EXcellent resort with plenty activities for everyone. We statyed in the deluxe villas. Only real issue is that its quite a walk to where the car was parked and to the main complex but as the weather was nice this wasn't a problem but might be different in storms or during winter. Played golf three times. Easy to book and play and club looked after my clubs.

Loved the heated bathroom floor. Nice rooms. Couch was not very comfortable but other chairs in the living room area were good. TV in room 201 bedroom had wrong saturation and coloring so was not really watchable in bedroom but the one in living room was fine. Had issues with volume in 215 but that was resolved after turning TV off and back

Need to book in advance if you want to eat in dining however they did allow us to order and pick it up Our two rooms were a good 5 min walk apart, would have been nice to be closer together. Washer and dryers right outside room that is shared with room next door. Worked great to be able to do a few
Loads while we were there. Overall nice location. Parking near rooms never opened but they had a larger parking lot near reception. Needed porter to get bags from room to car. Overall was mainly quiet except when room next door was on speaker phone for business call.

The Japanese restaurant Kobe was over-priced and very small portions, compared with many of the Japanese restaurants we have eaten at in Sydney.
Also, the Body Wash, Shampoo and Conditioner bottles all had their labels in 6 pt font. I don't wear glasses in the shower. Please fix.
Otherwise one of the nicest holidays ever - Millbrook is simply beautiful. Switzerland on steroids without the 24 hour flight. even better now with Ayrburn next door. Billy's is world class.
And Rumbla Restaurant (spelling) in Arrowtown is exceptional. Order the Chef's Suggestions.

Millbrook was an AMAZING resort to stay at. If you're into golf, I would definitely recommend booking a tee time, even if it is winter. The staff was amazing and the shuttle service was AMAZING.

It’s always been on my goal list to stay here - everything was lovely the yoga spa pool property and amazing staff - but the rooms were tired cold and no under floor heating in the bathrooms - I’ve visited Millbrock so many times and it was so nice to have a vacation over the hill but for the price of the rooms I was quite disappointed but the scenery staff, and grounds are just stunning and I really enjoyed them Dx

A beautiful location with accommodation finished to a very high standard. Our one bedroom suite has a fully equipped kitchen, including fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, microwave and oven. Bed was huge and very comfortable, bathroom had twin basins, a shower and bath with plenty of piping hot water. Staff are attentive and very helpful, and happy to assist in any way. Options for dining are good, with wide range of locally sourced produce. Golf coaching was a high point for my son, would highly recommend booking this before your visit if you're interested. Free shuttle to nearby Arrowtown and to Queenstown very useful, as parking can be at a premium at busy times. This is our 4th start, and we'll definitely be returning

Beautiful property. We ate off property most of the time since we wanted to try different local restaurants so cannot comment about the food. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was large with a nice sitting area and a patio. Great location to use as a base to explore everything Queenstown and the surrounding area has to offer.

Borderline fraud situation between Expedia and Millbrook where my confirmed reservation was downgraded to a studio despite a confirmed reservation in a one-bedroom suite owing to Expedia apparently only booking a studio. Perfect place to say outside of Queenstown
such a gorgeous spot in the South Island. We aren't golfers but were still thrilled to stay here. The grounds are gorgeous and the leaves changing color this time of year (early April) were just stunning. Handy location to Arrowtown and Lake Hayes. We walked but you could get a ride if you asked at reception. You can also call reception and get a golf cart to pick you up and take you anywhere on the property. Dinner at Kobe was great. The fitness center was really well equipped and there are even classes most mornings if you want to do Yoga or Barre or Pilates etc.

From collection by shuttle in Queenstown to return journey the service we encountered was exemplary. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, accommodating and all the other superlatives. Our studio was very spacious, with separate walk-in large robe, bathroom with bath and separate shower, separate toilet room, living space with desk, comfy chairs and king size bed, there was an entry hall for hanging coats, etc. Loved that every area had opening windows and shutters or curtains to keep out the cold night air. We liked the heating system, it was quiet and effective. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, stone walls and structures, walkways and tranquility. A number of dining options available, we tried three. The Japanese restaurant was exceptional. Good choice at breakfast buffet and enjoyed chicken korma at the Hole in One cafe. Golf buggy pick up and drop off with bags, free shuttle to and from Arrowtown.

