At this time of year there were not many guests at the hotel. It appeared that no more than a few rooms were occupied. Yet, when we arrived early - we were told to wait. Ok, lunch in town and a walk around - and yet when we returned we were not allowed in our room until the designated time. Not very friendly or helpful

This is the best old school hotel ive ever stayed at. Beatiful location staff was great. My only negative is no ice dispencer, I get it but the ice was frozen into a block and with no Ice picks availble had to put the block in the tub to melt a little so i could break off a piece.

This hotel was the perfect spot for a girl’s road trip! The room was perfect and the decorations in the hotel were so cute! The staff at the hotel were so nice, the staff at the restaurant were not as friendly. The location of this hotel was perfect; we were able to walk to downtown.

I would give 4.5 stars. The tub filled up during our showers, the bed frame was squeaky, and mattress was a little hard. We loved the staff, the quiet, and the amenities. We chose this hotel for the Yellow Springs location but spent $100 more per night than other hotels a little farther away. Overall, we would stay again.

I wish we could have actually stayed through the night and enjoyed breakfast as planned. We kept trying to give chances to make it right but was left with being told thank you. We booked the suite just for a relaxing evening and the tub doesn't work. I called the front desk and was told sorry and then thank you. No offer to switch rooms. We checked out around midnight because the bed was hard as a rock and when we went downstairs with all our luggage the person at the front desks just checked us out and said we're all set like it wasn't obvious we didn't plan to not use something we spent money on. I didn't even try to mention anything to him, I could tell he just wanted us gone

Beautiful hotel! Very friendly staff and a beautiful room. And in the perfect location to walk everywhere in Yellow Springs. The only downside was that the HVAC system in the room is noisy and the rooms could be more soundproof. We have been here before this visit and we will visit again. We were visiting Cedarville University and this was a 10 min to the school. I absolutely loved the hotel as it reminded me of Gilmore Girls and the staff were very friendly and the place was clean. Definitely would stay here again!

The hotel and our room was lovely, but the room was not quiet when it was time to sleep. The heating unit was extremely loud, outside traffic noise annoying and construction on building created noise after dark. Breakfast did not offer hot chocolate so we purchased some but it was not great and didn't have whipped creme. The breakfast choices we ordered were delicious. Hot water for shower and sink took a Very long time to arrive and much water was wasted while waiting for the hot. We really like this hotel though and have stayed there in the past.

Beautiful hotel! We came for a Chappelle show and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Pretty rooms and clean. The restaurant is wonderful. Bring a small cooler in as there are no mini-fridges in room. Also, there was not an iron, but I asked a the desk and they brought one up. Great staff and service!
