This is a fantastic location, in a quiet, private square near Piazza Popolo. The apartment itself was large and spacious, very well decorated and comfortable. Not cheap but, in my view, offered so much more than 2 hotel rooms. Easy walk to Spanish steps and shopping area. Plenty of choice with nearby restaurants and bars. Staff were there to assist throughout the day if needed.

You can’t beat the location. Nestled in a quiet courtyard yet surrounded by art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants, it’s a perfect base for walking to Rome’s iconic landmarks.

Both Flaminio and Spagna metro stations are within a short stroll, making it easy to get around.

The staff were friendly and responsive.

Overall, service was warm and professional, contributing to a smooth experience.

We had a great stay at My Extra Home Rome. Check-in was quick, and the staff kindly let us check in early once the room was ready. The apartment was large, clean, and comfortable, with good AC, a washer and dryer, and a handy kitchenette.

The location was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and main attractions.

Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Rome!

What a beautiful apartment ! In a great location, walking distance to many of the great sites in Rome or take a cab , the pick up area for the taxi was right around the corner. Lots of great restaurants near by including one at the building. Staff was very helpful. Great place to stay.

Amazing apartment, from comfort, cleanliness, and location. Arrived and were able to check in slightly early. We were quickly given an overview of the space. It is located in a nice quiet street, near restaurants, shopping, and walking distance to major sites. Would definitely stay again.

Our apartment was modern and beautiful and in a perfect location for walking the streets of Rome to shop, eat, and see the sights! The staff were very hospitable and the amenities were perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed relaxing on our private terrace and dining in the restaurant in the beautiful central courtyard. We would absolutely come back to stay again in Piazetta Margutta!!

Apartment A1/2 Good things about our stay: excellent walkable location between piazza de Spagna and Popolo. Spacious living room area. Clean and updated bathrooms. Washer/dryer. Comfortable beds. Easy to arrange car service for airport transfers. What we did not like: ground floor apartment is truly a garden or basement apartment (slightly street level on one side). Lower side faces courtyard and restaurant noise as well as people coming and going sounds like they are in the apartment with you. Quiet from 12:30 am to 6:30 am. Walls had chipped paint and dirty spots in many locations, curtains were old and torn in places and previous renter’s food was left in fridge which did not give me confidence on the cleaning efforts.

I love this neighborhood and will definiteLy stay in this area on my next trip. It was a smaller area than most of the neighborhoods but still had lots to see and do. Plenty of dining but after the crowds in Rome it was lovely to come back to this neighborhood. Walking distance to public transportation.

This property felt new. Very clean. We loved the restaurant downstairs and liked having a kitchen.

I let them know about some issues with the room so they can fix them:
1.The bathroom overflows with water when we shower. We’ve had this problem since we arrived and it was stressful. We had no way to dry it up, and when we asked for extra towels, we were told that towel sets had an extra charge.
2.Inside the shower, there is nowhere to place the soap. It’s uncomfortable to open and close the door. There should be a wall dispenser with soap already inside — that would be perfect.
3.The doorknob on the front door comes off, and you end up holding it in your hand.
4.The air conditioners don’t cool properly or might be broken. We spent all three nights sleeping in the heat with the windows and doors open. Unacceptable!
5.They charge 40-euro late check-in fee seems unfair. I believe sending the gate code would be enough to get in. This is how it’s done with Airbnbs, and there’s was no extra charge in others airbnb’s. I didn’t need anyone to receive me — I just needed to get in to sleep. The taxes could’ve been charged later; I would’ve gladly come by in the morning.

I loved the location, and the room aesthetic though — that part was great.
I would not stay again.

Stayed at the 1 bedroom apartment. The unit is spacious and was clean upon our arrival. A/C, washer/dryer and all other appliances were in perfect working condition. Safe security box was useless, because it was not attached to the wall or furniture so the potential thief would just take the whole thing. Location is spectacular, high end region of Rome, 3 minutes walk from Piazza del Popolo, tucked in a quiet street, protected from the hordes of tourists. Customer Service phone line was somewhat annoying, as each call was taken by a different agent, and apparently they did not share among themselves the customer's contact history. In general a positive experience and I would definitely stay at Piazza Margutta again.