Very nice room with large comfortable bed and chairs. We were there in mid Feb and the room was a bit warm with no ac. It cooled down nicely at night. The shuttle to town was very useful. I wish we would have brought our clubs to play the beautiful courses. Only complaint is the 2 main restaurants were booked during our 2 day stay. It would have been helpful if the resort would have recommended making reservations when we made our booking (2 months in advance). The resort did not do anything to try and compensate us.

I’m a big fan of Millbrook have stayed several times over the years. Put up with crap service during COVID times but now it’s more of a joke they claim “eco” which just means no service .. I don’t mind if you don’t change towels or sheets but not emptying rubbish replacing tea and coffee etc or restocking the mini bar is just poor service . Sure you can ask for it but it’s not what I want to do at 11pm after a big day out then wait 15 min for someone to come.

outstanding natural beauty, ringed by mountains, this resort is an exceptionally stunning place to stay. They have blended the older historic buildings with the newer accommodations in such sympathetic manner, All of a cloth. We stayed in a spacious, comfortable 2 bedroom suite which was pristinely clean, with sumptuous bed linens, huge comfy beds, spacious living- dining room areas with fireplaces, complete with a kitchenette and all the amenities you would expect in a five star resort. Large ensuite bathrooms with separate shower and massive bathtubs, with patios overlooking the golf greens -all with a stunning mountainous backdrop. This well established historic resort is graced with a plethora of 200 year old shade trees and gorgeous long established mature gardens filled with flowers, brooks and fragrant bushes. The Millhouse restaurant has exquisite food and the other eateries have indoor and alfresco seating to enjoy the natural surroundings. The only thing we missed out on was the spa treatment appointments were fully booked though we called a week in advance and it was one of the reasons we booked into this glorious estate. Staff were friendly and helpful and the entire estate oozes luxury in a quiet understated way. Its a one of a kind diamond among gems.

Millbrook Resort has a lot to offer for a stay - even for non golfers like us. That said we used it to just chill out for a night. You do often need to book the fine dining Restaraunts in advance, but we found the Hole in One cafe to be perfect for a relaxed meal and drinks.

It was amazing! Millbrook Resort is picturistic and unbelievable comfortable! We stayed in the 2 bedroom Suite. Cozy, warm, spacious, practical! It has fully equipped kitchen and laundrary, very considerate for ski trip! Haven't mentioned the super friendly and professional staff that are always there for you. The shuttle bus to Arrowtown and Queenstown made your stay is as home. Everything is perfect! You must try the hot tub outside of the swimming pool, It is just on top of the world feeling!

A good and quiet place to stay, especially for golfers. The room was nice, clean and spacious but would have ticked all the boxes if there was also a hand washing basin in the separate toilet though. Very good service at breakfast. Will be back.

We stayed here for two nights. It is of superb quality. It was raining super hard when we arrived and a lovely friendly staff member took us to our suite in a golf cart, with our luggage. The room had a beautiful cottage garden out front for us to enjoy as well as a good view of the golf course at the back. It felt very private. There was a huge bath with bath salts to indulge in our room. We used the shuttle to go into Queenstown one evening. The other evening we had an excellent meal at Kobe. The on-site Japanese restaurant. I would recommend this too. Lovely stay.

Golf course had the greens just cored which was dissapoiting but that's life I guess.
Only other downside was that the advertised free shuttle to Qtown was booked out resulting in a few costly uber and taxi fares
Could perhaps do more on a price point to entice kiwis to stay and play golf now that the border is closed to overseas tourists.
Hopefully will come back for another trip in the New Year and bring the family as family facilities looked awesome too.

Millbrook is a lovely resort to spend time in. Beautiful scenery, great walking, approx 35 minutes walk into Arrowtown or 5 minute drive. Great gym, pool, hot pools and restaurants all good. All this and I don’t play golf but this is a golf resort.

It was so peaceful, loved that cars are parked away from the rooms so you don't hear people starting them up in the mornings. The grounds are beautiful. The gardens around the rooms look like they are something out of a fairytale. If i could say anything negative, the hot pools are a bit dated and the coffee could have been a bit nicer. But Arrowtown isn't far away for good coffee and they have a free pick up drop off service.
