We arrived around 2:30pm and rooms were not ready until 7pm.
We were promised rooms would be ready around 3pm in the beginning when we first checked in.
1 rooms was wrong as it came with one king bed when we asked for 2 twin beds.
Both Rooms and hallway are old and oudated. The whole interior needs a facelift. Look like this hotel concentrated to update the front to mislead customer.
No vacuum during our entire stay eventhough we asked to clean our rooms twice during our many days stay.
A 4 hour wait to get our room (@ 7pm) + wrong room + old and outdated rooms really disappointed.
The worst hotel out of our 3 hotels in 3 different city in china.

When I checked in, I wrote the breakfast time on a receipt, the male staff said that he need keep the receipt, even not passing me a piece of paper. No any brief after passing me the room card. When I checked out, a female staff said they will refund me the deposit in 24 hours, I disagree and want to speak her manager, then she refund it after about 10 minutes.
During the first night, I was awoke up at about 12:30am by aloud sound (the next day I realized that it was caused by TV). It lasted about 1 hour after I called reception desk - the person said he will check and call me back - I told him: solve it, no call back at 12:30am.
During the third night about 9:30pm, I heard someone was shouting in Mandarin. I even lose the interest to call reception desk to fix the issue. It lasted about 50 minutes.
I watch/read finance news almost everyday - its my hobby, also related to my work. But this hotel's TV is connected to an external surround engine: when you tune volume to normal level, you can not hear (the sound is not clear, so you can not get what CNBC host said); I did not adjust volume so high, because I'm concerning my neighbor's feeling.
There are some other incidents too, but I don't have time to write down all, because I'm at airport now.
Don't recommend this hotel.

Exactly what i expected. Very clean, spacious. Excellent staff and fantastic location within 5 mns between 3 metro lines. 2 coffee shops lavazza and starbucks within 1 mn of the hotel. Every night i come to My apatement, it is clean and smells fantastic. I am very happy to have chosen Ascott icc of guangzhou. I recommend it to anyone that is looking for a reliable clean and well located place to stay.

Enjoyed our 5-day stay at Ascott ICC. One of the two rooms had a slight musky smell when we first entered but that pretty much went away once the AC was running. Rooms were well lit, and placement of things make sense. The Apelles products provided were of good quality, especially the B5 hand cream and skin lotion. Special thanks to the front desk manager (sorry, I forgot your name) and technician, Mr Deng, for their kind assistance on the night my family members fell sick. My sister was down with a stomach virus and Mr Deng helped to unclog the sink. He fixed what he could quickly and suggested tying up the loose ends the next day as he was mindful that my sister needed rest. On top of that, he politely declined a tip too. Thanks to the manager, our trip to the hospital in the middle of the night was made less stressful. A little infomercial - Ascott ICC does not have an in-house restaurant or cafe but there is Cafe Lavazza within the connected mall, which serves good coffee. Do try their lattes with buffalo milk!

Pros: very sleek and contemporary furnishings- unit is very modern with tons of storage-very quiet-washer/dryer in unit is great for 9 day stay-housekeeping is very accommodating and pleasant-Cons: “buffet breakfast “ is terrible- the property has no on-site restaurant, for “breakfast “ walk to the adjacent shopping mall to a pizza shop where a “breakfast “ is set up/ horrible! Paid for 9 breakfasts, ate one! They should not offer a meal at all! Large pink “claw” machine spoils reception upscale ambiance. Send reception personnel to hospitality school! They’re all like robots- not one smile or eye contact- you’re in the people business!! Tip: 15 minute walk to Po-Park, huge mall-grocery-restaurant complex at east railway station.

However, the location is great - very close to metro and malls and plenty of restaurants around.
And it is relatively cheap (almost half) as compared to other high end hotels…like Park Hyatt and Four Seasons etc.
The apartments had washers/dryer combo which was very convenient to launder your clothes.

The only thing is hard for taxi to find this place based on the address: they usually drop us off at ICC center, then we need to walk a few hundred meter to the hotel. We are traveling with a 10 months old, they have baby crib with fence around it which is perfect. There is also washer and dryer and microwave, very good for family travel

Given the recent temperature fluctuations in Guangzhou, the night I stayed had already started to warm up, not so cold. Surprisingly, the apartment didn't allow guests to manually choose between cooling or heating modes. Okay, you could argue it's central air conditioning, but seriously, which central AC system is so outdated 😂? They don't even allow guests to make the most basic function choice, resulting in a night of explosive heat under the heating mode.
UPDATE: when checking out around noon today, I found that the air conditioner had automatically switched to cooling mode. Wow, it's truly advanced, adjusting according to the Guangzhou temperature. Impressive!\"

②CheckOut後、24時間経過してもDepositの返金が無かったの為、中国語が出来ない私に変わり別の者に確認してもらったら、直ぐに返金されたが…。
