Stayed at this spot in early December 2023 for 5 days. This is NOT \"City Center\". It is about 600-700 meters from being central, down a dark road in a not-so-great neighborhood. I walked back in the evenings and did not feel safe. A lot of abandoned buildings and not well lit.

The front desk staff... The two young men working there were very friendly and helpful. Great folks. There was a lady who worked a couple evenings at the front desk and was mean.

For three of the five days, I did not have hot water. I did get the front desk (when they had a helpful person there) call maintenance. A young man came up and did something to fix it. He was very friendly and helpful. However, it was back to cold the next morning and the mean lady at the front desk was no help.

Breakfast was great - no concerns there.

Room was clean, warm, and taken care of. No worries there.

Overall - would not recommend. It was a bit of a scary walk, the front desk was not always friendly, and there were significant issues with the hot water.

After a 3 night stay and I cannot say I have had a satisfying experience at this hotel. The morning after the 1st night I noticed some bug bites on me. I harmlessly assumed they were from mosquitoes or something. After the 2nd night the entire right side of my body was covered. This is side I sleep on and can only be from bed bugs. After this 2nd night I notified the front reception and they put us in a different room.
After checking out after the 3rd night front desk asked us if we used anything from the minibar, which we replied with no. They said after this that it's compliments from them but we didn't use it and already checked out?
Later that day we went back to collect our luggage and asked front reception to reimburse the tiny cost of medicine which was 60RON (20AUD or 13Euros). They told us that it is not possible for there to be bed bugs and they can't do anything to help...
This is after putting us in a different room and being apologetic.

To put it friendly, the hotel has an excellent location (walking distance to the old town) & very good breakfast, however, the interior is a bit old. The lift is a fragile vehicle, the hotel room interior looks as it if has been there for many years, the bed cover linen was too small that couldn’t fit two people. We've reserved one of their most expensive suites which, obviously, doesn't get to be occupied too often so they don't bother to verify if everything is working properly. The air conditioning wasn't working, just the fan, which is not so pleasant when the temperature outside is over 40 degrees Celsius. The tub in the bathroom was clogged which made it almost impossible to have a decent shower and, not to forget, the room was facing the street Calea Mosilor which is a busy street, with street cars running there all night.
Considering the average price level in Bucharest the cost for this kind of room is ridiculous. Obviously the management feels the proximity to the nearby old town justifies all that. If I have the chance, next time I will look for a diferent place.

Hotel was RIGHT next to the tram which made a horrible noise till 11pm then started again at 5am !! Couldnt get any sleep at all. We will never stay here as it is a very small NOISEY hotel. Much better places to stay for the $ than here. Hotel should warn guest about the horribly noisey tram noise in thier descriptio. Dissapointing

Loved This Place!

We felt completely safe walking around during the day being tourists. ATM in the lobby gives LEI or EUR. Receptionist spoke good english. They have a bag check if u can't check in yet (but they tried!) and a small bathroom to change clothes. Very close to a lot of sites to walk to. Great air conditioning in the room! Yummy and filling breakfast.

The underground parkibg was convenient for parking. Both stsff memebers were accomidating to our needs. The accomodations were wonderful overall. The AC takes time to cool the room but that is expected. The Old Town of Bucharest was nearby with pleanty of restaurant choices.

A very clean hotel.Breakfast starts at 7am,but was still being assembled at 7.20.When you get up early for a day trip this is annoying.Party going on too late in the next room.,Rang reception at 3am and they stopped the noise,but that should have been done without my involvement.Hotel is located up a run down back street,not a nice walk back from the main streets.Everything else was fine,the staff are friendly and attentive.

Cheap hotel, good location, bad neighbourhood

The hotel is in a run-down part of the old town, about half a kilometre from the nicer parts of the old town which has restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. There aren't any restaurants or shops in the immediate vicinity. The hotel itself is adequate. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The room I stayed in (a single room) was a good size and comfortable, but basic. The cleaner's black hair was noticeable on the bathroom floor every day, but she mostly did a good job. Breakfast, both the quality and the range, was poor. I was there for 3 nights and it was the same bread and ham every day. The wifi doesn't work in the rooms, only the reception, which is annoying. Overall this is a slightly above average hotel, certainly not what I was expecting from a 4 star hotel. A bit disappointing.

5 star service at 3 star price. Hotel withinn walking distance to tourist attractions. Plenty of good and cheap restaurants in neighborhood, being near the university. Staff has very pleasant work attitude. Will highly recommend to anyone visiting Bucharest.

On approaching the hotel the area is almost derelict. But the hotel is more than adequate for a short break. With very cheap local taxis anyone is accessible.
The rooms were clean fresh and reasonably furnished. the breakfast was also reasonably good (we never used the restaurant)

Hotel Armonia is located in a central location in Bucharest, close to all main visiting attractions in the city.

We enjoyed the exceptional quality of service we received from the entire staff: management, reception, restaurant and service personnel. They were very receptive to all our needs and helped us with everything we asked. Thank you! We appreciate very much all you did for us to have a very pleasant stay in your hotel.

