Very clean. Great location. Huge jetted tub…. however the drain would not hold water so you couldn’t use it. I finally placed a cup upside down over the drain and was able to get the tub to
Fill over the jets after an hour. The jets were not functional and would not turn on. The air bubbles from the bottom were operational. Don’t count on a relaxing bath or a hot tub experience! The only way to shower is with the hand wand attachment in the tub. There is not a shower curtain or any way to provide privacy from the tub/sink area and the bedroom area. There are no towel racks or even a hook to hang things on. WiFi was virtually nonexistent and incredibly slow if you could find the network. Repeatedly dropped connections and couldn’t find it again.
The property was very clean. The staff was very friendly. This could be an amazing property if they took care of a few major issues but at this time it is not a $300/night property.

This property was the biggest disappointment of our one night in Rome. The rooms do not look at all like the photos and are in terrible, dilapidated condition. Paint was peeling off the walls, the bathroom was mouldy and dirty. The bathroom hooks were falling off the wall. The shower and basin were full of rust. The bed was built in to a strange black box, and the room lighting was an odd coloured lighting system. We are not sure what the purpose of this strange lighting was but it in no way added to the room. The room also smelled faintly of smoke. We are glad we were only booked to stay one night. If we had booked to stay longer, we would have left early and found alternative accommodation. We checked out very early to catch an early train and could not have been happier to be leaving. We would not recommend this accomodation to anyone and would definitely not stay again. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere, lest you ruin your trip to Rome!

Great location and nice room. Unfortunately we were overcharged at the check in for city tax. The lady asked for €50 cash when it should have been €35. We were given vouchers for breakfast however after the room had been cleaned, the vouchers were not found.

Hay un restaurant \" IL GABRIELLO\" que se encuentra en vertical frente al hotel, es imperdible, tienen que probar lo delicioso de la comida italiana que sirven allí. WARNING AVOID AVOID This is not a Hotel, This is not a Guesthouse. It’s a room and if you want the breakfast on offer you have to leave the building and go across the road to a cafe. I have a disputed at the moment with my credit card about this diabolical establishment. When you check the reviews BELIEVE the bad reviews as they are TRUE. SCAM - SCAM - SCAM - SCAM - SCAM.

Great room! Review for iRooms Central Station iSpa

This review is not for the Spanish Steps but for the Central station iRooms. We booked the iZen suite at the Spanish steps, so that we could be close to the Spanish steps and have an in-room jetted tub. Sadly on the day of arrival we received a message that the jacuzzi in that room had been acting up and the room was out of service for a week, therefore transferring us to the iSpa suite at the iRooms Central Station. I very much enjoyed the room we received as it was clean, close to the Colosseum, easy to find, and still had a large jetted tub. The room came with a complimentary mini fridge that was restocked every day and it came with a bottle opener. The glass bathroom door to the shower and toilet room were broken, but that did not affect the use of either of the two as there was another door for the bathroom that could be closed. The iPad was a cool touch, as you could change the colors of the lights and use it like you would at home, Netflix, Spotify, etc. Only recommendation I would give the hotel is to only give admin access to the iPad so that apps could not be downloaded as I was able to do so without an iTunes password. The bed was very comfortable and the room was dark and quiet at night. The jetted tub was clean and so nice, as it was built into the floor. If this hotel was my booking I would give it a 5/5 and definitely stay again. Due to the inconvenience I give the Spanish Steps a 4/5.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!

DO NOT BOOK HERE! We showed up and no one was there to receive us. We had to go to the café next door to ask if they knew anything about this hotel and they called the receptionist to help us out. 30 mins later the manager shows up and tells us that the room was no longer available! Then HE LIED to us saying that he booked us at another one of there property '5 mins away' which was almost 3km away! They gave us an 'upgraded' room at another property which we did not want to stay in and would not refund anything. STAY AWAY from this hotel, incompetent and deceitful staff and you risk showing up with a confirmation and nowhere to stay! Ive been a gold member on hotels.com for 8 years and this was hands down the WORST stay I have ever had. Buyer beware.