Rome is beautiful place to visit. Food is great in the area. Overall good experience. What we did not like is paying 25e in cash for late check in which was no fault of our own as our plane arrived late at this location and the late fee was just pocketed. No reception in the evening hours and limited staff in day time only overall process to get to your room is to long. Definitely room for improvement you will have to purchase basic supply for your room including toilet paper

We absolutely adored this place! The location was perfect, right next to all the main attractions but not too close. It was also super cute and charming. The staff was so friendly and helpful. And the restaurant in the courtyard was amazing! We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next visit.

A very lovely stay in Rome. Apartment was well equipped - fab for a family of 4 to have a washing machine as really helped keeping packing to a minimum. Terrace was lovely to sit out on. Two bathrooms were very nicely done out. We hope to return at some point as I am very much missing being there! Staff were very friendly and helpful too. Top marks all round

A wonderful stay for a family of 4. The apartment was quiet, clean and beds were very comfortable. The patio out front was a definite plus for a sunny morning coffee. The location was perfect to walk to the main sites and had many excellent restaurants and shopping near by. Très bien situé pour le train ( pas trop long à marcher avec les valises). Près de la piazza Del Popolo et Parc Borghese. 👍
Par contre c'est lumineux la nuit malgré les rideaux alors dormir avec un loup c'est préférable.
Pas trop de bruit sauf vers minuit quand ils sortent les poubelles des restaurants avoisinants.
Comme déjà mentionné par d'autres clients, il n'y a pas de linge à vaisselle, alors on a pris des serviettes.
À part ça, c'est sécuritaire grâce à la porte grillagée et le code d'entrée.

Great apartment, perfect location

Great place for a base in Rome - the location is perfect. Our apartment was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable (even the sofa bed). Our room had a terrace which was beautiful when the sun was out - plus there is a restaurant downstairs from the apartments which is excellent.

Will definitely return here when visiting Rome in the future.

They arranged pick up from the airport as well as transportation back to the airport at a very reasonable rate. We would fully recommend .

The location of the flat is safe and convenient, but unfortunately, our stay was marred by poor communication and service. The plug sockets in the property were inconsistent throughout, so we were unable to use our standard two-pin adapter and had to scramble to find a three-pin one before the shops closed. The appliances work only in particular areas which is frustrating.
The online support team was disappointing—unhelpful and robotic. We reached out for assistance to enhance our stay for a special birthday celebration but received no response at all.
Overall, the experience could have been much better if they had been more proactive and attentive.

This place was very nice. We especially liked that they had a washer/dryer machine. The only thing we didn’t like about the apartment we were in is that the bedroom windows could use some blackout blinds. The lights from the restaurant outside were very bright and shined into the bedroom all night making it difficult to sleep. There were drapes in the bedroom, but if you closed them, it blocked the air conditioning.

Although the property was nice the lady at the front desk was just a nightmare to deal with. She was incredibly rude; even denying us access to the room because we told her we would pay the late checkin fee ( yes there is a late checkin fee if you arrive after 7pm) in the afternoon because we had not exchanged dollars to Euros yet. If felt like she thought we were going to pay. Everyone else was nice but this lady was horrible. Ruined the whole stay for us; she did not even open the door for my 11 year old daughter while my daughter was struggling with her luggage.

This company charged me for damage that was done on there sofa when I did not commit any damage to anything whatsoever this place is just fraud and take your money, they’re staff told me that I should be letting them know about these things but I am a guest not a worker at this company to be looking around or noticing any issues to there rooms, completely unacceptable. Avoid staying here at all costs if you want to get scammed, terrible experience.

This is a very nice apartment, well laid out and furnished beautifully. I could have sworn that it was advertised as 2 bathrooms, but actually had 3...all with a shower. There was 5 of us so it was really nice. Very spacious with terraces etc. Located on a prestigious street with a restaurant downstairs called Babbets which was awesome. We walked everywhere from this location. Highly recommended.

The photos were very different from what we got. No balcony, very dark property. The apartment was not nice at all. It had a strange smell, one of the bedroom windows faced the place were they collected the garbage of the entire property, the other bedroom had two tiny windows that couldn’t be opened (very dark room) but had so much noise that was impossible to sleep. It was right next to a kitchen restaurant that closed at midnight and the cooks and janitors arrived at 6am to clean, talking so loud and moving the iron tables. We heard the buzzer of all other guests entering the rest of the property as if it was sounding in our pillows as well as everyone’s conversations !! It seems they don’t like Expedia clients and this is the 2 bedroom they assign. It’s not worth what you pay.
However, the property is incredibly well located.
