While the check-in was smooth and the receptionist was very polite, the check-out was atrocious. Room size was good with all ameneties, but lacking tea/coffee bags/pods even though kettle was present. Regards eco-frendiliness, the door-key card when removed from the slot cut off the lights it did not cut off the a/cs which is not eco-friendly at all. The most irritating was the checkout. I was at the reception for check-out and the staff was on the phone. Once he finished the call I told him I would like to pay and checkout quickly as my train time is due He said ok. Just then a lady walked in and he turned to her. She also had to check-out. The bank rejected the transaction and she started calling her bank. I told him to close my case as she is speaking to the bank. He insisted on waiting till she finished and had another go at the payment which was also refused. Again I told him she will take time please let me go. He again refused. Meanwhile they tried again and failed again . This time I got a little upset and insisted he do my transaction which went ahead in the first go. I then requested him to book a cab for me. He gave me the number n said do it yourself. When he refused, I dialled the number and gave to him as I cant speak Italian. He refused to take my phone and dialled some number by his phone. Suddenly he cut the phone as the lady wanted to try again. We got another taxi. I have never complained, but this kind of behavior is atrocious. Will never stay in this hote

What a stunning location! A gorgeous hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. A good selection at breakfast and a very comfortable night sleep. My room had a lovely terrace. Very nicely decorated room and a very luxurious shower.
Use the stairs, the lift is too slow.

Amazingly comfortable and right in the centre of town. You can take a bus into Venice from the tram stop 5 minutes away from the hotel. Only feedback, there is no coffeeshop open early in the area. Hotel could give customers access to the coffee machine :)
Other than that... we'll definitely go back and i highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our one night stay. The check-in was easy and quick, our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was perfect, the beds - we found very comfortable. Hotel Vivit was a great choice for our large family. We booked the Loft, which was amazing! Enough room for everyone, delicious breakfast and gracious staff! We enjoyed Mestre and exploring the piazza and local shopping. Just a quick overnight before a cruise, but we would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel is an easy 10/10. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Spacious rooms and very clean. Located in the picturesque Piazza Ferretto; lots of options for food and drinks, plus great for just walking. A five-minute walk to the tram for Venezia. Will definitely stay at Sl Vivit again.

This joint is right on a beautiful promenade full of shopping and strolling down to the bus depot where you will be in Venice city in 20 minute for pennies. Surprisingly enough you won’t fond a better breakfast anywhere. Fresh variety, working auto cappuccino machines, pastry, eggs, breads and delicious jams.Get it!

The only thing I didn’t like is there are no parking spaces for your car. You have to walk about 5 minutes from the parking garage to the hotel.

Very convenient to transportation into Venice. The shuttle to and from the airport costs a fee but is extremely good. Excellent breakfast. Only complaint was that the air conditioning in our room wasn't working well but we were so tired we hardly noticed. Due to poor connection, we missed our initial flight and arrived a day late and exhausted. Had we stayed 2 nights as planned, we would have asked them to fix the air conditioning.

Property is clean and well maintained. We took the 2nd floor suite that was airy and bright. Staff were as friendly as they come. They were very kind to accept our extended checkout requests due to our late eveningflight. Breakfast was standard continental with a selection of local delicatessen.

Good dining options near by like dapino mestre, fratelli la bufala is right behind the hotel. Overall a very good experience.

Staff was welcoming especially the lady in the reception. I didn’t get her name. Ended up getting a room facing the courtyard which had a great view and plenty of coffee, eating and shopping options. The breakfast was not bad for being included in the price. Plenty of bread, sweet and regular bread options available. Fresh fruit, yogurt options plentiful. As far as eggs go the only options were hard or soft boiled.

Very good welcoming, friendly, efficient yet professional customer service at check-in and all areas throughout the hotel. Was given a very comfortable room with large bed. Plenty of storage. Very clean room and en suite. Room was serviced every day to a very high standard. Our safety with covid restrictions were in place. Staff ensure that enough social distance between tables for breakfast. Also ensuring that social distance is maintained whilst quing for breakfast buffet. Breakfast selection was very good. Loved especially their freshly prepared fruit salad each morning. Loved being able to have breakfast outside on the roof terrace. Hope to return to this hotel soon again and have no hesitation in highly recommending to my friends.

