Had a lovely stay! Great location only a short walk to the marina and right on the water.
Only thing that let it down was there is no iron in the rooms and the only option is you have to pay the hotel to iron your clothes. Other than that, the hotel is fab!

This hotel was a dream! The staff was absolutely fantastic; warm, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. The location is a bit off the beaten path, which makes it feel peaceful and secluded, but it’s something to be aware of when planning transportation.

One important tip: make sure you book your ferry to Milna, not Bol like I mistakenly did. Bol is about an hour away by car, and the taxi was expensive—definitely double-check your port when booking.

That said, everything else was amazing. The food at the restaurant was incredible—some of the best meals we had in Croatia, specially the breakfast, THE BEST EVER! The beds were unbelievably comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the amenities were spot on. The terrace and pool area are gorgeous, and there’s a beautiful beach just there.

I honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend for anyone looking to truly relax in style.

This is a superb hotel! Perfect location in a beautiful natural harbour, your only “traffic” is the gentle passing of the boats. Hotel staff fantastic, views stunning. Food superb, we had half board which was a la carte so even better, good menu choices. Highly recommended

We loved the location of the hotel , set into the hillside and overlooking the harbour . Watching the boats all day was very enjoyable. No diesel smells as others have mentioned . Plenty of sunbeds available by the sea . Friendly staff . Greys breakfast and Good lunch / dinner menu , and drinks options . Lovely bathroom and comfortable bed/ pillows . Milna itself is absolutely beautiful.
Cons
Room was right at the back at the top , up many flights of stairs . The balcony described wasn’t really a balcony but a back porch. Room was small but comfortable . Not much in the way of bathroom toiletries , just soap .
Service a little slow in the restaurant .
Having to pay for a beach towel every day. - suggest a towel deposit and keycard like other hotels. Seems unreasonable for paying guests to pay for a towel.

We spent five days at the lovely M8 hotel before heading to Split for two days. The room was very comfortable, the staff were lovely and the surrounding area of Milna was perfect for a chilled out break with its beautiful marina-side restaurants and bars. Some reviews complained of the ferries and the vessel refuelling station nearby but we loved watching the coming and going of the yachts and cruisers over a delicious breakfast. We've never been back to a place twice but are seriously considering it next year.

Good position of hotel , excellent staff and the rooms were in superb condition, comfortable and the bathrooms clean and tidy with a great shower - no mould ! :-)
Good quality towels, and Rituals soap / shampoo provided - Great ! - Quality
It could do with a lounge sitting area for when the weather is inclement but other than that superb.
Has sauna, gym and spa facilities.

It was our second time to this hotel and we liked it as much as the first. Definitely opt for a room with a balcony to take advantage of the views. Stunning setting for the hotel overlooking the harbour and boats. Pool needs to be heated. Plenty of dining options near by. Rooms could do with a few extra touches - robes and tissues etc - however the lack of probably keeps the price down. We’ll be back!

Very nice , quiet relaxing hotel . Lots of steps though so be aware it may not be suitable for those with severe walking difficulties. We were staying in a villa just up from reception so even though I do have difficulty walking , it was suitable for me ( probably the best location if you cannot walk well) . Half board food was very good though on the meat main courses the extra charges did not seem to relate to the prices on the main menu , so it would be better for them to say up to so many euros is free then pay the difference , as the way they had worked out the charges did not make sense.
The rooms were lovely and the staff very helpful . Would love to return .

A truly fantastic stay over five nights at the Hotel Osam in Milna. Beautiful hotel and setting, lovely and helpful staff, a great location and setting overlooking the bay. We had such a relaxing time and loved the quiet location at the hotel where it was easy to find peace and quiet, while only a short walk to the harbour at Milna with several excellent local restaurants and bars. With the hotel being on multiple levels the views were stunning, watching yachts coming and going in the bay. Spa treatments on site was a real treat and added bonus. We explored the island by car (taxis can add up) and Milna was our favourite spot.

