The hotel was nice & the pool was lovely.....but the age showed. It is in a great location for everything you need & the staff are lovely. We got bottled water every morning which was great, though they should have put it in the fridge haha The location was perfect for all travelers

I had a room on the second floor facing towards the main road outside. The sliding doors /windows were broken so wouldn't close properly. Road noise, people talking in the entry area and local tuk-tuk drivers made a significant noise. Would only stay here again if I had a rear facing room. The breakfast buffet, bar, swimming pool and gym were all excellent. Quite limited tourist information from hotel staff but they were as helpful as they could be.

We loved this old style colonial hotel. Great staff, a lovely retreat from the heat and humidity of rainy season Siem Reap. Very convenient walkable to the downtown market. Super helpful staff. 3$ cocktails during happy hour! We loved the place and would recommend it.

Nice hotel in great location with amazing staff

The hotel staff is amazing and treated us very well . We were able to check in early and stay in the pool area after check out to wait for our travel …the rooms are spacious and clean . The hotel is in a great location with plenty of great food options within 5-10 min walking . The gym is alright if you want to get a quick workout in .

This is my second visit and found everything about the hotel was again perfect,, the service and smiles was brilliant. We was lucky enough to be there for Xmas Eve and New Year’s Eve celebrations , the Hotel far exceeded our expectations, the ambience food atmosphere was amazingl. The property does live up to its name. It’s beautiful and peaceful. Staff is professional Nd very friendly. They go out of their way to accommodate you. There’s a girl playing this instrument, I thought it was a CD. but it really is a live person. The only thing was the internet was not available in the room. That’s because the quality of the building. It is very well constructed. No dry wall here. The plaster work is impeccable, there for, the walls are too thick for the signal. But you can get signal on the balcony.
Too, we did not have problems with mosquitos.
Our stay was very pleasant.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Angkor Wat. Our room was large for three adults sharing. We had a street view which was extremely quiet, compared to most destinations. Breakfast was really good choice of food for cultures. Lunch was also good by the pool. Easy to get a Tut Tut from to visit th temples. We had the same driver for the day to do Sunrise and sunset. He took as to buy our tickets the afternoon we arrive to save queuing the next morning then dropped us down Pub Street.
The hotel reception were great with other questions, gave a map of the area so we would get lost.
The pool area was lovely.
Would stay here again.

Love the pool!

After temple hopping amongst the crowd and the heat, a pool is just what you want at the end of the afternoon. And this hotel has a nice one! We got a connecting room on the fifth floor, amazing view again of the pool. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast was good with a large variety! YUM! Thanks for having us!

Room was big but my mattress in room 357 was like sleeping on a brick! My friends mattress was like sleeping on a cloud, must still have some old mattresses in some rooms. Our shower was high pressure and had hot water but my friends room never had hot water the whole time. Buffet breakfast has a good selection, just don't arrive after 9am as they don't replace things that run out. amazing pool, if you go in the morning its quiet with no one around. Overall very night hotel

Staff made me upset about the hotel policy regarding to transport back to airport. Trying to explain and take sometime to let us know that we have to have a letter confirm to arrange for transport and try to let us show that letter. After tried to find that letter for awhile , he ask for room number and found that letter in hotel data. Why did he try to find at the first place?

Great home base for Angkor Wat!

We spent two nights here while exploring Angkor Wat and Siem Reap. Great location - an easy 15 Minute Walk to the Old Market and Pub Street. It was easy to pick up Tuk Tuks at the hotel and the staff were quite k owledgeable and helpful with our sight-seeing questions. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was quite firm (borderline hard) but after hours of exploring the temples, we didn’t notice! They have a lovely pool and breakfast room. I would stay here again!

Nice Hotel with Friendly Attitude!

A very nice hotel, close to downtown and the Angkor National Museum. The staff is friendly and helpful. Mr. Thong Sophat helped me with tours and other arrangements, which was appreciated. The breakfast buffet could be better with more choices, although they had plenty of fruits. The restaurant food is not that good - they do not know how to make a good Papaya Salad or Pad Thai - the ones I had in Battambang were just fine like in Thailand or in the US. This need improving. However Khmer Noodles (flat noodles with seafood) menu selection was excellent, and Smoked Salmon Salad was also surprisingly good. I stayed on the non-smoking 5th floor in a spacious room with a nice balcony and a the southern view of Phnom Krom (Hill Krom) on the shore of Tonle Sap Lake. All in all a very comfortable, clean, affordable, and friendly hotel. Would stay in it again and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you Angkor Paradise Hotel for your hospitality and your typically Khmer/Cambodian friendly attitude and respect of your guests.

If you'd like to stay in buzzing place like old town, this one a bit far.

The hotel is nice but a bit old. The staffs are well mannered and very polite but the building & room seems not to be in top shape. For example, we can't open the door to balcony because the lock was broken, and the air condition is old & loud.

nice place to use as a base for seeing Ankgor Wat

This is not the fanciest hotel in the city, but it is right up there. For the price and the service it is worth it. I found the staff had just the right tone of being concerned for our needs while at the same time not being too in your face. They were instrumental in getting us good seats at the Phare circus, which was a very reasonable price. Our Tuk-tuk drivers were great.

The hotel staff is incredibly friendly, but their English might be lacking. After arriving around 9pm only, I would have liked the reception team to give me an indication of where I can get dinner if I didn't have it etc....(my flight didn't serve a drop of water, not even to purchase) eventually I walked to the bar as the restaurants seemed to be cleaned and asked if they serve food at 9pm - I chose this hotel among others that they have a few restaurant options which would be convenient for my late arrival. They said to me only room service, however when I read the hotel details in my room afterwards, it mentioned the bar lounge served food until 12 midnight. I would have much preferred to sit on the lovely deck rather than in my room to eat. The staff was very accommodating to give me an extra hour to check out for more convenience.