We were quite disappointed as we had been in touch the hotel to reserve an upgrade which had been confirmed and reserved by email . When we arrived the receptionist had no record of it and apologised as the suite was no longer available . Our room was still very nice but like I said we were disappointed to not get our upgrade as agreed . Breakfast was enjoyable and it was a pleasant stay

The hotel is placed in a really good position in the town, close to bars and restaurants. The breakfast is very good. Decoration could do with an update but we found the room was very clean and the beds really comfortable. Travel into Venice was fairly easy and took about half hour by tram. The tram station is a couple of minutes walk away. If you buy a ticket from the hotel reception it covers as many tram rides and waterbuses in Venice that you need.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was great. We came earlier than check in time and the administrator woman was very helpful and polite. Even thought it was very early she offered us a free upgrade to a room with a great view. The room was clean but the breakfast was a bit poor than expected but better than any other hotels we have stayed in Italy. Overall it was a beatiful hotel with a perfect location to stay with kids.

Frontdesk Giusepe is horrible! My first room, Lots of mosquitos-NO WIFI. Mr GIUSEPE did not care. Waited night shift, talked to a girl who changed my room. 2nd room wifi ok but NO A/C. Next day fnally they gave us to a decent room (stayed 6 nights). Two frontdesk GIRLS were very NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. Breakfest is greqt!! Location great. WIFI IS A BIG PROBLEM IN THIS HOTEL!!!!!

We were very happy with our stay - really convenient location, so simple to get to Venice. There are some nice restaurants around the hotel to have dinner; and the breakfast in the hotel was a good value (and they even had a good variety of vegan options which I wasn't really counting on!).
If I was to visit Venice again one day, would stay in the same place!

The room was lovely. The bathroom was big and lovely. The. Reception girls were lovely and so helpful and polite. One man on the reception desk was not polite and he was quite rude. He went outside to smoke. He was not sociable and you didn’t feel like asking him anything because he had no social skills. He is in the wrong job.

I found that it would have been much more difficult if I stayed inside Venice because we have to carry own suite cases to destinations(no car or bus available inside Venice)

Unfortunately the temperature in our room was 26 degrees day and night. We could not get the temperature down even though we changed the settings. It was very uncomfortable at night.
Also even though fresh coffees were being made for staff visitors had to use the coffee machine. The coffee was horrible. The cappuccino was all mostly milk . You couldn’t taste the coffee. I would have paid for a proper coffee but the breakfast lady with short dark hair said I had to use the diy coffee machine!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is on a huge pedestranised square which is lined with bars and restaurants. The spacious parking garage is a 5 min walk. Our room was clean and comfortable. Really nice buffet breakfast in a nice area. Its a 5 min walk to the tram station for direct 15 mins trip into venice which cost only a few euros. The hotel can provide tram/vaparetto tickets. Mestre was an ideal choice for us as there is plenty of things to see and do here, with lots of shoos, bars and restaurants and the atmosphere is very friendly and laid back.

Hotel is great for families, situated in a beautiful courtyard with many shops and restaurants. Minutes away from team and busses to Venice for a few euros and a short ride you arrive. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Hotel rooms are clean, provided kitchenette and beds for the entire family.

Hotel was nice and staff excellent. Disappointed that I thought breakfast was complimentary as well as the airport shuttle only to find it was not.
Electricity was shut off in the room during the night which resulted in our equipment not being able to be charged for the long commute ahead. Otherwise a nice quaint hotel.

I enjoyed the location of this hotel, being 15 minutes from Venice but in a nice courtyard with a nice vibe. The hotel was just fine and the breakfast was great. The only thing I didn't like was our specific room, which was basically the attic. The ceiling beams were so low that we cracked our head numerous times. Standing upright in the bathroom was impossible. It was also inconvenient to have to drop off our room key each morning and then stop on the second floor at reception to get it each time we returned. Overall, I would stay here again but not in the attic.