Great visit to Rome.

The room was o.k. The glass table tops on either side of the bed had cracks in. Apart from that the room was a boutique style room and was very good for our purpose. Which was to sleep and shower. No coffee making faclities which is a shame. We had to eat breakfast in a restaraunt across from were the hotel was situated, but seeing this was only 15ft away it was not an issue. The hotel or rooms where situated in a back road about 100 mtrs from the Spanish Steps tourist attraction which was superb. We could not have asked for a better base to do our sightseeing tour from. The staff where very friendly and helpful. We would return to Rome which is a superb city. People led us to believe it was dirty but we did not see any off this. Every corner you turned their was another square with sometjing to see. We took a hop on hop off bus for 48 hrs which was o.k but you still had to do a lot of walking. Fitbit reading 90,000 steps over 4 days. Very good four night stay. Cost of drinks could vary greatly. Three course meal reasonably priced. Great aura around the city. Walking through history. One of thr best if not the best we have visited.

Nice quite hotel right near the Spanish steps

Great small hotel for sightseeing. In a brilliant location right next to the Spanish steps. The room was clean and spacious. The only downside was there was only one window which was facing into a courtyard so didn't let much light into the room and the internet kept cutting out.
The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast across the street was basic but nice and got us off to a good start. We stayed in the room with the hot tub which was amazing however we only used it once and I would advice anyone staying there to take full advantage of it!!

Fab stay staff were welcoming and the idioms is in a good location just off the Spanish steps. Breakfast was served in the cafe just opposite and was lovely.

The rooms were clean and comfy ... we stayed in the i cube which had funky lighting.

Great hotel in a perfect location

We had the most amazing few days in Rome, staying at Irooms Spanish steps! The room was lovely, the staff really welcoming and the location was just perfect!! We were able to walk EVERYWHERE and then come back to soak our tired legs in the big double jacuzzi bath!! The only thing missing was hot drinks in the room but that is just a preference as we are British haha :-)

Perfect hotel by Spanish Steps

I stayed in iZen and the room looked just like the photos. The jacuzzi was super relaxing after walking around Rome all day. There are many cute delicious restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included at a very authentic coffee shop in front of the hotel. I would definitely return.

This is not a hotel, but rather an 4-5 room apartment complex. The hotel has limited staff and limited hours that staff is on site. This was a problem one morning when my key wouldn't lock my door and I had to wait until the hotel staff arrived. That being said, the 2 staff members I did meet were very helpful.The hotel doesn't have a shuttle to the airport, but they can provide you with transportation to the airport at a cost of approximately 80 euros! Lastly, I stayed in the icube room. It was very small, one tiny window, the rain shower never worked, the toilet paper roll fell off the wall daily, the walls, grout, baseboards were dirty.

The location is perfect as its in the centre of rome and everything is within walking distance. The room was always very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Nanú the receptionist was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful, always smiling and happy to see us.
There is room for improvements, there was no glasses, kettle, cutlery. Also no where to seat beside our bed, a small sofa or chair and table would improve this area as not everyone wants to stay out all day, we personally stayed 4 nights and occasionally would have preferred spending a night in with food

We found the location to be ideal. All tourist hotspots (The Vatican, colosseum, termini train station) were walkable. The room was clean and tidy.

More selection in the mini fridge would have been nice.

Staff were all helpful, we had a great welcome from Ryan and Nanu helped with our transfers.

Definitely would recommend.

Fantastic location! Can't get anymore central

We were relocated from irooms Spanish steps to irooms pantheon and I'm glad they did this. Fabulous location, genuinely within walking distance to all major tourist attractions, colleusuem, pantheon , trevi fountain . The Vatican was prob the furthest with approx 25 mins walking distance but you wouldn't notice because of all the fantastic buildings you come across! Plenty of cafes and restaurants! We did struggle to locate the hotel initially so i would strongly advise you to look it up! Breakfast was a little disappointing so we only had it once.

