When i got to Medellin i got scamed by another hotel. So this was my only option because everything was sold out for a concert. The first 2 nights they charged me 20$ the next night they wanted me to book via Expedia ( more expensive ) 681 to be exact.
Room are run down. Beds are well made. No hot water, no airconditioning, noisy the whole day. To make it more fantastic i have a phobia for cockroaches. The 3rd night during the night there was little ones in the bathroom. In the morning i told the front staff that they wete there. Nobody cared. At night when i arrived i ordered food. To my surprise when i came back there was a whole big ass roach walking all over my stuff. I screamed and walked down to get help. The front office guy was laughing at me.. came into the room and said if the roach went under the bed he couldn’t do anything! I flipped! The roach came out and he took it with his bare hands and sarcastically said “it doesn’t bite, is not poisonous or doesn’t do anything” took the thing by its antenna and walked away.. i started to cry and almost puked. I couldn’t stay there anymore. I called a taxi and left. To make the matter worse the guy said he doesn’t do any paperwork and i have to come back in the moring and talk to them.. made me write my email on a napkin! Stay AWAY FROM THIS TRASH!!!!!!!!

Clean room and excellent service. Limited options for breakfast but well made and good in taste. A bit noisy in the mornings due to the proximity to the street, but I think is pretty normal considering the location. I had a good sleep during the stay. Steamer and mini fridge available in the room.

The hotel was just good, clean, good and safe place but one thing did not like at all, i have to pay 39.000 thousand pesos about 10 dollars, city taxes, the recepcionist put in the card reader 3’900.000… about 1000 thousan dollars… a big difference.. i don’t know if it was a mistake or by purpose… just be carefully in colombia or everywhere..

The property is very good located. The staff was very friendly and take good care of us. The place was very clean and water from the shower is great. The bed matress and the pollows are super hard. They got a laundry service that they wash your clothe and charge you by the kg. I use it and my black or dark clothes is mess upo. Is whitish. The breakfast is ok, although is included.

Excellent except for the check in experience- the manager is not willing to help even she knows how to do it. For Colombian there is a tax law but it is easy to change reservation to your husband if he is foreigner and not pay that tax. Orbitz is the best changed my reservation and I could avoid the tax that is a lot considering the price of a night. At the end she lead me not sure why she didn’t it at first and avoid the bad experience.

Honestly the best place you can stay in Medellín. It’s quiet even though it’s right in el Poblado, is walking distance to everything (1 min away from el cielo and 5 mins walk from alambique). The staff here is also very helpful and are around 24/7. Safety is not an issue due to the staff being at the door at all times. The room I had was very spacious and did not feel like a regular hotel room. Cleanliness at the hotel was also great. Overrall my stay was a 10/10 and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Great location! Just a few blocks away from El Poblado and Lleras Parks, and walking distance from Provenza. This is great since you are close enough but will be able to get your sleep without hearing everyone partying on the street! And it felt pretty safe to walk the area.

El Exito supermarket and Poblado metro station are also very near by. Even SantaFe shopping mall is walkable!

Super friendly staff, always willing to help, breakfast options are fine (fried or scrambled eggs, omelette, delicious pankakes, fruit, arepa, and beverages) they even prepared a doggy bag for us to take on an early tour to Guatape!

The breakfast is very limited, not tasteful, food quality-wise its 1.5-star, that goes with Room Service. The staff do not speak English; the lady at the reception speaks English. this hotel is excellent!! 10 min walk to the poblado metro station, 2 min walk to e poblado park and another 5-8min walk to Lleras park. Excellent location close to all the restaurants and bars.

The staff was courteous and friendly, and at all time at the front desk (24hr). They even printed out boarding passes for free and were always helpful.

Beds were comfy with lots of pillows, blackout curtains and lots of storage room. Shower was super strong and warm. AC was always cool.

We had a mini fridge in the room, cable tv and safe.

Finally, the breakfast was included and delicious!! You could choose how you wanted your eggs and every day was a different kind of fruits available.

I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Very helpful staff, clean, new facilities. Comfortable bed, great rain shower. Breakfast had several choices, eggs, juice, fruit, pancakes, toast, etc and was very tasty. Room 204, Great wifi, good pc workstation in room. Things we like but didn't have: English tv station, hot water in sink (very good in shower) and a window view to the outside. It was very quiet most of the time, though sounds from the hallway were very loud on occasion, but not often, and quiet at night. But these things weren't that important and We would definitely stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised by Loyd's hotel

Incredibly clean, amazing overhead rain shower, free breakfast cooked to order, and great night of sleep. Hard to beat all of these things for such an affordable price. Also just a short walk to restaurants or the metro. Highly recommended!