We really enjoyed staying here, the location was great - good walking distance to the bay, including restaurants, wine bars, shops etc. also loved the access to the water and nearby beaches.

The hotel itself was very nice. Very modern and clean facilities, and staff go above and beyond for you. Food was so good!

What a delightful 10 night stay. Exactly what we were looking for ideally situated in the pretty Milna harbour . Our room was excellent and kept spotlessly clean couldn’t fault anything here. Helpful staff great lots of great local dining options easily walkable. If you’re looking for a peaceful relaxing place to unwind this is the perfect place to stay. There are a lot of steps so if you have knee issues you may have difficulty.

Lovey hotel and staff in a quiet area. If you want just to chill out, this is the place. Food is really good and of course the drinks/cocktails!
Great singer on last night, singing a range of covers. Went on some nice walks and there was a spectacular sunset one night. Thoroughly recommend. Ensure you get the ferry to Milna and not Bol (big mistake of mine).

We had a very pleasant experience apart from some maintenance issues.

The hotel is clean, quiet and nicely located. Beutiful views over the bay. Restaurant food was good and some good options on the menu (we had the half-board). Very good value overall.

Unfortunatly we had troubles with the window blinds (could'nt close them). We let the staff know after first night but no one showed up to fix it. We stayed theee nights without fully functioning window blinds, which is far from ideal.

Really liked this secluded hotel at the end of Milna Harbour. we enjoyed a lovely two night stay there including two very enjoyable dinners. The restaurant and the staff were excellent. The rooms were nice and well kept. The location was out the way but still close to the town if you wanted to drop in for food. The only down side was their unheated swimming pool didn't really see the sun most of the day and was freezing! Otherwise a really nice stay.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful spot

Excellent place to stay - Room 102 has an excellent balcony view.
The room standard of finish though needs attention to detail but it doesn’t impact the stay and comfort.
The service is good, un-obtrusive and they are there in the background to help when needed.
On arrival reception is hard to find as no clear signage, however the hotel is in a beautiful spot, you can watch the boats come in and out the bay all day and there are plenty of different places to sit and follow the sun around. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a great hotel to relax. Great views overlooking the marina. Plenty of sun beds, relaxed atmosphere. We got the ferry ones from Split then the Arriva bus from Supetar to Milna for under 5 euro pp instead of paying 50 euro in a taxi, so worth looking into!
Really recommend this hotel, the food and drinks were also of a high standard

We had a fantastic 3 nights here at the start of our holiday. The hotel is beautiful, didn't feel crowded, plenty of shade near the pool and by the beach. The addition of the club deck on the roof is lovely. So relaxing to sit and watch the boats. Nice drinks in the evening, although a bit pricey. Breakfast choice is extensive. We ate there one evening and it was lovely, and reasonably priced. I had a 30min massage in the spa which was incredible, and very cheap! Would totally recommend this place. The nature of the hotel being on a hill means there are lots of stairs and nowhere they can put a lift, so if you struggle with stairs then request a lower floor.

We had a great 5 night stay at this hotel ! The first thing to say is the service is absolutely 5 star - the staff are all lovely, engaging and really helpful. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and has a nice feel to it. The restaurant is very beautiful to sit in, especially at night and you can watch the sunset for it. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a relaxed, quiet hotel stay.

There were a couple of things to note, which other people had said in their reviews and I wish I’d paid attention to! You have to pay 2.50 euros a day per person for a pool towel which is surprising when you’re already paying so much for the hotel itself.
The pool area is quite small and shaded (but there are plenty of other sun loungers in front of the sea which is actually great).
It’s a 25-30 min walk from the ferry pier - you can get a taxi but it’s 20 euros.
The dinner menu is a bit repetitive for half board for more than 3 nights if you’re veggie!
It can be noisy in the harbour with live music from other restaurants / boats which goes on till 2400-0200.
It’s right next to a boat fuel station - actually this is quite fun as you can watch all the boats come in, but if the wind goes the wrong way you can smell the fumes.

