I stayed here because it’s close to the international airport in Taipei. It was easy to get in and out of, the staff was friendly and spoke enough English. The room was clean, the bed was firm, and it had everything I needed for an overnight stay. And every room has its own garage if you are driving, I’d stay there again.

Although we had to wait till 6pm to check-in, the TY Motel does offer luggage storage. We went to the Taoyuan Costco to pass the time. Getting there was easy when riding the bus. Since we did not see many restaurants near the motel, we decided to eat at the Costco food court. We thought this motel was once a storage facility as all the rooms had a roll-up door. Behind the roll-up door is a parking garage for 1 vehicle. The room was clean and we found it amusing that there was a sliding door between the shower and toilet. The room cooled quickly after the a/c was turned on.

Stay Away!

Avoid this hotel. This is a prostitute hotel. They even offer condoms. That's not the worst part. I couldn't sleep because the lights stay on. I was told the only way to turn off the lights was to remove the key card which would turn off the a/c. I applied for a refund. I hope hotels.com agrees with me.

I reserved this motel, since it was listed in Expedia. The motel is the one which has hourly rate. The convenience stores are nearby; so, at least, I could purchase something to eat and drink. It was very interesting building structure, garage next to room. I guess this place could be used for certain purpose….

Don't get me wrong, pictures look trendy, I saw cleaning lady at other unit, so I know they're cleaned. But, as I put some of my miscellaneous stuff on center counter, a tropical roach came crawling out from behind the veneer panel on wall curious to what I just laid there - like I was infiltrating its space - it wasn't food, it was a headset & my ID.

Do note this is a Motel, which the locals head to in block hours for make out sessions. That aside, it’s ok for the price and close proximity to the airport

First of all, yes, I can confirm that this hotel is a “love hotel,” with check-in after 6pm, and discrete garage door entry. However, I got a good chuckle out of it, and it was the only decently affordable hotel nearby the airport, and so, for me, it worked! Rooms were clean, large and spacious with all of the amenities required for a layover/early transit, including toiletries. Plumbing had a bit of an off/musty smell (which was off putting, but okay for one night) and also only tissues were available for toilet paper, which I thought was odd. Air conditioning, wifi and flatscreen tv (with English news and movie channels) all in great working order!

This isn’t a tourist hotel, so there was no breakfast or airport shuttle available. Perhaps there was in years prior, but this has since changed. Staff organized a taxi for me to the airport, which was appreciated.

Bed was comfortable, linens were clean (thank god), and towels smelled fresh.

I knew going in of the nature of this hotel, but I also wasn’t willing to shell out $100-$200 dollars to stay elsewhere! Like I said, I got a good chuckle out of the whole experience, but I would only choose this hotel again if transit to and from the airport was required. Otherwise, I’d stay in the centre of Taipei. There’s nothing around this hotel other than a small 7-Eleven across the street! Pretty sure your ordinary clientele don’t require much more at this hotel other than a bed (maybe not even that - LOL)!

Their inhouse-driver attitude is so good! Recommended for those need to catch early freight, their motel only 10min driving distance & 7-11 and Hi-Life just walking distance.

Friendly staff, large hotel room with modern facilities and a big TV. Breakfast was really tasty chinese options but akso has scrambled eggs, meat, noodles etc.
Ignore the Love motel aspect, it doesn't make it seedy or anything.

Very good place in terms of accessibility and convenience. Rooms were clean and very spacious, ideal for two people and if you have a car, even better. Only complaint is that insects have easy access to the rooms as well and ants were running rampant, crawling in the computer screen and any food I brought back to room was being invaded in less than 5 minutes.

Alright stay for just a night during a layover flight. The shuttle service is only one way but a taxi to return to the airport is inexpensive. We arrived at 12am with cops swarming the lot, very frightening upon arrival. Room was ok but they could use some sweeping and dusting.

Hotel is NOT even clean. Lots of ants on the table, cockroaches in the garage, and dead spiders on the floor. The sheet is with smoke stain. Sound insulation is also bad. It is super surprising that this motel is 4.0/5.0 on Expedia. The only thing I like is it is convenient and close to the airport.

Also there is a language issue for English speaking guests with both services and in room amenities tv lights guest book. No English so slept with lights on as I could get no help and the controller had many buttons with no English. Bed was good as was the shower and breakfast

I would give it 2.5/5 stars. The service and shuttle were great, and the room itself was nice, but we found several bugs in the room crawling on the floor. The bathtub also did not seem to be cleaned well and the drains on the tub and sink would not open unless you reached under to pull up the drain stopper with your fingers. However, the room had a comfortable bed and nice amenities. It's in a great location and very near the airport.