We booked a room with a double bed and with garden or courtyard view. Clearly we wanted to have a quiet time. What we got instead was two single beds pushed together which was clearly uncomfortable. Instead of a window facing the garden o courtyard our window was looking out on a bar and pedestrian area. People were passing all night and we were woken up several times. In the mornings a bell woke us at 7.30 (!)am - really not what you want. Was glad to go back home

Perfect place in the centre of Mestre. Located at a five minute walk to the tram into Venice and the convenience of the hotel being able to issue your transit tickets right at the front desk! We had a renovated room, 208, for 4 of us and it was spacious new and clean. Not all the rooms are renovated, so if it's important to you, ask first! Reception staff are fantastic, so knowledgeable and helpful!! Breakfast was awesome, a selection of baked goods, meat and cheese and fruit. We booked a transfer to the hotel from Marco Polo airport for 50 Euros, save a bit of money and take a taxi at 35 Euros. There's a shopping centre close by with a grocery store for sundries and water. Air conditioning could have been a little better but the room temp was tolerable. Overall a great visit and highly recommended!!

We had an amazing time. As soon as we arrived at 9 pm, the courtyard was full of entertainment with music playing an lots of people hanging out. Our room had a balcony and we were on the first level next to reception. We loved our room and location of hotel. The hotel reception was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! The hotel is next door to a delicious restaurant where we had pizza and a Italian dessert. This hotel is in a great location. There are plenty of shops in courtyard and plenty restaurants. It's only a bus ride away from Venice area. The Best! I loved it! The room is very nice and they give you room slippers to wear.

Good service. Great location. Quiet and relaxing, and still so very close to transport (bus/trams) to head to Venice each day.
Room was tiny, which was ok. However I didn't like the lack of easy access to exit the room in case of emergency. Being located in the attic/roofline, the only exit was through the doors and down a set of stairs to the second floor. There were bars on the windows.
Otherwise good value.

Great hotel in fun area away from the crowds

Excellent hotel. We were very happy with the location-super easy to get to the islands on the tram but also away from the heavy crowds. Good food in walking distance that is about 25% less than you'd pay on the island. Clean hotel, great breakfast, wonderful staff

Highly recommend

This was our first hotel we stayed at in Italy, 4 of us sharing one room. Although the room was on the smaller end it accommodated us well as it was a hub for us to sleep in not hang out. The key points of this hotel were definitely the incredible cleanliness (esp beautiful bathroom) and most memorably the BEST BREAKFAST we all had in Italy of all the hotels we stayed at. Fresh croissants and pastries, espresso, poach your own eggs, fruit, yogurt, cold cuts and cheeses. We opted to stay in mestre and had a day trip in Venice and I cannot say how happy I am about this decision. Mestre itself is cute with enough to do and a quiet hub away from Venice, also a quick and easy tram ride away there and back. I'd definitely return here any day.

Nice hotel in a picturesque area of Mestre

Very good stay in general.
Liked the location away from the super-touristic Venice.
The hotel stuff provides all type of information, maps and even the possibility to buy the tickets for the public transportation (cash)
But it takes about 30 to reach Venice (5 min walk + tram). Perfect for us but might be less ideal for a group with little children

Good choice of hotel in Mestre

Great location with a really good restaurant/ bar next door in the piazza. Hotel was very clean, our room was an adequate size but very dark as looked out onto an alley and the furniture was all dark wood. However the bathroom was large and spacious. The shower itself let it down a little as the cubicle was very small in comparison to the room and appeared 'cheap' It did work though and there was always hot water.
Breakfast was continental style but fresh produce and various choices. There is a choice to dine in the dining room or a small covered terrace room.
Staff all very helpful so I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great Location, Superb Room and Lovely Staff

Great spacious room in a superb location. Staff were very friendly, helpful and went beyond to inform you of where to go and what to see, with some superb recommendations. Breakfast each morning was amazing, with us literally being spoiled for choice. Overall very happy with all aspects of the stay and won't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anybody. Central Venice is around 15-20mins away by public transport, so very easy to get to from the hotel.
