Loved our stay at Ladear Angkor Hotel! The location is perfect for exploring Siem Reap, with many attractions close by. The food was excellent, and the rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed.

We really enjoyed the amenities as well — the pool and spa were both fantastic. A special shout-out to the concierge team, who helped us plan several days of tours with incredible guides. Their recommendations and organization made our trip even more memorable.

Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Siem Reap!

Very great and awesome staff, especially Ketta, Borey, Chet, and Noung. They really took great care of us during our stay. The staff were very friendly, kind, and always helpful.

The facilities and amenities are beautiful, and the food was good. Our room was clean and comfortable. These are exactly the things we always look for when choosing accommodation, and this place delivered on all of them. Highly recommended!

A truly fantastic hotel to base yourself in Siem Reap is the Ladear Angkor Hotel. It’s in a great central location, with beautiful gardens only a few minutes’ walk away.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. Davy at reception took great care of us and kindly organised a hotel car with a very professional driver, Mr. Lun. On the first day we enjoyed visiting the incredible Angkor Wat and surrounding temples, and on the second day we took a trip to the floating village of Kampong Khleang.

Everything was perfectly arranged, making our stay comfortable, easy, and very memorable. We highly recommend Ladear Angkor Hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

This beautiful hotel is about a 5–7 minute walk from downtown and only a short drive to Angkor Wat. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with good air-conditioning that made the stay very comfortable.

The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help. The property also offers great amenities, including a restaurant, a bar, and two swimming pools, which were perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. It was also very easy to find a tuk-tuk right outside the hotel.

The hotel provides a breakfast box upon request, which is convenient for guests leaving early for tours. However, it would be even better if breakfast service started a bit earlier, as many visitors begin their day early to avoid the heat while exploring Angkor Wat.

We stayed at Landear Angkor Hotel for three days and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is excellent—close enough to Siem Reap Night Street for an easy evening walk and dinner, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, providing some of the best service we have ever experienced. Everything from the atmosphere to the hospitality made our stay truly memorable. I highly recommend Landear Angkor Hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

We had a fantastic stay at Landear Angkor Hotel. Although it is located right in the city center, the hotel was surprisingly peaceful and quiet. The staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, always anticipating our needs.

We dined at the hotel restaurants on three evenings and enjoyed excellent service each time from Vathana. He was extremely courteous, very friendly, and truly helped make our experience special. Thank you very much for everything!

Hotel staff is amazing. Prices of food amazing ,beers $1-2 each ,clean cool pool, amazing air conditioning in the rooms. Views from the rooms 10/10. Best deal all around in siem reap. I received a free foot massage .wifi was amazing.
This place is by far the best cheap hotel in siem reap. Location was close to pub street and safe to walk around drunk at 2-3am alone.

The actual condition of the rooms was older this place could use a renovation but it never bothered me one bit I felt safe and at home.

Truly Exceptional Stay!

Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The elegant colonial-style architecture gave the entire place a charming and relaxed atmosphere that made us feel at ease right away.

Every member of the staff — from the front desk to housekeeping — delivered outstanding service with genuine warmth and professionalism. A special mention goes to the waitress in the breakfast lounge, whose kindness and attentiveness made each morning feel extra special.

I highly recommend this Hotel and booking the 3-day temple tour directly through the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. Our tour guide, Sinet, was amazing — very knowledgeable, friendly, and also a great photographer! Our driver was also wonderful, always providing us with cold water and refreshing towels, which made a big difference during the hot days. It was a truly memorable experience from start to finish.

We stayed at this hotel with a group of 10 and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect—close to the city center but still peaceful and relaxing. The resort facilities are excellent: the pool area, dining room, and buffet were all fantastic. The service was impeccable, with staff always attentive and kind.

On the day of our checkout, the hotel kindly allowed us to stay until 3:30 PM, which was very helpful as we had a late flight to catch.

We had a truly memorable stay at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were elegant and spacious, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist us with recommendations and arrangements.

The swimming pool was large and surrounded by beautiful scenery, creating a perfect spot to unwind. We also tried the spa services — the massage, jacuzzi, and cold tub were all fantastic experiences.

Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options.

