The hotel is awesome but the staff really make the experience pleasant. We felt at home from the minute we walked through the front door. There is plenty of free parking and the area is close to a beautiful park. The breakfast is open to 10:00 AM which means I don’t have to set an alarm to get up and have some food. Rinn checked us in and kept a close watch to make sure we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Andrea took over and was also super helpful and always with a big smile! Overall a wonderful experience

Great modern property in the Dayton suburbs. Had decent breakfast and plenty of close, free parking. Plenty of good shopping and dining options close at hand. When we had a \"issue\" with a \"noisy neighbor\" they did try to make it up to us. If you have business or family near Centerville, Beavercreek, Kettering, or Dayton, it is a wonderful place to stay. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Upon arrival, there were two long hairs on the bathroom floor that weren't ours.
Although the room had many amenities, I found the two dark walls and dark carpeting made the room dark and depressing to be in.
Free parking and free breakfast were a plus!

The lobby is not very welcoming and certainly lacks visual appeal as well as comfort. When we arrived, the lobby was packed with families with small children. Children were running all over yelling and running into other guests. Not whgat people in their 80's expect to great them. We had planned to use the pool, but when I checked it was full of unsupervised children as was the exercise room.
Breakfast was about the quality one would expect from a free breakfast. Although breakfast was served until 10 a.m., when we arrive at 9 , there was a definite shortage of plates, silverware, and food. This was true 3 of the 4 days we were there.
Room service was a joke. I had to make the bed every day, the trash was only emptied once, and someone from housekeeping came to the door only once to see if we needed anything. We were there from Thursday, to Monday, and nothing in our room was ever cleaned during that entire stay. At well over $200.00 per night, this whole experience was pathetic (and yes, we have stayed at various suite hotels before and there is no comparison)
The location is great! The restaurants and other businesses were all top notch and within an easy walk.

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. Perhaps the hallways could benefit from an air freshener, as there was a slight musty odor, but aside from that, it was a wonderful experience, and we would gladly return.

The location is also great, within walking distance to several restaurants and a short drive to lots of nearby things to do. My experience was so good that I’ll probably look for Home 2 Suites when booking future hotels anywhere!! 10/10

This was by far the best hotel we have been in, and we travel a LOT! The staff was fantastic, and even when there was an issue with a bad battery in the door lock, they took care of it immediately. At breakfast, they ran out of one specific type of food, and even though it was only half an hour left, the lady made me some personally! Loved this room and will definately stay here if we are in Dayton again!

We booked two rooms together, and they weren't even on the same floor. We had to split up siblings and everyone was quite upset. At check in, the clerk said there wasnt anything he could do, and would discount our stay only to find out at checkout that was accurate or something he was able to do. Very disappointing all around

We’ve stayed here in the past and had wonderful experiences. This time, was not the case. With that said, staff was wonderful in trying to help. The first room we had (4th floor) smelled musty. It was horrible!!! The bed sheets even felt a little damp. The smell did not get better! The bed was lumpy. I mean so lumpy it was causing back pain. We asked for a new room. We were given a new room no issues.

New room didn’t smell at all. But, shower doors were broken. Completely! Couldn’t close or open which made the floors super slick and were out of conditioner completely. Unsure we’ll stay at this location again. A bit disappointed. But again, staff was great!

I always stay at Home2 when I visit family. About 4x year. When I checked in I was punished for using Expedia to book my stay. We always get a small gift bag with water and some snacks. This time the lady said no when I asked because I used a 3rd party to book. I didn't understand when she said no. She relented and gave me 2 waters but no snacks that were right there. I knpw it seems petty for me to complain but I wasn't going to buy water from them, when it's always been compt. I use the bottled h2o to make coffee in my room. Tap water is not good.

I booked a room here to stay for a night and had to switch rooms twice due to the rooms being dirty upon arrival. The first room had masses of hair in the bedsheets. When we asked to switch, the 2nd room they offered smelled as though they were trying to cover up a previous stays smoking with some sort of strong chemicals. The third room ended being OK. When we reached out to the hotel and expedia to refund for the experience, the hotel said they would, but then when expedia reached out for approval from the hotel, they denied it. Very frustrating experience overall.

The location was close to many options for dining out including costco. The room and mini kitchen was decent size. However the bed and pillows were not very comfortable and we were unable to get our room serviced despite multiple requests. Yes they serve breakfast but its very minimal and they dont keep it refreshed, we found at 9am and hour before it wraps up without many options..it was subpar, go with Holiday Express instead.

Perfect stay!

Everything was perfect, clean, spacey and quick check in. The topper for me was the water pressure in the shower. Lord have mercy I didn't want to get out the shower lol! This will be my go-to ALWAYS going forward when we come to Dayton! Thank you for showing us what a great stay looks like! Btw we slept so comfortably that we slept through breakfast! Maybe next time!

It would have received an excellent rating, but had 1 major flaw.
the swimming pool is only about 78 degrees. The late afternoon desk clerk said that maintenance told her that it was set on 85 and was working correctly.
False,, no warm water was coming out of jets the 3 times I checked it.
the last time I stayed here, maintenance turned it up and it warmed up quickly.

We loved the room setup. The ability to fix your own food and have real dishes and silverware in the room and even a dishwasher to clean them with. The breakfast was outstanding with real dishes and silverware and a great selection of food - even sugar free syrup since I'm diabetic was greatly appreciated. It was a wonderful place to stay and had a great indoor pool and workout room. Loved it! Had a great restful night after being at my mom's funeral before it.

Reported next morning and it was cold when I got back to hotel, but still made loud, whirling sounds off and on all night 12/10/24. Noise wasn’t addressed and reported at end of my stay in AM of 12/11/24. Hopefully, it’s resolved for next guest.
