The hotel is located in the heart of Siem Reap town within a few minutes' walk of the main square. It is 3 km to the Angkor Wat Temple complex and Siem Reap Airport lies just 15 km away. Renovated in 2009, this family-friendly establishment is a luxurious budget hotel run by a Cambodian owner and offers guests a good location in the city centre.
It comprises a total of 55 rooms and features beautifully designed comfortable, spacious and very clean accommodation. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and a currency exchange facility.

I like this hotel. It’s old school SE Asia. The breakfast buffet is always full of great options to load up on before heading out to the Angkor sites. The staff are very friendly, and if you feel like just getting out of your room but not leaving the hotel, the lobby is really comfortable and the pool is nice.

It is convenient to go out to night market, pub street and old market and they only takes 10 mins. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and near the center of town. The Mekong Anchor Palace Hotel was a nice, relatively inexpensive hotel with a swimming pool, restaurant and easy accessibility to many activities that Siem Reap has to offer. The hotel staff were very responsive to requests and actively strived to make my stay enjoyable. I originally booked for two nights and ended up staying for five. I am highly satisfied with my stay and will plan to stay at the Mekong when I return to Siem Reap on my next trip.

Great location but otherwise a miss
The location is great, rooms are spacious and clean. Wifi is available but spotty. We requested airport pickup, first by the form on the website (never got a response) and then by phone. No one came to get us. We told staff when we arrived and they seemed to not care at all. Staff often seemed confused or like it was their first day there. I tried to order a cocktail and asked what was in one of them and was just told 'I don't know.' There's a 'tour desk' but it was rarely staffed, and no staff seemed willing or able to actually give recommendations on what to do. I overheard other guests ask for recommendations on which company to take to visit Tonle Sap and the staff member simply said, 'Some companies are good, others not. It's hard to tell.' We asked to get taken to the airport since our pickup never showed up, and staff first told us we needed to extend our stay because our dates were wrong (which was not the case), then argued with us over whether we had actually contacted the hotel to arrange for pickup. We showed them the email receipt and the phone record, and they still seemed reluctant. In the end they did arrange a tuktuk for us.

Nice hotel, clean, some issues with bathroom but minor. Pool water stings the eyes, unpleasant but bearable. Location is good, 20 min walk from bus station $5 tuk tuk to airport, restaurants and mini mart close. FYI have to request \"free one way airport transfer\" during booking, can't ask when you get to hotel for transfer on departure day... I was disappointed by this. Wifi was weak in room but good in lobby.

The room was ok close to shops and restaurants, I one major fault with it and I don’t know if it was hotels fault or Expedia. The booking said one way airport transfer, when we inquired about this they said it was only from the airport not to the airport, we had travelled by coach but was flying out, this should be made clear at time of booking as we had to arrange private transport

Good location. Airport pick-up was no hassle. The tours offered by the hotel made our trip at Siem Reap safe, comfortable and enjoyable. Our friendly driver, Mr. Bhunthy suggested good sites where to take lunch during our day tours and offered ice cold water after every temple tour we had. My daughter and I appreciated it very much as every temple we visited required a lot of walking and most often than not, without shade. On our last day, the hotel allowed us to store our luggage without charge and permitted us to shower/freshen up after our day's tour as our flight is still 9pm. Lovely relaxing stay, with good pool to cool off along with nice cocktails from pool bar. I didn't get the pool view room as booked but front facing room was quieter due to neighbouring building work so didn't bother requesting a room change as it was such good value.
Breakfast was fair for westerners with limited choices but lovely freshly made omelette and nice banana loaf. Juice could be better as its squash not fruit juice. Good location for markets, pub street and Angkor Wat, just beware of rough pavements and rats when walking main street.

We were initially booked in a hotel outside the city. Due to an unpleasant experience we checked out and found a great deal for this hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were so good. Unfortunately they were not able to give us the room we booked and paid for on Expedia (instead of twin beds we got double bed instead). The bathroom could have done with an upgrade; shower curtain was black and mouldy, the shower tap was rusty and covered with limescale and sink tap was a moving. However it was 10 times better than being stuck at the other hotel so we didn't complain.
It was very central, 10 mins walk to the pub street and night market. Lots if eateries and massage places.
Also they allowed us to make use of the pool area after we checked out.
All in all we had a good time. Definitely recommend it

When we arrived the shower and balcony door were broken. The shower was promptly fixed, but the balcony door never was. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was peaceful. The pool was gorgeous although had a high concentration of chlorine. Also they sprayed pesticides around the pool in the morning during breakfast which didn't make for the best morning swim experience. Breakfast was excellent we looked forward to it each morning. Fresh made to order omelettes and soup were served along with a buffet of fresh fruit, salads, rice, noodles, sandwiches and more. Housekeeping is great they folded all my clothes and my laundry came out well. Be sure to book your free airport ride in advance as they will not honor it after your stay also use tuk tuks off the property for savings. The front desk staff barely speaks English that can be a bit frustrating. Overall a good stay mostly because of breakfast.

