Kitchen equipment was not in the room, but could be checked out at the front desk if you needed it.
The card scanner on the south door was disconnected, so people were propping the door open, or you had to use to the front entrance.
Also the term breakfast \"buffet\" was a stretch as the offerings consisted of coffee, muffins, granola bar, and instant oatmeal. Perhaps some fresh fruit, yogurt cups, and juice or milk could make this more of a buffet than limited items that were offered. Finally on the morning we left, someone with a dog did not pick up after the pet, and there was feces near the main entry. Not a very welcoming image.

I never got to stay there they said I never had a reservation. I need a full refund It’s a scam on hotels.com. My booking shows we had a Deluxe Studio, Multiple Beds, Non Smoking but hey gave us the room that was Deluxe Studio, queen size bed and sofa bed, Non Smoking. Our room was located directly above the office and with in 15 minutes of us getting into the room they started complaining about the kids making noise. If not do those things I would have been happy with our stay

So, this is a fairly run down property. The room had a strange odor, and the cable TV did not work until I fixed it after borrowing a screwdriver from the (friendly) front desk. The hallways had bits of debris scattered about. The advertised 'breakfast' consisted of granola bars, pre-packaged muffins, & oatmeal packets. I understand this is an extended stay but how can you prepare oatmeal if your room has no utensils? Friendly front desk but otherwise not a place I will stay in during my next visit to Dayton.

If I had to, I'd stay again....

Ok. Heres the thing. They are not the Hilton. So lets have that mindset walking in.
The staff. Amazing! Friendly, helpful and kind.
The hotel and rooms. Honestly, need some TLC. They aren't staff with numerous cleaners throughout the days so the halls, etc aren't kept spotless. Which is a downfall, IMO. Just pay cleaners to be there all day. The hallways are off-putting. The elevator is dirty as well. Again, hire full-time cleaners!
The rooms are huge! And I was thankful for having the place to stay. Honestly. With that said. They really need an overhaul. Some updating.
If you standards are low and you're looking for a cheap rental for some time. This is a good place.

Room was well appointed but definately dated. The landscaping is in need of upkeep. The property allows pets and there is alot of dog poop in the grass around the hotel and the poop barrel was full and overflowing. Cigarette butts all over the ground outside of each door. It seems that the staff stopped caring and the property shows.

Bar far the worst hotel we have stayed and made worse by how much we paid.
Hotel smelled bad the second we walked into front desk. Creepy men in parking lot and 1st floor of hotel..felt unsafe for me and my kids. Room smelled horrid (smoke and animals), carpet stains everywhere. Bathroom in room was filthy. They advertise breakfast in am and when I asked to cerify its coffe and to go muffins. We left asap and expedia helped get our money refunded for the night and we stayed somewhere else.

Smelled terrible both in the hallway (smoke, weed) and in the room (moldy). It was pretty dark in the room. Even though we booked a 2 bed room, they gave us 2 1 king size bed rooms because they were all booked out. Their breakfast was very poor. They only had small muffins and breakfast bars.

The property staff were friendly and accommodating — no complaints there. However, the condition of the hotel building left much to be desired. There were noticeable stains on the carpet (possibly blood or wine), and many of the stairwell doors didn’t close properly, leading to loud slamming noises throughout the night. A strong, musky odor greeted us upon entering the room, which was unpleasant. Overall, the hotel is in need of significant renovation and general upkeep.

It smelled, there was short black hair all over the shower walls and all over the bathroom floor, the room was way too hot and muggy even with the ac on, and the shower felt like bullets on my skin because the preassure was so hard it hurt. The only thing i liked about this place was the front desk staff. They were super nice and super understanding.

worse than an old run down motel!

Seems like a well worn out place in desperate need of demo and rebuild. Carpets all stained, restrooms really smelled like cig smoke, and holes in walls, fake veneer tile floor bubbling up, vent completely clogged, sink drain almost clogged up. I can go on. This was literally the last place I could find for our family of 6 to go to a graduation, and would have gone to a different place had I found one.

It was oblivious that our room had not been cleaned or vacuumed. There were still several crumbs on the counter, crushed up chips on the floor, sticky cup rings left in the end tables, and that was just the bed area. The bathroom still had hair in the tub, brown rings in the toilet and specks of unrecognizable substance on the back of the door and walll in the bathroom. My feet were black from walking from the bathroom to the bed…

The sheets had not been changed, but they did give us a new set. There was hair in the shower. No coffee maker in the room. It would be hard to call it breakfast. Granola bars with sugar, coffee, sugary oatmeal packets, and tiny sugary packaged muffins. Great meal if you like sugar. At least the room was quiet.

