It was a hike to get from the ferry to the property with our luggage, so would recommend arranging transportation. The host accommodated our early check in, which was appreciated!
The property is up on a hill overlooking the town. Walkable distance to beach and town. The room itself was a bit dated, but was a good size and had a lovely balcony. It would have been nice to have a coffeemaker or a kettle, but we did have a mini fridge.

This place was absolutely beautiful, the view was outstanding we didn’t know how the room and view would be but it turned out amazing, the host was such a sweet lady and kind- definitely recommend staying at her place and will be coming back to stay with her again.

Climb hundreds of steps w luggage
2 major issues. First of all it's unclear from the listing that you have to climb hundreds of steps lugging your suitcase to reach the villa. No offer to drive the luggage to the apartment, like the other villas had (something I noticed afterwards). Secondly, they insisted that I could only pay in cash - that is a total tax avoidance move. I would not stay again, and I do not recommend

Lovely Family Villa
We had a wonderful stay at Vila Lacman, the room was clean, light and airy. There was everything you would need in the kitchen and there was cold water in the fridge when we arrived, which was very well received. It is close to a supermarket which has an amazing restaurant above, we ate there twice. Quite a hike up from the port but well worth it. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever in Hvar. The Lacman family were lovely hosts.

Avoid this Place – Unacceptable Noise, Cash Demand
I strongly advise against staying here. My experience was incredibly disappointing and stressful from the start.
First, the host demanded payment in cash (euros), even though I booked through Hotels.com and there was absolutely no mention of cash-only payment in the listing or confirmation. This forced me to withdraw money at a premium from ATMs — a huge inconvenience and cost that was completely unexpected.
Second, the noise levels were unbearable. I was repeatedly woken up early in the morning by people knocking at my door and disturbances right outside the room. It felt chaotic and unprofessional — not at all like a place meant for rest. There was zero sense of privacy which I ended up becoming sick due to lack of sleep.
What should have been a peaceful stay in Hvar turned into a frustrating experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Between the loud environment, the lack of transparency about payment, and people showing up unannounced at my door, I absolutely cannot recommend this accommodation.
There are much better, more reliable places to stay in Hvar. Skip this one.

Very nice property and as matches the photos and descriptions. The cleanliness was impeccable and the ladies were very generous.There is a shared kitchen space where you can cook you own meals and that was very convenient for us. Overall the stay was very pleasant and I would not hesitate to book it again if I ever visit hvar.

One night the kid knocked on the door for several minutes then went and got the owner to come unlock the door! Not a good place to stay if you aren’t going to party. The ladies that greeted us were super nice and very helpful. Just not a good fit for two old people.

Most of Hvar is a bit pretentious for me, with hotel prices to match. This absolute gek of a place is perfect for the okd town and beach bars but quiet and peaceful. Lovely sea faxing balcony in our room (room 2) and lots of space. No breakfast but a great kitchen to use and loads of eateries nearby. A small supermarket, great restaurant and beach bars 5 mins away, including the infamous hula hula bar if that's your thing. I couldn't think of a better place to stay unless you enjoy throwing your money down the drain. 10 minute walk from the ferry port and marina/old town.

This place was a great location. Away from the late night noise of the city but only a 10 min walk to it. The beach was a 5 min walk which was perfect for us. One thing to know about the island is that there is spotty wifi, so if you need wifi this island might not be the place for you.

Excellent balcony that we used in the morning as it was very hot during our stay. Air conditioner worked well. It’s a small apartment but well set out. Up the hill a little but easy access to the town centre and beaches.

Cash only method wasn’t explained in the booking. It cost me extra €6 in transaction fees while getting the cash out. There was a blood stains in the blanket. Overall hvar is just overpriced and overrated, bunch of scams, avoid going to hvar during the high season if you want to get ripped apart.

