Very nice hotel. The location was good for me because it is close to the CCIB conference centre, but a bit far from the city centre. 12-15 min walk from the metro. Close to the beach. Not many cafes and restaurants around.

This property is across the street from the beach and walking distance to the metro and the bus stop.

The property offers a breakfast buffet which is decent (we had it twice and ate out twice, price comparison, there was a cheaper restaurant nearby but offered less variety than the buffet).

You can walk to Barceloneta from here (it will take you a bit but its walkable).

The staff were friendly and helpful.

The fitness facility is average.

Good location near beach. Property seems to be divided between old and new but not advertised as so.
One half is old and dated the other is more modern. Had to request room change due to poor standard but did get moved to a better room but even new rooms are average. Could do with a more modern touch including lifts which appear to be from the 1800s.

Nice staff, good location, convenient parking. By far, though, our most expensive lodging and least nice property of our trip around Spain. The property was adequate, just expensive for adequate. A few pieces of gym equipment are broken and there is no way to clean equipment in the room.

There is room to improve not a bad hotel

Nice check in good reception area, room felt a bit dated hard bed. Bed sheets clean but the duvets so thin can't even be called a duvet some nights were really cold. Found a blanket in the wardrobe but it was old and stinky. No bin liners in the bins. Breakfast was ok some pork items not labelled, tiny cups for tea drinkers. Hotel needs a bit of updating

This is not a 4 star hotel. Check in was ok for me but others struggled as although staff pleasant, not enough of them. I was there 4 nights and complementary 2 bottles of water in fridge. Never replenished as that is not policy. Room was warm and I was told that air conditioning will not be switched on till end of April so needed windows opened at nigh with resulting street noise (5th floor). I was initially declined breakfast today even though my booking was B&B. I asked for someone senior who corrected this saying “all good”. There was no apology for the embarrassment.
I will visit Barcelona (a beautiful city) in future but will certainly not be using this hotel

The hotel is right next to the beach, though it was raining when we went there so could not really go to the beach. Its about 5 min walk from the metro station. very convenient location.The hotel itself is very clean and the staff is very friendly.

Chose this hotel for location as I was driving and it has a good underground car park €15 per night close to the beach and 5 minutes walk to Metro station.
Hotel rooms were good, reception staff good but breakfast staff uninterested and a fairly average breakfast for the price.

Refrigerator didn’t work. Meals were good all except dinner on last day, they didn’t bring out any additional pizza after it was gone. Staff took our silverware without asking when we weren’t even finished. Had to get our own water from other empty table as staff did not bring any. One evening we requested additional water, and it could have been toilet water. There were white floaters and a rotten aftertaste.

We loved it here. It was right across the street from the beach. Super nice close to many things. We rented bikes and went all the way down the water front it was so nice. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast has lots of options and an awesome coffee machine.

Location is excellent, right next to the beach and very good connected to the city center. The staff is really hospitable and always at your service.The cleaning is a big problem there, even after a complain it was not properly cleaned. There are no toilet brushes there. For the breakfast was always the same food and bringing new quantities of it lasted for too long.

The staff there were so lovely and friendly and helpful. The bathroom was wonderful with the blowdryer spot built in and big counter top and big shower. The pumps on the walls are eco friendly so less waste. And the mini fridge was wonderful to have. Had the best solo stay I’ve ever had to far! Deff want to come back here :)

The hotel is a in decent location, short walk from the beach and not far away from metro station. Big common areas, lovely breakfast, and a good size bathrooms.

The one big negative, and we honestly don't unserstand how 4* hotel could neglect this to such extent, is black mould all over windows and the outside facing wall. Not something that grew there overnight. As much we can appreciate condensation and humidity in January is high, this possess health issues and the cleaners can deal with it when they attend to clean the rooms. The only thing to know is that rooms are on a smaller size with no wardrobe and the bed advertised as queen is a double bed and is shorter than regular beds. The mattress was comfortable to sleep on though.

There was no heating in my room in cold weather

The property is located in front of the beach with a nice view and walking distance to beach. I visited in january in cold weather and the centralize heating was not working . I had to spend the night in cold. The hotel only has 1st floor . there are no higher floors available .A little far from the centre of the city . But overall a clean hotel in affordable price at a nice beach location.