The hotel has a very good restaurant. We truly enjoyed very tasteful traditional Romanian meals.
The breakfast buffet, which is included in the price, is exceptional, with over 35 different items in the menu.

We will definitely stay again in this place on our next visit to Bucharest and recommend it to everyone who is looking for outstanding service, good meals, central location and affordable cost.

A brilliant stay for a budget hotel very clean and a very modern bathroom, amazing customer service and a palatable select from their breakfast menu.
I wasn’t very happy with the fact that all my guest had to provide their identity documentations in order for them to access hotel services. I booked the hotel and was footing all the bills. If your guest would like to stay incognito then this hotel is definitely not for you. The hotel is not far away from the old town; the place famous for its fabulous nightlife and carnival atmosphere.
The neighbourhood is a big let-down; pretty much reminiscent of a ghostly screen in a horror movie. Very scary when returning from your night out.

Central location , breakfast not that great , how about some fresh juice.Of course billing issues Expedia says zero due at check in but hotel insisted they charge. Noisy tram from street neighbors have chickens to wake you up, also lots of neighborhood dogs barking . It's an ok choice over all staff was friendly .

We loved our stay here, the room was big and spacious, the bathroom had everything you could need, the TV had lots of English channels, the staff were amazing - they were really attentive and helpful. A nice touch was that you can opt to have your included breakfast brought to your room in the morning. The hotel is right in the centre and most things are walkable. The area looks a bit dodgy but we were assured it was safe and there wasn't a point when we felt unsafe (even coming home from bars and clubs in the small hours). Overall we definitely recommend this hotel to anybody and we will stay here again the next time we are in town.

Siamo rimasti davvero senza parole. L’hotel risulta un 4 stelle, ma sinceramente non saprei dove le abbiano trovate: forse nel parcheggio, insieme ai materassi buttati e dal colore… indescrivibile.
Pulizia: semplicemente inesistente. Due volte su tre non hanno nemmeno pulito la camera e, al nostro arrivo, il pavimento era pieno di capelli. Abbiamo chiesto di sistemare e il receptionist notturno (più concentrato su TikTok che sui clienti) ci ha letteralmente passato l’aspirapolvere dicendo: “Se volete usarlo, altrimenti domani puliscono.”
Personale: scortese e totalmente impreparato. Nessuno parla inglese — il receptionist notturno risponde a gesti e male, e la signora della colazione ti urla il numero della stanza in rumeno se non capisci subito. Nessuna divisa, nessuna professionalità: più che un hotel sembra un esperimento sociale.
Colazione: imbarazzante. Nemmeno un cornetto. Solo due pezzi di torta che sparivano subito e poi il deserto.
Struttura: vecchia e trascurata. Corridoi con moquette lurida, scatole di apparecchiature di rete buttate ovunque, ascensore che va a scatti, e una puzza persistente in camera. Le lenzuola? Non pervenute: solo un coprimaterasso trasparente che definire “minimalista” è un complimento.
Posizione: pessima, sembra che abbiano lanciato una bomba nei dintorni.
Non capisco sinceramente come molti italiani possano dire di trovarsi bene: se questo è un 4 stelle, allora un 2 stelle dovrebbe valerne almeno sei per confronto.

Das Hotel ist an sich nichts besonderes, absolute Standardzimmer, wenig Charme, aber sauber und die Nähe zum Lipscani-Viertel war praktisch (und der Grund für unsere Wahl). Die unmittelbar Umgebung des Hotels selbst ist eher in der Kategorie \"morbider Charme\" einzuordnen, aber sowas mögen wir.
Für diejenigen, denen das wichtig ist: WLAN ist gut.

Lage gut, Hotel gehobener Durchschnitt.

Lage zu Lipscani sehr gut, das Viertel selbst ist abgerockt, hat aber Charme.
Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind eigentlich nix besonderes, insb für den Preis, aber die Lage ist top.
Parken muss man übrigens nicht in der engen Garage, 20 weiter in der Seitenstrasse gibt's genug Parkplätze.

Où sont les 4 étoiles Roumaines!!??

Quartier abandonné assez sale, mais pas très loin du vieux centre (10-15mn à pied). Où sont les 4 étoiles !? Comment avoir 8/10 sur hotel.com !? Nous sommes très loin des standards et notes habituelles pour la Roumanie. Le ménage laisse à désirer, et l'isolation phonique est inexistante: vous vous ferez réveiller par le tramway, mais surtout vous vivez avec les voisins !! Le parking n'est pas pratique, l'ascenseur bloqué par les femmes de ménage, des affaires à traîner, manque de finition ... Points positifs: petit déj compris et personnel jeune et sympathique.

Είχαμε διαμονή 7 μέρες στο ξενοδοχείο.για 4 μέρες δεν έγινε αλλαγή σε σεντόνια και μαξιλαροθήκες.εγινε παράπονο στην ρεσεψιόν και μας τα αλλάξανε αλλά είχαν τρύπες οπότε φαίνεται και στην φώτο.εντομο πεθαμένο στο παράθυρο επί 7 μέρες που δεν μαζεύτηκε ποτέ.κσλο σχετικά πρωινό και πολύ εξυπηρετικη ρεσεψιόν.ζεστο δωμάτιο αλλά χωρίς ηχομόνωση.ακουγες μέχρι και το φερμουάρ της βαλίτσας από διπλανό δωμάτιο.800 m από παλιά πόλη.

