We went to the Vivaldi to check in and there was massive construction and jackhammering going on we went down the street and stayed at the Mozart hotel. We were not told about all the construction going on in the Vivaldi and we did not feel comfortable staying there, but we did like the Mozart hotel.

Room was large in size, but bed was very firm. Absolutely no WiFi in room - you have to visit the sister hotel property for any WiFi signal strength. Room was quiet and private.

Great location, albeit noisy, and no WiFi in room

Very convenient location - easy to walk out to many of the sights. Very noisy neighborhood, however - you can hear mopeds at night, and people singing opera, early in the morning. Also, the hotel room is poorly insulated - I could hear people talking in the next room (not yelling), as well as every footstep in the hallway. Better noise-proofing is required. Bed was firm - almost uncomfortable. WiFi - accessible in the breakfast room on the 2nd floor, however there was no Wifi signal in my room throughout my stay. All in all, great location, but I'd probably pick another hotel next time in Rome.

Very pleasant stay

Spacious and comfortable room with everything required for a pleasant stay. Location is excellent and Metro station is only a 4 minute walk away. Buffet breakfast on offer which was good - was a continental style breakfast but had a very decent selection. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Rome.

Private and quaint

Loved the breakfast and terrace lounge! So beautiful and good service. Rooms were larger than avg for Rome and bathrooms very nice with all modern amenities. Kinda fun as its separate from the hotel with a secret entrance at a fantastic location.

Nice Hotel in a Great Location

A really nice hotel in a great location. We were able to easily walk to all the highlights of Rome. Friendly/helpful staff. Good breakfast was included in the price, which was not cheap even with the Euro being around 1.13. Close to a ton of really good restaurants. We had a great time in Rome and the hotel was a nice part of that.

Great hotel

My 15year old daughter and I stayed at Vivaldi Luxury Rooms for 4 nights in September. Whilst I had requested twin beds, the one king size bed we were given was large enough that we were able to sleep far enough apart to feel as if we had a bed to ourselves. The room was scrupulously clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We appreciated the large heated towel rails so that when we washed some of our clothes in the room, we could then dry them on the rail in a short space of time. Our room had no view to speak of, but we could hear the orchestra playing nearby on lazy afternoons which was very special The hotel was close to everything and you could walk to all the monuments, but we were grateful for the proximity to the Metro when our feet had enough! There was free Wifi which my daughter appreciated and I loved the rooftop bar at nearby Hotel Mozart for a nightcap after a wonderful local dinner. The access to the rooms was quite unique in that you keyed in a number both at the street front door as well as on your floor to gain access to the building. This made us (two women on their own) feel quite secure. The area around the hotel was very safe and we felt comfortable wandering around, even late at night. All in all, we loved Vivaldi Rooms and would happily recommend it for a great stay in Rome.

Great Location, Really

Vivaldi rooms are operated by Hotel Mozart. 7~10 min walk to the metro. The area is filled with the little stores and restaurants. But from the airport, you will need to use the taxi 45min. at fixed rate of 48 euro. No train access really. The check-in was at Hotel Mozart. We were traveling with 3 large check-in bags and 4 carry-ons. it was just hard to drag our bags to the check-in desk. We had to drag our bags back to where our taxi dropped us. Pros: Rooms are tall, hence perceived large, The view from 4th floor to Corso street is great. AC works, just set it at 22~24C. The bathroom was large with the shower booth. The breakfast-above average. The morning staff are pleasant. The location is superb. Cons : They do not have on-site concierge service, although the hotel Mozart staff was available on the phone during the day. The communal door was left open, no attention given, until we got home to close it ourselves. Nobody picked up the phone when we tried to report this incident. A sour smell from the AC unit, until AC starts again. The breakfast selections, although delicious, the focus is more on the sweet bakery goods. They need more original warm breakfast options. One bellboy cannot handle our bags to our room and we were dragging them together. Helpless. They should provide the cart for guest check in/out. Overall, our stay was interestingly very satisfying. Perhaps, because I had already accepted that it is more of the serviced apartment. But, pleasant after all.

Great Location

For the price of this hotel in its location was well worth it. Breakfast was included. There is currently no lift with lots of stairs, but they are in the process of installing a lift when we were there. The bed was large for Europe but a bit hard. Room was air conditioned. Toiletries were provided and shower stall had two shower heads. We stayed 6 nights at this property and never tired of it. I would recommend staying at this hotel. Please note that reception for this property is around the corner at Hotel Mozart. Check-in and Check-out is done there. We also were able to purchase Roma Passes at hotel reception and add the charge on to our room charge.