Staff were excellent, I requested a room furthest from lifts/entrances and they gave me the one right at end of corridor. Also efficiently sorted a minor issue with the room safe being left locked open by a previous guest.
Let down by the poor quality of the building, walls are paper thin and you hear everything in next room and external noise from traffic etc.

Clean quiet hotel - not perfect

This hotel is not fancy but it is quiet and the bed and linens are comfortable, which means you will sleep well. Sleep is the most important feature of a hotel in my opinion. I don't care very much about amenities and this hotel has few. The breakfast is very good and the staff was friendly. My only complaints were that housekeeping did not replace used glassware or coffee during my entire 8 days of stay. Room service also was not good. The phone in my room did not work so I also had to go to the front desk to order room service. The food was mediocre and the staff left the dirty tray in my room for two days. They even cleaned the room but left the tray. I asked to have it picked up but no one came. I finally had to take the tray down to the front desk. They said they would fix the phone but it was not fixed. If I had not wanted room service it would not have matter much, but it is a potential safety hazard.

Staff need to learn how to smile and be pleasant.

When you ring reception you really find it difficult to hear what they are saying and have to ask for them to shout. They are not at all helpful and when we ordered room service I queried where our order was only to be told that we had to ring another number. When we did ring that number we were put on hold with music playing. This music never ended and when we put receiver down and picked it up again the music was still there and we could not dial out. I had to go down to reception and I just got excuse after excuse. There was no attempt to sort out the problem even though it was obvious I was feelng angry. I went to the bar area and there was no staff there either.
I had a problem with my charger for phone not working and wanted to print out boarding passes. The computers are very old and even the staff had problems using them.
However I finally got a lovely young gentleman calles Max who perservered until he got my boarding passes print even though it did take one and a half hours. This was not his fault but your systems fault
One night we were rather late returning to the hotel and the man at the desk was looking down counter and we were banging on the door for five minutes. When we got in he very rudely told us you need to bang hard on the button to get in!
You really do need to sort out your customer care. The staff are there to help clients and make them feel relaxed not like they are an inconvenience.

Desk staff are all very helpful and generally lovely. Breakfast was good and I had a very nice squid dish on the one evening I ate in the restaurant. On the negative side, the gym should be open 24 hours and there should be sockets available to charge phones etc in the rooms.

I had a terrible check-in experience with a staff member; however, when I notified management, the issue was immediately resolved. From that point in, service improved (after a long flight, no traveler should met with a snarky and rude staff member).
The hotel itself is fine-not great, not terrible, rather it’s basic. There is no shuttle or any type of transportation to or from the airport. It’s across from the beautiful beach, but the beach is very crowded and there are not beachside amenities like towel or beach chair service (you’ll need to leave a $10 deposit for each towel you borrow to take to the beach). While I didn’t hate my stay, I would not come back to this hotel, nor would I recommend it.

They offer a ocean view room where you can find is a first floor room with a little bigger windows to the bottom plenty of trees outside where maybe you can see the sea looking at the top corner of the windows. Very disappointed, bed is to hard. When I check out two days before than expected no body move a single finger to try to remediate the situation also I had pay it the parking a side I they did not refund the money.

Reno'd in 2015 but already deferred maintenance issues. Far from airport. Some rooms are small. No us outlets or adapters available. No sundries store. Couldn't control AC. Was off apparently. Got cold in room. 1000 meter walk to beach over highway bridge nearby. No clothes iron.

The hotel service and staff was absolutely rubbish. We had to complain 4 times about our room not being cleaner and sheets not being changed. The reception staff just told us that they would pass on the message to the main and nothing else was done about it at all...the maid didn't come and the room remained unclean and bath full of dust.

Nothing unique. Found the hotel rather dated in the rooms and not if a very high standard. Not to have a wardrobe in the room is something I have not experienced before. There was no wardrobe as the room was definitely a single and should not have been sold as a double. Very disappointing

I’ve stayed in a number of hotels in Barcelona at the same time of the year over the years and was quite disappointed. The breakfast was mediocre, the staff were very absent and not attentive, the air con didn’t work in my room and the sockets were either coming out of the wall or not working by the desk. When my colleague requested an iron, no ironing was provided. Good coffee though.