Pleasant hotel with big pool

Staff really welcoming and friendly throughout the hotel. Nice big pool to relax beside, a small fitness room with some cardio equipment and weights. Sauna in the changing rooms. Breakfast was buffet style with egg station for omlettes etc, good mix of western and asian choices. Breakfast room was large so never felt crowded while i was there. I tried the pool side restaurant a couple of times and food was ok and not expensive for a hotel this side. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the pool.

Most of the staff was nice.
Our best moment there was talking with staff at the hotel bar.
Not only they were friendly and nice but also drinks they made for us were all delicious!

Only negative point was wifi: too weak to use.

We were glad to stay at the hotel and we will be back again if we would ever back to the area.

I have traveled all over the world.....

And stayed in some of the finest 5 star hotels in Major cities. I have never been treated so well, by such a welcoming, courteous and overwhelming friendly, wiling to help with anything, STAFF. Every single person at any level, from housekeepers to restaurant staff, did EVERYTHING to make my stay there incredible. I hated leaving the hotel to see the ancient temples land monuments, I was so comfortable there.
I wish other HIGH END hotels could model themselves after this hotel. Even though I saw and visited every temple within 3 hours drive, I wish there was something that I missed just to have an excuse to return to this fabulous hotel. Every person on the staff made you feel like a really special friend. Its a ONE-OF-A-KIND hotel.
Their breakfast buffet, which is included is the FINEST in the world. AND, they change the menu daily so you don't get bored.

The hotel need maintenance. The lights in the rooms are awful (too poor and not well connected with switches). Furniture are not well kept and not working well. Cupboard doors were awful and hard to push (sliding). Tables drawer found open position and cannot close. I had to put paper (gratis) to keep in upright. Corridor lights are same and too poor (looks too dark) and hardly got any AC during day time. Smelly too. Pool water looks like dark (not clean).

Basically it's a good hotel, but the air conditioner in room might not cold enough with such hot days! The pool is clean and nice and the breakfast is amazingly good! We didn't use the free pick-up from airport(we thought they offered either pick-up or to-airport) the staff there are friendly and nice! The price is good for a 4.5 star hotel!

Great location about 15 min from the airport and a 10 min tuk-tuk ride to Pub Street and the markets for $1. The hotel was clean but rather outdated, especially the bathrooms. This hotel looks nice from the outside. The breakfast food and service is great. The hotel inside looks a bit old. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. It is a bit noisy as our room is next to the party next door. We use Tuk Tuk to travel around and the TukTuks are available outside the hotel. Hotel staffs are helpful and friendly. We enjoyed and appreciated this hotel.

I stayed at two different hotels in Siem Reap. Angkor Paradise offered good value for the money. Here are the pluses:
+ The pool area is really nice and comfortable! Highly recommended.
+ The room was spacious.
+ Breakfast was OK.
+ It was easy to get to city center using tuktuk, or even walking (if you can take the heat)
+ Staff was friendly and tried to be very helpful

Minuses:
- There were some hiccups with the wifi.
- A few small insects in the room and bathroom, though I suppose these are unavoidable in the tropic.
- Handling more complicated things with the front-desk was difficult. I suspect that Cambodians have difficulty especially with the English tenses, and distinguising between past, present and future seems challenging: \"I am\", \"I am being\" \"I will be\", \"I will have been\", \"I was\", \"I was being\", \"I have been\" and \"I had been\" all have quite different meaning.

On the whole we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the air con in both our rooms really struggled, a fan would have been appreciated.
The breakfast and other meals were quite good.
The staff with the exception of one person were very helpful and nice.
There is a temple across the way and the chanting or calling to prayer started at 6am and went on for a long time.
Was only on the weekend and Monday.
Both Varinda (Ms.) was a huge help to us when a tour problem, thank you again.

We had a great stay! They have everything that you need. The room was very comfortable with great beds, great air conditioning, great bathroom and a reasonable wi-fi connection. The thing that really put it over the top for me was that they had a phenomenal breakfast and a good restaurant. A couple of the days, we just didn't feel like venturing out for dinner after a tiring day exploring Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, so we just had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was more than satisfying.

My drawback might be that the location is a little ways away from Pub Street and the night life that many enjoy in Siem Reap, but there are always tuk-tuks ready to take you, so it's not really that big of a deal.

Great staff and hotel.

Big & clean with great staff.
friend left a bag under a table late 1 nite and the bar staff rang my room so i went down & the female attendant was running to me with the bag & smile, dont see that anywhere else !

Angkor Paradise

Made the reservation online the day before check-in. The receptionist was having a little trouble locating my reservation. Then when they did, our reserved rooms we all occupied and the staff upgraded us to a larger room on the top floor at no additional cost. Our air conditioner was leaking water after the first night and was fixed. Overall, it was an ok place to stay for the price and location. Love the balcony view to the swimming pool. We completely utilized the gym, steam room, pool, and sauna!!!

Accessible hotel to the city and tours.

Hotel is relaxing especially the pool area , just lots of mosquitos because of plants around, breakfast buffet is good in first to three days but if you staying more than a week it's getting boring as it's all the same food serve every morning, not much meat to choose except only for egg and sausages & bacon which is way too hard to chew. The staff are always polite except for the lady who cook the omelette egg everyday who doesn't smile and very grumpy😄 but overall experience is quiet and relaxing.