This is not a hotel

If you are looking for a quality hotel, this is not the place for you. This is not a hotel at all. It is just 5 rooms in a residential building and it has no hotel facilities. You are on your own. The staff were friendly and helpful but the room was not properly maintained. We had to let ourselves in and out and lock the entrance behind us. The breakfast service was in the cafe across the street. This was backpacker accommodation at hotel prices. Very disappointed.

The not so good: The room needs repainting, the fridge barely gets cold, the aircon dripped a bit of water and the included breakfast in the cafe next door was a muffin and coffee. We could not get an iron.

Nice staff, good location, but very disappointing

The ihotel is not a hotel, its a room in a dirty apartment type block. This was one of the more expensive hotels that we decided on and we were very disappointed. The room was very worn and not very clean. The bath had hairs in it. the wall paper in the extremely tiny toilet had pencil drawing all over it and was peeling off. It was so small, my knees were pushed against the wall when I tried to use the toilet. The toilet had dried urine in the seat and was very dirty. The window in the toilet did not shut so you had to be careful if anyone was walking by outside. The bed was very hard and we found it very hard to sleep after a long day of sight seeing. The jacuzzi was the main reason we booked this hotel. It was dirty and and took a long time to fill. When we eventually filled it and turned it on, it trip the switch and we lost power to everything in the room. Also, one of the jets kept popping off and it had a big lump of grey hair in it. The room was not very clean in general. I looked like it may have been nice a few years ago, but this is not the high tech, clean room we were expecting for the price. I spent many hours trying to find the perfect hotel in Rome, and this room was a huge disappointment.

Loved iRooms. Funky alternative to a traditional Hotel. Nice and central - the rooms are in a great location. We didn't mind the breakfast being in the café opposite but may not be everyone's preference. The 'inclusive' choice was limited but fine for us.

A hidden gem

The hotel is located in a small lane close to the Spanish Steps, with lots of designer shops and boutiques nearby. Downstairs is a cafe where breakfast is served. I also had dinner there and there is a good choice of international dishes. Pastries and coffees were amazing. The room is small and compact, but you have everything you need. Contents in the mini-bar are free to be consumed, and there is an iPad in the room for the guests to use as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they have excellent local knowledge. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation, and will definitely stay there again next time.

NOT A HOTEL! But pretty nice rooms

I have to admit- My boyfriend and I expected a hotel and were disappointed when we got to iRooms and realized it's an old building where you climb to the first floor and there one apartment was divided into 5 nice rooms. Once we realized that, it makes sense they have no reception desk (they have one closet size room that is open for limited hours of the day with one of their staff members).

PRO:
*Location, Location, Location - Right by Spanish Steps, the major shopping streets, and walking distance to many tourist sites.
*Room is very modern- we paid extra for the \"nicest\" room iZen, with the large hot tub.
*The staff, especially Zaiga, goes out of their way to accommodate your needs.
*Breakfast is served at a nice cafe across the street. It's actually a nice set up. Very good cappuccino and orange juice, and you could grab a baked good for free or add 5 euros for a full breakfast.

CON
*No door to bathroom
*No ventilation so entire room gets steamy. One window in entire room to which you need to climb over the bathtub to get to it.
*When we got there they did not give us two sets of keys (we wanted to do separate things sometimes), eventually they agreed to give another set of keys.
*There is a large bathtub but no bubble bath liquid. Generally, for the price we paid we expected a higher level of toiletries.
*Privacy- Just as I heard our neighbors loud and clear, I'm sure they heard us.
*no lobby area
*Wi-Fi was really spotty.

Truly lovely hotel and staff. They arranged a private driver from the airport for nearly the same cost as a taxi, the room and hot tub was HUGE, we had fast Wi-Fi, and the location for tourism and adjacent restaurants are truly wonderful. The staff spoke English and provided a map and breakfast recommendation. The cafe and three nearby restaurants on the same block are wonderful, and there's a grocery store nearby. We also appreciated the complimentary daily beer and water in the fridge. The room came with an iPad that also powered mood lights, which was way cool.