Stayed here with my wife b4 our tour & it was interesting. 1st, nothing to do with the hotel but be careful if you take a taxi here. We were taken for a long ride by a taxi driver who \"didn't realize\" Via Corsa turned into a 1-way pedestrian street. We were scammed for an extra 10 euros to back track all around from the other end. If a driver tries the same thing get out where it turns into a 1-way as the hotel is literally 1 block away & would have been quicker to walk (a pedestrian street). For the hotel itself, it took us 2min to find the Vivaldi but at least 30min to find out check-in was at Hotel Mozart. To make things easier go straight to Hotel Mozart! When we arrived reception told us the person staying in our Vivaldi room was sick, could not leave & offered us a room in Hotel Mozart instead. After the taxi scam I'm not sure whether this was a bait & switch tactic or if someone was actually sick. Regardless we agreed to stay there. I want to mention this b/c if others experience room switching I think ppl should be aware. As far as Hotel Mozart went, it was probably the nicest hotel we stayed at during our 2 weeks in Italy. Location was awesome: walking distance to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain & Pantheon. Despite everything we would stay here again. One last thing is that Hotels.com did not pre-pay the hotel like usual so you have to pay after your visit. Just wanted to mention it b/c we were skeptical of getting double charged, but so far everything checked out

you will be surprised once you arrive to the building No. mentione on the reservation it is belong to a big building with close door , you start asking for the hotel to discover the hotel recepetion in other building with Other Name and no sign has the name VIVALDI

New facililties, with moderate sized room, but this is Rome. Great location on Via Corso. NOTE: Do not try and drive your own car to this location as it is very difficult to get to (small one way streets etc) unless you are a Rome taxi driver.

The hotel upgrades were very nice, especially for the $124 euro's paid. They put us in the 6th floor suite with it's own veranda! That was awesome. Only complaints: one of the front desk guys was extremely rude and abrasive. The actual reception was at the posted address on hotel.com except the name on the door there was not Vivaldi. The Vivaldi rooms were out and around the corner to the left on via del corso. That would have been good to know. However, overall experience was good, rooms were quite clean, condition of room beat my expectations. Would certainly go there again if price was good.

Great location!

Location is superb - located on one of the main shopping streets, walking distance to the Spagna underground station, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. With its central location the room was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was decent, freshly brewed coffee, good selection bread, cakes, pastries and fruit. You also get to use Mozart Hotel;s rooftop bar which was lovely for evening drinks. (You actually use the reception at Mozart just round the corner).
2 main gripes- the bathtub/shower we had was a bit leaky - despite telling reception no action was taken. One of the reception staff was also rather rude.
Overall however, had a nice stay- clean comfy rooms in a good location.

Vivaldi Luxury Rooms in Rome

I really enjoyed my stay at Vivaldi, not only was the hotel nice, clean and perfectly located, the staff was helpful and that vibe was good. Charming place that I would recommend, especially if you are going to do a lot of shopping and don't want to walk far.

The location was great and the private entrance made us feel like locals, but the staff at the front desk were rude. When we asked for the internet password we were told, \"be patient! do you have patience?\" It was very condescending and made me regret spending so much money. Also the shower was dated and had too many knobs and controls to understand.

A Pleasant Surprise

These rooms are in an apartment building on what is probably the busiest shopping street in Rome. Despite the fact that these rooms were not in the main hotel building (which is a one minute walk away), the service, housekeeping, and breakfast were excellent. Free wifi and strong air conditioning in 40 degrees weather were also much appreciated.

Good hotel, good location

With a larger than average size hotel room, a good breakfast and and excellent location at a competitive price this was a good choice for us to start our vacation in Italy. Choice shopping, near the Spanish Steps, good restaurants nearby. The only drawback is the courtyard the hotel sits above is extremely noisy at times - the party on Friday night at a rooftop nearby, early Sunday morning by none knows who in the courtyard itself, the screaming baby in a room nearby. Not sure how to stop any of these noises in a common courtyard.

Es un hotel que está bien ubicado para la estancia en el centro de Roma, y cerca de todos los
monumentos principales para ver. El trato del personal y la limpieza de la habitación está bien. Las habitaciones del Hotel Vivaldi pertenece al Hotel Mozart, que es donde se hace el chek-in.
El Hotel Mozart es mejor opción siendo el mismo precio. Tiene las zonas comunes del hotel que
son de las que carece el Vivaldi, ya que sólo hay habitaciones y zona de desayuno.

La ubicación del hotel es barbara y las habitaciones del vivaldi son amplias limpias y lindas ....
El problemas es que nosotros reservamos dos noches y cuando llegamos no nos cumplieron con la reserva (problema de comunicazione) y nos tuvimos que alojar en el hotel Mozart (administrador del vivaldi) que es un hotel de menos categoría viejo y con habitaciones más chicas y antiguas....
Nos recontra quejamos pero no tuvimos alternativa ....
Fue tanto el lío que armamos que al otro día nos cambiaron al vivaldi (o sea que había habitación) pero para nosotros fue un incordio por que estuvimos sólo dos noches en Roma y tuvimos que hacer doble mudanza don doble desarmado de valijas y armado y traslado de un hotel al otro.
En definitiva, no se cumplió con lo contratado .... Una frustración para mis últimos dos días de viaje Con doble check in y doble check out ...
Muy enojado !!!!!

