Hotel is in a great location. Room could of been cleanier. shower looked like it wasn’t clean based on the calcium on the floors and walls. Some stains on the furniture and sheets. Room was well price for the area so you kind of get what you pay for.

Location was perfect!! It’s directly in front of a church and great for shopping.
Size. 5 adult size people fit comfortably.

Wifi - awful. They do have an extender but just did not work.

Location: Very Clean
Mattress: Extremely Firm
Air Conditioning: Excellent

Other: We were able to leave our bags and felt secure.

I would stay here again!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel room wasn't great; it was very clean, but the layout felt cramped for five people and the beds were super hard. The location was fantastic, but my family and I really weren’t comfortable in the room or on the beds.

This hotel is not what it’s advertised. It was a room in a second floor of a building near Via del Corso. We never saw a front desk person nor received any personal attention. I would definitely not consider this a good “hotel” for the price we paid.

We were very happy with our one night stay. There was no reception or anyone to check you in which I was a little worried about. We arrived at the Hotel 1 pm. And there was no one there. We knew this from previous reviews.
Receptionist is only there in the morning from 9 am - 10:30 am to answer any questions or concerns. make sure you check your email with special code on how to enter and your room number. Code is used to enter the main front door and the receptionist area where your rooms are on the second floor. check your email!!’ email is very important Otherwise you are left with no way to get in.
Our stay was really great. We are a family of 4. We were very comfortable. Our room was very roomy. 1 Double bed and 2 twin size beds . Perfect for our family. Walking distance to everywhere. We thought we would need transportation our farthest tour (the coliseum) but we walked it 25-30 min . Restaurants and shops everywhere. 4 short blocks to Spagna Metro. Spanish steps. Walking distance to TreVi Fountain and Pantheon. Our return flight home was not until much later in the day so once you checked out you were able to leave your luggage by the reception. Visable to other guests staying. Wish they had a separate locked area for luggage storage. Our luggage was fine we left it there for about 4 hours. Taxis by spagna metro . Taxis in abundance by Spagna metro . About 50 euro FCO Airport. Overall very good location. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

So it’s interesting place, run by a very nice man Ovi. Room are nice but needs improvement but then again it’s B&B and not a hotel so you expect what you pay for. Location is outstanding, if you don’t care about 2 star B&B it’s the best bet you have. Place is clean but small.

Great location.Busy area. Walking distance to Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Surrounded by restaurants, convenience store, shopping. Replied to email inquiries in a timely manner, coordinated shuttle service from Termini station and FCO airport. Expedia stated breakfast provided, however, property discontinued serving breakfast.

They did not give me the room that I reserved. Not organized at all. The mattress that I slept on has a deep hole inside. Don't understand why they can't replace it with a new mattress. However, the location is great. Very close to the City. They also offer breakfast.

great location and rooms are not bad

honestly i was pretty surprised with how dingy looking the reception/breakfast area is upon check-in but the rooms are quite nice and comfortable.

i didn’t have a problem with anything and they were really friendly with booking a hop on hop off tour for us.

i recommend this place to people who are looking for a good location near the spanish steps and shopping area. a good 10 mins away from fountain trevi and metro.

The location is in the middle of all the tourist attractions and the area is always busy. Love it, highly recommended, get the room with the via del corso view and terrace. it’s like a family run bed and breakfast accomodation, occupying the first floor of the building.

The property is in great location...accessible to lots of food places and stores. Also accessible to metro and other tourist spots. The facility is clean and quiet. Although, poor WiFi connection in the hotel and not a lot amenities...they don’t have a laundry facility. The room has air conditioner but there was a power outage in the hotel on our second night and no power for about 5 hours. The following morning we had to shower with cold water because there was no hot water. The staff are cordial and helpful but not very friendly. It’s an ok property to stay for a short time.

This location is unbeatable for our family with 3 teenagers! Right in the middle of shopping and restaurants, a few minutes walk to Spanish Steps and the metro there. We walked to the Pantheon and then to the Colosseum in maybe 30 minutes. Trevi Fountain is 10 minutes away. The continental breakfast was perfect with the macchiato machine, fresh chocolate croissants, cereal, fruit. The staff was very helpful, accommodating an early breakfast time and helping with questions. Our room was quiet and far from the eating area and any noise from the street. Great A/C, plenty of hot water, nice bathroom. One bed had dirty sheets and the staff immediately got us new sheets. There was construction out our balcony so we couldn’t use it, but no one was working out there the 3 days we were there, and we didn’t spend a whole lot of extra time in the room! We got a car transfer from the airport- someone intercepted us on the way to the train station. A GREAT way to go- we got a driving tour of Rome in an a/c van!

