The parking lot had several broken and abandoned vehicles. The person at the front desk tried to charge me an early check in fee when I was there right at check in time. The hallways more resembled a prison than a hotel. The hallways smelled like chemicals and cigarette smoke. The amenities were less than stellar. The toilet was broken upon going into my room and I had to fix the toilet flusher. There was used soap in the bathroom from the person before us. The towels were more like dish towels than bath towels. The pillows and bed were lined in plastic and extremely uncomfortable. The bed made so much noise with the littlest movements. The hvac unit was not clean and the room smelled like old body odor and cheap cologne. The sheets were stained. When we asked for more pillows and towels we were given one pillow and they said that’s all they had. They never came to clean the room or change out the sheets and towels. We heard the front desk person and the cleaning person bickering and arguing in from of our room late at night. I would definitely not recommend staying here. It’s easily one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed.

I arrived around 12 PM after a drift event in Dayton. We checked in, but couldn't access our room, so we had to switch rooms. The final room was difficult to open and close the door. There were stains on the bathroom walls, a smoke smell in a non-smoking room, and holes in the curtains, dirty stained sheets. There were also no complimentary shampoo or conditioner. We decided to leave early and tried to cancel our extra night, but the motel refused and said the manager would be available the following Monday. I do not recommend this place; I’d rather sleep in my car than stay here. After returning home I had to wash my entire luggage due to the smoke smell.

Probably my first and last time staying here

The room was ok. The hallway are deceiving and smell of heavy cigarette smoke in non-smoking areas. the room looks better than the hallway but I had no tissue in my room and there is no one available after 10pm or in the morning. The tub backs up while showering, which is a pet peeve for me. There are residents here that also needed help and couldn’t find anyone.

We were placed here because our Match 14, 2024 VRBO home was no longer available. We bike a fantastic price on the full house, so a comparable priced room was much smaller and further away from the University of Dayton where our event was. This extended stay had questionable clientele hanging out in the parking lot smoking, blocking the entrance. The entrance and the hallways were filled with cigarette smoke and litter. Because of the extended stay status, cats and dogs were permitted on the premises. A dog kept us up the first night. Additionally, we believe a cat ir dog was in our room prior to our stay and the room wasn't completely sanitized, because both of of broke out with itchy eyes and runny noses. We were told there was a kitchenette in the room, we weren't told that there weren't any kitchen supplies. Not even a styrofoam cup for the coffee. The placid cup was nearly impossible to drink the hot coffee from.

One of out rooms had the security latch engaged and we couldn't get in the room. Luckily, there was another room available on the other side of the hotel. Luckily too, the second room was for my adult child and not a teenager or I would have felt comfortable or safe letting them stay in the room so far away.

The absolute only positive, was the hotel clerk that checked ys in. I wish I knew his name, but he was professional, courteous, and welcoming.

I am allergic to cigarette smoke. I reserved 2 no smoking rooms. The hallway to the rooms was not clean and had a strong weed or cigarette smell. Dogs barked all night. The bathroom fan turns on when the light turns on. It brings the smoke smell into the rooms. I took a gamble on less expensive rooms. I won't do it again.

The hotel allowed workers to enter my room and I haven't checked out. the two male workers were going through my baggage an I caught them red handed. They broke multiple electronics and my tv. Also a nice amount of costly items were and are still missing. The front desk worker was supposed make a note of it but instead I was told that they were allowed to do that and that I would not be compensated for any of my losses. I also got kicked out and $1000s of dollars worth of stuff just taken from me. I'm getting an attorney and I'm suing this place. I do not recommend.

My room not available through Expedia..... I had to book a room. Do not charge me through Expedia. I will not use Expedia again. Another person had access to our room. The person a key card and got in while we were sleeping. The bed sheets had stains on them. We slept with our clothes on. Very upset and will take my business some where else.

A man came up saying he's been up stairs smoking crack and meth for 2 weeks wanting me to rent him a room I told him to leave I was cooking on the grill he came back 5 minutes later saying to call the law or he was going to kill herself then the cops came out and was very disrespectful and told me to shut up or they was going to be a problem and the front desk came out getting on to me for cooking on the grill and there was a lot of kids around whitch started picking on my kids the whole time I was there would never stay there again

I had reserved 3 rooms. One room flooded in the bathroom had to be moved to one bed, one room had roaches and water on the floor by the refrigerator, one room the door would not lock-didn’t notice till we returned that evening. Sheets stained People smoking in the non smoking Garbage overflowing and smelled. Overall dirty, staff not friendly. Very bad experience. Would not recommend. Will not be back

I booked the property through Expedia the same day (Saturday). I gave my card information. I was given a confirmation number. Later that night, I called the property and was told that there were no vacancies and that they could not honor my reservation through Expedia. I ended up staying in a \"less than desirable\" Red Roof Motel...and by \"less than desirable\", I mean filthy.