My stay at Ladear Angkor hotel was nothing short of amazing — it truly deserves more than 5 stars. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink and a cool towel, and my luggage was personally brought to my room. The rooms are incredibly spacious and beautifully furnished, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere.
The poolside bar was a perfect place to unwind, and the Ox Restaurant offered an unforgettable fine dining experience with crystal chandeliers, white table linens, a delicious amuse-bouche, and a fantastic steak menu.
The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering everything from pho, ramen, crepes, and fresh eggs to charcuterie, fruits, breads, and a wide range of hot dishes.
I also enjoyed the spa treatments, where the estheticians and masseuses were truly skilled, making it such a relaxing experience. The hotel also features 2 pools, and fast tuk-tuk service whenever needed.
I highly recommend Ladear Angkor Hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap. It was an unforgettable stay!

We originally planned to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 4 because we loved it so much. I stayed with my partner and son in a large, peaceful room with a spacious balcony. Everything was just as we hoped — if not better. From the moment we arrived, the staff were outstanding, making us feel welcome and relaxed.

The whole atmosphere of the hotel is calm and inviting, and the beds were the most comfortable we had during our 3-week trip across Cambodia and Vietnam. If I had to mention one small thing, the bar fridge wasn’t quite cold enough — though we heard from management that this is a common issue for Australians traveling in the region.

The highlight of the ladear Angkor Hotel's incredible hospitality came when two of our Vietnam visas were rejected at the airport. The hotel immediately arranged a pick-up for us, gave us back our same room at the same discounted rate, and treated us with so much kindness and care. It felt like coming home and truly lifted our spirits during a tough moment.

I spent 2 nights in Siem Reap staying at Ladear Angkor Hotel, and it was truly an amazing experience that I highly recommend. The staff were so kind, helpful, and always greeted us with a lovely smile, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The hotel features two beautiful swimming pools, a relaxing spa, a nice bar, and a restaurant offering great discounts during the low season — all perfect for enjoying your holiday.

The front desk also arranged a tuk-tuk trip to Angkor Wat for us at a very reasonable price, making it easy and affordable to explore this world-famous site. I feel so lucky to have seen Angkor Wat during this green season, surrounded by fresh scenery and peaceful atmosphere.

I also took some beautiful photos of this amazing place that will keep these special memories alive.

I had an unforgettable experience staying at Ladear Angkor Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff — they were always smiling and ready to assist us with anything we needed throughout our stay.

One of the highlights was the evening recommendation from the team to enjoy an Apsara dance show with a traditional Khmer set menu nearby — it was a beautiful cultural experience. I also had a great time exploring Pub Street, where the street food and vibrant nightlife made the evening truly exciting.

My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel also has a lovely swimming pool, bar, and restaurant — perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

I had a wonderful time during my stay! The staff were absolutely perfect — so friendly and helpful. The swimming pools were clean and refreshing, and the whole hotel was surrounded by beautiful greenery, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

I had previously stayed at the Ladear Angkor Boutique Hotel five years ago and loved it, so had no hesitation in booking the hotel again when visiting Cambodia. It was so disappointing to find that standards had slipped completely.
Our room had a small patio overlooking a lap pool with two sun beds. Unfortunately the sun beds were extremely dirty with deposits of bird droppings, which I tried to clean so we could use them. The curtains in the room, apart from being very dusty were covered in revolting stains and the bath robes were absolutely filthy, grubby and covered in make up. We requested a laundry bag which never turned up and had an issue trying to pay for a drink at the bar, being told that they could not accept the American dollars we gave them, so had to go to reception, who accepted the money straight away. We had paid up front for three nights, but decided after one night to leave and book somewhere else . I am so sorry to have to give this negative review as I was looking forward to revisiting the hotel , I just hope that something can be done to improve the standards, particularly the cleanliness.

