Bed was comfy and the room was clean. No coffee pot or anything in the room. large potholes in the parking lot. There's a weird smell in the hotel all the time, but no smell in the room. Wouldn't be surprised if they offered hourly rates. You get what you pay for at this place, so don't expect luxury on about $50 a night.

If you are on the brink of bankruptcy but you still want to come visit the usaf museum, this is the place for you. There was no house keeping , no hair dryer, and no shampoo, the wall is so thin I heard the fart sound from next room. Like the old saying, you get what you pay for.

The only redeeming features at this property were that room entry was from inside the building, and that there was a full size fridge/freezer in the room. The exterior is worn, not well-kept, and full of loiterers. The front door and side doors despite having notices saying \"this door is locked at all times\" were not. It didn't matter that the side door has a key reader for entry, the door was unlocked anyway allowing anyone entry. When I went to check-in I had to wait twelve minutes for a staff member. On getting to my room I was met with noise from neighboring rooms that was impossible to ignore, so I requested another room. I had to be moved to a room with a queen bed and when I got there, there was a full trash bag in the center of the room and the bed was bare with no fitted sheets, sheets, comforter, or pillows. I requested another room. This time, it was still a downgraded queen room, but at least it was suitable for sleep and bio breaks, though the door to the room didn't lock without having to lift the door by the handle for the locking mechanism to go into place. There were two tiny bars of hand soap in the bathroom, but no shampoo or conditioner. The kitchen offered a stove, but no pans, skillets, or any other dishes. The closet had an ironing board, but no iron. I could see how this place would appear to low-income people looking for long-term accommodations in a pinch, but the vibe was not a safe or secure one, and aside from the price, it was a disappointment.

No extra towels, no ice machine, no clothes hangers in the
closet or any amenities one has when you have hotel/motel lodging. Tiny TV, inadequate bed covering for lodging in a very cold climate. I have never lodged ANYWHERE that the front desk was closed after 10 pm and doesn't open until mid-day on the next business day and the offerings are so sparse. All signs say no smoking however, cigarette and marijuana smoked is ALL you smell in the building. There was yelling and screaming by people in other rooms all day and night. Needless to say, I will never stay @ this place again and I most certainly wouldn't wish a stay like this on my worst enemy. This was a lodging nightmare. I don't smoke so I really don't appreciate being constantly exposed to smoke while I was in the building.

Birch Hill performed a background check I did not consent to and Expedia also did not inform me beforehand that this would be expected. I was denied a room. I am paralyzed in a wheelchair and this caused a great deal of stress and I have shared this experience with others to prevent the problem for anyone else. Expedia does not care for it's members.

Kids screaming in the halls, dogs barking everywhere and halls smelled like feces. No shampoo but had a blow dryer. No cups. No cleaning service, nor clean towels. My feet were black from walking barefoot on the floors. Bathtub was filthy. Receptionist had unruly kids with her.

Hôtel à ne pas conseiller. J’ ai fait m réservation en ligne , arrivée sur place la réception était fermé. J ai attendu plus de 20 minutes car c’est une cliente qui a appelé le réceptionniste. A son arrivée, il ne s’excuse pas et me donne la clé d’une chambre. Lorsque j’y vas , je trouve qu’il y a déjà un client qui dors dans cette chambre. Imaginez vous que si j’étais un voleur, j allais voler les affaires de ce client.
Toute la nuit je n’ai pas dormi car trop de briuit.
Aux allentours , groupe de personnes qui boivent et fument.

Dans la chambre, pas de matériel de cuisine. Le savon est tellement minuscule.

The staff was friendly. Outside and inside was kept up well. The room could have used a better cleaning especially the floor and dusting. The stove top was missing a knob and cigarette burns on the counter tops.
The pillows definitely could be upgraded and there were no blanket on the bed.

Overall, a decent place just bring pillows and a blanket.

