Service and amenities have gone down overall. The hotel has made significant cuts in the service, room goods available, heating and breakfast which has been noticed straight away.

The heating in the room didn't work and i was with a group and they all had the same problem. The \"hot\" food for breakfast was cold and very poor quality. They provide shared iron for your laundry on each floor. This was the worst part of the hotel.That said the staff i met were friendly and the hotel location is good

As others have mentioned on their reviews the hotel car park is exceptionally difficult to find. I think future guests would benefit from a detailed guide on here how to find the car park (Martin’s Agora, although Grand Place is also nearby and cheaper).
The road system in this city is underground so Waze etc isn’t fully functional, which doesn’t help either. The road system doesn’t help at all with finding the hotel & whoever designed it should never design another road again!
However overall because the hotel is exceptional and now I know how to get to the car park, I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

This modern property is in the very centre of Louvain-la-Neuve, just five minutes' walk from the railway station.
The receptionist was professional and spike good English.
Our room was spotlessly clean and served daily by the housekeeping team.

The centre of Louvain la Neuve (“LLN”) is built around the university campus and this hotel stands prominently on one side of the central square. It is close to the shopping malls and about five minutes’ walk from the railway station with direct services to Brussels.
The hotel itself is modern with all the facilities one would expect from one catering very much for business people. The reception area is spacious and the receptionists speak hood English. The rooms are of a good size with large comfortable beds and superb shower rooms. Housekeeping was excellent, with fresh towels every day. My wife and I were so pleased we have booked to return in the spring.

For the price you paid, it was disappointing to see trash on the ground near the trash can due to staff failing to empty them. The room lacked in basic requirements such as soap. The wait to check in was extremely long.

the rooms are in really bad shape. They only clean once every 7 days. We were checked in a room with stained sheets and unflushed toilet. Hair all over the shower and bathroom. Next room they gave us had broken bathroom faucet. The front desk staff didn’t not speak proper English and didn’t understand us well. Overall really bad experience for the price.

I came to LLN for work. The Martin is a new hotel in the area. It’s location is perfect to be able to go out at night for a drink, restaurant or get groceries.

Brand new hotel in the heart of Louvain-La-Neuve, a nice university town. The hotel can be accessed by car through the garage, but it is set in a pedestrianised area so it is central but quiet.
The hotel is very well presented and the staff at reception is polite and helpful. I travelled on business and stayed in a standard room, which was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Nice large rainshower, comfortable bed, lots of sockets (even USB ones) in the room and tea and coffee-making facilities. Room temperature was easy to adjust and the room had both heating and A/C.
Breakfast was fine, everything was fresh and promptly restocked. It was continental with some cooked options (quite limited) - fairly typical of hotels in France and Belgium. I would suggest adding healthier cereal types such as oats and granola.
I had lunch at the restaurant once, which was busy at that time. Service was a little slow and the food was alright but quite expensive for what it was.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Ducoup on a pas pu regarder la tv .. on a eu la surprise sur une des serviettes de bain une énorme tache jaune .. je vous montre en photo .. un peu dégoûter .. pour l’hygiène de la serviette/ la tv sans code / wifi non donné ? J’ai séjourné deux nuits à l’hôtel Martin’s le week-end dernier. L’établissement est très bien situé, moderne et agréable dans son ensemble. Malheureusement, plusieurs points ont terni mon expérience.
J’ai été surprise par le manque d’amabilité de certains membres de la réception, un vrai contraste avec le standing que l’hôtel semble revendiquer. Tout était plaisant mis à part le fait que nous sommes arrivées 2 heures plus tôt , les chambres étaient prêtes mais nous avons du attendre pour récupérer les clés ou choisir de payer un supplément ce qui pour le moisn est surprenant. Je comprendrai si les chambres n'étaient pas encore prêtes. Mais là non il fallait juste attendre. Aucune accommodation ne nous a été offerte, mis à part déposer nos bagages au lobby et revenir 2 heures plus tard, alors que nous avions fait 8 heures de voyage. C,est mon seul bémol merci

De même, l'arrivée est bien compliquée, et une petite notice nous aiderait bien à se retrouver dans ce dédale de rues souterraines car la ville est sans voiture (sans jardins non plus, presque aucune nature n'est visible malheureusement malgré l'absence de voitures...).
Enfin, le petit-déjeuner n'est fait que de produits bas de gamme... L'hôtel veut se donner un air de luxe en proposant de nombreux produits, mais la qualité ne suit pas (les jus de fruits sont atroces ! ils sont servis dans de jolies carafes, mais nous ne sommes pas dupes...).

Chambre de base = café très de base, sachets qu'il faut tjs chercher pour avoir cafeiné. Désolé mais le papier de toilette est plus que cheap, c'est du papier sabler!
Bref, vraiment à cause du café et surtout des déjeuner, je ne crois pas que j'y retournerais. Et c'est dommage car je vais plusieurs fois par ans dans ce secteur

It is a hotel without any service included. The rooms are expensive and on top of that you have to pay a lot of money for basics like a gym and swimming pool. Also room services rates (delivery) are insane high. It is easier and cheaper to pick up the room service at the restaurant (6 euros for them per dish to walk to your room).

Déçue cette fois de ce bel hôtel que je connais déjà.Avec le protocole sanitaire, l établissement a décidé de ne pas faire d entretien des chambres durant le séjour.....pour avoir séjourné dans d autres hôtels depuis la pandémie, j ai pu constaté qu il est possible de maintenir le niveau habituel de prestation dans ce genre d établissement....je n ai pas constaté par ailleurs de diminution de tarif justifiant ce manque de ménage en chambre et le petit déjeuner à emporter en chambre .....

L'hôtel est très agréable, et le service accueillant. Très bonne note pour le restaurant avec une carte courte mais originale. Les plats étaient délicieux et la facture très douce. Le petit déjeuner servi sous forme de buffet est également très bien. La chambre moderne est décorée avec goût ; par contre, on y sent une odeur de peinture fraiche bien désagréable. Les mesures anticovid sont très bien appliquées. Ainsi j'ai eu la surprise de constater que la chambre n'avait pas été préparée et que les lits et serviettes étaient restés défaits. Je m'en suis étonné, et, à l'accueil on m'a dit que, compte tenu des mesures anticovid, les chambres n'étaient refaites que toutes les deux nuits. Ce n'est pas grave, mais j'aurais préféré être prévenu, d'autant que la facture de la deuxième nuitée n'est pas moins élevée que le première.Le grand problème est l'arrivée dans l'hôtel. Celui-ci est sur une dalle, et on ne peut y accéder en voiture que par les parkings, encore faut-il le trouver car la signalisation est déficiente. Après avoir tourné trois fois autour, nous avons pu garer notre véhicule au parking de l'hôtel. Tarif 22 € la nuit. Nous avons déposé les bagages et avons dû garer la voiture bien plus loin dans le parking public (quand même à 8 €). Pourquoi l'hôtel ne nous prévient-il pas d'avance pour nous éviter tout ce temps perdu ?