Lovely stay at Vila Lacman, the family that run this place are super friendly and very kind. Our room was lovely and spacious and had a balcony with a great view over the sea. The air conditioning was very good and the apartment was very clean! There is a hill to walk up to get here but everything in Hvar has a hill so this is not a problem! :)

I had the most wonderful stay at Vila Lacman! The view from the rooms are beautiful and wonderful hosts, so kind and helpful. Only a 10 minute walk from the harbor, in a quiet part of Hvar which was nice. Beach towels and water was provided in the room, which was very convenient since I forgot my beach towel! I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Hvar. I recommend this place to anyone visiting in Hvar.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The room is spacious and clean and the bed is comfy. The balcony is very large and had some great seating to enjoy the view. The view of the town from the balcony is an added bonus. Would highly recommend staying here. The walk into town is short and very picturesque. Can’t say enough great things about this place. Would love to come back one day.

My partner and I had a really nice stay in Vila Lacman. The room had all of the basics, a really comfy bed and a nice balcony space. A short 10-minute walk to the restaurants and bars along the seafront and the main square. The Lacman family were really good hosts and always happy to chat.

Vila Lacman was perfect for our stay. It is up a steep hill so if you have walking difficulties it may not be for you. But it is only a 10 minute, very safe walk up hill from Hvar Town. From the room we had we had a beautiful view across the town and harbour. And the lady who run the Vila was delightful.

We stayed for four nights. The room was clean bright and airy with great views from the balcony. Excellent facilities provided and use of shared kitchen. The bathroom was great and the bed really comfortable. The proximity to beaches and town and various bars and restaurants was a decent walk away ( in various directions!). And there was a small grocery store 200 m away for the less mobile or energetic. Our hosts were helpful and charming. They very kindly provided beach towels which was a nice unexpected touch.

Only a short walk uphill (and up steps!) … but on the positive side you are halfway up to the fortress path only a short 5 minute (flat) walk away! The family is very kind and very precise. We enjoyed our stay, the small balcony, hotpot & dishes (bring your own coffee/tea). Short walk to grocery too! Great views from balcony. Lovely stay.

The room was lovely with a nice spacey bathroom, however the bathroom did have a slightly strange smell. We couldn't understand what it was. It was not a deal breaker for us & shouldn't stop you from choosing this room unless this is very crucial for your stay.
The best and nicest thing was the hostess bringing us freshly home baked apple strudels! It was a pleasant surprise.
This particular room does not have a desk, so if you need to do some work, choose one of the other rooms. They were very kind & offered to bring a table from other unused room or to use the other room for that moment.

The room had a lovely view, the bed was super comfy and the shower was large and clean. There’s a beach within a 5 minute walk as well as a supermarket and restaurants nearby. It’s a 10 minute walk into the centre of town which is perfect as it’s super quite. Throughly enjoyed our stay here and would 100% return.

Would highly recommend Villa Lacman! Anja welcomed us upon arrival and told us directions to the town centre and local amenities! Literally a 5 minute walk to the centre! The place was always super clean, bed was super comfy, shower was great and air con worked a treat. A nice touch was that beach towels are provided on your way out!

It seem like a family run business and the people working there was really welcoming. It was completely quiet during the evening with no noise from the nearby parties downtown. Its a bit of a walk uphills (maybe 10 minutes) to get to the city center to the hotel, but it was worth it to get away from the more busier street. Overall a great stay if you want some peace.

Lovely friendly welcome and a great apartment. Great simple touches like clothes hooks in the bathroom for towels and drying line (with clothes pegs!) on the balcony. They provide beach towels that you can use and allow you to use the kitchen.

Close to the old town. Great balcony with sea view at the front. Friendly staff who responded promptly when contacted. Hvar is a beautiful island and this is very good value accommodation

Over a good stay in this hotel. You walk up the hill away from the center to get to it (15 min or so). You can go across and then up to the castle/look out point from the hotel without having to go back into town and then up. The room was clean and nice, with a little balcony. The lady that runs the place is very friendly. We also used the kitchen one night to cook food. No issues with this place.
