It is a beautiful place with scenic surroundings.Only suggestion is if you want to book go on their hotel website as they said expedia does hide few things about them and if you are making reservation through expedia then you are only hotel guest not resort guest ( means not all the activities are included and you have to pay for them seperately).

Was not very impressed by this property. They charge you to rent towels andthey don’t even make the beds. The restaurant charges for tapwater. They just don’t treat you like a guest and it’s very inconvenient and annoying to be nickel and dime for every little thing.
The pool was overly packed with people.
The location is gorgeous and kids loved the playground

The property is located in a beautiful area, surrounding the alps. But We had issues with how it was presented on expedia, it is advertised as a resort, but when we got there, they put us in what they called as a holiday home. No towels/ toiletries were provided, we had to find a store to buy some toiletries. we had to clean the room and take out trash before we left. I don’t have any problem doing these things, but then don’t call it a resort. The pool is not located in the same building as the rooms and is not very easy to get it, we didn’t get to use it at all.
The on site restaurant Siam had really good Thai food.

Definitely bring your own towels! And understand that food in Switzerland is expensive. Other than that this is an amazing location in the hills with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. There is something for all ages and you can take a morning hike up above Morschach for more spectacular views. The pool area kept the kids entertained for an entire day. Our family of 6 loved this resort.

We stayed in the hostel part of the resort and had a room with two sets of bunk beds, which led out to a huge shared deck area and also had a very large common area that overlooks the resort. We had chosen this place for a bit of respite on a backpacking tour of Europe (myself and my two teens) and it did not disappoint. We loved the pool area, there are some nice walking trails, and there is a little farm there. We would eat breakfast in the morning on the deck listening to the cow bells as they roamed the field and enjoy the view of the mountains. The food was good but we really only tried the buffet for breakfast, the pizza/pasta restaurant for dinners, and the pool snack bar/restaurant for lunches. We appreciated we could just charge things to our room by tapping our wristbands. The little store was helpful for additional snacks if wanted. Staff were helpful and friendly, room was clean, bedding was comfortable. We would definitely return and our only regret was the short amount of time we had there.

stay was very nice once we overcome the shock that our room wasn't a hotel room but rather a holiday home. it is not clearly states that the specific room (which is right next to other rooms) doesn't include housekeeping, towels etc. i think knowing that in advance would help as it would not change my decision of staying at swiss holiday park, just make me come better prepared

This place is a hidden gem in Switzerland. I had a terrific experience from the moment I arrived until the moment i left. The sound of the cow bells, the birds, the view of the mountains, everything was just magical! The room was beautiful and clean, very cozy and spacious.

This hotel is not what you expect. Be careful when booking this hotel. They don't provide you with towels and charge you $10 for each towel. They make you clean the rooms and take out the trash. If you don't they charge you. I booked two rooms for my family to stay at a nice resort, instead they gave me two apartments that I didn't not ask for. It basically ruined our trip as we had to pay for everything despite the fact that they charged us $1400 for 2 nights. When I complained they said it's because you booked through Expedia.

Terrible experience! The coustmer service is un professional treat us bad. We were put in a Hostle not in the Hotel.

We booked this hotel for 4 nights family of 4 people. But, there were only 2 bed in the bed room. One person sleep on the sofa in living room for all 4 nights. No one came to clean the room.

We have Terrible experience, bad treatment.

We should get a full refund for this trip.

Upon check-in the hotel employee that attend us discriminate against foreign people, that even laughed at us- total unprofessional m. We then ask to talk to a manager, and came the F&B Manager, that was such polite and try to remedy the situation. He is the heart, rock star of the hotel and the staff at the restaurants that where awesome! But that does not erase the fact that they discriminate against people outside Switzerland at check-in at front desk to give you a room. The hotel is definitely made for locals and thats is the way they treat the people that arrive at the hotel at check in. They made us feel like we where not welcome there. To enhance the situation we had a room booked, clearly stated in the reservation information and they gave us something completely different from what we reserved. They gave us an outdated apartment on the back of the hotel on the last building of the premises next to a construction site with loud noises from the next complex. That’s how far away we where, that didn’t had towels, bed clothing and housekeeping-which those services where specified upon the information of reservation at Expedia page and they completely disregard it because they all based there self that we reserved the hotel though out Expedia and not directly with them. Completely different room of what we reserved on Expedia, description, amenities not included. Now imagine this nightmare having with our small children, walking far in the cold to our “room”.

