Very clean room, helpful and pleasant staff, near the tram and bus stops, quiet area.
Not so many facilities in the room, just basics, they could have a few more options for breakfast (good price though with 10€ per person).
If you don't find a place to stay in Venice Centre I would strongly recommended it.

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is very close to tran station for a 10 minute ride on the T1 to Venice. Easy to get to places.

The room was cramped. The shower leaked and was tiny. We asked for reservations at their restaurant, they did not make the reservation, so we had to sit outside. It was cold and windy. There was a carnival a few blocks away and the noise was bad inside the room. The receptionist gave us bad information about boarding the train. Thankfully, we didn't follow his advice. The hotel was convenient to the tram into Venice and train station.

Alex, the front desk worker, went above and beyond to explain using the Tram into Venice. He helped plan our two days in Venice with detailed directions and maps! He even booked our boat trip to Murano, Torcello, and Burano. We would HIGHLY recommend this place! Breakfast was great too.

The check in host was extremely rude. We know we had to wait till 3pm to check in before we arrived but he was still extremely rude when we arrived early to drop off our bags. Our flight landed at 9am so we were tired and was tough to wait till 3pm to check in. He purposely ignored us and tried to start an argument when we asked about checking in early. He told us angrily “you have the information” just no empathy or good customer service. Then when we used the restroom as we were waiting for the room the cleaning woman yelled at me in Italian to close the door or something. The staff was Just not welcoming at all. Once in the room the a/c was very slow. The fan was broken so it didn’t blow much. Barely cooled. It had one speed and took forever to cool. The fridge leaked and also didn’t get cold. The tv had an antenna only. It only had what looked like local channels and had no HDMI port so we couldn’t even plug in a fire stick or anything. The WiFi was extremely slow and kept disconnecting. The “full” size bed was essentially a twin and maybe a single pushed together. It was very low to the ground and the seem between the mattress was uncomfortable. The mattress was not long enough and our legs hung off the end of the bed. We are both under 6 feet tall. The bathroom was nice but the room was so small that our luggage didn’t really fit. They had to remain standing up in the corner and we had to move them around when we left the room. There was a rotary phone in the room.

Would absolutely stay here again

The staff was very helpful. They let us store our luggage in a storage room until we were able to check in (early arrival). They gave good information with transportation options . They were very accommodating with breakfast as we also had an early flight.

Little hidden gem

The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable. The location was perfect from transportation. The staff helped with directions and where to go for meals. I highly recommend this place. I highly recommend to get the breakfast. It had everything you might want . Whether you need a big breakfast or just some café to get your day started.

This is one of the best hotels we ever stayed. Alex, the front desk guy, was super helpful and professional. He booked taxi, trips around Venice for us, and gave valuable advices to protect ourselves. His mother runs the included breakfast flawlessly with fresh fruit and pastry, never allowed any item to run empty. The rooms (4 for 8 of us) were spotless and roomy. The location is central, close to an excellent restaurant with great food (I loved the seafood spaghetti ) and surprisingly low priced compared to the USA. Love every thing about this hotel. Bus is a short walk from the hotel. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

Room smels because of unclean air condition.
We found a dirty sock as we open the window.
TV was broken a little - weird strips on the screen.

Trough the glass of coffe you can see Venetian arsenal (from the hotel).

Staff is very kind, always greet first and helpful. Speak good english. Parking lot was nice (according our SUV car). TV with HDMI and android system. Internet was stable. Towels and bed was clean, in the room is antimosquito electric device.

We really enjoyed our two nights here! The price was very reasonable for the room. The shower was small by north american standards but the bed was awesome. We were in a \"double\" and it comfortably fit 2 people. Room was clean, the street and hotel were both very quiet. If you enjoy pastries or espresso I strongly recommend the breakfast, was totally worth it!

The gentleman who worked in the evening was very nice, but the man who worked the desk during the day was unbelievably rude. We had exchanged messages prior to our arrival to confirm that we could store our belongings prior to check in. When we arrived he answered the door and greeted us with \"What?\". Not hello, not how can I help you?... Just a loud \"What?\". He was also one of those men who was much politer to my male partner than he was to me, which we both noticed. Honestly don't know how this guy is in hospitality. The room itself was okay, but not great. And the area the hotel was in was nothing to write home about. There is a grocery nearby, but not much else. It is close to the tram to Venice, so convenient for that. I had stayed in Mestre once before many years ago and had a much nicer experience. Will not be returning to della rose and would not recommend.

We stayed July 14-16, the property is located close to a restaurant, supermarket, 2 bars, and a walking distance to a Tram that takes you to Venice Centre. Alex gave us some tips on how to maximize our stay in Venice, and how to get to Venice and back.
The property is not big but clean, AC works well which is important during Italian summers as it gets really hot.

I will book this place again when we come back

Short but memorable stay

We came in late and left early but Delle Rose left a good impression on us. The breakfast was very good and we were especially pleased to have several vegetarian options including gelatin-free yogurt. We stayed in a quad-occupancy room...everything was tight including the shower but I imagine in a region so busy, square footage is a luxury, so for a short stay, no complaints. The staff were also very responsive and helpful, so with all of this in mind, I would recommend the hotel.

