Nice stay in what I guess is a business/ conference hotel. Only draw back bar not open but plenty of options available locally. Easy parking with onsite underground car park. Breakfast good with cooked and continental selections available. Staff friendly and helpful. About 20 mins walk into centre of Logrono old town, straight forward route.

The property is clean and feels new. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is great, beyond my expectations. Down side, parking is extremely tight but great to keep car parked in safe location. About the room, a little small for my taste but McLean and comfortable beds. The a/c control was an issue being that I like to keep my room cool and has no individual controls. Therefore the hotel controls the a/c and was forced with a heater. When I contacted the staff about this, they suggested that I open the windows which I don’t like to sleep while hearing the noise from the outside and thinking that a roach or rat can crawl in through the window. I was shocked that being an American chain they don’t have individual a/c controls. About the location, centrally located , just. A few minutes away from Calle Laurel and many popular landmarks.

This place was nice. The property looked a little run down on the outside, but inside was nice. Didn't have any problems. Outside parking was full so I had to use the inside parking underneath the building, for a fee. Took a few minutes to find the building because there isn't a very clear sign in front.

Comfortable rooms with good bed and shower. About 15 minute walk to Tapas streets. Decent gym facilities but you need to pre book (no problem getting a slot). We paid for parking but you can park on the street outside for free I think. Breakfast was ok but was a served buffet (I assume due to covid) so staff were stressed as there were a lot of people waiting. I would have preferred to have breakfast out.

Quiet Night with Comfortable Beds and Clean Room

Quiet clean room a convenient 5 minutes from old town Logrono with best pinchos street Cal Laurel in Rioja/better than San Sebastien/Haro by far. Limited free parking which was available for us. Entrance to hotel inconvenient and only used the hotel to sleep and enjoyed comfortable beds in a quiet part of town only a short ride to the heart of the action. Staff helpful with directions, polite and pleasant to deal with fluent in English which was a plus. No issues with our stay.

We stayed 2 nights at the property, in which time we encountered 3 other guests - other than that, the hotel was a ghost town. This might sound appealing to some, but it was almost too quiet - there was no atmosphere. The hotel is in an inconvenient location to the famous Pintxos lanes of Logroño, and otherwise surrounded by suburban or carpark areas. There was often noise outside during the early hours of the morning. The rooms and hotel are becoming outdated. The gym had old and broken equipment. To the credit of staff, they were friendly and helpful - but there was not much else going for the property.

We had a four night stay visiting family over a bank holiday weekend. We chose this hotel due to its locality near to our relations and knew that it was a 20 minute walk from the old town. The reception staff were friendly spoke good English and were helpful with information about local events, emailing us a programme of events which was really useful. The room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast daily and there was a wide choice including gluten free and lactose free products. Unfortunately there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and only one complimentary bottle of water during our stay. I appreciate facilities vary country to country but complimentary water would have been better than nothing. The hotel is a fair way from the old town but the number 5 bus stops nearby and is very cheap.
We had a lovely stay and would stay here again.

Great place especially if you have a car

Everything was good. Check in lady was great-explained about free parking around the hotel which saved us some money. Gym was small but new and clean. Just a short walk into town and I like being in a quieter area . Would have liked a coffee maker in the room but overall a great stay.
My only complaint is I left some items and it has been impossible to get a hold of the hotel by email. I do not have a phone and am not sure why they won’t provide an email address?

This Hotel was convenient and yet off the main road which was a positive. In reviews of other hotels in Lagrono, the streets are noisy due to a full and active nightlife. This hotel was in the city but on a quiet street. The staff was great, room very clean and well appointed. I recommend as a strong option.

Modern hotel in central but quiet area with underground parking. 15 minutes walk to old town with loads of tapas bars. Hotel reception staff excellent and arranged a visit for us to a winery very quickly - brilliant experience. Great massages in the Spa, just what we needed after driving through the snows.

Good hotel not so good management

It is a very good hotel. However I had a problem in check-in. Although I made full payment quite in advance for a double room, while I was check-in I was told that there was no double room awailable and they would give me a room with three separate beds. I did not like thee room with three beds, after discussing the situation with the person who could not help me at all some other person gave me a room with double bed. But it was on the top floor next to elevators, and all night long we had to listen the noise of electric motor of the elevators. Next day, which was our last day, finally we had a nice room.

Sat nav got us to road and hotel. However entrance was not obvious at all no sign. We drove round it twice. Concrete block and location not brilliant. Once inside hotel itself was good. Our hot water to bath did not work we did not bother to call service as was late at night and knew it probably couldnt be fixed but shower was good. They should supply small towels as nothing to put round your head when washed hair. Reception were extremely helpful, just would have liked better location.

From the blurb this looked like a good hotel in a good location.
WRONG..is one side of a horseshoe of flats, with concrete area used by residents for football. It is a Travelodge Hotel at 4 star prices

Bathroom was not clean and when this was mentioned to the staff at reception were not apologetic and were standoffish.

No drink making facilities in the room only over priced minibar.

No on road parking so had to pay an additional charge to park - difficult to find reception.

Had an meal in the restaurant, no child menu so paid for three adult meals with wine and coffee, no options given for 11 year old...but friendly/helpful waiter.

Very good Indeed

I appreciated the Hotel and the Staff, and since i do not speak Spanish, i was fearing that the language may be an issue, but no. all went well, the staff was very friendly and forthcoming. The meals were great at the restaurant, and the drinks were served in a generous portions size.Really a great place to spend time. Also, walking distance to the best Tapa Bar in the City.

We enjoyed our stay at the AC La Rioja Marriott. Our room was nice and clean. We enjoyed a lovely dinner with delicious food at the hotel restaurant. If you are going to Logrono to visit bodegas, then you are better off scheduling the tours yourself or going to the Longrono tourist office. The front desk spoke limited English and was not helpful with this service.

We wanted somewhere to sleep and a great base to explore from. This hotel did everything that we asked for and the reception staff were very helpful with our dreadful Spanish. Great business hotel and very quiet. Only down side was a fair walk to nightlife.

When we arrived on a Sunday there was only one person manning the hotel, and it was raining, we had to take care of everything with our luggage and car. There was no one, except a lady in the reception area, doing everything, including ice from the bar.....

AC Rioja is overpriced for its location, far outside the business/leisure districts. Especiall galling was the hotel computer which you were obliged to pay for with a prepaid card, then ferused to function. even the desk guy had troible with it.

I would not recomend AC Rioja unless you have money to burn and are a computer tech.

un hotel con 4 estrellas de Marriott debria tener abierto el Restaurante y más a este precio! La habitación estaba bien pero la calefacción algo caluroso y la regulación no funcionaba. Al apagarla, por la noche hacía frío… Esta a unos 20 minutos a pie de Calle Laurel, un paseo agradable para hacer hambre y visitar el centro.

Mejoraría la insonorización del exterior. El ruido del tráfico impide poder descansar adecuadamente y si el motivo de la estancia es por ocio, el cliente lo que quiere es poder descansar y no escuchar el tráfico desde primera hora de la mañana. Por lo demás el hotel está fenomenal y el trato del personal de 10.

La experiencia en el hotel ha sido muy buena, todo correcto. En los alrededores hay aparcamiento gratuito, está a 20 minutos del centro a pie y la zona donde se ubica el hotel es muy tranquila. Nos alojamos en una habitación con cama doble y un sofá cama. El baño estaba bien equipado con bañera y ducha.