Been coming to the swiss holiday park for years since my children were very little and there’s always so much going on for them. Beds are comfortable, apartments clean and functional, staff are helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone with young children.
Location is lovely, halfway up a mountain with access to cable car at the Stoos or bus down to Brunnen on the lake, easy to take the boat across the lake to Luzern

Unfortunately, as my children have grown up now, they don’t take as much interest in all the activities

Food was excellent. Walls in hostel are paper thin and we had very loud neighbors until 1AM who were smoking marijuana which could be smelled through the walls. System of checking in and going to water park needs to be updated as it doesn’t really make sense… you can’t leave things in the lockers in the locker room if you want a break and then leave the water area because the system won’t let you if you still have things in your locker… Also, the hostel area needs an update as the ceiling is crumbling. Not very impressed overall.

Breakfast tasted bad. We had to make our own beds by adding the covers, there was no washroom in the room and the washroom outside was a mixed washroom with boys and girls. The whole hostel smelled bad, it smelled like a dirty washroom/pool. This is not suitable for children. It was overpriced and the room was hot.

We booked an all-inclusive holiday package with 4-meal for children. The facilities are very well managed and clean. Staff is friendly, most speak English. Food is fresh and healthy. No noise pollution, peaceful village life. A bus 504 goes to Brunnen every half an hour, with amazing restaurants and cafes. Victorinox Museum and shop in Brunnen, a boat trip to Luzern from Brunnen, a swim in Lake Luzern.

Good things first

1. They have 3 restaurants (Swiss, International and Italian). Not so expensive compared to any Swiss Restaurant.
2. Bus takes you every half an hour to Cable car station to take you to mountains.
3. Lots of activities at resort (Pool, Spa, Mini Golf etc)
4. Very friendly staff.
5. Breakfast buffet is good.

1. Rooms are very small.
2. Beds were hard.

We would defiantly go back to resort for weekend trips.

We stayed in one of the 2 bedrooms apartments. Large and comfortable, very impressed.
We were pleased with the free shuttle to the cable car for Stoos, a very nice skiing town.
Also pleased by the free use of the swimming pool, well equipped, there is children area with slides and games, and heated outdoor area with great views and massage jets.

Disappointed by the apartment not providing towels or any courtesy amenities like water and sugar, and the fact that we had to make the beds ourselves. To top this up, there was a charge of CHF 130 for cleaning services at check out although GUESTS are required to:
- remove ALL bedding from beds
- make sure ALL kitchen utensils were left clean
- remove any utensils from dishwasher
- leave apartment tidy and neat
- no rubbish to be left in the apartment bins
I normally comply with most of the above when checking out from a holiday apartment, however, at this point the CHF 130 charge for cleaning services seems ludicrous.
All in all a great place to stay though!

Great place for kids.

This resort is great for families and kids. Not so much for a ski trip, as the shuttle buses for skiing only run until 4:15pm. If you miss that, you don’t have any other ways to get to the hotel from the ski lift. Also, it took us an hour and a half to get on the lift to come down...just FYI. There aren’t buses to/from the airport, which result in an expensive Uber to and from the Zurich airport. My suggestion: Rent a car.
The game room is super fun and the Bowling as well. Pony ride for kids was awesome, authentic and affordable! The underground indoor water park was cool!! Kids eat free from the buffet, which is nice. Make restaurant reservations!!!
I wish the kids game room that is open for playing was where they held the Tom’s Happy Club because my son loved to play in there and did NOT like the club room. Which was unfortunate because we booked this resort to utilize the kids camp and could not because he did NOT Ike it. maybe switch the rooms? The other is more open and bright and more inviting. The restaurant next to the hotel is really good!! Was a good place to go to change up the food from the resort restaurants offered.

Enchanting place with a few cons

We stayed 2 weeks in summer with 3 kids: 3 mo, 2 yo and 4 yo so we were looking for a family friendly place, where we can explore. The place is beautiful and the hotel is in a perfect location. It is surrounded by green fields, hills, mountains and forests that you can hike in with the kids 100 meters from the hotel. There are also a few restaurants around and many playgrounds so you don’t feel completely isolated even though you are in paradise. Wherever you walk you end up in a magical place. A beautiful town by the lake is only 5 min drive away or 1/2 hour walk. It has lovely restaurants on the water and boats you can take to go around the lake. The hotel restaurant has free kids buffet which has very good healthy choices for kids everyday. The pools are great, beautiful outside one and many inside ones for all ages. The hotel also provides free strollers and carriers so you don’t have to carry your own. Now the cons: the room was SUPER small. We booked a quadruple room thinking it would have decent space for a family of 4. But it had only a small closet and a sleeping sofa attached to the double bed which, when opened, left absolutely no space to walk around. Also EVERYTHING is in German with no English translations except for the main restaurant menu. The kids club schedule is also in German ONLY and so are all activities so we could not leave the kids at all. Also the daily cleaning of the room is very minimal and sloppy with trash left laying around. Overall great stay

My hotel room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony for nice views of the mountain and nearby village. Although the resort was uphill and quite far from downtown Lucerne, but we were happy to be in close proximity of the famous Swiss Path. The trail led us to high view points for panoramic views of Lake Lucerne and Mount Pilatus. All the staff in different work shifts at the reception were polite, friendly and helpful. They were eager to provide assistance whenever necessary such as parking locations, electrical adaptors and purchase of SIM cards for my mobile phone. Buffet breakfast in a separate building was quite enjoyable with a large variety of food.