Although this sounds like quite a few negatives, we really enjoyed our stay, but just wish I had known about the above as would have altered how long we stayed/probably wouldn’t have stayed half board!

A lovely hotel, with a beautiful outlook over Milna harbour.
A great setting for a chilled break. Milna is a small fishing village, not much around but plenty of restaurants to choose from. Also the hotel has a great restaurant with lovely food so is an easy option on site.
It's about a 30 minute walk from the ferry to the hotel. Taxi is an option but will cost.
A warm welcome from reception on arrival and overall all staff were really friendly.
A clean and tiny room set up (although slightly sterile and the lighting wasn't great, but that's really minor negative points).
The pool was quiet, although situated near to a petrol station so boats queue up and lots of arguments seem to break out so isn't always the quietest. Entertaining though!
Overall a great stay to just lounge around the pool and sea front.

Staff very friendly and helpful, room good size and layout with balcony overlooking harbour. There are many steps to get to the rooms, as the rooms are set up into the hillside, which was fine for us, but might be an issue for some. Some good restaurants within easy walking distances, the town of Milna with its pretty harbour is a great spot for a few days rest & relaxation.

We had the most relaxed and comfortable stay at the M8 Milna Osam. The facilities are excellent for a short break. Great views, plenty to watch during the day with the busy harbour, lots of places to explore in the town. We were B&B and they had a magnificent spread each morning - catering to all tastes. Rooms were serviced every day. The staff were helpful and very friendly. If coming on the ferry from Split, it docks right across the water from the hotel - but it’s about 1.5Km to drag your cases - preorder a cab if your bags are heavy!

Fantastic in every aspect, worth a 10

What a super place! We stayed for 5days and couldnt fault anything at all. The staff are brilliant here, we had a super welcome from the Manager and an upgrade which was incredible to Villa 1 which overlooks the harbour! A really stunning villa and immaculate throughout.
All of the team can't do enough to help and are really friendly, Tony and the bar team were wonderful.
We had a rental car so it was a great place to explore Brač from and parking on site was easy. The hotel can also arrange trips or car/quad hire if you wanted.
Breakfast selection is extensive and there is a good variety on the menu for lunch and dinner, we found it excellent and actually very reasonably priced.
It's a short walk into Milna for other restaurants and a couple of shops for a mooch about. Multiple options available for boat trips or hire if you wished.
There are plenty of sun loungers and a great swim area plus the pool and a roof terrace. We booked into the spa aswell which was very relaxing.

Perfect hotel on a beautiful island - 10/10!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location!
We first flew to split and then got a ferry to Milna.

The pictures of the hotel do not do it justice! The rooms are like separate apartments/suites, the hotel felt personal and quiet even in the height of summer holidays. The staff go above and beyond for you and are so helpful, we could not have asked for more.

The buffet breakfast each morning has a lot of choice which will suit everyone. All of the restaurants in Milna were in walking distance but we found our favourite meals were those in the hotel - the food is delicious and beautifully presented.

When booking we were worried there wouldn't be a lot to do, or we would not be able to access things easily from the hotel - we were wrong! Most days we walked to a nearby beach which were always quiet - often we were the only ones! One day we rented a car to visit golden horn beach where there were lots of water-sports, we did sunset kayaking from Positra and another day we rented a boat from Milna.

We absolutely loved our time here!

The staff were kind and it felt like a little oasis that we enjoyed being part of for a couple of days. The pool isn't heated but that shouldn't be a problem as the summer progresses. The site had great access to the ocean for swimming there in the little harbor (wear swim shoes). The propertly is located at the end of a rather windy little road, so walking into the main part of Milna isn't as easy as I had thought, but there really isn't much to see/do in Milna and we were happy to just decompress at the facility. Breakfast was lovely and the facility restaurant was quite good.

