We stayed here with two children in the family room (2 bedrooms, poolside), and had zero complaints. The setting is gorgeous, breakfast was delicious rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. They have a shuttle travel to and from the beach every 3 hours. Lots of food in walking distance. Would absolutely recommend.

Staff is awesome and friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have the greatest experience. Room cleaning could use some improvement - there were dirty dishes left during the daily cleaning. Also the property and especially the bathrooms could use some updating.

Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond on service. They even decorated one of our rooms for our son's birthday. The two bedroom villa we stayed in was adequate but the living room area only had a rather small two seater sofa and a beanbag which was completely flat. Made it a bit difficult for us to sit and relax in the evening together when it was raining.
The beds are also very hard and quite uncomfortable to sleep on. The rooms were kept clean but our main grumble is that the cleaners leave the door wide open during their clean which allows all the mosquitos into the villa. We were constantly having to spray the rooms with big spray from 7/22.
The breakfast selection was quite small and as a result we only ate twice during the 4 day stay. There wasn't anything substantial for my wife who is gluten intolerant other than fruit.

Was charged twice. Then was told it was expedia, when expedia never had the card that I put down on file. Spent days disputing the charge when I should've been enjoying my vacation. My bank looked at times they hit my account and the charges were 12 hours apart. Unfortunate since the hotel was beautiful.

The highlights of my stay were definitely the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help — the service was excellent. The accommodation quality was also very good, and everything was immaculate.

My only suggestion would be to expand the breakfast options to include more Western choices such as cold meats, cheeses, eggs, fresh breads, and pastries. However, this is a minor point and did not detract from my experience.

The location is very nice — quiet, with good restaurants nearby, and about a 15–20 minute walk to the town centre. The free shuttle service offered is also very convenient.

The pool area is perfect with varying depths for different age groups and the breakfast buffet offers something a bit different each day.

Perfect spot for Ao Nong Krabi!

Incredible place and staff. They were very attentive and took very good care of us. The location is perfect! Within walking distance or a short ride of the busier area of Ao Nong Beach, but tucked away next to the beautiful cliffs so you don’t feel close to the hustle and bustle. I’d highly recommend staying here!

It's a very nice hotel in a beautiful location with a stunning view of the cliff. The pool is big and easily accessible from the villas. However, there weren't enough loungers and parasols for all the guests. The grounds seem to be well maintained and looked after. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the service and staff with the exception of Thomas who went above and beyond to help and offer advice.
Our villa was quite big and spacious. The bed was big but the mattresses very firm and not that comfortable. The bathroom smelled of sewer and the water pressure was terrible.

We were given only 1 key to access the room and use it in the power slot which meant we couldn't leave the outside light on in the evening. We didn’t get a 2nd key until we complained that my husband tripped on the step innfrom of the villa because it's so dark.

Situated in a quiet area - a 7 min walk from the main road to Ao Nang beach.
Villa amenities include fridge, electric kettle, cable, a beach bag with mat, sun umbrella and slippers.
Clean toilets without the smell or drainage issues that pop up on most property reviews.
Good spread at Breakfast -- strawberry yogurt is a must.

The two rooms situated a the edge of the pool area do not have their own beach beds.

Drop and pickup service to Ao Nang at fixed times is convenient.

Pretty property built into the side of the cliff. Very quiet and removed from the main roads. We didn’t use the hotel shuttle but they run a regular schedule to the beach area. Amenities were nice but if we returned, we would book a poolside room. We felt like we were intruding on other guests to access the pool. Kids loved feeding the koi in the lobby and we appreciated the quality beach towels, beach bags and mats for guest use!

All the people we have come across in Thailand are friendly - however, the staff at The Scene Cliff were exceptional, the nicest people. the hotel is spotlessly clean and the pool and all facilities are great.
It is a 20 minute walk to the beach, however shuttles down and back are free at set times which is super easy, but actually the walk is very manageable with lots of distraction on the way
Would I recommend this hotel? Without hesitation.