This was probably the worst place we’ve ever stayed. The ad for this hotel says smoke free but it definitely is not. The rooms and halls reeked of smoke and just overall dirtiness. The rooms were not clean and some of the door locks were removed. The people beside us had their music playing very loud and were talking very loudly. If I could give this place zero stars I would. We left after two hours because we did not feel safe and it was not clean. When we requested a refund the lady at the front desk was very rigid and rude and denied a refund of any kind. I would not recommend for girls travelling alone to stay here… or to be honest anyone. It was terrible.

Unfortunately, there was an odor you noticed as soon as you walked into the room. Definitely seemed like an animal had urinated on the sofa sleeper. We brought it to the staff’s attention, and they did what they could to make our stay comfortable. Also promised to address the issue. Unfortunately, they were full, and there was not an option to change rooms.

It's been our 31st day travelling and we've seen many hotels but this one was the worst by far. The stained sheet got replaced although we had to put it on ourselves but the smell in the room is overwhelming - I could not wait to get out. It would be better if we slept in a car! I do not know what the smell is and I did not notice it at first but despite open windows the smell was creeping on me. I didn't sleep well and started feeling nauseous by the morning. It all disappeared when we got out. Also the breakfast had a few muffins and instant oatmeal and hot water. Not even coffee when we were out fro breakfast.

It’s was less than what I expected. The phone didn’t work, so I had to walk down to the lobby desk to ask for extra bedding. There were 3 of us, slept 4 has pullout sofa but no pillows or bedding for it. Only 1 wash cloth and not enough towels. I had to go down to ask for more.. the staff member said, “did you bring any dirty to exchange?” I didn’t know I had to take my own dirty towels to get clean ones but I didn’t have any just needed extra clean bc not enough for the number of people in our party. The tv remote also didn’t work.
The lady at front desk when we checked in was nice. We didn’t get any info though on breakfast or where we could find it.

There were spiders crawling around in the room, the bed was incredibly hard and very uncomfortable. In order to get the bathroom door to shut completely, you had to slam it shut. The kitchen was not fully stocked, you had to ask for anything and everything that you needed … from pans to spatulas to utensils. There were also no ice machines at the hotel.

I booked a room with two queen beds and a pull out couch. I get there and end up getting two \"Queen deluxe \" rooms that weren’t even next to each other. The explanation given was because they're allowed to be overbooked by three rooms and because i was the last one of the three overbooked, i wasn't given the room that i reserved. The rooms they gave us, were not ideal for my family because we now had to split up into two rooms. We had to decide which minors would go with which adults and so on.
The beds in the rooms were definitely NOT queens, more like fulls. There waa one trash can and it was in the bathroom. One room smelled like someone had cooked fish in it. Dropped something on the floor and it went under the bed. Unfortunately i looked under there and GROSS. Obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Cob webs on the walls. Breakfast was muffins, coffee or granola bars. The lady that checked me in was nice and apologetic but that was the only thing good about this stay at this hotel.

I did not like this property because it claims to be smoke free, but it only smelled of cigarette smoke in the hall, and then the room was not clean at all. My husband and I took one look around the room, and completely left, checked out.. and got a room elsewhere. Completely disappointed that this is presented as a nice place to stay online, but it is completely terrible in person. Had to spend days trying to get my money refunded, it finally was but it shouldn’t have taken that long to fight for it because the property is just not up to par. They can’t expect people to stay there once they see the conditions.

I have 3 little children and I refuse to just have them sitting in a building that reeks of cigarettes.

We were upgraded as I didin't originally know my daughter would also be staying, so the room needed linens for the pull out couch but the problem was promptly addressed. The only real problem was the room was really hot for our tastes and the heater, though we turned it down to 58, was still a bit warm. I think that may have been because the weather had been unseasonably warm recently, so many businesses probably had that issue in Ohio. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Check-in wasn’t bad. The clerk was dealing with someone having a problem that didn’t speak English. After about ten minutes he stepped away and let me check-in. My check-in was quick and easy. Got to my room and got looking around. Room was dated but clean. No signs of bugs but it did smell like a stale ashtray (nonsmoking room). Bed was good and the HAVC worked as it should. I was awakened in the middle of the night by some woman yelling at someone. She was not happy about something. Her yelling didn’t last long and I got back to sleep. Woke up and got ready for work. The shower was ok. The hot water was good but the pressure left something to be desired. The toilet was clean and flushed well. The vent fan sounded like a 1986 Honda Civic missing a piston. Checkout was easy and they had some quick breakfast items. Oatmeal and granola bars with “coffee”. I wouldn’t not stay there again for the price. Not sure if I would make it my first place to stay.