Relaxed, modern and professional vibe

Despite coming at the end of the season, the staff at M8 were wonderful and made our stay there equisite. They even helped me surprise my sister and went above and beyond with creating a special dessert and put the candle I bought on it. It was so very much appreciated! The hotel had a very nice breakfast, great bar in the evening and a decent restaurant for dinner. It was really nice waking up and sitting in the breakfast area watching the boats come and go. The only thing was that due to the time we came, there wasn't much sun so we didn't spend time lounging at the hotel, which I think would have been really nice. Next time we'll make sure to come at a time where the sun hits the hotel from a better angle.

Just a brilliant Hotel honestly, the service was amazing, the area is so quiet and peaceful, Milna island is our new favourite part of Croatia, it’s a much more relaxing place to be than some of the other locations we visited. An easy walk around the bay, rooms are a great size and the facilities are really good, if there was one thing I would say is that the sunbeds are in the shade for the majority of the day unless you go to the roof terrace. However I can’t really fault this hotel in any other regard, we loved it

The hotel is nice, located in a quiet place, good to spend there a few days after split. The only downside is that it is 30 mins walk from the port where boat leaves you, and you cannot get an Uber there, it would have been good if the hotel arranged to pick us up or at least offered us this option. Imo, I think they should organise a shuttle service to transport people to the hotel, once the day when the boat comes from Split.

Also on the last day, we've asked the hotel to arrange taxi in the morning, they told us to come to the parking, there was no one, we were really stressed as we could have missed the boat. The taxi was waiting downstairs, which is a bit of walk with suitcases etc and apparently hotel told the driver to wait there.

Set on a number of levels there’s always a quiet spot to sit and take in the gorgeous view. 5 minute stroll into Milna where there’s bars and restaurants. A really beautiful hotel in a fantastic location in Milan. There is a private beach area which is really beautiful. The breakfast is good and lots of nice varied fruit. The rooms are modern and very clean. only gripe is staff are not very friendly and when asking questions or ordering drinks I felt like I was bothering them. The parking is really bad, there's a car park but it's so cramped it was so stressful parking. it's an adult only hotel but one day there were kids at the beach area using the loungers but overall a fantastic stay and we will return!

The hotel was fully booked when we were there but it never felt too busy. A nice walk round to the main harbour area with enough restaurants and bars, with nice water front seating areas. Excellent hotel in all respects.

This hotel and especially the staff who run it were excellent. It’s a really nice set up with the rooms tiered up the hill and as you go further down you have reception, the dining/restaurant areas and the bar areas, pool and finally the sea with sun loungers.

We had a problem with our first room when after we unpacked, the air con started leaking a created a puddle on the floor. But we told the staff and they did everything they could to help and moved us to a new room - I can’t see how they could have been more accommodating given then circumstance.

The food and drinks were well priced, so had no problems using the onsite services for a very relaxing stay.

We went half board where you get the full A la carte dinner menu to choose from each evening, and that was both varied in choice and everything we had was delicious. So that would definitely be a no brainer for me when going again as well.

All in all an excellent stay and I’ll certainly recommend it to friends and family that want a fully relaxing stay in Croatia.

It’s a shame the hotel doesn’t to b& b as the food in the town restaurants is very good . We eat out every night as we didn’t enjoy the self service experience or food in the hotel. We thought it was an adult own hotel but young girls from outside the hotel were allowed thuds the hotel loungers by the sea and make an awful noise. The staff were lovely.

The breakfast was the highlight of our day as the lady in charge of the kitchen had gone above and beyond to ensure the guests had everything they desired. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back next time we are in Brac.

We had problems locating the hotel but once we had found it we had a wonderful time, partly due to being upgraded to the luxury suite. We really enjoyed our stay, found the staff friendly and spent hours watching the yachts refuelling at the marina whilst sunbathing. We do think that an a la carte menu should be offered in the evening rather than the buffet option and we undersand this is being considered apparently.