If I have to write anything negative to improve is that the clothing storage and lockbox were small, and as a light sleeper I could hear the neighbors. Despite this, you have to go through 3 doors to get to your room so we didn't feel that our belongings were exposed, but we couldn't enjoy the sofa as there was nowhere to put our luggage. Two of the hot tub settings also didn't seem to work. It must get a lot of \"love\".

Anyway, we'd come back here in a heartbeat next time in Rome. Highly recommended.

IS NOT AN HOTEL BUT A B&B. THE ROOMS ARE IN A VERY CENTRAL PLACE FEW STEP FROM PIAZZA DI SPAGNA. WE STAYED IN THE IZEN ROOM, A LITTLE SMALL FROM WHAT I EXPECTED, THE BATHROOM TOO, BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT. THE JACUZZI BIG ENOUGH FOR 2 PEOPLE AND NICE LIGHT GAME.... WELL IF YOU LOOKING FOR A ROMATIC WEEK-END ...I SUGGEST YOU TO STAY AT THE IROOMS I WILL DEFINETLY BACK!

The rooms at iRooms are very unique. It's definitely tailored for modern couples with their tech decor. Although a bit small, the rooms are clean and equipped with a free bottle of water and Italian refreshments.

The location of iRooms (Spanish Steps) is great. It's in the middle of a shopping strip and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars near the hotel. Plus, the walk to Rome's main attractions are doable since your path is filled with shops that make the walking trip seamless.

The service at iRooms, however, is awesome. Zaiga, the hotel manager, makes it her mission that you enjoy your stay. Her nature goes above and beyond for her clients. Airport pick-ups can be arranged at a fee. The free breakfast is another great feature at iRooms, since the breakfast is provided by a local cafe.

Would definitely stay here again.

Great small hotel

While being with my fiancee in Rome, we stayed 4 nights at the iRooms Pantheon & Navona. As we have been moved to the other location (due to maintenance works at Spanish Steps location), we have been upgraded to iMovie room. The room was great, as well as iSpa room which we had the possibility to see. The location of the hotel, both Spanish Steps and Pantheon & Navona is just great. Full of restaurants and few minutes from important places. The staff is great and very helpful. Unfortunately the cleaning service was not too good - glasses not cleaned, dusty shelf, towels were not changed even once (demanded though). I will definitely come back to this hotel and I would recommend it to my friends. I just hope that cleaning service will be better next time.

Perfect quiet spot right next to the Spanish Steps

I booked this hotel because it looked interesting. I was in one of the more basic rooms, but it had lots of charm, a jacuzzi tub and was very comfortable. Also, really fun lighting!;-) The hotel staff was fantastic and very helpful and the breakfast spot was adorable!

Reviews were very accurate.. Great location.. Everything Clean.. You will feel comfortable and safe.. Arranged for Car Service both ways and everything was on time..Great Service.. no complaints.. Just know this.. not your typical hotel with room service.. and can get loud in the morning.. dont plan on sleeping in..

Excellent place to stay

I couldn't rate iRooms Spanish Steps highly enough. We have always stayed in hotels and were a little unsure about booking just rooms this time, but upon arrival we were put immediately at ease. We were met by Zeiga who gave us a very warm welcome, showed us how everything worked and made us feel at home. We were delighted with the room and its facilities. It was spotlessly clean, with a fridge, towels and safe. The ipad and its functions were explained clearly. Breakfast next morning was in La Buvette directly across from our accommodation and the food was excellent. This property is situated just around the corner from the Spanish Steps and the Spagna metro station and it is very accessible for sightseeing. We would most definitely recommend iRooms Spanish Steps, and thank Zeiga for her hospitality.

