The hotel room was basic for cost. It was quite expensive. The location was in a tourist area with a wine store right downstairs. The room was clean.

Let me start by saying that the staff here is terrific—super helpful and genuinely friendly. My three-star rating is primarily due to the room itself, which feels quite small for $600 a night, and the bathroom is especially tiny. That said, perhaps this is simply the price of being in the center of Rome during the summer season. On the plus side, the room is well-stocked with breakfast essentials, and the air conditioning works perfectly.

Great location in Rome - we were a good distance from all the sights we wanted to see and were able to walk to everything. Hotel service staff was phenomenal and welcoming, the room was comfy and cozy, and everything overall was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this property was fantastic. The location was right in the middle of it all. Yet the hotel was peaceful. I found the rooms a smidgent dated. But super clean. The bell staff were superb and very hard working to go above and beyond. I would stay here again.

The open ceiling rafters in the room and the large windows to access the balcony were lovely. We could listen to the musicians in the street.
The room itself was clean and modern.
The staff were very friendly and easy to converse with. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Perfect location

Just returned from a wonderful week in beautiful Rome. We stayed in Condotti Palace Aparthotel, which was lovely. The room had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable, however, the decor could do with being brightened up as it felt a bit drab. The staff in the hotel were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. Can’t wait to return.

Great stay near Spanish Steps

Great location right off Piazza Spagna. The front desk and room cleaning staff very friendly. Our room was larger than most European rooms we stay in, but small by American standards. It was very clean, great AC and wireless internet. We even had a little balcony overlooking a courtyard where we could drink a glass of wine at night or coffee in the morning. Highly recommend!

Small room on arrival

The stay ended up be very good. On arrival, we were shown to a room which was extremely small, too small to unpack bags!! After complaining, we were shown a much larger room. The rooms do not have any Tea/coffee/refreshments available as opposed to what was in the booking. We were then given breakfast vouchers for the 3 day stay. The Staff were excellent!

Great overall value

Terrific service and terrific location. Rooms are small by U.S. standards, but very clean and nice. Considering the location and level of service, we would certainly stay there again! Be advised...the address leads you to the back door of the hotel, but one of the employees was quick to come grab us and show us around front.

What a great hotel in a great location. The staff were so helpful. Will definitely return! Waking up each morning and walking out the door was so beautiful, right next to the Spanish steps, great area, close to all the shopping. Loved it.

Whilst set in a fantastic location right next to the Spanish Steps, the room we had was tiny, and was one half of a room which had been partitioned into two...we were staying next to two extremely loud next-door neighbours and it felt like we were sharing the room with them! Don't stay here if you want a good night's sleep!

Excellent hotel. Although we have to change rooms due to an electrical problem we were upgraded to a larger room for one night- this did mean we had to then move rooms. However the location a few steps from the Spanish Steps was outstanding. The free happy drink each evening is a nice touch too. THANKYOU!

From a location point of view I have to pat myself on the back fr selecting it - it couldn't be more central and`yet the room was well sound-proofed. Whilst the room was smallish, and not to my style, the bed was large and very comfortable. The jewel, from my point of view, were the staff. We had to extend our stay for a day as my wife fell ill, but the staff were so accommodating and generous with their time and care. When i return to Rome, this hotel shall be the one I select.

The best Location ever

The best location ever
you can reach everywhere by walking
I mean every where from colessioum to Vatican city.
from airport get fast train to Termini Station , then change the line and after 3 stops you will be in Spanish steps (hotel area)14 euro for train & 1 euro for metro so if u r family of 4 it would be equal with hotel tranfer which costs 60 euros.
Its staff were very friendly specially the receptionist Paula.

This hotel locates you right in heart of shopping district Of Spagna

The first challenge with this hotel is the taxi driving finding it. That's because Expedia told me the address was Via Della Croce 15. Actually, reception is around the corner so number 15 proves to be a grey door with an intercom connected to reception. Still, the hotel was quick to come around to meet us, check us in and excitedly tell us we had been upgraded to a junior suite in the section of the hotel in Via Della Croce. The upgrade gives us a small sitting room, extra toilet and extra TV, none of which we made much practical useof except to spread out our belongings after six weeks on the road. Our bedroom had no window so we relied on opening the external door/windows facing onto an internal courtyard to get fresh air into our bedroom but at night we relied on the aircon. Breakfast was not included in our package but that was not a problem given the multitude of options kn our doorstep. The hotel offered \"free wifi\" which came with intrusive advertising and a nasty habit of invading some of our IPad apps. Still we persisted and it served our purposes. As we had a separate entrance to the rest of the hotel we had little interaction with staff over our three night stay but they did organize a limo service to the airport. For 60 euro we got a very comfortable ride to the airport to finish off our nearly six weeks in Europe with a very friendly driver. The hotel is well located in the Spagna (Spanish Steps) district which is good for shopping but all sights are walkable.

Close to Spanish Steps

The hotel where you check in for the Apartment hotel is grand. The entrance of the apartments is round the side. There are too many steps to negotiate to get to the room. When you walk in you see a pleasant room like the photos show, then are hit in the face by the huge wall about 0.5 m in front of where the bed ends. This makes you feel claustrophic. The bathrooms are beautiful, but small. Wifi works but switches itself off every little while. The TV picture was fuzzy, and no English channels. Breakfast at a price, per person is a disgrace. There are no cereals, yoghurt. The food that was offered looked most unappertising, so we skipped that. The staff were helpful and friendly. The position is good, near Spanish Steps and the metro.

Exceeded our expectations.

For the reasonable price we paid, I was expecting a typical small European hotel room with a tiny shower. I was pleasantly surprised that our top floor \"family\" room was spacious, modern, attractive, clean and comfortable with a good bathroom and even a little balcony. There was plenty of space for three adults. The service was good, and the location is beyond compare - a two minute walk to the subway and the Spanish steps, in a very safe and fashionable area. I can't think of any negatives. So glad we chose this hotel.

Superb hotel in the center of Rome

Both the staff and the room itself were excellent and even though I speak Italian there were a couple of receptions that were British, so guests who do not speak Italian had no problems. The hotel is in the very heart of Rome minutes away from Spanish steps and in the neighborhood full of interesting stores and restaurants. The room was new, bathroom was brand new and it really was an enjoyable stay. If I go to Rome again, I will definitely stay there.

the condotti palace was wonderful. anyone looking to get away from the chrome and glass generic hotels will find this hotel perfect. the staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. room was basic but always clean and comfortable. the neighborhood was very convenient to all sights and very friendly. very near the spanish steps. quite a few good non-touristy restaurants within walking minutes. i would fully reccommend this small neighborhood hotel to anyone.

Great Location- but not a typical \"Hotel\"

I chose the Condotti Palace- Aparthotel based on it's fantastic location- only 2 blocks away from the Spanish Steps. I also chose the hotel for it's \"Junior Suite\" or \"Family Room\", which consists of a large (by European standards) room with a king-sized bed and a seating area with a sofa bed. It was a perfect fit for me, however other customers may not be so satisfied. The street the front of the hotel is on can be quite noisy with restaurants and street vendors underneath. The windows in the room did a great job at blocking the noise out, but we were a little perplexed as to how to use the thermostat so we left the windows open quite a bit. The bathroom was well equipped and the toiletries were very nice.
