The staff were welcoming, kind, and professional. The only feedback we have is that the road is off the main path, and may need to help install some lights to help with visibility at night, and the location to be visible for GRAB drivers for pick up / drop off. Would recommend to friends and family! Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Very thankful for the excellent service of the staff, they are attentive and caring, giving us a free bottle of wine. The breakfast was good. However, this is not a 5 star resort. It is outdated and the facilities are dirty, rusty and faulty. The shower was leaking, bath tub tap was not turning properly and the water turns cold during a bath. The pool had green algae and the wooden door was chipped off. The lights were bright white.They also changed name a few times and the place is quite secluded and you have to enter a narrow dirt road to get there.

Really fantastic, green hotel and flastic free Hotel concept,location only 10min by Tuk Tuk to city centre, with a very impressive large pool and excellent spa. Our room was huge, immaculate and very luxurious. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend it, great chilled place to stay when you've just arrived after a long haul flight. We highly recommended to our friends.

Luxury peaceful retreat

We chose this hotel to relax after a busy tour and it was perfect. As soon as we arrived the staff could not do enough to help. They were all fantastic. The rooms were beautifully furnished a touch of care and luxury everywhere. This hotel is a hidden gem with a great pool. Facilities and superb food. The hotel will help with excursions or activities that you wish to try and don't forget to try the spa the treatments are excellent and great value. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Perfect family vacation

We simply loved our stay at Nita by Vo. Our kids loved the staff, the pool and the food! Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We had no troubles getting into town and anywhere else we wished to visit. The rooms are very spacious and again the kids loved the overall atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.

Quiet hotel with spacious rooms

Had a lovely stay at the hotel, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Pool and surrounding area lovely.
I would highly recommend this hotel based on the above but also due to how attentive and friendly staff were, and the fact they don’t have many rooms so has quite a boutique feel. Nice small touches such as refreshing drinks when returning to hotel.
The hotel is a bit out of the city centre but they provide free shuttle transport to and from centre in evening plus airport transfer. Other times we got a tuk tuk for about $3. Other guests walked into the centre but I think this is a fairly long walk (maybe 45 mins) and it was quite hot!
In particular I would like to say that I had a problem with my eye whilst in Siem Reap, the hotel staff picked me up in their car and took me to a local ophthalmologist immediately and waited with me until I was seen before taking me back to hotel. They were very helpful and took great care of me which was hugely appreciated as I had blurred vision and was quite scary having a health problem somewhere so far from home!

Great staff and nice little resort

It is a small resort with only around 25 rooms on site. However, the staff did an excellent job while we were there. It is about a 5-8 min ride to the city via tuk tuk for 3 USD one way. The staff arranged a tuk tuk for us every time when we went out. There is nothing around the hotel so you must go to the city for food or eat at the hotel. The hotel offers free shuttle between 5-10pm. There was not enough hot enough to use the nice bathtub in the room. The hotel said they are aware of this issue and it has been complained many times by other guests. They are working on getting a bigger water tank. Other than this, I wished the breakfast menu would be different everyday. We ate the same thing every morning as there were only three selections: Asian, American and English. It wasn't a buffet.

Great hotel & staff

Only a short ride from Pub Street, this hotel is an oasis with excellent facilities and the most caring staff I have ever encountered. Rooms are spacious and super comfortable, pool is amazing!
Should you ever need anything, hotel staff will go out of their way with a warm smile to make sure your needs are met and exceeded.

Nice Hotel in a quiet area

the hotel is located roughly 5min tuktuk ride out of the town. this doesn't seem to be an issue as the hotel staff are very helpful in getting a transport sorted and often have 2-3 tuktuks on stanby.
The room was fine, quiet and had a nice large bathtub.
Didn't have time to use the pool and only visited the restaurant once coming back late.
This hotel i would probably recommend to business travelers or couples.

