in Barcelona.

Lovely hotel. It's not central but the areas around were cool. Could walk to the beach in less than 30 mins. Rooftop and pool very small, looked different to photos, wasn't setup for use. Hotel room was lovely and has all amenities. Staff were helpful and lovely. Communal areas didn't seem to have air con it was quite hot. Would stay again though and the downstairs and bar areas were really buzzy and nice

Great location: next to a big Westfield so easy to locate. Near a metro line and tram line. Safe area, quiet.
Clean, room and main areas kept clean, great decor. Bathroom had a damp smell and needed a vent which was odd that it didn’t have one.
Had a Biggie room as three of us were staying so a queen and sofa bed - both relatively comfortable.

Cons
Check in / front desk service was always so poor, huge queues, room wasn’t ready way past check in time. No regulation and lifts were always a delay or issue using -honestly this put a downer on the whole stay.
As mentioned booked for 3 but room wasn’t set up, had to call twice for the sofa bed to bed up properly, 2 cups /glasses / towels provided only - these little details should be taken in consideration for such a high end hotel where you’ve paid a lot of money.

The room itself is fairly basic but the bed was super comfy. The room was really warm and you couldn’t lower the temperature on the air conditioning.
You couldn’t use the pool in the hotel unless you paid €30-70 for a few hours slot. And even when we were going to pay there was no availability which is just a joke. There was no discount offered or free spaces for hotel guests.
The service on the rooftop bar was really slow and took ages to get served yet there seemed to be about 8/9 of the staff just standing chatting. Not what we expected for a 4* hotel.
The bathrooms downstairs may aswell have no lighting at all they’re so dark! I couldn’t see when I went to the loo.
The decor was beautiful and the staff at reception were very helpful. Shame they wherent as helpful on the rooftop bar and that let them down.
Overall the only reason I’d stay here again is the comfy bed.

This hotel is simply excellent. The attention to detail. The variety of options at the restaurant, bar and cafes, and the pool, cocktail bar are fun! Rooms are super comfy, well equipped, and the staff are very nice and welcoming. It’s spendier than some, but worth it. Great location too! Near many options for fun things to see and do.

Lovely stay in Barcelona

This is a stylish hotel. We had a very pleasant day. The rooftop pool and cabanas are lovely. The hotel is located in a more modern part of the city with easy access to a shopping mall. It is a 20 to 40 minute walk from mini of the iconic Barcelona locations. We did not have any trouble walking or using taxis.

The Hoxton team from the moment we arrived was unbelievable. We were accommodated with an early check in and that set the tone for our trip. The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable and ready to make sure our stay was perfect.

We found ourselves nearly every night upstairs at the Tope rooftop enjoying the view and some after dinner drinks. We tried their menu and the food was delicious as well. Same goes for this staff, fast, friendly and handles a busy environment very well. Its mixed with guests of the hotel and locals/other tourists coming to enjoy the view.

The location and the hotel itself is very modern and in such a quiet area. It’s far enough away from the monuments to enjoy some downtime, but close enough to walk. Within 30-45 min you have The Sagrada Família, Arc de Triomf, the Gothic Quarter, or even the beach. There is also a shopping centre with a grocery store just across the street so you can pick up some essentials.

Overall, 5 stars and we’ll most definitely be back when we visit Barcelona again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in Barcelona, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions of my trip. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to public transportation, major attractions like La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, and even the beach just a short walk or metro ride away. It’s the ideal base for exploring everything Barcelona has to offer.

The hotel itself is modern, clean, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and the quality of the amenities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to offer recommendations or assist with anything I needed during my stay.

We had a handicapped bathroom. Not a problem usually. No shelving for toiletries. Very poor. Who thought that up? Visitor's need a spot to put their stuff. Bathroom is large but no place for a toilet paper holder? Terrible planning. No hooks for clothing or towels.

Housekeeping issues

Overall a positive stay and great vibe.

Only issue we had however was noticing that our room was not being cleaned etc.I immediately informed the front desk and was assured that housekeeping would take care of it.

However, despite my request, the room was still not cleaned when I returned later in the day. I followed up again, but the issue remained unresolved throughout my stay. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that prides itself on guest satisfaction.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their housekeeping procedures to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Far from major attractions. If you don't mind being away from city center (which some do) this is the hotel for you. Staff was nice but although we asked for daily cleaning we did not. In the end we just told the desk we wanted cleaning.

The interior design is magnificent! Our room was so clean and room service was very quick. The views are not particularly pretty but the hotel makes up for that with art, plants, and beautiful color schemes.

Looks can be deceiving

Appearances can be deceptive, and unfortunately, this hotel is a case in point. While the décor and ambiance are pleasing, the majority of the staff could benefit from improved customer service training.

Furthermore, my booking process did not mention the unexpectedly high deposit required before room access, despite me be paying in advance.

The location is convenient, with excellent transport links and a good shopping mall nearby.

I can’t believe they call this place a “4-star” hotel. Yes, the location was great, but everything else was a complete letdown. For starters, the bathroom door in our room was ridiculously loud and creaky—I had to call maintenance just to make it bearable. Then the sink and shower drain were so backed up that water kept pooling, which meant another call to maintenance.

On top of all that, the hotel was downright stingy with water, and I had to keep asking for more. Housekeeping also couldn’t seem to get the towels right, so I found myself calling the front desk at least twice to ask for what should’ve been replaced the first time around.

And don’t get me started on the bed. The mattress wasn’t even properly secured to the frame, so every time I tried to sit up against the headboard, the whole thing slid down, leaving a giant gap.

To make matters worse, there was no real closet or even a proper suitcase stand. A “4-star” hotel with nowhere to put my bags? Really? I had to shove everything on the floor in an already cramped space. A decent wardrobe would have solved this problem, but apparently, that’s too much to ask here.

Honestly, I’m still stunned they try to pass this off as a four-star experience. Ridiculous.

Disappointed stay.

We had a few issues with this hotel, the reception staff could not give us any information about the surrounding area what to see or if public transport. One of the bar staff were rude to us so after I asked for a certain drink then tried \"in our view\" to overcharge us.

I really enjoyed my stay! The staff was incredibly helpful. They seemed shortstaffed in the restaurant, so that was a little challenging at times. You could have an espresso and croissant in the morning at the lobby bar, which was handy. The entire design and decor of this hotel is fabulous. It’s very hip and Eclectic. Getting a cab was never a problem. The view from the rooftop bar is amazing and photo worthy. My only disappointment was that the pool is extremely small and you have to reserve or pay for any kind of seating. There was absolutely none available when I was there for five days in September. From my experience, I would say this property really attracts a very young traveler.

Very nice hotel, good location, close to the shopping mall. Close to the tram and metro. We went in November and still just about warm enough to use the pool (if from the UK). Was well lit and safe. Room was nice and the showers were amazing. You had to request room service to make up the room if you wanted new towel or the bed made but overall very nice.