My room 138, had an intense fragrance. The fragrance was probably to mask old cigarette smoke odor; I was getting random wiffs of cigarette smoke throughout the night. The bed and bathroom were clean. The floor looked clean. The neighboring clients were sketchy acting and I wouldn't say I felt \"safe\"

I booked this hotel for a short stay between work shifts. I had a 5-hour gap and didn’t want to spend an hour driving home and back just to end up more tired. The goal was simple: get some decent rest, avoid exhaustion, and be safe on the road.

While the location was convenient, the stay was far from restful. The room was very noisy. I could hear constant stomping from the guest above me, and it literally sounded like they were moving furniture after midnight. On top of that, there were barking dogs that made it hard to relax at all.

Another major issue was the lack of proper blackout curtains and the bright parking lot lights poured in all night, making it hard to fall — or stay — asleep. The bedding was also cheap and flimsy, to the point where I felt the need to go out and buy my own just to feel remotely comfortable.

In the end, I left and drove home anyway, only getting about **1 hour and 40 minutes of sleep total — completely defeating the purpose of booking the room in the first place.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this stay. If you're looking for rest and recovery, this isn’t the place to find it.

Very basic room.

Birch Hill Suites was the Motel 6 of extended stay hotels. The entry sign said \"No Smoking\" but the lobby smelled strong of cigarettes when we checked in, and we could smell them in the hallways. We could see particles of debris on the floor in our room. My socks were dirty after walking across it. The room comes with no kitchen amenities, I provided all my own utensils, even my own coffee pot.
The best thing in the room was the small table with 2 chairs.

The picture of the room looks like it is an efficiency with a stove,full size refrigerator ,kitchen sink and a microwave. They had no utensils or dishes . Not even a hair dryer! Dropped a little water on the floor and when I wiped it up the paper towel was black!

We normally never leave reviews, but this was really weird. From the front appearance, the place looked fine. Once we checked in though, we immediately got that \"cheap motel\" vibe. It seemed like one of those hotels that is half full of full time residents. There were bikes outside chained to trees. A van on blocks in the lot. Totally had that halfway house feel. At 10:00pm you could hear people arguing and dogs barking down the hall. The bed was absolutely horrible. Just a mattress on a stand and two pillows. No headboard. The floors were sticky. The shower was disgusting. We generally make a bug search at every hotel and we saw no signs of that at all. We just had that \"What did we get ourselves into\" feeling until we left. I will say the staff were friendly though and it was priced very low. Our other options were all booked up for the night.

Property has roaches. Stayed a month and never had housekeeping come to our room for anything. (I bought cleaning materials, exchanged our towels and bedding) Very unfriendly staff. Dog poop all over in the grassy area. Garbage always piled up. Manager will only take time out for you if you voice your unhappiness. Their right hand doesn't know what their left is doing.

Consider somewhere else!

No soap! No Kleenex! No shampoo! No cups! No hangers for our coats! No hand towels! No bath mats! There was a table top ironing board but no iron!
The hotel is non-smoking and we were also told that at check in. Our floor was FULL of cigarette smoke. You could smell it in our room.
We wouldn’t have used the kitchen area but there was NOTHING other than a garbage can.

This property isnt really a motel for travelers but more for folks looking to live in a housing unit. There was no signage on the building to let someone know they found the right place.There were many dogs, with some leaving dog manure in the hallway. The tv didnt have a remote. The front desk personnel was non-existant except for check in. I should have had a clue when I was given the chance to inspect the room in advance.
The door to ourside never locked. If this was my first booking with Expedia, I would never use the app again.

When we checked in a room it was smelly and look like someone has slept in the bed. I went to the staff and told them about the condition they put us in another room which was larger when we got there the bed was unmade and they had a bottle of wine on the table. It was not clean. The cleaning person apologized and I helped her clean and make the bed. I would never stay in this place again. The coffee machine wasn't working the door that you have to come in, you can't use your key. When we checked out at 8:30am on Sunday 9th there was no one at the front desk. I had to pick up the phone and let them know that we were leaving. I have never experienced nothing like this in my life. Before I left I sanitize and clean the room.