I asked if I could have another room which they informed me they were fully booked. So I had to make the drive 3 hours home. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone ever.

One star for me.

Manager was standing at the door smoking and on her phone when we arrived and had to wait for her to finish. She told me they were full and that they sent out emails but I did not receive one. I finally got a room that was \"just cleaned\". Was not very clean. There were knats buzzing around while we tried to eat and we seen two roaches. The halls and entry stairs were filthy. On the plus side the bed was comfortable.

People were loud in the hallway. One night a couple was arguing in the halls. Another night police were called to the scene. I went to check out and no one was available and a sliding metal shutter was pulled down over the opening to the office. This was at 8am during office ours.
The metal latch for added door lock was hanging halfway off and the door would shut unless you slammed it.

The facility smells cigarette, even though we stayed at the non-smoking section. It seems that the non-smoking rule is never enforced. There are so many dogs in the rooms that bark so loud. I will never stay in Motel 6 and its related facility anymore.

The phrase \"you get what you pay for\" is spot on.
The pictures on the website looked appealing. But when I checked in and walked down the hallway to my room, I was not impressed.
In my room, there were stains on the walls as well as a good sized hole that exposed a pvc pipe that must have been getting repairs at some point.
I was conveniently close to the mall and restaurants.
I did not experience any issues with noise neighbors around me.
The staff was always helpful and courteous.
The wifi password did not work. The initial clerk that helped me somehow got the password installed on my laptop, but I ended up using my cell phone as a hot spot for the remainder of my trip.

Filthy rooms, painted chipped all of the walls. Freezer was full of frost and melting out on the floor. Booked through Expedia, got to the hotel and was told there was no reservation made even though Expedia charged my credit card. Front desk called Expedia and I spoke with them and was told there was nothing they could do. After 1 1/2 hours back and forth with Expedia front desk clerk got it worked out. Big thank you to the front desk clerk.

We travel a lot and have stayed at a lot of places. We try to travel on a budget and in doing so we have very realistic expectations of getting what we pay for. When we checked in the clerk was very nice. She gave us our room key. We proceeded to the room, opened the door and there was someone already occupying the room. The occupant and us were both very surprised as the door opened. We went back to clerk where her question was \"was there someone in there or just their stuff\". We weren't sure at that point why it mattered? The room was occupied. We were given another room and this room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. We understand they are trying to lower crime and such in the area so 2 police officers walked the parking lot all night. We felt safe and we were comfortable but there could definitely be some changes made to how the business end of this hotel is working. We also had booked ahead for a smoking room as my husband is a smoker and was told at check in they rented all those out. Not a huge deal he doesn't mind going outside but i booked and paid for a smoking room and that's what i wanted. Like i stated though we are realistic travelers and we paid $50 a night for this hotel so we are aware we got what we paid for. Just a word to the wise. If you get a room slowly open the door as it may be occupied.

Not the best, and not the worst, But I got what I paid for. It waz very quiet. It was an extended stay in it looks like people live there but it is what it is. The building conditions left stuf to be desired but on the whole the Room itself was clean and seemed to be in good working condition the air conditioner worked I slept well in the bed was comfortable. I'm just used to a hotel with a little more stars. But given what I paid for it it was a good night stay.

When I would use my card to get into the door, I would have to swipe 7 or 8 times and find a \"sweet spot\" for the door to open. Once getting inside, the room was ok overall. There were alot of stains in the bathroom in the tub, on the walls, and it didnt really look like the deep clean after every guest. I was also across the hall from someone that had \"guests\" all throughout the night that were very loud, using profanity and slamming doors. Also my next door neighbor had a large dog that constantly barked, and the owners would yell at it, adding to the noise.

