The room was nice and had a good view but The service wasn’t great. Left my room service tray outside my room and it took 2 days for anyone to collect it. The spa was utterly dreadful- the jacuzzi was cold and the entire place needed to be refurbished. I ended up giving up on it after 10 mins and they refused to reimburse me and told me I could come the next day instead (I decided not to).

The reception staff were helpful and friendly but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Good property at a convenient location, near to the beach and freeway. Ocean view rooms are available. The daily complimentary happy hours are very good with a wide spread of wine and other liquors, food and other snacks. Breakfast needs more variety though, it’s the same every day. Well connected. Taxi’s are parked right outside the hotel which makes it easier for quick in and out.

Excellent service from the staff. The Level had its own reception area and we were made to feel special. Staying at The Level also meant we were entitled to certain benefits such as snacks in their lounge area, the pool and spa which were added bonuses, definitely felt like 5*s. Our (city) view from the room was nice too. The hotel is located in a quieter part of town but not too far from the centre. It’s within walking distance to the Sagrada Familia and there is a shopping centre nearby. I would recommended this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Fabulous hotel with great views.

We felt like royalty from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. The views were incredible in every direction. Snacks and drinks in the lounge always welcome after a long day exploring. We enjoyed our spa visit and the pool was best visited after 5pm. Poblenou has some wonderful places to eat and drink.

What a great moment!!! It was my daughter birthday and we had a fabulous time in the Barcelona Sky Melia.

Check in faultless, hotel foyer spotless, staff professional and courteous and friendly.

The room is great, comfortable, spacious, airy, and bright.
The level experience is on floors 24 and 24, utilising both lounges. I couldn’t be more grateful to receive for personal attentive service and experience for me and family. Thank you so much for the kindness special for Javier and Paola… all staff members!!! Well done for the super time. Highly recommend

The área is very límited and far from everywhere. The floor of the rooms si unconfortable to walk barefoot. The wardrobe withiut doors is not conveniente. It is a very good and Nice hotel but it does not suit my likes.

Power cut on last two days
Suffer from a disability which impacts legs and had to walk 26 floors as lifts were off then eventually they got two lifts working again.
Had to go to spa to dry hair as the floors above 15 had no power all day .
Offered a 50% refund of one night stay which was an utter joke
Could not move room as hotel fully booked
It ruined the last two days of holiday and the apology from hotel was poor

This should be a 2 stars hotel at best.
Terrible hygiene, lack of amenities, old used and harsh towels, stinking room, hallways and elevator, no english speaking staff, reception not answering the phone. And I am sure there are more, truing to forget the horrible experience.

Second stay at this hotel. Good location, great views. Hotel is becoming tired and corners are being cut. Door seals on shower didn’t work, phone in room didn’t work, fridge continually had puddle of water in, reception in The Level not staffed in the morning, standard/ choices for food for ‘aperitif hour’ was much reduced, taxi at end of stay hadn’t been booked as requested. . Nothing major, just a number of minor ones. The coffee was bad, which there is no excuse for at an alleged 5* hotel.

The hotel customer service was good, thou the rooms themselves were left wanting (an example of which was me finding the hanging wardrobe was quite literally in the toilet room (as in opposite) made worse by the fact the wardrobe had no door, we had to move rooms when we found the shower had no pressure or hot water. We were moved to another room where we had the same issue, there was also no drinking water in the room which I would expect from a 5 star hotel, especially during the hot summer months. The pool side drinks are a bit over priced averaging between 12-16 euros for a very sugary cocktail with not a great deal of alcohol in them, the food was underwhelming especial their BBQ burgers which was their most expensive item on the menu. It felt more like a 3 star in the bedrooms.

Wonderful property. I was at a conference at the convention centre and this was very convenient for that. Lovely staff, facilities, amenities and view! If I was staying in Barcelona again I would definitely consider this place. The pool was a little small, but still good for a dip. Great hot tub and steam room. Breakfast was great, as was the daily snack hour (if you stay on \"The Level\"). Fabulous.

The hotel was beautiful and modern. I loved the bellboy Pol, he was so helpful and greeted us every night when we returned for the day. The downside was the lack of amenities. Coming from the states we are spoiled in such a way that we were expecting the simple things such as an ice bucket, garbage can in the actual bedroom and not just the bathroom, an iron and ironing board, and at least (2) each of washcloths, hand towels, and bath towels. I know It may seem like menial things but it’s a part of hospitality.

Pool area is very small, bar and lounge area don't stay open very late. Walls are super thin, you can hear absolutely everything! They do not restock your minibar as you use it. Room service was rude/bad, didn't even get what was ordered. Not very accommodating.

Fantastic staff on the Level reception, nothing was too much when you required their assistance. All food excellent especially breakfast and tapas hour on the Sky bar. Pool area and Spa great. Staff in Spa the best and the massage was again fantastic (aromatherapy one) and continues to be each time I have had one there. The Level room was ok but could do with a proper mirror for make up and dressing. If you want that weekend of treats with the beach and Pobleneu Rambla so close by this hotel will do it for you!