Hotel staff were lovely but the room was not we expected. If you have been backpacking and want and upgrade to stay in a hotel it is lovely. We unfortunately had stayed in 4 star accommodation in our other stops and so we changed hotels the following day. Not any fault of tbis hotel but wanted to end our 3 week trip with a bit of luxery before going home

Ms. Mony is top notch

This hotel is clean, quiet and not badly located. It does not have an elevator. There are some issues but the glue that holds the whole place together is Ms. Mony of Guest Services. I think she could take a step up to a higher profile hotel and do very well. If she does not know the answer she knows a guy that does. In one case she steered me away from a thousand dollar con job and in another saw to it that we were on a totally wonderful tour of Angkor Wat. I would suspect the hotel restaurant does not fall under her prevue. The food is fine but you had better be prepared for a long long wait and that's just for spring rolls and soup. We were always the only ones in the place.

Breakfast was appalling. The choices on the menu simply never appeared. Breakfast was served 7 - 10am , though arriving at 7.15am because of excurtions, most was not even set up meaning we had to leave without.
The hotel has two pools though we did not use the back pool which was not at all inviting, though we did try the main pool which had a film across the surface which was not encouraging.
The reception staff were always curtious and due to our lengthy stay we were offered two complimentary foot massages at the hotel spar which was very good. Thank you

Spacious and comfortable room with access to the pool. Very good location - walkable to Pub Street and yet far away from the noise. Shower is not enclosed so the entire bathroom gets wet after a shower. Breakfast has very little variety and is exactly the same every day.

Great Choice in Siem Reap

Very pleasant hotel. My wife and I stayed here on a trip in 2015 and we liked it so much we returned. The hotel rooms and grounds are lovely. While the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the main tourist area around the night market in Siem Reap, you can always catch a tuk tuk for $1 or $2. The hotel is slightly more run down than I recall, but the service is excellent and the hotel provides tremendous value for money. Highly recommended.

Great affordable hotel 10 minutes from Pub Street

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past 3 years during business trips to Siem Reap. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, the rooms are large and comfortable, there are two nice pools for swimming, and the breakfast buffet is lovely. The hotel is a 10-minutes walk from pub street and on a quiet smaller street. But it's walkable to shops, restaurants, and there's a convenience store and lovely spa just in front of the hotel. This is one of the best hotels for the money in Siem Reap!

Very impressed with this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a lovely pool and the buffet breakfast was great. Although it looks like you are on a back street, there are many restaurants within a 10 minute walk. You can walk to Pub Street but it would probably take about 20 minutes. Would definitely stay again or recommend to someone else.

This was our second time to Siem Reap and Ladear Angkor Boutique Hotel made our stay amazing. The room was beautiful and we had a balcony that opened up to one of their 2 pools. The service was amazing and JoJo even gave us his Line and helped with tour reservations and other information for our stay while he was off work.

The breakfast was okay but everything else was absolutely amazing.

Stay for six days. Had ground floor room, which was fine, bit of a problem with mosses though, behind toilet door, shower door etc....asked at reception about spray, so they sprayed room next morning after cleaning, didn't stop the mossier at night time though.
Happy hour drinks had four beers in happy hour and one after 7pm, but eight were listed!
When questioned batman just crossed the others out, so maybe keep eye on that...
Other reviews don't really mention breakfast, but it is probably the worst breakfast layout we have ever come across.....except for the cup of tea....but anyway apart from that staff very friendly.

Fantastic stay! Beautifull in all regards.
A little out of the centre, so calm. So you eighter should take tuktuks or bikes, although it is a walking distance, but the neighborhood gives the impression to be less safe in the dark. I did walk at night though and it is ok.
The free bikes are a great idea here, but there are few and in bad condition. They are only free for use in town, you can rent them to go to the temples or rent better ones on the way to the centre.
Certainly a plus for me: good spa with real professionals!!

Small but perfectly formed

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The reception staff were lovely, breakfast had a choice of European or local dishes and the pool area was a tropical oasis.
Our room wasn't pool facing, and we didn't use the balcony (still nice to have ) but very large room with bath and walk in shower. I used the robe provided but not the flip-flops as they were previously used.
Comfortable bed with the most amazing squishy pillows I've ever had at a hotel.
We had drinks by the pool - smoothies and cocktails and they were excellent and fairly priced.
The hotel offers a laundry service (not advertised in room) and it was perfect for us- handed it in just before lunch and it was ready, nicely folded and wrapped by the evening. Slightly more expensive than the laundry offered down the street but well worth it for convenience and quality/speed of service.
The free airport pick up was great- a very friendly driver (Mr Sit)
Wouldn't hesitate to return here - the walk to pub street was slightly over ten minutes but interesting and helped us walk off the fantastic food and drinks available there.