There was no one there to check me in!! I had my 2-year-old granddaughter with me and had to wake her up and get her out of the car in the cold to check in at the nearby red roof inn because no one would answer the door or the phone at studio 6 miamisburg!! Their fee was already taken out of my bank acct and I'm NOT PAYING for a room I never even slept in! I was there at 1:45am (as the cameras will confirm), called them SEVERAL times to no avail, it just kept ringing then eventually just stopped! Yes, I'M VERY UPSET!

But this time the room was a non smoking room and it smelled like a ashtray the sheets n covers had burn holes no remote to the tv wet dishes i had to wash just to get the smell off. No coffee and while my mom was visiting cops horassing her son because he was wainting for her outside said this is a known drug hotel.. ..... We are visiting family while im in the middle of moving and my father dies .. I am not happy about this stay

I bought this room for 1 night for my daughter. Sheets were dirty, floor was filthy. When my daughter spoke to the clerk/manager to ask for a new room, she was told no. Instead the clerk handed her a set of sheets and a broom. That night she saw roaches crawling everywhere.

This is an extended stay place so as such apparently you are expected to bring your own stuff. There was no ice cube tray and no ice in the building so if you want ice, bring your own. There were pots and pans but no cooking utensils. No bowls, 2 knives and one fork, no spoon. so if you are staying for a while bring stuff you will need from your kitchen. Understand the item inventory might be different for other rooms

as an overnight, it was ok except for lack of ice

This place is not a hotel for guests. This is Apartments. When we were there we had checked in and felt uncomfortable but we had already paid so decided to stay. My boyfriend told me he did not want me to leave the room without him because he was concerned about the people there. When we left to go to dinner there were five police cars by the office and one of them had someone handcuffed in the back. When we came back there were people walking up and down the hallway knocking on the doors of the people who live there saying that the police were there. The room next to ours had three or four dogs in it because one would bark and then you would hear at least two more bark at that one. The room that we stayed in was stinky when we first walked in and the pillows were gross so we went to Walmart and bought sheets, pillowcases, and Febreze. Also, there is only one bar of soap provided and so we had to buy body wash shampoo and conditioner.

Did not appreciate the condition/environment of this location. Viewed room, witnessed hallway activity and politely left. Building is relatively clean, but the extremely old and VERY run-down.
For cheap long-term stay for the economically challenged, maybe...laundry facilities on site...but need a car, unless you are used to walking long distances for other amenities.
P.S. Other extended stay in Miamisburg was full...stayed at a higher priced hotel, last minute, but felt much more comfortable.

Motel is conveniently located. Room was clean and quiet overall. Kitchenette features were adequate for my needs. However there was no ice machine available on premises. Noticeable malodor in hallways and stairwell.

The smell of smoke was absolutely horrific. The staff was assisting me at the desk while smoking, the housekeepers were walking around smoking....
It was so strong, I was getting nauseous
-I dont like smoke, but am pretty tolerant of it....this was absolutely ridiculous.
There was a dog running loose in the hallway...
The room was dirty-a bare mattress w a fitted sheet-
One thin blanket
No top sheets, mattress protector, nothing.
The air didnt work-the sink backed up and had pooled dirty water in it.
I know it was cheap, but I see why this was the only room I could find available in the city that day.....because it was not suitable to sleep in....I LEFT AND SLEPT IN THE CAR.

Very dirty, from the hallway to the bedrooms. No soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Toilet still dirty from the previous customer. It did not feel safe during my stay.

Beware the dirt and grime

My stay had issues. I had my room changed 4 times the first room had hair and stains on bed sheets and pillow casings and the bathtub and toilet was not cleaned. The second room had a hole in the bathtub the third room was not even turned over everything was a mess the fourth room was desecent enough

There was hair all in the tub & a personal washcloth that was left behind. Thankfully I had Lysol wipes with me. The towel rack & toilet paper holder were about to fall out of the wall. On the bright side the rest of the room was clean, clean linens & the bed was comfortable.

The man who checked us in was very nice. However there qere a lot of people hanging out in the halls and out front of the hotel. I did not realize this was an extended stay facility. Also the halls smelled veru badly of urine. The room was picked up but floor was very sticky and dirty. It appeared that most of the people who were there did live there and this motel should not be listed on a site for travelers who arent familiar with this area.

Scary place

This place was so bad I left after paying for the room. Once seeing the room I just left and found a room at another hotel that I was not scared to stay in. Not even asking for a refund. Lesson learned.
Looks like even Motel 6 is taking their name off it.