Best staff ever. Basically mapped out my route for me as a suggestion so I can maximize my short trip. They also advise you on which public transportation cards would be best and how to get back and forth from the hotel to main Venezia.. it’s a short 4 minutes walk to the tram and tickets are at a nearby tobacco shop 1 minute from that tram stop. A restaurant, bar and grocery store is also within a 5 minute walk distance from the hotel which is incredibly convenient. Only tip is they are serious about their siesta culture and everything in mainland except for trams that come every 10 mins and buses will close from 12:30pm to about 3-4pm.
Hotel rooms were clean and the AC works well.. especially important in the hot summer months.

Alex and all the staff ( including his mom) were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is quickly evident that they take pride in caring for their place and will do anything to help you enjoy staying with them. The location is excellent! An inexpensive 15 minute tram ride that puts you into the heart of Venice is a block away. Thank you for a great stay Alex!

This B&B was on the mainland and well connected to the island via streetcar/tram. Would recommend leaving early to reach the train station or book a taxi ahead of time. The trams can be very packed and it may not be possible to get on with luggage from the hotel location.

The hotel itself was very cozy and the room/property was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and room had air conditioning. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. Just the placement of the toilet was a bit tight. But otherwise we loved our stay here.

The staff was courteous and respectful. We happened to reach the hotel way before check in time and it so happened that our room was cleaned and ready for us. We were able to check-in early as well. Really appreciated some downtime before we started exploring Venice.

Convenient for Venice but with a tiny shower.

Checked in early and although our room was not ready we were able to leave our cases and venture out. Reception was very helpful explaining trams and routes to follow in Venice. Hotel is handy for the tram service, which is great takes approx 10/15 minutes and costs €1.50 each way. Hotel is clean but could do with a little TLC. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet, with plenty of choice. Even had a selection of Gluten Free (had to ask but they were happy to supply) which was appreciated. The only real downside for us was the size of the shower, which was very small. We're both average build but neither of us found the shower big enough to be comfortable.

Wonderful small hotel in a very quiet neighborhood. Easy transportation to Venice and the airport. They have their own restaurant nearby, which was good. Breakfast was very plentiful. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was fine and fitted our requirements. Very clean room and hotel. Room had a fridge which was useful.

Shower was fitted the wrong side of the bath which meant there was not a lot of room and water went everywhere.

5 minute walk to the tram, shop near the tram sells tickets, 5 stops from the heart of venice. Glad we stayed out of the way a bit. The amount of tourists we saw wheeling suitcases up and down stairs trying to find their accomodation.

This was our first experience in Italy, I booked this hotel last minute bc I have a rental car and we don't know where we will end up Alex was really nice we stayed only one day and one night so we arrived early trying to go to venize since parking here is €6 a day, he was above and beyond with us and told us how easy was to get by Tram to venize its so close from the hotel, the rooms are spacious have hot water and private toilett which is a plus!!! I do recommend it!

Perfect for our stay. Quick and easy links to Venice. Hotel was fantastic and the service was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and everyone was very welcoming. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. The neighbourhood seemed safe even at night. Our rooms were cleaned every day without fail. Great stay in Mestre

Really lovely stay with Hotel Delle Rose! We stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect. Relaxing, the hospitality is excellent and we were made to feel welcomed every time we came through the door. The people working there are so friendly and happy to help, they work hard as the (very tasty) the family has opened down the road has the same people working for it. Couldn't recommend this enough if you're looking for a visit to Mestre and Venice! Thanks :)

Room and bath small but all clean,extra blankets n pillows,towels as needed..great buffet bfast and gluten free choices,fresh fruit and eggs....perfect10 block walk to town square and on same road as tram to Venice island...help with itinerary for Venice was very appreciated from Valentina! Would stay here and go to Venice each day..so easy! We had rsv in murano.....took the ferry to most of the islands during a weeks stay...

Great find. Bus stop round the corner 10 minutes to Venice. Room on the small side (which we expected) but perfectly adequate and comfy with plenty of hanging space etc. Great air conditioning. Breakfast good and promptly re-stocked when necessary. Helpful reception staff, printing boarding passes, advice and so on. A small bar behind reception which also does tea and coffee was most welcome as there are no facilities in the room. Would definitely stay again.

Last minute booking to see Venice. Hotel staff were very helpful in letting us know how to get around on the public transport and suggesting an excellent restaurant a short walk from the hotel. Very good breakfast buffet and clean, updated rooms. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel isn't too far from the main bus stop, which makes it easier for travelers.

The receptionist seemed either absent-minded or having to think deeply about the processes for check-in.

Again the toilet bowl was fixed to have very little legroom for a process that's supposed to be comfortable. The shower also has a soap dish installed midway that makes it impossible to stand straight and enjoy your bath.

Excellent facilities, helpful, friendly and informative staff that also spoke English. Upon arrival we were given maps and directions to various public transportation stops as well as suggested routes to make the best use of time in Venice (a 10 min tram ride). This location was far less expensive then staying in Venice and avoided dragging luggage up and down the bridges in Venice to get to a hotel. The trams ran till after midnight so staying in Venice till late and still getting back to the hotel was a breeze. Breakfast was free and included a wide selection of food. Our rooms were clean with comfortable beds and included a mini fridge as well as a shower that was twice the size of the one we had in Rome. Overall a great location, facilities and staff.
The only draw back is from the main train terminal in Mestre the local bus to the hotel was a bit confusing to locate and crowded.
