Start with the location which was very bad
No access to any transportation if you would like to take the bus the nearest station is 35 min walk and the road is very dangerous
When asked the stuff they were not helpful at all
The room it self looks like cheap motel
The rooms has a view of the high way which was very weird
And when I asked to cut my stay the hotel insisted not give the rest of my money back

They have the most awesome roll down metal covers on the outside of the window to keep the highway traffic noise out. They are a little hard to communicate with. We had good pasta for supper but couldn't get a simple side salad. There are no English channels on the TV. AC worked fine, hairdryer in bathroom did not. Bed was hard as a rock & hardly slept. Elevator fits 4 adults & maybe a bag. This place is really far out of town & taxi cost $50.

I liked that the staff were very helpful and accomodating. However my room needed airing out. If they can also ensure that there is tissue in their rooms, and perhaps toilet brushes. The rooms are cleaned frequently which was very nice. Again staff exceptional

The hotel is great, the staff lovely and I enjoyed my stay.
It's very very difficult to get from here to Barcelona without a car, Google maps lies, the 25 min walk is not possible as it's down a highway ramp.

The property is 30 mins drive from Barcelona center. Don’t opt if you don’t drive. Rooms are super outdated and the AC don’t work , good luck if you are there is summer months. Good thing is it has an underground parking and shopping mall which walkable if you have grab something to eat/drink. Staff was nice and check in experience was good.

I had the room for two night, first night the air conditioner was not working and the room was super hot! I told the receptionist the morning after and he said it will be fixed. At night when we get to the room it was the same, the kids were asleep already and the room was HOT!!!
The room also was very noisy from the highway.

Ok for the money.

Hotel is tired and a little shabby. Staff friendly, breakfast good value for money, had 1 evening meal, and again, good value.
Rooms, again in nred of a freshen up. Mattress lumpy and uncomfortable and only 1 worn out pillow each. Location is remote and a 20-30€ taxi ride to most places. Would use again for a short stay.

1. This property is in a small town away from Barcelona city where are all the major attractions are. Airport is at the other end and incurred 75 euros each way of commute. Getting to city and back caused additional expenses. This hotel should not be listed under Barcelona city hotels.
2. We visited in the last week of August where it was so hot. The a/c was not effective though it was running. There were many families with small children complaining about the temperature in the hotel.
3. The wi-fi did not work. They said I-phones need special options. We tried all options and we could not get wi-fi to work on any one of our phones. For this reason, we had to go to a restaurant outside to make online reservations to attractions.
4. Bath tub is so high and you really need a step stool to get in and out. Otherwise, there is a fall hazard especially for pregnant women and seniors.
5. There were ants in the room all over.

I would not stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is one of the oldest campanile hotels in Europe and it needs some renovation. But as in all campanile hotels the food was good, the bathrooms clean, and the staff was very helpful. It is far away from Barcelona which I didn’t realize when I booked it. Fortunately we had a car and free parking. Overall my stay was good for the price.

They gave us a room with connecting doors . In the room attached they had a big dog barking at 0300 am .
On top t’he room did not look like a hotel room at all . It looked like the cheapest motel room ever . Not pleasant whatsoever.They changed our room to the 4 th floor with no air conditioning. Looked pretty bad too. Horrible experience. Expedia should not sell in this property.I believe this was the worst experience with Expedia I ever had.

The room felt dated, but the biggest issue wss the balcony/corridor. The next room insisted on making his telephone calls at high volume right outside my window, even drowned out the traffic!
I ate at the hotel, but would not again, i could not recommend it. But it was clean, functional, and a bed forbthe night, so OK.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast offering. Clean and comfortable but a bit strong on the cleaning chemical smell in the room. Location is noisy as is in the middle of confluence of major roads. Is not close to public transport and if you don’t have your own vehicle is very difficult to cross all the roads surrounding the hotel to get to the nearest train station.

Overnight staff. Specifically the tall bald guy, he is rude and oversteps his boundaries when having a conversation with my friend and I. I called the hotel to ask if they can send a regular Barcelona taxi to a train station to pick us up and he claimed to call and reserve a taxi but turns out he did not make any reservation for us and made us wait 30 minutes past midnight. I ended up calling our own taxi.
Hotel is TOO dark at night. No lights in hallways. To get to your room, you have to open your phone light to see the hallway.

clean bathroom and bed but front desk was very argumentative on fees on the second check in or expedia was wrong on the cost per booking per room - verified with expedia prior to stay but states OK for 2 guests per room but hotel wanted to charge the second guest 20 euros per night as expedia print out states one adult booking .. but the first stay/check in days prior was no problem and problem was in the 2nd check in ...however , their final decision - they didnt charge the 2nd guest . hotel was also very far from the airport -has to pay 70 Euros for one way taxi per our barcelona guide ;.its out of barcelona !!!! but expedia states its close to the airport .its not ......even without traffic ... still far ... but cost per room was cheap .

Hotel is about 20mins away from city centre by train, first night we arrived late and had no food everything was closed, staff surprising made us all sandwich and fruit and snacks extremely generous and so happy i chose this hotel. A shopping centre literally oppositie hotel 30secs away with resturant inside brilliant hotel made holiday great. THANKYOU FOR FOOD OSCAR!

Don't stay here to travel to downtown Barcelona

This hotel is not suitable for anyone going into downtown Barcelona. You have to take a bus to get to the train station (no buses run on Sunday and holidays) Taxis are almost non existent especially Sundays and holidays. It is 10 Euros from hotel to train station. You cannot walk to train station as you have to cross a freeway, you have to take a taxi or bus to get anywhere. I was stranded twice and almost in tears until a good Samaritan who spoke English helped me. The hotel room was so hot I could not sleep and they said they don't turn the air con on until June. I asked for a fan, also non-existent. I would never stay there again and will tell anyone I know not to as well.

the hotel suppose to be 4 star hotel, which I rate it as 2 star hotel, staff are not friendly and they can not solve any issue, internet was to slow and I had o make a cup of coffee to get a webpage open, some times the internet didn't work and the staff were not happy to answer my request, as they response that the internet is free and that it.
there is no fridge in the rooms and the bathroom had a lack of soap. the price they charge is the 4 star hotel price and the service is for 2 star hotel. the breakfast is terrible, I went down in the morning and there were always something missing, and when we requested anything such as bread, yogurt or anything that are main for breakfast, their response were we haven't got anymore it run out earlier.

DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU!!!

We booked the Campanile hotel near the airport for our last night in Barcelona. When I was doing my search, I picked only hotels near the airport, and this place came out,(supposedly less than 1 mile from the airport). No doubt they hotel staff switched our reservation for the one located outside Barcelona (some kind of refugee for Russians). We ended up been 70 euros away from the airport in taxi, not to mention there is nothing to do around there except Baricentro mall. The sheets were dusty and the WiFi didn't work at all. In order to access to the center in Public transportation we had to take a bus, and then a train, so we decided to stay in. Our last day in Barcelona turned into a nightmare. We went to bed at 7.30 pm to kill time. DO NOT LET THEM FOOL YOU!!
BTW they should get a decent Christmas tree next year (see picture)

The hotel was fine. It is the second time I have stayed there and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is some distance away from the centre of Barcelona but was ideal for where I was going to have my meeting. The Wi-fi is good and there is a shopping mall very close to the hotel.

It was good normal hotel in 20 minutes away from Barcelona and around 40 minutes from beach. If you want to go there I strongly recommend to hire a car . We hired a car and it was fab. Rooms was clean but other facilities like breakfast and lunch was so poor. We didn't like their meals at all .
