I booked this hotel room the night before getting off our cruise ship and was I booked this hotel room the night before getting off our cruise ship and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel is adorable and decorated so well. The room was their standard room with the king bed. The bed was so comfortable which was much needed after 10 days of sightseeing through Italy and Greece. And the shower was the highlight! If you stay here say yes to trying all the water therapy choices in the shower. Also, an added bonus was that the tv has an option to choose international and all English channels. Not that tv was our focus but it was nice background noise while packing and nice I could understand the shows. I highly recommend. Easy to walk to (closest sight was the Spanish Steps) but easy to get to everywhere we wanted to revisit from the last weekend we were in Rome.

The property has a beautiful entrance. Loved the style and the staff was friendly and helpful. They “upgraded” our room but I am not sure I liked that room layout as well as the one I booked.
The WiFi did not work well at all and neither did our AC. Our room was hot and we would try to lower it and it never kicked on.
The location was excellent.

The hotel is in a great location - can walk to all sights easily. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Has an elevator. Check in was very quick and seamless. My only issue was the noise. Our room was located over the restaurant and next to other restaurants. The staff would drag the tables and chairs in and out every morning and night and it would wake us up very early and I was unable to fall asleep until after they were put away. Can hear everything on the street. I think if I would have had ear plugs would have been ok. If noise doesn’t bother you, the hotel is perfect. Breakfast was small buffet - eggs, cheese, potatoes, bread, pastries.

Great central location. The room was beautiful and clean. Only two complaints. It is a very noisy area and the room was too warm and we couldn’t find any temperature controls. Both made sleeping difficult.

The room was rough around the edges. The walls were very neat up. The hotel that they brought us to wasn't in the main hotel. It was in the annex building which was 2 blocks away from the main hotel which had no elevator and two flights of stairs.

Great location but…

Location was great as it was close to many attractions such as the steps, Trevi fountain, pantheon. Shopping was literally right around the corners.

The room was in very good condition but we were situations about 3min from where we checked into the hotel. We also didn’t have an elevator in our building.

The last thing was being asked to pay for the hotel/city taxes in cash. They wouldn’t accept payment in any other form, which made it inconvenient.

We had a great stay at this hotel, friendly staff, great location and comfortable bedding. The room was very spacious with a good size closet. The only thing is that it’s a very small elevator, thankfully we were on the third floor so we used the stairs a few times going up and down. Otherwise it was perfect.

The room was nice and clean, and has all the amenities that you need. The bed was comfortable and I felt great to sleep in. The hotel is surrounded by lot of shops and restaurants which made the stay really convenient. Spanish Steps is only a 5-minute walk and within 30 minutes walk for other main attractions. If you’re planning for guided day trips, the meeting point is usually at Piazza Apollo which is only within a 10-minute walk from this hotel. It is a safe neighborhood and I would definitely stay here again for my next Rome visit.

Great location.. walkable distances to several notable attractions. Quick easy access to a variety of food options. Prime location for shopping, luxury & value souvenirs. The hotel was great. Very clean and the rooms are plush with a luxury styled decor in the bathroom area. A/c was cold. The elevator is a lil small but operated perfectly. You won’t be disappointed choosing this hotel for your stay.

Beautiful brand new hidden gem mins away from the Spanish steps. It’s on a pretty quiet block - the room was beautifully designed, in a great luxurious part of the city with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The included breakfast every morning was delicious - and the staff was really kind and attentive. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone staying in the area!

The staff was very accommodating to us. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready. We walked around and they provided a solution much earlier than our check in. We appreciated the bellman and staff they were great. The bed was so comfy, and the room and hotel were so clean. The area is in a wonderful location that’s close to shopping and many restaurants. It was such a great team at this hotel and the “Espresso” helped out daily.

We had a great stay at The Steps. It’s perfectly located to walk to most if not all major destinations in Rome city center. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was a little noise from neighbors but easily drowned out with a white noise machine.

Simply brilliant location, all the key sights in walking distance so could visit them multiple times / at different times of the day. Very safe but lots of city life. Hotel felt ‘special’, very limited amenities but that was clear when we booked. The staff could not have been more helpful (there was a taxi strike on the day we left and they quickly gave us options to get to the airport). Def RECOMMEND with teenage kids who also wanted a bit of independence. Great location for shopping but save up beforehand!

Great stay! However at one point my husband left the room to grab water and someone else walked into the room after few minutes and walked back out. That was kind of weird. Also the power went out while i was showering for a couple of minutes. Other then that...room was nice and bed was extra comfy. I would stay here again as location was perfect for us, tons of walkable reataurants and close to everything but i would get a bigger room.

This wonderful hotel really shows true hospitality. From the owners to the staff, everyone constantly was looking to assist in anything I needed, we’re all incredibly friendly and reliable and I genuinely loved the hotel. The location is incredible right near the Spanish steps, but even if it was not in center city, I would stay there again just because he hotel was super clean, well taken care of, and the absolutely incredibly hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing place! All renovated. Only 5 rooms. We stayed at the Jr Suite that is beautiful! Ana was our receptionist and she is amazing! She gave us recommendations for restaurants, made reservations and helped with luggage to the room! Everything was clean, organized and with a great smell at the room! They did not had availability for us to stay more 4 nights, but they found us a room at their mothership hotel for a good deal price! We met Sandra that is the hotel’s manager and she is an amazing! I will stay there next time in Rome!

We stayed at this during our vacation in Italy. Unfortunately our experience was disappointing despite the good location.
İ injured my ankle and asked the reception for some ice to reduce the swelling. I was told that the restaurant was closed and there was nothing they could do, but ı could try asking the restaurant staff myself. When we went over and tried to politely get their attention,the staff simply ignored us and turned away.
We went back to reception and asked if they assist us, but they refused, saying the restaurant is operated by a third party and they could not help. Not even a simple attempt to assist or show basic courtesy was made.
In a situation involving a minor injury, having access to something as basic as ice or even a minimal first aid response should not be this difficult. The lack of empathy and willingness to help was very disappointing. Also, the breakfast was very bad. There is never enough variety. On the first day, the croissants, breads, and pastries were all stale. This morning when we sat at a 4-person table for breakfast, even though the area was empty, the waiter came and warned us saying ‘you are two people, you cannot sit at a 4-person table, get up and move to a two-person table.’ It was truly a very bad experience.

Overall,while location is good, the service and customer care were far below expectations.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. My TV did not work the entire stay even thought several people tried to fix it. The last night water was coming down the wall from the room above the bathroom. Their idea of a fix was to put towels down on the floor.