Boutique Apartment hotel near Spanish steps

Communication with hotel was excellent and the staff really try their best. The room has it's unique style which was a nice change. Perhaps a bit small for us for what we paid. Everything worked well and was clean. The rooms have an iPad which is a great feature. Breakfast was in a typical italian coffee shop opposite which makes an excellent change from boring hotel restaurants.

iRooms at Spanish Steps-Wonderful experience

This hotel has only 4 rooms but what a room we had. It was large (by Rome standards) and had a very comfortable bed but the icing on the cake was a jacuzzi for two complete with lights. After a long day walking around Rome, the Jacuzzi was like heaven. The hotel is so well located just two minutes from the Spanish Steps and Spagna metro (Line A). There is a small supermarket nearby if you need to purchase toiletries/ food/ wine/ beer/water. Breakfast is at the cafe across the road and is quite sufficient. The lady who takes care of it, Zaiga, is wonderful. She was so helpful and accomodating. I have stayed at 5 star hotels both in Rome and around the world but have never met a nicer or more helpful front of house person. For a completely unique stay in Rome, STAY HERE!!!

Tutto splendido, devo però lamentarmi del fatto che alla partenza la ragazza alla reception chiama il taxi e mi garantisce che in 5 minuti sarebbe arrivato... non sapeva nulla che il centro di Roma era chiuso per una maratona e il risultato è che ho perso l'aereo anche partendo 2 ore e mezza prima del volo, pagando 600 € per due biglietti un'ora dopo. Credo che il servizio di un hotel dovrebbe comprendere anche queste semplici e banali informazioni.

det var bra men något nedgånget. läget är perfekt. frukosten på La buvett är fantastisk. vi bodde i ett av jacuzzi rummen. (iroom) men vi utnyttjade inte jacuzzin. sängen är bekväm och vi sov gott. rummet är rymligt och svalt. dock saknade vi en riktig garderob. vatten, cola och en twix liknande godis fylls på dagligen i minibaren. överlag är vi nöjda men fanns en del damm i hörnen. Storstädning och uppdatering av jacuzzi hade varit önskvärt.

Excelente!!! No primeiro dia chegamos tarde para o checking e o funcionário nos esperou até as 22:00. Funcionários super simpáticos e atenciosos. Localização muito boa, perto de tudo. Café da manhã é em frente ao hotel e muito bom.

Hôtel tout près de la Piazza Spagna.

Un hôtel offrant toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un séjours à Rome. Déjeuner offert en collaboration avec un restaurant en face qui est parfait pour bien débuter la journée. L'hôtel est parfaitement situé près de la Piazza Spagna. Un mini frigo est regarni de bouteilles d'eau à tous les jours.

Hotel med 5 værelser tæt på seværdigheder i Rom.

Den første nat fik vi ikke det værelse vi havde bestilt.Vi fik et værelse uden vinduer, hvilket ikke var særlig behageligt.
Det værelse vi havde bestilt fik vi på dag 2 ved et tiden. Personalet bestod af en person som var meget venlig og hjælpsom.

Tolles Guestroom-Konzept

Tolles Guestroom-Konzept mitten im Herzen von Rom, viele wichtige Hotspots sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die sehr modern gestalteten, schallisolierten Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, freiem WLAN etc. bieten einen schönen ruhigen Gegenpol zu dem pulsierenden Leben draußen. Die Menschen an der Rezeption sind eher schon als herzlich zu bezeichen, statt einfach nur als freundlich. Auch die (optionale) hoteleigene Organisation des Transfers vom Fluhafen und zurück hat reibungslos funktioniert. Ein weiteres Highlight: Das Frühstück nimmt man in der direkt dem Eingang gegenüberliegenden Bar ein, die auch bei den Einheimischen aus dem Viertel sehr beliebt ist. Somit fühlt man sich von Anfang an weniger als Tourist, sondern eher ein bischen wie ein Anwohner im Kiez. Unser Fazit: Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Hôtel très bien placé, aucun bruit.

L'hôtel est très bien placé, a proximité des restaurants et métro. Les monuments sont situés a 15 min a pied, ce qui permet de se balader facilement de jour comme de nuit !
Le personnel est chaleureux, sympathique et disponible.
Propreté de la chambre très bien.
Le petit déjeuné compris est très bon.

spaanse trappen geboekt,3 dagen voor vertrek mail ontvangen met overboeking naar hotel in buurt van piaza navone/
pantheon.Als we daar hadden willen wonen had ik dit geboekt! Te korte tijd om iets te veranderen.