Great place to stay with children, my 4 year old loved the pool etc. The apartment was a good size and the location of the park is great.

The downside are the unexpected 'extras' which are not mentioned on the Hotels.com T&Cs, not mentioned at check in and are quite unusual. 1st, you have to make your bed when you arrive and to strip it when you leave (bit like a youth hostel) and not what I wanted to do after travelling for many hours. 2nd, no towels are included and you have to rent these from reception (8CHF a pack) 3rd, no toiletries at all in the apartment.

The above is very strange to me for a high-end resort.

The location is superb, easy access via bus and cable car to Stoos for skiing and the lake and mountain views stunning.

We ate in 2 of the on-site restaurants and they were OK. It's a very kid friendly resort, and there are kids everywhere - great if you have them, I suspect less great if you don't.

1 week in the Swiss Alps

Swiss Holiday Park is a great resort for families, couples, solo travelers! What we loved the most was the sporting facilities they host including climbing walls, badminton courts to name's few. Theme park like pool slides, in general fabulous swimming facilities with spa + steam sauna Jacuzzi and fabulous views. The property is in a good location and quite central to go some of the must do's in Switzerland.

Too many hidden costs.

The resort was alright and the flat was very clean. But be ready to shell out high price for any activity. For eg. 1 hr badminton would cost 38 CHF with 5 CHF per hour to rent a racquet.

When I checked out I spent 1 hr cleaning the apartment and yet they charged 110 CHF for cleaning the apartment which was not mentioned while booking.

Breakfast is 27CHF per person. Parking costs seperate (forgot the cost, but wasn't cheap)

Hotel muito Bom próprio pra família e criança. Achei ruim pois todas as atividades são pagas, somente a piscina é gratuita. Tudo tem que alugar, toalha, roupão… caso não traga. Mas a estrutura é ótima, tem escola de esqui. Disponibilizam van gratuita para pegar o bondinho. Gostamos muito!! A vila que fiquei é longe do complexo do hotel sem acesso à piscina. Então complica um pouco e tem que deixar o quarto limpo na saída. Quarto não o apartamento. Louça lavada etc…

On doit amener ses propres sacs poubelle, il n’y a pas de gel douche à disposition, les meubles sont usés, les linges pour la salle de bain sont une option supplémentaire payante, les draps des lits sont posés dessus dans un sac plastique (on doit donc faire et défaire à la fin les lits nous-mêmes), la ferme avec les animaux était fermée au public lorsque nous y étions (août 2024), et pour finir lors du Check out on apprend que le parking est payant (CHF12/jour). Par contre, employés sympa et situation de l’hôtel pratique (proche du lac des 4 cantons).

Just for families with at least 2 kids!

I just recommend this place to the families with at least 2 kids otherwise It didn’t at all worth the price!

Everything in the hotel was very basic and not at all like the picture. The water resort area was good but again not worth the price.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier, mit Enkelkindern ist es einfach genial, der Sport Dome, das Schwimmbad, Bowling, es kommt keine Langeweile auf. Die Appartements sind komfortabel,
alles da was man braucht. Wir kommen wieder….

Überrissene Preise. Personal nicht besonders freundlich. Aufpreis für Klettern etc. obwohl für eine Nacht mehr als CHF 800.- bezahlt wird...für dieses Geld hätte ich mehr erwartet!

Gute Infrastruktur. Leider Mittags sehr wenig Essensauswahl (Pizza, Pasta, Pommes, Salatbuffet).
Und leider war die gebuchte Hotel-Suite kein Hotelzimmer sondern eine Ferienwohnung ohne Handtücher und Srife. Sogar die Betten mussten wir selber anziehen. Diese Info wäre bei der Buchung ein Muss

Schade, dass einige Attraktionen nicht verfügbar waren.

Pizzen kann die Qualität mit dem Preis nicht mithalten.
Im Bistro fast ausschliesslich Wegwerfgeschirr.

Fazit: Gutes Wochenende aber vieles hat seinen Aufpreis

très bon complexe

beau complexe multi activités avec un très bel espace piscine les activités sont en extra, il faut le savoir de même que les linges pour la piscine et pour ceux qui dorment en appartement. Apportez les vôtres... les appartements sont très fonctionnels et confortables.
cadre magnifique au bord du lac et entouré des montagnes