Beautiful Hotel with Outstanding service

I loved my stay at Elegant Angkor. The staff were very friendly and the service was amazing. My dad is on wheelchair and to get to the rooms there is two small steps up (which was not really a hassle for us). However, the staff got people to make a ramp for us so that i was easier to get into the room. This gesture was really touching. The hotel is not very near the city but they provide free tuk-tuk one way to the city and it is about 10 mins away. Absolutely loved the serenity of this hotel. Definitely recommend it. Double thumbs up!

Great Rooms and Reception staff.

A lovely pool area. Reception staff were very attentive. The free pick up and airport transfer service was very good. We used the hotel tuk tuk drivers for tours and this worked well. The free transfer to your specified town location was welcomed as there was nothing much to walk to locally. The tuk tuk driver would pick you up later and this worked well. Breakfast choice was varied and enjoyable in a nicely furnished restaurant. The takeaway breakfast was great when visiting Angkor at sunrise. The room bath and shower made you want to languish. There was enough hot bath water for the large bath. Staff were very prompt to fix a problem with the safe. Netflix service was good. The price charged for evening food was marked up a lot such that it made you eat in town. I would expect to pay a bit of a premium, but this was a little to high. Happy hour cocktails were good value.

Welcoming atmosphere about a 10 to 15 minute Tuk Tuk ride from Siem Reap. Located away from the town, it may be considered an oasis for some or too remote for others. Hotel does provide a ride into town whenever you would like as a part of room booking. Poolside was the only gathering point other than the small full service restaurant. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable with outside patio area.

Nice & New Resort, and Excellent Service

The resort is new and room is spacious. Suitable for those who plan to chill out inside the resort. Their service was impeccable. The only drawback is the location (15mins tuktuk ride away - prepare a mask as it can be dusty). At night, when we travelled back from the city centre after dinner, there was no street light on the road, and to reach the resort, we had to go through a few minutes of muddy road. It felt scary for us during that dark-15min ride (though it seems generally safe in Siem Reap). We told the resort our concerns and requested for a hotel car pick-up, which they gladly arranged for us at a small fee of USD5. To our surprise, the receptionist Ms Reaksmey even came with the car driver just to ensure the driver picks us up at the right location ! The service staff there are very accommodating. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one, Ms Reaksmey & team !

Would Stay Here Again

We had a lovely stay at the hotel and will consider returning should we visit Siem Reap again.

LOCATION
We chose this hotel because we wanted some place quiet but near the main thoroughfare. The hotel provides free tuk-tuk service to town; it's just $3 back to the hotel and takes 10 minutes. As the hotel is new, not all tuk-tuk drivers knew the way so we had them call the front desk for directions.

ROOM
We like that the room is spacious and the decor, simple. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping the place clean. Although a couple of times during our 5 day 4 night stay, they forgot to replace things they removed, like towels and amenity kits. Nothing a call or a walk to the front desk can't solve.

There is a huge tub in the bathroom that can accommodate two. However, we weren't able to use it at all during our stay because there was never enough hot water to fill it. In fact, our showers were often lukewarm in the evenings. Perhaps the hotel needs bigger water tanks.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
There is one restaurant in the hotel where we had our breakfast daily. The staff is hospitable and accommodating to our dietary allergies and preferences. The breakfast spread was ample and decent. There is also a bar by the pool where we had drinks a couple of times. The F&B prices are like those in the US.

TIPS
Face masks will come in handy when traveling via tuk-tuks on the many dirt roads. Mosquito sprays/patches will help fend off most mossies.

The hotel is a work in progress. I was impressed with the beautiful room and thoughtful service, and yet the staff need to work on their English in order to avoid misunderstandings (and deliver the correct order at the restaurant). Shout out to Dani at the spa for a fantastic massage! I have major concerns about the bodies of water -- they do not have any mosquito fish controlling the populations, and the water is brown and stagnant. Also, I liked the tuk tuk service right from the door: free to downtown, very expensive anywhere else. They have very inflated prices for both car and tuk tuk travel. Free car service to the airport and they were good about meeting me there unpin arrival. My room had a \"private garden\" that was open to the shower (with no curtains -- the neighboring \"private garden\" could view into the shower). Also, the wooden shuttered doors on the front of my room wouldn't close entirely and I never felt like I had total privacy after dark.

