This property indicated that is has laundry facilities, however, there were NO washing machines or dryers available according to Gonzalo at the front desk. He was very rude about it denying that their listing said anything about having a washing machine at all!

The place was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice big lounge area. I enjoyed my stay and it is beautiful overlooking the river. It was quiet even though the street in front was busy. Blackout curtains are there if you need them. There was extra pillows and blankets if needed but I didn’t. I liked the bathroom. There was shower gel but no shampoo or conditioner which was fine because I brought my own but it is handy to know that. It is in the old part of town which is lovely. It was easy to walk to stores and farmacias or bodegas. Beautiful Christmas displays in the town. I had a great stay there. You can get laundry done if needed, I didn’t go to the cafe in the building but it is nice to have one handy. There is parking but it is not free.

The location was excellent. Walking distance to old town and right by the river that has a beautiful walking path along it. Also easy walking distance to Bodegas Francos Españolas Winery. The rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful and check in was a breeze. There is onsite parking - your car gets its own elevator and designated space.

Old town, new little gem!

Surprising little gem on the edge of the old town which meant only a very short walk up into town to get an evening meal and explore. Being on motorbikes the lift to the car park negated any worries about steep curved entry and exit as is often the case in town centre hotels. Spa gym and pool, unused by me on this occasion, might well appeal on a future visit! Well done

Nice views from our window. appreciated the refrigerator in the room. Like most European hotels the windows (floor to ceiling French windows) could be opened to let fresh air in. Would have been perfect if the breakfast came complimentary with the cost of room.
I did not like the fact that Expedia was vague about payment. Please have more clarity when you say Your reservation is confirmed.
I thought I had already paid with my card and was surprised to be charged.

Great place for the price! It had secure parking, was close to all the action, but was *just* far enough away (maybe 5 min walk) to have a quiet room. Nice size elevators, good room with nice bathroom and bathtub. We had our 11 month old with us and we were very happy with our stay. Good breakfast (ours was included) with very helpful and happy staff! Would absolutely recommend. Great price too!

Right by the river, this hotel offers some nice views. It is also an easy walk to Bodegas Franco Españolas on the other side of the Ebro, or to Calle Laurel, which is a lively lane of tapas joints in the centre of town.

Every staff member I encountered was polite and helpful, especially the gentleman who asked the bartender to give me big cup of ice. (There’s no ice machine at the hotel)

If you own a travel-sized EU hairdryer, you may want to pack it, since the one here is the useless kind that is attached to the wall by a short cord and requires you to hold down a button to make it run.

Good three star hotel by the rio Ebro

During our visit to several towns throughout Northern Spain, this was the only three star hotel and it wasn’t a great deal different from any of the four star hotels we previously stayed at.
The room (overlooking the Bridge) was a reasonable size and the bathroom appealed more than in other hotels as it was modern and very functional.
The check-in and check-out was efficient and my request for an additional pillow was quickly responded to.
The breakfast is made to order and has a good choice. There is no bar on site, but some vending machines are available.
On site parking is via a lift and this is quite tricky, especially getting out again, so the assistance of the staff was much appreciated.

I have stayed at the F&G several times. Good for both business and short breaks. Clean, Friendly and close to the old town.
Only downside of this trip was very noisy drunken guests until 2am in the room next door, other guests eventually complained and things got quietened down, however i think the Hotel night staff should have sorted this long before complaints had to be made.
I'd definitely stay here again though as overall its an excellent hotel.

Staff are excellent and very helpful.

Hotel description is misleading. There is NO aircon except in the summer. This is a big problem because the rooms are too hot, and the road noise means you can't open the window.

There is also NO mini bar.

Great value for a nice hotel. Wish the restaurant or bar would have been open Sunday. Hotel HVAC had been switched over to heating only, so since it was a warmer day, we opened our balcony door for some cooling til the room was comfy. This was our second stay here, so was good.

The hotel is built round the old city wall and is decorated by wonderful works of art all around the hotel.Its overlooking the River Ebro and is close to the old town.The famous Laurels is nearby where you can visit many tapas bars and restaurants.Visit the cathedral or walk by the river it's all nearby.

Great hotel is you weren't a Pilgrim

We booked into the hotel to treat ourselves after long few days on the road walking.
Upon our arrival we were not great with the same respect as other hotel guest who seemed to have been dressed for hoilday atire. Where we had our pilgrim walking attire.
Otherwise the facilties are great, spa, sauna to help recover your body. Close to the city centre.

Peaceful break & fantastic hotel to enjoy.

I was in Logrono on a break with my son, for peace and quite, and that was exactly what I got staying in F&G hotel. The area was very peaceful and easy in terms of location to move around. The hotel was just the right place to stay if you needed a rest and a break from busy life style.

The hotel was right on the edge of the old city, within walking distance to everything. The hotel had parking underground for an extra 15 Euros. But you had to have a midget car to take their elevator down. Very scary. Usually I wouldn't pay this much for a room, but I made a mistake when booking. I loved the city, so it was worth it.