A very unusual style of hotel but good value for money for an overnight stopover. Used their airport shuttle from and to the airport which made life easier. Large, comfortable bed. Room clean but drain smell evident if air con unit turned off. Given a bowl of instant noodles on arrival and a decent breakfast included though not Western style. Water, soft drinks and snacks in mini bar. Unsure if these were free or chargeable as didn’t want any hassle over possible additional payment when checking out early in the morning.

Our first visit to TY was very good. Second time, not so great. Our room was very nice but our pickup at the airport was over one hour late. Many of the hot foods at breakfast were cold. We also paid for a dropoff at the Taoyuan train station (not the metro) and they assured us that they understood. Instead the driver dropped us at the local metro station and insisted that it was the correct location. This added considerable time and confusion to our journey. Very disappointing.

The hotel was unique and creative. It's fairly new so everything is nice. The showers and beds are really comfortable. They even provided water and some snacks. The breakfast was really good and a nice surprise (we were not expecting it). I scheduled a drop off and the van was on time and dropped us off at the airport which is 15 minutes away.

When I went there, the room wan't ready. I went there in the evening but I had to wait for 10 min. while they clean the room. When I went in the room smelled badly with chemical, then afterward, it smelled like it's got some sewage problem. However, everything else was fine and you get to used to a smell after a several hours. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and clean, the TV and the bathtub were big, scenery was great and the breakfast was good.

The TY Motel is a love hotel. Later on I realized why the check in time was set at 6:00 PM. There is no front desk, check in process was done through a small parking facility while we were waiting in a taxi.
We weren't allowed into the check in place (?).
The attendant didn't speak a word of English. I think the motel was clean enough, but felt so unclean.

Once we got to our room, we found out each of the guest room was a garage converted to motel room.
Pelting rain was so noisy on vinyl roof.

Only saving grace was the shuttle bus took us to Tayuan airport on time at 5:00AM, and they were nice enough to pack breakfast in lieu of free breakfast they offered.

So, let’s get it out straightaway. This is a very discrete motel which caters to those wanting to have discrete meetups. It is essentially a love motel and the setup, furnishings and services are completely catered to this clientele to ensure complete privacy. Once you look past that, the experience itself is quite entertaining and at the end of the day, the location is good for airport access. They also provide a free discrete shuttle service and breakfast on your way to the airport for you! So no, not for kids and family, but if you’re are going solo or as a couple, it can potentially be quite an interesting experience!

Was very disappointed with the way the hotel did their check in for guest
Was asked to wait outside with door closed after the staff asked for your passport
Was told that they already give the privilege for me to check in early at 3pm as their usual check in time is at 6pm
I wasn’t even aware about their hotel check in time was so late at 6pm where usually other hotels check in time is at 3pm
Then was asked to leave the luggage in the office without having the chance to step inside after get out from the cab where it was raining with strong wind
So went back to the hotel at 7pm for check in, we asked for help to push our luggage to the room as it was still raining and strong wind blowing, and the female staff told me she’s working alone at that hour so we have to bring the luggage to the room ourselves under the rain with a small umbrella. I explained 2 persons will have problems to bring 4 luggage under the rain and holding umbrella, she said either we leave our luggage in their office and go back and take on the next day morning or make 2 trips to go back and take the luggage under the rain.
Informed the staff that I would like to change the timing of the shuttle to airport from 9am to 8.30am, the staff said no problem but on the next day waited for the shuttle till 8.40am still haven’t turn up, called up the reception and checked, the morning female staff doesn’t even aware about the changes request, so there weren’t proper communication about their staffs.

Hotel was great! Rooms were very cool. We stayed one night.
But of a miscommunication with staff at the beginning but it was all sorted. The ladies at reception were very helpful.
We had a very early flight the next morning and we had a lovely breakfast box to go! Very impressed.
Bath could have been cleaner, we asked reception and they sent someone over to clean it very promptly, which was fantastic because the baths were big and very cool

Overnight stay to catch an early flight.

The room was large and very spacious and toiletries were provided even toothbrushes razors and comb. The TV screen was huge. The room was clean however the bathroom drain was blocked so the bathroom flooded a little after our shower. The staff was very friendly and the driver had a cheerful disposition in spite of our 4 am departure. We were also given a breakfast box to takeaway.