Quiet and peaceful but a bit out of the way. Not within walking distance to Siem Reap. Very friendly staff and small elegant hotel. Suite overlooking swimming pool. Relaxing and spacious suite. Due to low occupancy, there was no buffet for breakfast but very generous when ordering ala carte. You can order combinations without restrictions.of either or.

We had lots of issues during our stay. First, the room initially provided to us had a door to the private pool which had been improperly installed resulting in lots of bugs and mosquitos coming into the room. Second, the next room did not have locks installed in the bathroom door. Third, we came back from our day trip and the room had not been cleaned. We had to call twice before some one came to clean the room. The hotel is located away about 10 mins ride from the city center so its very quiet but remote. The road leading the hotel is not paved for the last 600-700 meters and not in an area to just venture out for walks. The staff though was very friendly and hospitable.

Overall a very nice property with fantastic service.
The good: Spacious room. Had deluxe king. Good breakfast. Powerful shower, great hot water, open floor plan and comfy bed. Nice wood floor and bed, nice tile and stone in bathroom area. Outdoor garden is cool idea but not sure how practical it is. Miniature Angkor Wat in common area is cool. Airport pickup with sign was nice, They will pack you a breakfast box for 5am Angkor Wat sunrise trip. Free (One way) tuk tuk on standby

The not so good: Location is bit remote in a rural area near downtown. Combined with poor signage and had a tuk tuk driver get lost several times in one trip. Also had one driver decline taking me because he couldnt figure out where it was. (I had a map from hotel too) Roads to resort not paved which is not awful but they seem susceptible to flooding.

Wonderful spacious hotel

The hotel was excellent and a great value. There is nothing around the hotel though so it's great if you want quiet surrounding and are willing to take tuk tuk to town. The roads surrounding are unpaved with lots of potholes but the hotel is not dusty and we felt v. comfortable like in an oasis. The downtown around Pub Street was bustling with tourists so we didn't mind resting at the hotel and came out during the day and night for shopping or sightseeing. The food at the hotel was excellent but more expensive than in town. Malis restaurant was superb in town and cost us less than at the hotel for dinner so highly recommended.

Beautiful room and hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff. 10 mins tuktuk ride to town which is free once a day. Great location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to make the journey easy.

Only down side is we booked the room for the massive bathtub. Unfortunately, the hot water canister in the rooms are not big enough to last to fill the entire tub. (Which takes half an hour or so because it's so big). Hence we ended up with semi cold bath tub soaks.

That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Beautiful new hotel just outside Siem Reap

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Elegant Angkor. It's a new hotel (I think it was built this year), so there's some kinks that still need to be worked out, but overall the staff and the facilities were top notch and really made our stay great.

Pros:
*Amazing pool, i'm not sure if it's a saltwater pool or they're just really careful with chemicals, but in addition to being beautiful you could easily open your eyes underwater w/o irritation.
*Being 5 minutes outside Siem Reap was something we were nervous about, but ended up being a real positive. The hotel does a great job of always having Tuk Tuk's on hand for a free ride into town which is about 5 minutes, and a ride back from any of the infinite Tuk Tuk's in town was $2-3 USD. Siem Reap has traffic and dust, so being just outside in a little bit of countryside was a great escape.
* Staff was very friendly and helpful in setting up tours. Most of the staff spoke good enough English.
* Our room (executive suite) was huge, and the little back patio was a nice touch. AC worked well.
* The included free ride to and from the Airport is a big benefit -- the hotel and town are 20 min drive from airport.

Cons:
*The Spa was still under construction when we went. They offer a little concession on this (they'll order a masseuse to your room and have a discount from their normal rates) but we ended up just going into town which had a ton of options instead.