Super friendly! After busing in from the capital we were a bit haggard, but we were greeted with refreshing ginger shots and cold cloths! The room was large and comfy and even had a bit of English TV. We arranged a Tuk Tuk driver with them. Had him twice, he was very willing. Room service was great too. Two pools, spa, restaurant, cafe and convenience store. What more could you ask for. It was about ten minutes walk to pub street.

Relaxing and quiet, yet close to the center.

My husband and I stayed at Ladear for 4 nights while visiting the temples of Angkor. We appreciated being able to relax by the pool at the end of the day. The pool was charming and very clean. The breakfast was outside, close to the pool area, which was nice. The room was comfortable (excellent bed) and clean, with air conditionning. Each day, they folded the towels in a different way, to create cute shapes. Nice touch! The staff was particularly helpful and kind. I ordered a cocktail by the pool and it was really good.
We discovered that the hotel was close to Kind's Road Market, a very nice place with many restaurants, including the excellent Embassy, where we enjoyed a gastronomy menu.

Great Hotel To stay in Siem Reap

My friend and I went to Angkor for 3 days and we do not regret our choice of hotel. This place is well located, going to \"Pub Street\" is only 1.5 USD in tuk-yuk (don't hesitate to negotiate). The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The staff is amazing, always smiling and trying to make you happy. The pool is great, specially when you are back from your long visit in the morning of the temples. We had a driver (Mr Tin) who came to pick us up at the airport, it is included in the hotel facilities. Then we did our visit of the temples with him. It was great. We only regret one thing, a friend recommended us to do the sunrise in Bayon and not in Angkor Vat to avoid the crowd, but our driver told us plenty of time that is not possible, but it is. Another friend did it the day before we arrived. So if you want to do your own itinerary don't hesitate to insist! Otherwise, everything was perfect, we recommend the hotel and mr Tin!

Very pleasant stay and excellent customer service

My wife and I stayed at Ladear hotel for a few nights in May. From the moment the free pick up tuk tuk came to collect us from the Airport to the time we were dropped off at the airport, we were treated with 5 star service. I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world and many 5 star hotels, but the service I received at Ladear was my best experience so far and far exceeds that I have received at the Hiltons or other 5 star hotels. There was a very personal feel to the service we received and the staff went well beyond expectation to facilitate our needs. I would like to thank all at Ledear for our very pleasant stay, especially Ms Bhupa and the reception team. I would highly recommend this hotel to all staying in Siem Reap. It is a 10 min walk into the centre but you can get a tuk tuk to and from the hotel for $1 each way with good negotiation.

Very cozy and superb service

We were greeted with fragrant wash cloths and refreshing beverage upon arrival. We were in town to celebrate our wedding anniversary and was surprised by a beautiful anniversary message upon entering the room (a bottle of wine, elephant rolled up towels with local plumeria and palm leaves used to script out the message). Speaking the local language, we overheard staff's plan about wanting to surprise a guest with a birthday cake. Very impressed with the personal little details they notice about their guests. The only low rating was the steep stairs as we had several large luggages. We had a beautiful balcony overlooking a mini paradise. Very impressed!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Only 12 rooms. Lovely location, staff were very friendly and helpful. After returning from a full day at temples they supplied cold towels and a cold drink. Breakfast is very good and lots of it. When we left they gave us a gift as well. Swimming pool was lovely as well. Would recommend highly.

My stay at Ladear was truly excellent. From the essential A/C in the room to the complimentary waters refreshed daily and lovely breakfast, my own personal and very accommodating tuk-tuk driver and the wonderful and very efficient staff. I did not use the pool, but it was beautiful. The Wi/Fi was a little sketchy and there was not really any hot water, but who needs hot water when the ambient temperature is 98f/34c? The water could be described as tepid. The location requires a bit of a walk (about 3-4 blocks) to King's Road and a little farther to the Old Market and Pub Street, but it is not unbearable and one gets to soak in some \"culture\" in the process. There are MANY restaurants to choose from in the area and the staff will gladly help you with your selection. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it as a perfect little get-away from the hustle of Siem Reap, but not too far away.