This newly refurbished hotel recently opened was still finding its feet. Excellent location with fabulous views I am sure will do really well. We had a number of teething problems but I am positive they will iron these out. Need to focus on the resident not the \"process\"!!

nice hotel for quiet solitude...

If you are in search of a quiet un-eventful location; this is the place! The hotel is well maintained, continental breakfast bouffet is well presented and lady in charge is eager to accommodate your needs...

Hotel has a great view of the bay and is overall pleasant for a stay by the pool... however; hotel lacks the amenities for the well seasoned travel. There is no place to have lunch or for that matter a complete dinner of consequence. It lacks a restaurant or full scale bar which can make all the difference in the world. The spa/massage facility lacks ambiance and the privacy required for the client. Once your massage appointment is in session; there should be no interruptions or other staff passing through the room! The masseuse (zvone) was exceptional; he can be scheduled through the reception desk. He was excellent and knows his craft well!

The most dissappointment was the lack of amenities available for the guests. Lack of restaurant and well trained bar staff needs immediate improvement! If you are under 50 ; this is not the town to go to or the hotel to stay at... the community of Milna needs to come to terms as to what they want to become? For a sleepy little town will never be anything to travel to unless you need petrol for your yacht.

Management has a lot to think about! Create a scene and hotel which has the ambiance to attract a trend setting crowd looking to take a break... but you need to cater with high end amenities or else ...

Love this place!

Amazing hotel and we loved our stay here. The room was clean, big and beds very comfortable! We had food included and I must say we really enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel.

The hotel is the perfect size and you can enjoy both the beach or pool, the small city of milna is also within walking distance so everything felt very nice and convenient.

We will definitely come back, we had an amazing week and felt well taken care of.

Großartige Lokation. Ganz toller Service. Frühstück gut, aber jeden Tag das gleiche. Das Abendessen war der Hit. 3 Gänge Menü aus der Karte auswählen. Hat immer hervorragend geschmeckt. Bademöglichkeit wie schon beschrieben etwas eingeschränkt, weil Öl durch die Tankstelle nebenan fließt. Wir sind zum Baden den Waldweg weiter gegangen in die Nachbarsbucht. Für Bootsliebhaber war die Tankstelle nice. Geruchsbelästigung nur, wenn der Wind vom Land kommt. Das Hotel liegt am Hang, es gibt keinen Aufzug. Das Treppensteigen ist wirklich nur für fitte Menschen geeignet.

Fint, men.

Superfint hotell, trevlig personal och god mat. Utsikten är makalös och trevligt med alla båtar som åker förbi.

Hotellet ligger i en sluttning, så räkna med många trappor!

Hotellet ligger dock på skuggsidan av Milna och bredvid en tankstation, så är du där för sol och bad är där få solstolar i solen och du får stå ut med diesel/bensindoft.

Uns hat es im Milna8 sehr gut gefallen. Unser Zimmer (Villa) war riesengroß und alles sehr sauber.

Wir hatten Halbpension und das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und eine tolle Auswahl. Die Kellner waren sehr liebenswert und hilfsbereit..

Auch hat uns die Lage mit den verschiedenen Terrassen sehr gut gefallen. Man hat von überall einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Das mit der Hafeneinfahrt hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört, im Gegenteil, wir fanden es spannend due tollen Boote/Yachten zu bewundern.

Liegen waren ausreichend vorhanden.

Am Zimmer fehlt ein Wäscheständer zum Trocknen.
Die Handtuchgebühr von 2,50/Stück/Tag fanden wir befremdlich.

Milnas beste service, og mat

Godt sted å bo i Milna med badeplass rett nedenfor terrassen er dette helt unikt her. God og personlig service. Serverer også et av de beste måltidene på Milna. Absolutt å anbefale. Ønsker du privatliv til badet ville jeg bedt om bad uten skyvedør. Skyvedør på vårt rom hang langt fra veggen og var veldig tung å skyve på.
