Perfect location, but prepare for some quirks

You honestly can’t beat the location — right in the heart of everything. But check-in is a bit chaotic. You're supposed to call three days in advance to confirm the arrival time and then call an Italian number once you’re at the door. Not super intuitive, especially if you're juggling multiple travel plans.

That said, once we got in touch, the reception team was fantastic — super helpful and accommodating. There’s even space to store luggage before check-in, which was a big plus.

The space itself goes by multiple names (we booked Relais but ended up at Flâneur — apparently, they’re the same thing?). Our room was tiny but had everything we needed. The bathroom, though, could use some TLC: it felt a bit rundown, some mold on the ceiling, and it really needed a more thorough clean. Also, the walls could use a refresh — a bit scruffy in places.

The air conditioning worked great, and despite being right on Via del Corso, street noise wasn’t an issue. But it's an old building, so we could hear people talking in other rooms and every door opening like it was happening right next to us.

All in all, it’s a solid spot to stay for a night or two while exploring Rome — just go in with realistic expectations. It's not luxury, but it gets the job done.

The location was amazing! It was right in the center of the main shopping district. Both the room and the bathroom or larger than most we experienced in Europe. The staff was amazing. We had a mobility scooter delivered for my mom, which they kindly kept in their very large storage closet for us. It was there when we arrived, and we left it there when we departed. I would highly recommend this hotel.

First I wasn't aware this hotel didn't have a front desk services 24h or either at cafetoria. Then, the day we check in, the elevator broke and we have to request to get luggage up to our rooms. Furthermore, this hotel is located in a street that becomes pedestrians only through the day and is not available for vehicles to get in or out, only in the very earliest hours in the morning, that's an inconvenience if you have to change in/out in the middle of the day. For sure I wouldn't recommend it. The people at hotel try the best to accommodate due to the inconvenience, still it was too much aggravation

The room’s carpet was very dirty and it was clear that the daily cleaning of the room’ floor was deficient. There were no glasses to drink water. In 8 days never changed towels neither bed sheets.

This hotel was a great find! The room was spotless, seriously clean and tidy. Everything was just where it should be. Plus, the location was perfect. We were so close to everything we wanted to see. It made getting around super easy. Also we had balcony in our room which was perfect Definitely recommend this place if you want a comfortable stay without breaking the bank. There was mold growing in the shower area, and the exhaust fan was almost blocked with dust [I have a picture for proof]. This isn't a hotel as you must arrive before 4 p.m. Furthermore, the proprietor had an attitude if you asked for something after 3:30 p.m. during our stay.

Decent basic stay in excellent location by Piazza del Popolo. Walkable to your start spots and major sites. Room wasn’t ritzy or flashy, but covered the basics well. Had a mini fridge and closet area to hide away luggage. Clean. 5th floor room had elevator but involved stair access up and down from elevator to room door.

We were really happy with the suite and the location; would definitely recommend, especially if you are planning to shop!

Our only complaint was that after our second night, there was no longer a response from the management. The space isn’t a typical hotel, and there is only someone in the office in person for several hours a day, and then only reachable via WhatsApp. Unfortunately they stopped responding to our messages regarding a request to schedule a taxi pickup, and we had to figure it out in our own. Thankfully that was manageable, but what if it had been a more pressing matter to which we needed assistance?

We were told that our room was upgraded when we arrived. It was in a very convenient location and some good amenities, elevator,
small frig with water, juice and drinks for free and coffee, tea and small breakfast snacks. Unfortunately, we had issues with a bad mildew odor smell coming from the shower. We contacted the property and asked for a new room, they said there weren't any. For two days in row, we complained about the odor which was making us nauseous and sick. They promised a Technician would take care of it. Taking care of it appeared to consist of spraying cologne/perfume to mask the odor. As soon as we showered, the bad odor can back immediately and stronger. We cannot recommend staying here again since they did not resolve a very serious issue and it became an unpleasant stay at their property. This was not a hotel, it was more of an AirBnb.

This is not a hotel but a residence, it means you have your room but not really anything else. Entry to the building is with a code, there is someone in the office only when there are arrivals. If you leave very early you have to slide the key under the door of the office, no cafeteria.
If you don’t mind this type of accommodation, the room is very comfortable, seems newly renovated (although some things are still pending like some holes son the walls were the old lamps were )
It was a good experience but only recommend if hotel expectations are super high.
