A huge shoutout to the receptionists at Acta Voraport, they all went beyond! Breakfast buffet is amazing- definitely worth buying if you are staying there. The location is walkable to the beach super easy but otherwise about 45 min walk to the center shops/restaurants. It worked for us as we like walking and wanted a quiet place to get over jet lag, but there isn’t much right around there as far as shops etc…

Room was very clean. They gave us a room with the view, a bit boxy but airy and clean. Staff was very proactive. I am not a big breakfast eater, it’s mostly coffee for me and they had Nespresso machines everywhere which was a delight. Another best thing was that they had bag lockers for free. So I checked out at 12 but left my luggage in the locker and then came back later to pick it up. They provide you with an access card. That was very thoughtful I’d say. Overall stay was excellent.

The neighbourhood is very peaceful. The staff are extremely friendly. Check-in time was at 3PM, we arrived at 9AM, and they provided lockers for us to leave our luggage and a keypass to go in and out of the hotel and access to the terrace while we wait for check-in. Definitely recommend!

Also, the main glass door is closed and when i first arrived i had to actually knock on the door after 5 minutes and the employees were all helping on person and were not paying attention at all. I could not get a taxi called for me, the food was horrible, the elevators are split between multiple businesses, so more than once I waited and waited for the elevator. Honestly, its a crappy wanna be Los Angeles Miami style \"cool Eco hotel\" and its honestly a bad overpriced motel.

Amazing hotel. I was a little nervous walking there from the Metro, as the neighborhood is a bit random and outside the main tourist area. But the hotel itself is fantastic, the staff was great, and the room was so nice and clean. Only complaint is the location. If you're going to do a lot of the main tourist stuff, it's a solid 45 minute walk or 20 minute Metro ride to get there. I did this multiple times a day, and it got tiring. But if that's not an issue for you, the hotel is top notch!

After staying at 11hotels in 12 days it was nice to be able to stay there for 3 consecutive nights. My only gripe was the windows didn’t really open (2in max). The breakfast was great and I highly recommended adding that. The staff was 10/10. Walking distance to lots of cool restaurants and shops.

We didn’t eat breakfast or use the downstairs bar in the restaurant as it was subterranean which seemed a shame when in Barcelona so we either ventured out to the beach for breakfast, up to the roof for a drink or across to the Paxton bar which was great too.

The rooftop pool and snack bar was comfortable but cozy with a larger sunning area and a great view of the city and sea. Free yoga class was great at sunrise. Breakfast was one of the best free breakfasts we have ever had with a wide choice of items.

The walks were a fun way to feel the charm of the city. The rooftop patio at Acta Voraport had amazing views of the city... coffee in the bottom level restaurant was a wonderful way to start the day on our walking tours of the city. The staff was helpful and kind.

Their service is good. Although they have provided a kettle (subject for availability) as per my request, it could have been better if there is already one in the room (same as other hotels). Ive rated the service 4 because when I checked in, the staff took my credit card so they could charge me if something say is damaged. I clarified this with Joel when we checked out, ie. If they will check our room, but he said no need. They will charge me say for breakfast (not covered by our reservation). Surprise explanation from the staff when we checked in.

The hotel itself was very nice. The bar and view on top the roof is worth staying here, overlooking the city and ocean. We stayed in numerous hotels on our trip and the breakfast here is the best. The housekeeping staff was very nice. Some of the reception staff was cold to us a few times when we asked for help. The hotel is about a $15 taxi to Las Ramblas. There were lots of food options near by.

Me and my daughter had a 4 night stay here recently and I was very impressed. Sometimes you look at images of hotels and they don’t live up to expectations in real life, however this far exceeded them.
Staff were very friendly and helpful when needed, the rooms were clean and modern. My main wants from a hotel is a comfy bed, a decent powerful shower and good air conditioning, and this rocked all those boxes. The bed was more comfy than my one at home! The AC could be a little more powerful, but it does do the job.
We had breakfast one day in the hotel and the choice was very good, but as we are not big breakfast eaters we didn’t pay for it everyday.
The other factors I based my decision to stay here on was proximity to a metro station and beach - the metro station Llacuna is about 6-7 min walk at most, and the beach within 15.
The area is more suburban and not as nice as the city but it feels safe and there are shops and supermarkets around.
The rooftop terrace and pool is a stand out feature - I was blown away by this. At night the bar and terrace is so lovely with great views over the city, including the Sagrada Familia, which I could actually see from our bedroom window.
The pool is lovely, with uninterrupted views out over the sea.
We will be returning to Barcelona as it’s our favourite city, and I’d love to stay here again, for the price it’s exceptional.

Cannot fault our stay at Hotel Acta Vortaport between 16-20th July. Initially we were unsure whether it would fit all of my mothers mobility needs - but the hotel has multiple lifts, walk in showers in the rooms and a service lift meaning she could easily get up to the terrace. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in each encounter and we cannot thank them enough! The rooms were slightly on the small side but very clean. The breakfast was excellent, always well stocked and a lot of choice! Really would recommend!!!

Had an excellent stay at the hotel. Loved the room, the breakfast, the rooftop pool with it's amazing views and it's location - look forward to my next visit. If there were any improvements it would be the lift availability - one was always locked and the others were usually full when they arrived. Also it is right by the beach so somewhere where you could hang wet towels and swimwear would have made it even more perfect. Highly recommended

Couple of nights before we caught the train to Huesca to see our daughter. Poblenou is a great area . The hotel was easy to find and the rooftop bar and pool are brilliant!!