We chose this place because it was slightly away from the hustle and bustle business of the main Ao Nang strip and it was worth it! We still had easy walkable access to everything the town has to offer or we were able to get a taxi service to take us further out if we needed. Shuttle services are available as well. Breakfast every morning was great. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and the staff goes above & beyond. Book here you will not be disappointed.

Im very disappointed in the \"bait and switch\" I received from this property. I booked a two room suite in October for 4 people. In December I modified my booking for only 3 people since our number had changed. Expedia sent me a new booking which was $300 more. I called Expedia twice before arriving at the hotel. They said it was out of their hands and the hotels discretion. When i arrived I spoke to the manager, showing the original price i was promised. She said since it was canceled and rebooked, i had to pay the highest price. I explained that i hadn't canceled just simply changed number of guests to a lower number. She wouldn't honor our original price.
Ironically i heard another couple arguing about a similar situation. What a scam. Its a shame because it's a beautiful place.

The Scene Cliff Villas overall is a nice hotel. There is a beautiful scenic mountain directly behind the property and long pools in front of the rooms. The breakfast is mediocre, but the staff is mostly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this review has a low rating because of a bad experience with the front desk. Upon check-in after being transported from our flight, we were told the cost and paid. We were asked if we wanted to pay now or later for our departing transportation. We chose to pay then and also asked about excursions. We were told it was windy, so Phi Phi Beach may be unavailable. We asked that the nighttime receptionist call and ask about the excursions while we got situated in our room. About an hour later, we left for dinner and on our way out asked about the weather condition for the excursion. She had completely forgotten and just said “oh”. Fast forward to check out, we were given our bill and told we had not paid for departure transportation. We assured them that we had paid, and when the morning receptionist contacted the night receptionist, she lied and said we had not paid. Rather than argue or demand that the front desk camera footage be shown to us, we simply paid again. The nighttime receptionist either forgot to book our transportation or she just stole our money.

This review comes from a person who sadly walks around looking for what’s wrong, and I’m super picky. I also pay good money and expect better when I do. I’m hard to please.

This property was “untouchable”. Hidden 2 blocks off the loud beaten path, built up and against to the mountains present, this hotel is a touch of Zen. Super clean, all staff speak English, you are hidden from from the trash, zoo atmosphere of Krabi. The pool is fantastic, only 24 rooms so you feel as if the whole hotel is just yours. The rooms were great, clean, plenty of space, great bed, better air conditioning, and the staff does everything for you.

Now I had a backed up toilet which I found overflowing upon our return from sight seeing, and the toilet/bathroom reeked. I’m not okay with this although they had 6 people cleaning it and 15 minutes later all the as perfect and the smell was gone. Sadly they did nothing for my bill although I had no bathroom for 24 hours, and it flooded the next day. They offered me a free breakfast, to which I said “”keep it”. It was wrong of them how they handled it.

But that shouldn’t take away from how perfect this place is as all the other hotel occupants were raving about the place as well. What happened in my room, was a “one off occurrence”! This hotel was a gem, and we came from The Boathouse in Phuket, which is 5 star. This place measured up in every way. All you hear when there are the birds, and silence.

Spectacular location looking up at the cliffs and really beautifully designed accommodation around a traditional pool. Very comfortable, modern, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast served on a lovely outdoor balcony. Staff very attentive. The airco in the room was a bit noisy but it’s possibly that we just hadn’t worked out how to keep the fan on slow speed.

We loved our stay at The Scene! From the view of the cliff and forest from the restaurant, watching monkeys frolic in the trees while eating a delicious breakfast, to the ease of taking the shuttle down to the main drag when shopping or exploring are on the docket. Service and care were next level! After I left, I realized I forgot my cell charger in the room and they managed to get it to me days later by sending a driver to meet me at the pier. They definitely went above and beyond! The villas are conveniently located away from the busyness of Ao Nang but also close enough that you have easy access. It’s not the fanciest of resorts we stayed in but honestly one of the best for friendly care and tasty food.