Hotels offers free parking, but parking lot was full! you have to park somewhere on the street, if you're lucky close to hotel, if not...
No toilet paper inside the room, there is just bidet, I open the litter bin in the room and i kept the lid in my hand.
Breakfast so so, the best part of the breakfast are spreads, but there is just toast bread, scrambled eggs without taste, one type of the juice, no tea spoons, just some plastic sticks, probably they don't want to wash them

Excellent hôtel avec un très bon déjeuner buffet toujours bien rempli de 7h à 10 heures . Hotel très bien situé de 10 à 15 minutes à pied de la Piata Universita ou Piata Unirii ; tout se visite à pied . La gentille jeune fille au comptoir qui parle roumain français et anglais . Il y a un parking souterrain . Cèst très bien.

Acceptabel hotel op loopafstand centrum

Vriendelijk personeel, een ruime kamer en een ontbijt met voldoende aanbod kenmerken dit hotel. Mijn verblijf in augustus 2018 was dan ook best goed. Het centrum is lopend gemakkelijk te bereiken vanuit het hotel. De bedden waren wel wat hard en de schoonmaak zou nog iets beter kunnen, ook de airco had steeds veel tijd nodig om op gang te komen en de kamers waren tamelijk gehorig. Kom je met de auto, houd er dan rekening mee dat het inrijden van de parkeergarage en het daadwerkelijk parkeren al daar veel stuurmanskunsten vragen. De inrit is stijl en ontzettend krap en ook in de garage houdt de ruimte niet over. Het was voor ons zelfs een belemmering om de auto nog even te pakken. We hebben in dit hotel al met al een goed verblijf gehad, maar verbetering is zeker nog mogelijk.

Hotel ist OK - mehr aber nicht!

Leider gab es im Badezimmer nur ein Handtuch für 2 Personen. Die Garage ist nicht optimal. Die Gegend ist nicht sehr einladend.

Blandad upplevelse

Det blev en blandad upplevelse att bo på detta hotell. Internet fungerade katastrofalt på mitt rum. Jag fick till sist fick byta rum och våning (och du fungerade nätet smärtfritt). Min telefon på rummet fungerade inte heller och jag fick springa ned till receptionen för att kommunicera. En del av personalen var vänlig och charmig, andra inte alls. Det är egentligen ett bra hotell, men ledningen för hotellet bör ta tag i de brister som finns. Rummet var bra, frukosten medelmåttig.

Belle vacanza

Gradevole soggiorno a Bucarest. Hotel ben servito da trasporti. Passano davanti, con fermata a 5omt dall hotel, due tram e un bus!!! Magnifico! Sul prolungamento della Calea Mosilor (la via dell hotel) si trova la Calea Lipstani che attraversa il quartire dei bar e ristoranti e avvicina al CARU' CU BERE.

Comodo per recarsi nella città vecchia

Vicino alla città vecchia quindi comodo e pulito.
Le suite sono spaziose ma si affacciano direttamente sulla strada dove passano i tram e di fronte c'è una chiesa ortodossa con campane, quindi sono un po' rumorose.
Non abbiamo potuto provare le stanze standard che potrebbero non avere questo problema.

Kleines, aber feines Hotel,fussläufig zur Altstadt

Das Atriumhotel Bucharest CityCenter/Armonia liegt in einer Gegend, in der sich frischsanierte und Abrissobjekte abwechseln. Die Schlaglöcher in den Strassen haben westdeutsches Niveau. Das Empfangs- und Restaurantpersonal ist Englischsprachig und sehr hilfsbereit, das Zimmerpersonal sehr aufmerksam und gründlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet für Jeden etwas, Rührei,Spiegelei,Wurst, Käse,Salat,Müsli,Marmelade,Obst,Joghurt etc. In nur 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt und einem Shoppingcenter. Der Parlamentspalast ist in 20 Minuten erreicht. Museen und Universitäten ebenso.!Eine Strassenbahn fährt auch vor dem Haus. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Badezimmer,mit Wanne und Bidet, größer als Zuhause. Es gibt allerdings auch 3 Minuspunkte. Die Bewegungsmelder, die die Flurbeleuchtung steuern, liegen zu weit auseinander. Man tappt erstmal einige Meter im Dunkeln. Außerdem hatte mein Zimmer eine schlecht schallisolierte Verbindungstür zum Nebenzimmer, was insbesondere dann nervt, wenn die Zimmernachbarin mitten in der Nacht 3 Stunden mit ihrer Firmenzentrale telefoniert und 3. im Nachbarhaus/Hof treffen sich Nachts mehrere Katzen zum Raufen und Kreischen. OK, das ist halt Natur. Aber bei meinem nächsten Trip nach Bukarest werde ich dort wieder einchecken !

Kleines, nettes Hotel im Zentrum der Stadt. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind Fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt absolut ausreichend. Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbüffet ist nicht sehr groß aber auch vollkommen in Ordnung für diesen Preis.