My husband and I planned to stay here for the first night of our ten day vacation in Italy. Only spending one night in Rome, we really wanted to stay at a hotel that had a room with a balcony, so we could experience the sounds of the city and sleep with the balcony doors open to enjoy the beautiful mediterranean air at night. And that’s exactly why we choose the Corso Grand Suite. However, things weren’t as expected....

After checking in, we excitedly entered our room and headed straight to the balcony. As we parted the curtains in front of the balcony door, what we found was construction, scaffolding, and a cover over the front of the entire building...the balcony didn’t exist. We got zero breeze and zero views...to say we were disappointed was an understatement.

Still, the hotel itself is in a great location, convenient to all of the attractions in Rome. The room was clean and the bathroom was newly renovated, so definitely suitable for our needs.

However, if you’re like us and looking to book here for the balcony/views, definitely call before arriving to ensure the construction has been finished. We understand construction happens we just wished it had been handled better. We should’ve been told prior to arrival, or at least at check in, or better yet, when we mentioned our disappointment to the owner he could’ve acted like he cared. Instead he told us, this was communicated to you, when in fact it definitely wasn’t.

The property was under construction and therefore all balconies were unavailable no views outside the windows aside from construction plus constant construction noise.. I spoke with the staff and they apologized and offered to move me to a new apartment but when I returned they decided against it and left me and my family there. I explained that I would not of stayed at a hotel under construction. They responded with we told Expedia so it’s their fault that I didn’t know about construction in advance. I asked the owner for an email stating that he had sent the info to Expedia. He aggressively denied any request for an email or anything else. I spoke of a reduced rate due to the state of the hotel I thought he was going to mentally lose his mind. The owner has a very aggressive attitude and horrible customer service. He offered me %10 off my next stay if I cut out Expedia or other booking agencies. News flash I wouldn’t stay at this dump again for free. Ps another thing you are treated like a child and not allowed to take your room key with you it has to remain at the front desk at all times, hotel policy. Rome was amazing and the only thing negative about the trip was our stay at this dump of a so-called hotel

We initially planned to get Via de Corso, but eventually moved to 58 Via de Frattini. Dont know how the two compared, but Frattini is a good street in proximity to all necessary (restaurant, shops, transit, attraction). Couldnt complain more.

B & B located in the heart of Rome

This B & B had been updated and modernized. Our room was quite spacious (the bathroom as well) for four people with luggage. The air conditioning unit worked great as well as the wi-fi which wasn't always the case at other places we stayed at in Italy. We had a small balcony that looked out onto Via Del Corso and across the street from a beautiful church. Corso Grand Suite is located in the city-center and close to many sites in Rome. It is also in the shopping area. It's a great location. The only real complaint we had was that the breakfast is definitely on the minimal side with very limited choices.

Great location, lovely room!

The woman that worked within this hotel were amazing, lovely, helpful and kind. The owner was quite helpful as well and offered suggestions on where to go and how to get there. The location is ideal…Truly! My only issue is the lobby is quite small and could use a makeover. However, our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the church across the street. It is a small boutique hotel, but the price was ideal and the room was pleasant.

it is clean, newly renovated and staffs were nice except that one short hair lady who was very rude. she got mad when i asked for a hot water cause she has to wake up. The owner was very informative about the city. Only thing i wouldnt consider it a hotel, more like a airbnb type with a private bathroom.

Great location!!

Great location in a newly remodeled room! The hotel was small, like all hotels in the city. However the room was quite spacious. The owner was very friendly and informative. The location was amazing! We walked to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon all within a 5-10ish minute walk from the hotel. Vatican City was maybe a 25 minute walk, but it was much further from the city center. The rooms were clean and very well kept. They housekeeping was great! The only things I would mention that were not positive...the beds were not great and the breakfast was worse. I would stay again, for sure!