Overall, it was a nice stay in Ladear especially the service of the staff. They were all helpful and friendly even though some had a hard time speaking English. The room is spacious and can even fit 4 persons. The only challenge is that there is no elevator which you have to carry your heavy luggage on your own. (No worries, you can ask for their help in doing so.) Breakfast is being served in a plate wherein you can choose from Continental, American, or Asian. The service is quite slow for this so you might as well go early. Lastly, the location is quite a distance from the Night Market however it's reachable when you know exactly where the direction is. We got lost on our first night and the roads are dark and creepy.

Great hotel with helpful and friendly staff

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff arranged transportation from the airport and allowed us to drop our bags off before check-in. They can help arrange a tuktuk to take you around the city and the area's temples. They were really helpful and nice. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping, but far enough to be away from the crowds and noise. They provide free breakfast and the selection was great. Would recommend and stay again!

Wonderful intimate hotel

Only 12 rooms makes you feel like you are often the only guest there. The staff are a delight - you get to know them well and they make every attempt to make sure you have a great stay. Rooms are clean and functional and the Wifi worked well. I recommend the ground floor room which have a private garden area and lead straight out to the pool. Incredible value for the price paid.

Angkor Siem Reap watt a lot of history and temples, every thing is geared for the tourist even the ATM,s spit out US dollars and if you don,t have the.correct change you don,t get any or you receive local currency, at 4to1 again in the vendors favour. The temples are splendid with the Hindu influence very evident in the pre budist era of the countries history. The sun rise over Angkor watt is mayhem, take a torch the path is uneven and the viewing area small. If you wish to climb to the top line up early at the stairs inside the temple (7:40) is the opening time saves you queuing for a lengthy period of time in the heat. The night market is a good experience as is the FREE silk factory tour leaving from Artisans of Angkor you could spend a week here take your time and enjoy the history of the area which must have been grand looking at the infrastructure of the bygon era.

This hotel is a bit out of the main part of town about a 10 min walk or a short tuk tuk ride. The pool side rooms are a good size and well equiped but the small terrace is behind a wall and garden so you can't realy see the pool when sitting outside.

A lovely hotel

The hotel was really gorgeous with great attention to detail. From the friendly tuk tuk pickup from the airport(who waited for us even when we were delayed by an hour getting though visa control), the lemongrass aroma and beautiful decorations in reception, refreshing towel and fruit juice on arrival after a hot day of travelling, to the fresh flowers and towel origami in the room. The hotel is an oasis with a picturesque pool area and our room was lovely. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to ask, with detailed directions, dedicated tuk-tuk for the duration of our stay and tour of the anchor temples for a very good price. We would love to come back, it was an absolute pleasure. :-)

Nice hotel, poor location

This is a nice, new, small hotel. It's quiet and reasonably private so would suit families or older couples. I gave it a 3 because it's a about a 10-15 minute walk to Old Market or a $2 Tuk Tuk ride - this gets expensive though if you're making a few return trips each day. The staff are very friendly. I missed breakfast on my first 2 days because the front desk said they didn't have breakfast (I think this was lost in translation). The cleaners woke me up at 6:30 every morning by sweeping and banging outside my room. I would not recommend booking Tuk Tuk tours through the hotel - we agreed on a price for a 2 day temple tour, but then the driver took me to other temples without saying anything and the hotel tried to double the price when I checked out. The front desk agreed to only charge the original price that was agreed on which was good.

Lovely boutique hotel

It was a pleasant to stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and we managed to get a early checked in which I wrote in to request prior to our stay. The hotel is a little further away from Pub Street, roughly 10 mins walk but we wouldn't mind that as we preferred a peaceful place. However Tuk tuk is available to go to town. Food was above our expectation and we didn't mind having it everyday.

The hotel is beautiful decorated with plants, a small but awesome swimming pool and a little pub where you could get some drinks or beer. It is a worthy place to stay and I would definitely recommend this gem.