Room is very spacious with attached balcony. Bathroom is big too but there are a few problems - Bath is broken and designed too high, making it very hard to get in to have shower. Toilet cannot flush properly and easily getting blocked. During our stay of 3 nights, it was blocked twice by itself. Staff is friendly though. They quickly came and unblocked the loo. Breakfast is ok. It's not buffet. You have to choose one from the fixed 6 options everyday. Hotel has a nice pool - very pleasant after a hot day. However the pool is not lit up at night making it a bit hard to swim at night. Location wise it's a bit far from the night market. But any tutuk can take you there for USD$1. There are many restaurants and eateries around.

Convenient Location but under construction
I really liked the location of the hotel but the hotel itself needs a refresh. Our room was clean but the walls needed a paint. They had already filled in the holes in the walls so there were patches of white on the tan paint so it looked bad. They are building a new addition to the hotel so there was a lot of construction noise that began early in the morning. Our room was very clean but everything needed an update. The chairs on the patio were mismatched and bad condition.

overall, this hotel is located at a center point of city area and very close to everything. but the condition of facilities is barely acceptable. the towels look like been used for decades, some doors are hard to close.

I would say that it was an overall fair experience. Nothing in particular stood out as great but also didn't have any issues that were particularly negative. The location was very convenient since it was near the shops and restaurants, and they also served breakfast.

Bad service, room not ready on check in got put in a substandard room the first night and the manager would not compensate for it said he upgraded us but gave us the room that we had already booked the next day. Staff to busy watching TV in the morning insted of waiting the tables. We had stayed here four months earler and it was great, now the standard has dropped to a poor level and would not stay here again.

The room is very clean and the bathroom has almost brand new rain shower head and toilet. The wifi on the ground floor is real hi speed. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I re-visit Siem Reap.

I was super impressed with Angkor Palace, it was a great place to spend my holiday. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The pool was brilliant, breakfast buffet was lovely and other meals were really good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and would go out of their way to give you advice. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in a good position, down a lane way - so quieter - but within walking distance to Pub Street and markets. Our room had a couple of dead cockroaches in it on arrival, otherwise seemed clean. We had two queen beds. The rooms was quite dark with dark coloured tiles on the floor and dark timber walls but comfortable enough. The door and lock to the room were flimsy. No complaints with the pool. Clean and cool especially after a day at the temples. Staff were friendly and breakfast adequate.

The staff were very friendly, but unfortunately this did not make up for the fact that the hotel is not well taken care of and that the staff are not very competent. The pool area seems to be the only area that is well maintained. Our sheets were dirty in our bed, I asked for new sheets, they said that they could only replace them in an hour, but it was already late at night and I wanted to go to bed now. Our fridge in our room was not working and we needed it to store some food. They came to fix it, but it seemed very comlicated to them. The walls in the room were very dirty. Overall, it is not a horrible place, but in order for me to ever think of staying there again there would have to be big improvements made, especially in the cleanliness.

Good location, walking distance to Old Market, night markets and Pub St district but the hotel had issues with electricity supply on 3rd and 4th floors both days I stayed there. Not too much of a hassle when it was during the day because the pool was a lovely place to cool off after the temples but no lights or air conditioning at night was inconvenient. The building works on the top floor started pretty early too. Staff friendly and keen to please.

This is the most amazing little jewel in the poor country of Cambodia: great central location but quietly tucked away from the major Siem Reap street in a garden setting with a fabulous pool--which you really dream about after a steamy day at the temples. Three computers for guests' use set between the garden restaurant and the pool, a lovely breakfast included in the low price, private balcony, cable TV, king bed, full bath, refrigerator, 2 free bottles of water a day, a fabulous one-hour Khmer massage included as a thank-you for booking, tuk-tuks in front of the entrance to take you anywhere anytime, a friendly, hard-working, English-speaking staff making your days comfortable--I have travelled to many places and stayed in many hotels--rarely have I felt so totally cared-for and happy. I stayed for 17 nights. Thank-you, Mekong Angkor Palce Hotel!

I would recommend staying at this hotel. The location is great, and the staff is wonderful. The only downfall was that the rooms were not quite as nice as I expected (not all rooms have a private balcony and all the amentities listed) but they are currently under construction and I have no doubt that the hotel will be perfect when finished. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

For the price this location was good, not too far from downtown, just a short walk. The noise during the day was quiet very quickly by evening, and i had no trouble sleeping due to outside noise. I was pleased overall.