Great location! The hotel is very small, but the room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The metro was a quick walk and the hotel is on the same street as many shops and restaurants. The only problem was that the wifi did not work in the room most of the time and the breakfast was a bit below average.

the hotel owner was working at the frond desk and he was so kind of telling us good information about tourist places. Hotel location was great enough to walk to all the tourist attractions in Rome. it is within the hottest place in Condotii area. wifi is available as free of charge and at the time of check-out, you can leave your luggage at frond desk. Taxi service to FCO airport is also available with 50 euro. i would love to stay in the future if I have a chance to visit Rome again.

overall pleasant stay - location excellent - walkable to most of central Rome sites - management/staff were nice and helpful - hotel was clean - location has good restaurants and shopping nearby - this is a minimal services hotel (only complimentary breakfast - no other services) - overall rating 3.5 out of 5

check-in was disappointing in that no room in the category we had paid for was available - so we spent the first night in a smaller room (no price adjustment made)

Scam, be aware! When I arrived they DID NOT HAVE a ROOM I made reservation for. I had reserved double superior room with street view and balcony with no right to cancel reservation. But they did not have it available when I got there, my reservation was for 4 nights, room was not available for first 3 nights. Manager could not give any explanations just kept saying it was not available. Instead I was offered a room size of a cage without balcony, with a small window facing huge utility box right outside the window which was facing 15x30 feet dark yard. It was absolutely unacceptable! Manager WAS NOT cooperative and was not on side, she was hard to reach and I have to talk to her over the phone. And I have no choice but find another hotel by myself. There are plenty of other places available within 2-3 blocks, with nice and friendly staff. It's a small 6 room apartments on 2nd floor of residential building, not a hotel.
I would not recommend anyone to book reservation at Gran Corso Suites since they are not capable to keep it and you might be out on street like it happened to me.
And on top of this they did not hesitate to charge my credit card, now I have to go through dispute with my bank over such charges.

Our stay was perfect for what we needed. Shouldn't go to Europe expecting big rooms but the size of the room was pretty decent. Really enjoyed our stay due to the great staff. The owner is fantastic and he alone made it that much more enjoyable with how helpful he was. Breakfast was light but good. Location was perfect. Only flaw was the room got a little stuffy and didn't really feel the air kick on. However We plan on returning to rome and will for sure be returning to Corso Grand Suite.

Modern and convenient hotel room in Rome...but...

Our room was very modern and looked just like the pictures. The hotel was located in a very central and convenient neighbourhood. However, the room walls were paper thin which made us basically roommates with the other guests of the hotel. Also, breakfast was served immediately outside of our hotel room and the 'lobby' of the hotel is 10 feet away. The classification should really be a Bed and Breakfast. The hotel staff were professional and efficient but missing a warm/welcoming feeling that we came across in other establishments in Italy.

Wonderful stay!

This hotel is right in front of a beautiful cathedral with many shops and restaurants nearby. The metro is a 2 minute walk, fantastic location! The rooms are newly renovated with a contemporary style and very clean. The pictures do not do it justice. The owners were extremely hospitable from the moment we checked in. They even booked a tour for us! This was definitely our favorite stay in Italy!

this b and b is steps away from Spanish steps and heart of Rome...shopping surrounds the property along with cafes and restaurants ....OVIDE the owner was very accommodating... room always clean...breakfast included espresso..juices...American style toast ...cornetto and other pastry...room big enough for 2 to 4 people and comfortable....the room is priced well compared to older properties in the area ...will be staying here again

L'emplacement est top,
2 problèmes vécus, le premier est que malgré qu'on m'a confirmé par emreponse à mon message la chambre double, on m'a donné une twin avec des petits lits très inconfortables, et ce n'est que le lendemain qu'on me l'a changé, avec aucune réaction positive commerciale de compensation, et ensuite et fait GRAVE, en rentrant le soir après une longue journée, le house keeping a oublié sur la serrure de ma porte à la portée de tous sa clé, accompagnée du double de la clé de MON COFFRE-FORT ou j'avais rangé mon argent espèces (Non compté).
Im est inconcevable que quiconque se balade avec un double du coffre des clients, et qu'en plus l'oublie, et quand j'ai fait la remarque, le propriétaire ou le gérant, d'un air hautain, récupère la clé et me dit je vais voir, .... et plus rien après. Graaaave.