Absolutely abysmal stay. I came to the hotel, which smelled distinctly like a smoker's house best way I can describe, and was given a key to my first room. I go in to the first one to find the bed hadn't been washed, strange stains and the bathroom was a mess. I go to get my changed out for a new room. The second time I had taken a picture of it below as it was similarly absolutely messed up, with the added bonus of wet towels on the bathroom floor and strange stain / smell. By third time I had gotten a room that at least didn't look completely god awful, but there was still the smell and it was kind of a scary area to be quite honest. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, if I didn't have to stay up there for the week of work I sure as hell would've took off day one. 0/5 stars absolutely abysmal

This property is not livable. We spent there 1 h, got bitten by some bugs and had to run from this hotel. In addition, the toilet was dirty, the bed did not have any headboard, a nightstand was missing on one side of the bed, internet could not be located by iPhone nor MacBook. The hotel agreed to refund the payment.

Definitely didn’t look like the website. Got a contact buzz from marijuana just walking in the doors, room was dirty, stains on walls, no soap, no shampoo and only 1 towel, couldn’t get clean towels cause they didn’t have any. Ice machine was out of order and garbage bags were left outside by every entrance. I cleaned the room immediately upon arrival because it was dirty, good thing I brought my own cleaning supplies because the housekeeping only comes around once a week! I guess the saying “ You get what you pay for” is right. We did meet a great couple that were making food for people in the parking lot, they were extremely friendly and the smoked meats were amazing! Other than that it was a total disappointment. Do yourself a favor, pay the extra money for a different hotel

Absolutely horrible. We checked in about 1030p. There was no toilet tissue in the room. When we asked for toilet tissue and towels the front desk man asked us \" is this a necessity?\" We replied YES! There were cigarette burns in the comforter. Carpet and toilet were notably dirty. We had to purchase lysol and clean the room. When we checked out we asked for a receipt and again encountered resistance from the staff. What in the hell are yall doing down there. Worst hotel and service ever. We will never stay here again.

This hotel is basically a low-income apartment building. We arrived at just after 10pm. The door to the lobby was locked and the metal barrier was down at the check-in desk with no one present. Our handicapped room we reserved had been given away, though we had reserved it for 3 days. The next room we were given had people in it already. The 3rd room was larger, but one bed had hair and crumbs on the sheets and different hair on the blankets. The other was clean. A poopy washcloth was in the drawer. The 'fully-equipped\" kitchen had absolutely nothing and the front desk, again locked, said we could get nothing until 9am, but our conference began at 8:30. The coffee pots in the lobby had been stolen. Several people were walking around in their pjs or bare-chested. There is no breakfast. One of the chairs was missing from our room and the hairdryer did not work. No shampoo or lotion or tissues in the room. The Waffle House across the street had been shot up the day before we arrived and our third night, 3 police cars were there for a domestic violence case. The barrier at the front desk opens and closes whenever they arrive, not at regular hours, and not at 9am. Since there was only one pillow for each queen bed, I asked for another. They only had one but no pillowcases so they gave me a sheet to wrap it in, but it had blood stains on it. Choose somewhere else to stay if you can.

My first impression was that the room was very clean. However, someone else I work with noted that the toilet was not clean. I did see quite a bit of animal feces and urine in the snow on both sides of the front entrance.
I arrived at 7:15 am and the doors were locked and a barrier pulled down at the front door. I would have thought this would be a busy time for checkout and arrival of the cleaning staff. Not to mention \"breakfast.\" I could hear the TV was on in the lobby and there was a pot of coffee on the burner, but the impression I got was that these had been left on all night.
Another guest commented on how \"large\" the room was compared to the one she was staying in. Had been in a room at a different hotel the night before with 50 percent more floor space, for approximately the same price. If this was a large room, not interested in seeing the rest.

The shower and bathroom sink were filthy. Bed was so lumpy i couldn't get comfortable. The window was open when i checked in and the room was very cold. I asked cleaning staff for trash bag and she was rude as hell. I will never stay there again. Dark, dirty and unwelcoming