The resort itself was beautiful and had everything you could want. I was upgraded on arrival and the food was lovely, although slightly expensive. The only issue was that you were quite far from siem reap so if you wanted to go out there you needed a tuktuk. Other than that it was beautiful and very well organised

We were met at the airport by staff, and driven to the resort. Check in was quick, fast, and efficient. The room was wonderful, and service around the resort was excellent. The breakfast buffet was second to none, and as always, every need was met. We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend...and we highly recommend the property to others. Whether you come to just relax around the pool, or use it as a base while exploring Angkor Wat, you'll find the staff friendly, and want to stay longer!

Perhaps when the hotel is finally finished it may be elegant and peaceful - but not at the moment (Nov 2016). Breakfast was plentiful and good, and the one dinner we had was also very good. Staff still learning but very eager and willing to help, and resolved any issues we had fairly promptly.

Lovely retreat for independent travelers

Absolutely lovely rooms and very courteous and eager staff who are still learning the ropes of the hospitality business. The complex is stunning with a dream pool in the middle. If your looking for retreat this is a lovely choice. If you are expecting resort quality care the Elegant Angkor is still working out the kinks of a new business and the staff while eager and extremely likeable are not always up to the task. They are not well versed in the tour options available and are not connected to services outside the hotel in such a way that you are assured of a good price and a good experience. For me that was my greatest disappointment.
Breakfasts are made to order and while well executed the menu lacked inspiration and flavor. Prices for lunch and dinner were high compared to the quality and price in town.
My room had issues with hot water. Never enough for a 10 minute shower much less the monstrous tub. The morning of my last day I had no running water at all. Really counted on a shower before my flight. As to location the hotel is on the edge of town off a dirt road in the country. Not ideal for walking into town or to restaurants and shops given the conditions of the roads and the traffic. But as others have said tuk tuk drivers are easy to come by and the ride is pleasant enough. For me it was nice to be in a quiet space away from town but if you want access to the sights you are dependent on tuk tuk drivers for every trip.

Nice new resort - would visit again

Nice property, only a few months old so still adding amenities and working out staff training. Great value with the introduction offer. The resort wants to position itself as a five star property and prices room and spa services at US prices, which is greatly inflated by local standards. It is a 5 minute taxi ride from the center of town where restaurants are, but as a result it is also very quiet (except for the rooster at sunrise:)

We stayed in Siem Reap for 4 days. Although the hotel is not in the city center (which we were originally wary of) it ended up being ideal. A tuktuk to and from town is about $3 USD and very fast. It was nice to be away from it in a clean quiet and private environment and to be able to get into town at a moment's notice. We were continuously impressed with the impeccable service, quality of the hotel and how quiet everything was. What a great choice for a stay in Siem Reap!

Beautiful rooms, pool, friendly staff... perfect!

A relatively new hotel I decided to stay due to the very competitive rate. I must say I have zero regret doing so. This is a top class property with very spacious and clean rooms.

Complimentary airport shuttle round trip is extremely helpful and the staff upon greeting and arrival were exceptional. The hotel manager was on hand to greet and farewell me also.

Rooms themselves are new/ modern/ plenty of hot water. spacious... one of best rooms I've stayed in ever.

Breakfast was generous and the restaurant meals prices are very reasonable.

Easy arrangement of driver to the temples.

If you are looking for a place to go back to after a long day of trekking the temples to just relax in serenity. I highly recommend this resort.

Amazing resort-styled hotel!

A little far from town (not many tuktuk riders know where it is because it is new) and the road leading to the hotel is abit secluded, otherwise everything was beyond expectation!!!

Excellent service, staffs are willing to go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. The room is handsomely designed and furnished. I'm not a big fan of staying in the same hotel twice when I travel, but I would definitely make this one an exception the next time I'm at Siem Reap!

I can say the Anataya Resort was the best choice for me and my wife. Stuff always wear a smile and keep hospitality split. There are no shops around there and Tuku Tuku must be needed to go to the Old Market, but it is always calm and always filled with the sound of nature. In my case, I was able to relax at the pool side very comfortably the day after taking a tour or cycling. The restaurant offers good Khmer cuisine, so Kuy teav is definitely worth a try. If you want to enjoy not only the activities like visiting Ankor monuments but also the healing time simultaneously, I can strongly recommend the Anataya Resort for you.
