Not a 4-star or even close! AVOID this hotel!
Family run hotel but owners made me feel like I was an inconvenience. $650 for 2 nights turned into $900 when they messed up during check in and decided to charge $250 on check out.
Room was spacious but dated and furniture frayed. Bathroom was updated. Ceiling in room was covered with splattered bug guts. I counted at least 20. No temperature control in room.
Spa was ok but was told to save on energy only 2 of 5 sauna/steams were turned on. For the money - these owners need to make available all services they advertise. Do t be fooled by the pictures the views are ok but they need to cut down 2 trees that block view from in the outdoor pool.
Breakfast was continental with cold eggs and odd tasting bacon. Decent selection but still a glorified continental breakfast.
Bottom Line: I would avoid this hotel. It’s certainly not a 4-star experience. This is a 3-star hotel because of its spa but I give it a 2-star due to the level of service received. There are plenty of other hotels to stay at and I would strongly encourage you to explore other options.

I loved everything about this place - perfect location to relax for a week

Loved the family-run atmosphere. Unfortunately, no A/C and the fan provided was noisy. Also, we booked accommodations for a party of 3 via Expedia and received a confirmation. However, the hotel charged us an extra 30 Swiss Francs for the third person…beyond what we had already paid via Expedia for triple occupancy. This was not right.

We were late informed at check in that the wellness area required 2G+ which cost us a lengthy trip into Lucerne Center for a PCR test. At checkout they tried to charge us for a very expensive breakfast, which we never had.

Worth a Weekend Getawat
You can't get enough of a morning view of the lake, hills and mountains at this hotel. Although, it rained all day during one of our nights here, the hotel had an atmosphere were you don't feel guilty of staying in and just relaxing. The thermal bath was definitely the main attraction during our stay (especially for our 4 year old daughter).

Located in a nice and secluded place. It is quite and calm. The hotel itself is an old-style building but the service was very good. Facilities such as sauna, jacuzzi and outdoor infinity pool (there is also a small indoor pool shaped like half-moon) are really great and top-notch. For the price, it is excellent. The small downside is the WiFi connection which is quite weak (we got a room at the end of the corridor so it may have contributed to the poor signal).

Lovely family run hotel near to the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff, hotel was difficult to fault. Tremendous food in the restaurant with a wide choice. Buffet breakfast was a delight on a balcony overlooking the lake. The road outside was very quiet and there is a small underground carpark. If this fills up there is a public carpark free to use.

My wife annnnnd myself stayed in the hotel five nights in April 2017 and we enjoyed it very much. Excellent location with fabulous lake and mountains view. Very pleasant atmosphare. Friendly and efficient staff. Very good restaurant, breakfast and dinner. Pleasant and very clean room and public areas. Easy access for luggage from the parking level to the elevator.
Two cons. 1)The mattress of my bed (room 22) was not comfortale, l didn't sleep well. 2) There was no kattle in the room and for each cup of tea we had to call the room sevice. We will most probably come again to Gerbi Weggis but will verify in advance that these two issues are improved.

Und wir, die 2 Nächte verbracht und gegessen hatten kein Platz! Nur Sauna angestellt und das ab 11 Uhr. Alles Andere erst ab 14Uhr...dies in einem 4Stern Wellness Wohlfühlhotel an einem Wochenende?? Im sogenannten Ruhezimmer lief eine Teemaschine andauern...störend! Komischer Geruch im Wellnessbereich. Alles in allem für diese Preise ist dies für ein 4Sterne Hotel inakzeptabel.

Acces a l espace sauna avec sauna, sauna aux herbes, luminothérapie, hammam, grottes de sel ' espace detente exterieur et interieur a l etage dont lit a eau et chaises longues. Personnes très avenantes. Cependant la soit disant prise électrique pour recharger la voiture n’a pas fonctionné jusqu’au bout. Cela aurait pu nous créer de graves ennuis. Personnes extrêmement aimables. Rapport Qualité Prix mauvais pour la vétusté des lieux. 500€ pour une nuit avec resto et encore on paie une petite entrée au spa. Ça fait trop !