Bra läge och smidig check in

Bra läge med nära till det mesta inklusive transport. Vi hörde inget oljud från gatan utanför men det är ganska lyhört mellan rummen, vårt rum låg längre bort så vi stördes inte. Rummet var välstädat förutom sängöverkastet som var fläckigt. Mycket trevlig personal och smidig check in med kod på sms så man slipper passa tider.

L’établissement est bien situer mais pour un 4 étoiles ces juste au niveau du petit déjeuner franchement on devait demander à chaque fois de mettre du pain de mie pas d’œufs pour tous le monde deux ou trois alors qu’on a voyager à 9 personnes avec 5 enfants le nutella fallait demander pas de fruits inexistants le sévices au déplorer fait pas abuser un 5 étoiles on doit manquer de rien la partie commune pour déjeuner était petite la chambre était correct il ne change pas les draps de bains tous les jours ces un peu chiant ça et faire la chambre cela veux dire faire les lit correctement ça m’a suer à l’appel le personnel était pas top pour payer la taxe de séjour on a dû négocier car les enfants en bas âge de paye pas normalement elle voulait nous faire payer dommage je ne séjournerai plus là bas ça ces sure

Vibbar där fyra grabbar för en helg fylld med fotboll, shopping, mat och dryck. Våra förväntningar var ganska låga så vårat helhetsintryck blir ändå ok. Läget är fantastiskt mitt i Rom och receptionen är öppen dygnet runt. I övrigt var det egentligen bara fyra sängar och en ganska fräsch toalett. Helt ok alltså om man bara ska sova där med ett fantastiskt läge.

Rigtig fin beliggenhed i gåafstand til alle de vigtigste seværdigheder.
Værelset levede ikke op til billederne. Havde bestilt 2 enkeltsenge som dog ikke blev indfriet. Det var ikke hotellets fejl men bureauets🙁Meget lille og mørkt kammer.
Personalet meget behjælpelig og meget venlig betjening.
Det var svært at finde hotellets indgang.

Horrible experience. We booked a family room two months before our trip. In the evening we arrived our room not available because of a heating problem or they tried to contact us but they were surely on the plane ... it was in Rome since the day before and that we were connected they did not know what to tell us. They tried to give us a room in a small street (where we did not feel really safe with our children) it was impossible to walk through the door with our suitcase.

Le soir on arrive à l’hôtel notre chambre n’était pas disponible à cause disait-ils d’un problème de chauffage et qu’ils avaient essayé de nous contacter mais ont était sûrement dans l’avion... quand on leur à dit qu’on était à Rome depuis la veille et qu’on était connecté ils ne savaient plus quoi nous raconter. Ils ont essayé de nous donner une chambre dans une petite rue (où l’on ne se sentait vraiment pas en sécurité avec nos enfants) dans un placard à chaussures, c’était impossible de passer la porte avec notre valise.
Nous avons dû parcourir les rues de Rome avec nos valises et nos deux enfants pour trouver une chambre pour la nuit. Ce qui a fait augmenter considérablement notre budget voyage....
Le propriétaire refuse de nous rembourser...
Si vous pouvez éviter de réserver cet hôtel. Les propriétaires ne sont pas très honnêtes. La propreté des lieux laisse à désirer.

Nel cuore di Roma

La maggiore foeza di questo B&B è sicuramente la posizione a due passi da Via Condotti e da Piazza di Spagna. Nel complesso è una buona struttura. La reception è attiva 24h. Le camere accoglienti e pulite. La colazione continentale essenziale ma soddisfacente. Da consigliare se non si hanno grandi pretese.

Litet familjärt hotell. In- och utcheckning gick snabbt och utan problem. Receptionen var bemannad dygnet runt. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Perfekt läge - nära till allt. Lite lyhört, både från gatan men även inifrån. Sängarna ganska hårda. Frukosten var liten men man klarade sig till lunchen. Trevligt hotell!

Die Bilder versprechen ein höherwertigeres Zimmer als wir tatsächlich vorgefunden haben. Matratzen waren fleckig und durchgelegen. Ausblick auf den Hof, auf eine Wand. Kein Mülleimer im Zimmer. Frühstücksbereich quasi im Durchgang an Zimmertüren von anderen Gästen und sehr einfach. Bad war okay aber keine Ablagen. Personal war freundlich. Die Lage ist sehr gut.