It's a small resort tucked away from the business of Ao Nang and it truly has a beautiful cliff view. The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. Nice swimming pool. The staff is very friendly and professional. The restaurant serves very good food, we had lunch and dinner several times and we really liked it. Everything is made fresh from scratch, since the restaurant only caters to the small amount of guests at the property. Breakfast very good too. Ride to town is possible for free at certain set times or for a small fee at others. Ride hailing apps are also available and cheap. A couple of restaurants and very good massage nearby within walking distance. Beds very comfortable, slightly on harder side. Wifi good enough. Where the property could improve is around these areas: Housekeeping - seems only basics were done every day like making the bed and changing towels but no proper cleaning of bathroom or bedroom. Quality of sanitary appliances in the bathroom: specifically water pressure in the shower and the way water flows from the sink was a bit odd. A bit of construction noise on a Sunday from adjacent properties, as well as mosquito fumigation on Sunday which we found to be an odd day of the week to conduct these works. But it didn't last long and didn't bother us too much. I would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful and quiet stay.

It's a little bit off the beaten track, but the hotel offers a frequent shuttle service, and we hired scooters anyway. Beautifully quiet and peaceful, with a fabulous central tiered swimming pool. Rooms are large and well appointed, beds comfortable, and facilities are great. The restaurant is excellent and prices are very reasonable. Ample choice for breakfast. What sets this place apart is the staff, every single one of them. Polite in the extreme, always smiling and very helpful. I cannot speak highly enough of them.

Amazing hotel, beyond all of my expectations. ALL the staff is really attentive and friendly and helpful! The resort is small but has everything you need and great views of the cliffs. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bed is a little hard but they can provide a topper if you need but it was perfect for my soar back. The restaurant has great food and extensive food options. This was truly a diamond in the rough and all 7 of us really appreciated our 5 nights stay. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat!!!

This beautiful property is located under huge limestone cliffs, away from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang, yet everything was easily accessible with a 300 baht a day motorbike rental. I had two or three issues the first night and the staff was very responsive and dealt with all of my complaints. I remember how Nana at the front desk always greeted us with a warm smile. We liked it there so much that we extended our stay from five to seven nights. The bed was reasonably comfortable, However the pillows were too big for me. They provided me with a less thick pillow, which was fine for me. Breakfast was abundant. I only used the wonderful pool with waterfalls twice but really appreciated how nice it was when I did. I hope to stay there again sometime.

The staff made this place memorable. Everyone was Ki’ kind and helpful but a few really wet out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Thomas and Rainy (probably wrong spelling) in the food service remembered specific requests and preferences and adjusted seamlessly to provide just what we wanted every morning for breakfast and more. They also provided excellent suggestions about the area and activities and shared cultural knowledge. Nana at the reception desk was also great, as was Yaya. They were really all great but these were really aware and made us feel like honored guests.

Fantastic little villa hotel.

Wow. This little hotel was outstanding.
Perfect location, quiet but only a short distance from main area of Ao Nang for beach, bars etc. spotlessly clean rooms, restaurant and pool area. Pool stunning with cliff view in the background. Excellent breakfast and food served by the restaurant was really good, we ate in the hotel far more than I envisaged we would because of this. Price same in restaurant as for room service.
The staff were amazing and what made this place so special. Always smiling. Happy to help, if you needed a ride a member of staff was always on hand to drop you places in the tuk tuk.
Would we stay again - 100%. We were so sad to leave.

I was streamly satisfied with my stay. My stay was tranquil and if you are looking for an experienced with serenity this was the place to stay. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive to all. They provide transportation as well. You have access to bikes to ride in town for free or rent the motorcycles.

The hotel is perfectly located under an amazing cliff. All rooms has access to the pool that is amazing clean and in different levels. The staff is really great. It was my wife birthday and they did everything to have a memorable day. Definitely will back.