Comfortable stay

Hotel was easy to find, car parking at 15 euros a night was a little expensive. Rooms were great though the TV channels limited, hotel facilities were good and location was close to the centre but far enough away to be quiet at night. Did not eat at the hotel but what I saw looked good. Staff were always friendly and cheerful. In room air conditioning was a blessing and the shower was good.

Hotel overlooking the River Ebro

The hotel is skirting the old town of Logrono and is near to the Cathedral and the Laurels where there are several tapas bars.The river Ebro runs alongside where there's a beautiful park to take a long walk or bike ride.Logrono is the capital of the Rioja region.

excellent classy hotel in a great location over looking the river and park but only 5 mins walk from all the central logrono bars. Hotel parking or ample free on street parking. good gym too, overall excellent and great value. Highly recommended

Perfect location in Logrono

The only issues we had was during our first night there, an awful snoring noise came from the room beneath us. The next morning, the front desk was very quick to move us to another room, without any fuss. (We even scored a better view because of this!). Both rooms were clean, comfortable and well laid out. And a great price too!

Close to the Old Town

This is a great hotel next to the old town,and near to tapas bars and restaurants. The River Ebro runs along side and there are some great walks and picnic areas along the riverbank.In the old town there are some interesting buildings and beautiful cathedrals.Logrono is the centre of the Rioja wine district and there are some coops nearby.

Great budget pick for nice stay

The staff and service were simply great. The hotel is really nice and clean and quite modern for the price, especially considering there is a small gym and a hot ton and sauna. The only thing that was not good was the room service. The chicken I ordered came not as described, but literally was an unsalted, unsauced piece of meat with similarly bare, soggy fries. But everything else was great. Did not try the bite restaurant, which perhaps was better. Highly recommend this hotel.

All around value, great location and variety!

I had a great rest stop here while walking the Camino de Santiago. The location is perfect when entering the city and close to all attractions. I enjoyed the variety offered, with a proper restaurant as well as the casual cafeteria and the health club. I would return here without hesitation.

Nice hotel, needs improvement.

After several days on the Camino de Santiago, we needed a good day of rest in a nice hotel. The place is very convenient to the trail (literally, right as you cross the bridge into town). The problems began with a broken jacuzzi. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel over the others with high rankings was the jacuzzi. The hotel staff was very dismissive and didn't seem to realize the draw this amenity provided them from those walking the Camino. This was a major disappointment.

The room we booked came with two twin beds pushed together. That may have been my fault, as I may have misread the booking and assumed it was a standard bed. Regardless, my wife and I found this a little uncomfortable.

Last negative, the hotel decided to hold a conference reception in the hotel lobby the last night of our trip. The lobby is beautiful! I can see why they would want to hold a cocktail reception there. High ceiling, creative architecture (the hotel is in a triangular shape), ancient stone archway,... The problem was the area was PACKED, and the noise was incredible. Since almost every room in the hotel is in that central space, I can't imagine we were the only one's put off by this. I understand it was a Saturday night, but at 11pm with a long day ahead of us, this was not very amusing.

Great location, great service great vuew

Everyhing was really nice, I think this hotel deserves more than 3 stars! I would definetly stay here if I went back to Logroño. A great tip is to ask for a rooom with a view of EBRO river ;)

New hotel, nice rooms, excellent food service

Unfortunately the room was too warm and the AC did not work since it is linked to outside ambient temperature and at night it was cold therefore we were with not very good sleep. Other than that it is a very nice hotel.

V nice. Location may not suit all as its a bit tricky into town, but only a few minutes. But good for walkers doing the camino. Clean & tidy. Parking is tricky but easier than some of the other hotels in logrono. I'm back next week.!!!

Great hotel in a great town!

Had to go to Logrono for business and found this hotel, which turned out to be great. Even better was when I found out that Logrono is the tapa capital of Spain! The hotel is not far from the tapa bar district and city center, nice short walk away.

Located at the edge of the old town, this is a well run modern 3 star hotel Staff was very helpful, and efficient with our 15 parson group.Rooms are tastefully decorated, and bathrooms are particularly nice.A good value.

Good hotel, not great

... But good. Beware the room service, but that shouldn't be a problem as it is only available for three hours a day, and there are some great tapas bars only a few blocks away. Also the jacuzzi is only warm, not hot.

Really good hotel - super location...

(+) A hotel to be recommended...Location, interior, large rooms, clean, etc. Very good for the price / Excellenct value for the money. Short walking distance - less than 5 min - to center of the old town, bar, cafes, tapas, resturants, etc (-) If you can avoid do not park your car in the basement of the hotel - it's a nightmare - unless your car is a very small car

Good value hotel

Good location-close to areas of interest and also with lovely view of the river (if you are that side of the hotel). The air con was v noisy and the rooms weren't that well sound proofed however we didn't find anything disturbed our sleep too much. The spa was a nice addition and also there's a fair priced cafe adjoining the hotel if you don't go for the full breakfast. Staff were helpful but could have been friendlier.