Utmärkt läge, men ingen hotellkänsla, renovering..

Det pågår renoveringarbete på hotellet o hantverkarna börjar kl 07 på morgonen. Det är väldigt lyhört. Det är ingen hotellkänsla då rummen ligger höst upp i ett tidigare bostadshus. Ingen fungerande hiss. Rummen är fräscha och städningen är kanon. WIFI fungerade inte under 4 dagar. Allt sköts fr moderhotellet Mozart som ligger nära. Läget är super. Gångavstånd till allt med entren mot shoppinggatan. Rekommenderar ej att bo här så länge det pågår renovering.

All'inizio un problema perchè non sapevo di dovermi rivolgere all'Hotel Mozart. Le rooms Vivaldi sono in un palazzo a parte su via del Corso e stanno sostituendo l'ascensore che quindi non è presente al momento. Mi hanno dato una stanza grande al primo piano. La colazione è ottima e il personale molto gentile. La posizione è stupenda sia per la sua storia ma anche per lo shopping e per i vari locali.

Great Hotel

Adoramos o hotel, o quarto é espaçoso, o banheiro também, tudo muito bem arrumado, bom café da manhã, muito bem localizado. As únicas ressalvas são que não tem elevador ainda, mas esta sendo instalado e que a recepção não fica no prédio do hotel, fica na outra rua e como não tem nenhum aviso ou placa a pessoa se perde um pouco.

Ideal si se quiere estar en medio de todo

Nos encantó, fuimos a pasar a Roma las últimas 3 noches luego de un largo tour europeo, por lo que veníamos de cambiar de hotel cada uno o dos días, todos 4 estrellas, lo que nos facilita la comparación. El hotel da todo lo que promete en su página web. Además la gerencia y el dueño tienen la actitud adecuada para resolver cualquier inconveniente que su personal haya causado. Seguramente volveremos.

Ein Hotel im Hotel: Der Empfang befindet sich im benachbarten Hotel Mozart. Der Page bringt die Gäste in einen Haus an der Einkaufsstrasse, dann geht es mit einem altertümlichen Fahrstuhl zum Zimmer. Tolle Lage.

コルソ通り沿いで、ローマ主要な観光スポットへ行くには大変便利でしたが、ホテル自体には看板もなく、重厚な木の扉も開かずで見つけるのは困難です。チェックイン等は徒歩三分くらいの別のホテルで行いますが、予約時には場所も要領も分からず、戸惑いました。
お部屋自体は広く快適でした。

Vivaldi- nära till det mesta

Bodde fyra nätter på vivaldi under påsken 2012. Entrén ligger på stora huvudgatan i rom! Nära till det mesta. Dock så va det rätt dåligt med bra restauranger i området. Däremot fantastisk shopping! Personalen kunde knappt engelska men var trevliga och trevlig frukost i fantastiskt fint frukostrum. Underhållet i rummen är nog sådär. Fick översvämning från brunnen under badkaret efter en stunds duschande.

Veldig sentralt, ligger ut mot Via del Corso og bare noen få minutter unna Piazza del Popolo. Veldig god service der resepsjonen var veldig behjelpelig og flinke til å forklare om man lurte på noe. Pikkolo som bar bagasjen vår og kom opp og hjalp oss med safen. Pent, stort og moderne rom med fint bad. Enkel, men deilig frokost. Eneste minus er at det var vanskelig å finne hotellet da vi ankom siden de bruker resepsjonen på et annet hotell som ligger rett ved siden av (når man bor på vivaldi får man kode til hoveddøren og etasjen sin i en bygård, på denne måten virker det ikke som et hotell, men er det når man kommer inn i etasjen sin) og dette var ikke opplyst om noe sted. I tillegg kunne vi av og til høre de snakke i rommet ved siden av, men dette var ikke plagsomt. Derimot hørte vi ikke noe bråk fra hovedgaten utenfor vinduet vårt, kun trompetspilling på kvelden som vi bare fant koselig. Et annet minus var den gamle, skranglete og trange heisen som først og fremst egnet seg til å sende bagasje i, og dette syntes vi var litt dumt når vi bodde i øverste etasje, etasje nr 4. Helhetsmessig et veldig bra hotell som anbefales på det sterkeste! I tillegg til det som er nevnt over var det et bra aircondition og gratis trådløst nett og også en pc man kunne låne gratis. Vi kunne ikke bodd bedre, verdt pengene!