Amazing Resort Oasis!

This hotel was 10 out of 10! I would definitely recommend it!
The staff were all amazing, the rooms very spacious, the location was quiet and away from everything, but close enough to walk, borrow a bike, or get a driver, etc. peaceful and quiet, very reasonable resort prices with no hidden fees. The staff really care about making sure you're safe, happy, taken care of... And they don't even include a service fee or resort fee like most places. If you tip them, they get it directly. It's amazing to find service of such good quality from people who don't expect anything return. By the end, many people and staff may know you by name.
Also there's a small gym, indoor children's play area, restaurant for all meals of the day, including room service, again with no extra charges, they can arrange anything you need really.
Daily house keeping included if you wish. Clean sheets and towels included. There's also beach gear you can borrow such as towels, a bag, etc. indoor flipflops provided.
Did I mention the place is beautiful looking? Not only the property, but the area around it too. It looks at the mountain side, and the sights are awe inspiring.

The only downside was the wifi cuts off the further away from the main hub. If you're just browsing, etc, it's no problem. But if you're doing live streaming or on video calls for work, then it's an issue. But an unlimited data sim card is super cheap in Thailand, so we just used that instead used the mobile phone as a hot spot.

Family trip with a 2 year old. The pool was a standout, it’s not shown well enough how good the shallow section is. It’s amazing, made the whole stay far more fun and safe for the little one to enjoy.

The breakfast was great and the standout was omelette stand. Love it.

Staff are professional and helpful. Ask any question and they just want to help. The 100 THB cost to the beach/shops are worth it and really makes a difference.

AC worked fine and you get one in the living space and bedroom.

No partying close by, which we wanted and that meant sleeping was a dream.

Very much recommended for young family’s but couples would also have a relaxing time as well.

Hotel was lovely! Nice restaurant with a wide menu open all day. The staff was so nice and helpful! The hotel was beautiful with a beautiful cliff as a backdrop. A five minute ride on the free shuttle takes you to the beach and many restaurants!

Love the location away from the busy / noisy main road. But still close enough to go explore.

The room was well maintained and provided us with a cool room away from the heat.

In the event you don’t want to venture outside for food, room service is available and their prices are very comparable when you factor in quality of food and food serving size.

The location has an amazing view and the staff is very friendly. Would recommend to everyone to give it a try!

OMG! What is not to like?! This property was beyond stunning!! Surrounded by lush beauty. Safe area to walk around for an early morning coffee and just sit with the locals. Walking distance to beach and food and shops.
The hotel itself was beautiful. Pool a lovely welcome after a day in the heat. Staff were beyond friendly and helpful and they remember you daily. Greeted with a juice upon arrival. Food was delicious. Everything was perfect and the best amenities during our trip to Thailand for sure.

Beautiful hotel in Paradise

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at The Scene. Both the rooms and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The staff was friendly. The food in the restaurant was delicious and beautifully arranged on each plate. The Breakfast buffet had many choices for all different appetites..The hotel itself is beautifully situated near the cliffs and the swimming pools are clean and inviting. There is also a free shuttle to the beach. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property! It's a bit of a walk to town in the heat, but it's doable. The hotel also has a shuttle service a few times a day. There is an amazing pizza place near the hotel. The hotel rooms are great, the pool is beautiful, and the breakfast was great. The staff were also amazing!

Our stay at the Scene Cliff was amazing! I was mesmerized by the cliff views as soon as we arrived. The staff always went above and beyond to provide the best service and they were so friendly. We were always able to arranged transportation through them to go to town which was extremely convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book with them again! I highly recommend this property.

This hotel was amazing! The view of the cliffs from the room was so fantastic and the grounds were incredibly clean. Our room was clean and had plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 children. There was a free shuttle 5 times a day that you could take to/from Anong Beach, but it honestly was walkable. The staff were beyond friendly and very helpful whenever we needed them! We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again in the future.