Hotel is OK, nothing special at all. My biggest shock was that there is no kettle in room for making tea/coffee. Never stayed anywhere in the world and not had a kettle. Also in the bathroom there were NO towels!!!!!! Had to request towels and they are pretty awful. Apart from that it is ok for a short stay and as long as you're not spending a lot of time there. Breakfast was a choice of 4 things, 3 of which are egg. Not much good for someone that doesn't eat egg!!! Pool is good though.

The air conditioning did not work very well at all, the free WiFi did not work either and the room did not contain an in-room-safe as described. Much better places available for a little more just down the road.

Friendly staff upon arrival. Free WiFi and use of computer situated in the restaurant is very handy especially for web checking. Hotel Info should clearly state that free shuttle ONLY applies from airport pick up as some guests assumed it is both ways (return to airport as well) which caused some dissatisfaction. Room I had do not have hair dryer but I always travel with my portable hair dryer. Hotel is walking distance to the main town and close to KFC. There is money changer across the road if need to exchange any currency to USD as they use USD as main currency and for change use Riel (around 4000 Riel for 1 USD).

The hotel was almost full when we arrived so we were sent to a back room which didn't even seem to be a hotel room but part of an additional building where people lived. There was even a birthday party there one day! Only two computers for common use; but ups, one didn't work. No shampoo available in room and the staff didn't even help us with a local call the last day....

Hotel is about a 10 min walk to the Pub Street and the rest of the city, don't need to spend additional cash to get a tuk tuk to travel to the city area. Hotel is pretty standard with a tiny swimming pool, but it was great enough for me. At its price, its definitely a great bargain and i would highly recommend this hotel to others.

シェリムアップはとても暑くエアコンなしでは寝られない。

先ずホテルへ空港への迎えをメールのやり取りでお願いしていたのに迎えは来ておらずドライバーに連絡してから1時間も空港で待ったが迎えは来なかった。
自力でホテルへ向かいチェックインして迎えの事を抗議するとホテルに電話してくれと言われメールの内容を見せてドライバーへ連絡しろと書いてあると説明したらようやく謝罪した。
部屋へ入りテレビを点けたらテレビも映らずフロントへ行き確認してもらうと直せない明日か明後日に直るかも？翌日にフロントで同じくテレビが映らないと言ったら全部屋だと言われた。状況の説明は無く結局滞在中の4日間映らなかった。
2日目の夜に3度の停電でエアコンも使えず窓を開けて寝ると蚊に刺される。その時にレセプションも無くホテルのスタッフもフロントには居らず謝罪も説明もない。翌朝フロントで傘を借りた時に笑いながら暑かった部屋だなぁ！って言う始末。
チェックアウト時に部屋の確認をするから3分待ってと言われたがイヤホンを部屋に忘れたが本当にチェックしたのか疑問？

パブストリートの近くですが一筋通りに入っているため静かで感じのいいホテルです。スタッフも感じよく、気持ちよく過ごせました。ただ、エアコンから水がボトボト落ちておりました。下に荷物を置かなければ問題ないですし、私は特に気になりませんでした。次回も利用したいです。

Great experience we had at this hotel !!!
We arrived at 7am, it was before check in, they tried to give us the room but there was not any available, so the staff was great and let us take shower giving us clean towels and keeping our bags while we went to Angkor all day long.
Also, breakfast was excellent !!!

Frukosten var okej men inte mycket mer. Lätt att ta sig runt i Siem Riep med tuk-tuk. Hotellet bjöd också på resa från flygplatsen om man är ute med flyginformation inom 2 dygn innan ankomst så när det gäller sista-minuten-bokningar ingår inte detta. Från hotellet till flygplatsen får man betala själv.
Internet på de övre våningarna var inte helt stabilt - bättre i lobbyn.

最終日のチェックアウト時に、チェックアウトは朝したにもかかわらず、一日荷物を預かってくれ、プール用のシャワーも使っていいと言っていただきました。フライトが夜だったので荷物と観光後のシャワーをどうしようかと思っていたので助かりました。それもこちらが頼む前に言い出して下さいました。
ただ部屋のシャワーの水はけが悪く、シャワーを浴びるとトイレの方まで水浸しになって朝まで水が引かないことと、お湯の温度が少し低めで温度調整のできないエアコンのきいた部屋で過ごしていると夜は少し寒かったです。浴槽は石造りのためお湯の温度が低いこともあって少し寒いと思いました。備品は電気ケトルなど綺麗でしたが一枚、バスタオルにそこで発生したような幼虫がいました。他は綺麗で快適だったので残念です。