Considering this was a mini break for us being newly-weds, the hotel and amenities were great. Lovely, friendly and welcoming staff. Very quick, easy and helpful check-in with equally as good of a check-out upon leaving the hotel.
Upgrades offered on arrival which we chose one of and the room did not disappoint. Great views of the city, very clean and tidy room and additional extras for guests of 'The Level'.
Foods and drinks on site are great with plenty of local amenities within a short walking distance should you need or want it.
Highly recommend.

Amazing modern, new, sleek facilities. Excellent location in Pobleneu - close to Plagta Bogatell and Las Ramblas de Pobleneu. Great suite for family and lovely breakfast and relaxation area for Level Guests. Highly recommend! Only challenge was checkin -- we had to wait 3 hours. But, they made it up to us with a very late checkout.

The check in while “special” on the top floor was slow as can be. Would have been much easier to check in at the front desk.

The AC didn’t work in the room and around midnight they sent up a very very nice technician to try and fix it. After 3 trips up they finally moved us to another room at 3am. That room had AC at only 1 degree better than the broken AC room. We slept a bit and in the am they gave us a 3pm check out. I told the story of our night at the front desk in the am and they said “sorry about that”

Beautiful hotel, we stayed in a sea view room witch was stunning. The room and bathroom were immaculate, the bed was very comfortable and it did have a lovely sea view. We would definitely stay at the hotel again- the staff were always professional and were all very nice, friendly and helpful. It is a nice 15 min walk to the beach with lots of restaurants and 10 mins by taxi to the main city of Barcelona. Ideal location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to the main city. Although we didn’t really watch much tv it would have been nice to have a choice other than just news channels otherwise a fantastic hotel - highly recommend.

Disappointing and rude staff.

The hotel was fine, but overpriced and I thought that the staff at the front desk weren’t very friendly. I was also told that my breakfast was included so I availed of this twice in my 4 day trip and was then charged for it when I checked out. I tried to explain that it should be included but the guy at the desk wouldn’t even check and refused to listen. So I am disappointed with this. Also my tea and coffee in the room was not refreshed once in my entire stay. Overall disappointed and won’t stay there again.

This hotel is 6 stops on the metro from the city. It is in a great location with 'Problenou Las Ramblas' only a 5 minute walk from the hotel which goes down to the sea. It was definitely worth staying in the 5 star part of the hotel as you get breakfast every day and there is a lounge on the 25th floor that you can use from midday to 10pm which has soft drinks, beer, wine and some spirits free of charge.
The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful with directions. If you do not want to stay in the very busy city, it is a great area to stay in.

We did lots of things including visiting the local seaside, La Rambla, Sagrada Familiar and more.

One thing I’d say is needed is more air conditioning in the hotel dining areas. We struggled to breath it was so hot! It’s a must and ruins the luxury of the hotel. The gym needed it too.

Lots of positives about this hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with good facilities. The “Level” on the 25th floor was great for a glass of Cava and a small snack at almost any time and we loved the 6pm to 7.30 free drinks and tapas at the “Cielos 24” - what a view !! Pool area was also very nice and no problem getting a bed.
We also liked the Poblenou are of Barcelona with its only mini Rambla. Plenty of bars and good restaurants soon need to travel into the busier center.
Slight negatives - the rooms didn’t have the best wardrobe space and were a little “style over substance”. Out of ; lifts only 2 were working which sometimes meant quite a long wait and with so many floors walking isn’t really an option. Overall though I would love to go again.

we arrived at 1 PM and since our room was not ready we declined the offer of using a regular room (since we paid for the upgrade via expedia) however after waiting extra 2 hours to check in at 3 PM, we ended up in the same room we was offered first.
we talked to the manager only to hear that they can convert 2 single beds into a king size, once the hotel staff came with a spandex sheet to put over our 2 single beds we declined.

i'm your member since many years, usually I don't care about comments and ratings and this is hopefully the first and last time I have to do it.

You should also know that when I make my hotel reservations (and I make all Hotels) via expedia. I always get treated like second class and most of the times the rooms are right next to the elevator or in other bad location.

We stayed at Level which is premier room but I would rate at 3 star not 5 star hotel. My diabetic husband's sugar level dropped & I was rushing to get drink with sugar (coke) but No can opener so I rang hotel customer relationship tel no zero but no answer then I rang emergency number , operator answered after a while but coke arrived after 15 minutes which was too late for diabetic patient. Meanwhile operator rang three times but no come. I gave my husband chocolate but for quick sugar drink needed very very quickly. I remained extremely worried. Luckily afterwards my husband was alright. I complained to Manager who was very apologetic and offered dinner in their basic restaurant but we already had our dinner so I asked for Message but they could not because it was sourced outside. Then Manager said she would upgrade room next time we come, so basically keep spending money. Before this episode, ceiling was leaking, fridge was not good with water on the bottom shelf , TV was not working properly. Good thing for room at level is free drink and same snack everyday I.e. If you are drinker . Overall not 5 star with superior room. Room service poor but front desk staff very helpful .
