We saw the great reviews on-line and decided to book this hotel on the extra night post our group tour. We agree with the great reviews from other guests. The hotel is located off the busy street and is centrally located. It’s a boutique hotel and very reasonably priced.

This is a great hotel in a good location at a good price, comfortable clean rooms. Good shower with toiletries provided including hair conditioner. Hairdryer in bathroom works well. Coffee machine with espresso pods. A few free mini bar items on arrival (1 beer, Pepsi, sparking water and still water) but these are not replaced. Great breakfast with Prosecco/mimosa. Room is a little small and not easy to navigate but the staff are lovely and make the hot drinks for you. Recommend

We cannot fault this hotel. Comfortable bed with a coffee machine. Very nice bathroom. The staff are all very friendly & helpful, especially at breakfast, which was very good & varied. There was a complimentary beer, coke, & water in the mini bar. We could easily re fill our water from the bar, or at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. This all helped to make it a very pleasant stay.

Noisy room due to the outside area and direct street access to a three lane street. Balcony way smaller than shown on the pictures. Whatever balcony it is, this was not one we saw on our side of the wall. No chair or table would ever fit. No check in until exactly 2pm. They made us wait 45 min instead of already giving us the room.

The room was very clean and tidy, and decorated in a modern style. We were on the top floor and had a nice view of the Old Town. There was a wide choice of food available at the breakfast buffet each morning to cater for all tastes and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent with only a short walk required to be in the heart of the Old Town where the choice of restaurants and cuisines on offer was amazing. We loved Bucharest and would highly recommend the Peakture Hotel to anyone considering visiting this wonderful city.

This room was great and in a great corner of the city to see museums and nightlife. BUT the breakfast was great. I was sad to check out because this was the best I’ve had in Europe so far (I mean… the bar is low) but I think there was something for everyone. The bed was very comfy and the rooms were quiet.

We loved the location of the hotel, close to the old town areas. It was easy to walk around to many of the places we wanted to see.
Breakfast was very nice with eggs, bacon, nice coffee, fresh fruit, croissants, yoghurt and cereals.
The room was clean with a fresh and modern bathroom. There were also a little refrigerator with some drinks that were included, that was nice when we arrived in a hot afternoon.
There were few down sides but we thought the beds were a bit hard and the air condition was not on fully so it was a little warm at times. But this was not a big problem as it was easy to open to the French balcony and air the room.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Peakture Bucharest. The room was small, but well-equipped. We appreciated the mini-fridge offerings and coffee were included. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the older part of town, shopping, and tours.
The only drawback was lack of food on-site after the bar closed, but this wasn't a deal-breaker in our minds. There are options not far off a d delivery.

We really enjoyed staying here for 48 hours.

Hotel is ideally located not far from the old town and just by metro and bus connections.

The team at the hotel were excellent, especially Vlad and Elena who were top for customer service.

Our room was great and you got a free bottle of water in the room plus four small bottles in the mini bar which were 2 x water, 1 x Coca Cola and one beer (free items not restocked in the mini bar, but it was still great to have this).

The buffet breakfast was perfect in terms of quality and range of things to eat.

Only small negative was that at the time we visited air con was not available (activated in April I think) so controlling the room temp was tricky.

Despite that minor issue, we highly recommend the Peakture - a great hotel, in an ideal location with excellent staff.

Worth noting that regarding getting to the Hotel we caught the 100 bus direct from the airport to just a couple of hundred metres from the hotel.

A bus trip is only about 53p and you can pay by tapping your credit card on the validator as you board. Make sure you do tap and the screen shows the card has been accepted as payment checks by ticket inspectors are frequent.

The room was spacious and big enough for 3 people, the restaurant staff were very polite and attentive, breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice! The bar staff were very rude and arrogant which put us off drinking in the bar so only had one drink. The hotel was perfectly placed within walking distance for the old town.

The hotel was clean enough just needs a bit of an update in the bathrooms and bedrooms. There was an awful sewage smell in the stairwell hall so we didn’t explore the sauna as felt it was coming from there.
Bar and hotel staff we all lovely, so welcoming and friendly - couldn’t do enough!

Stopped here for 4 nights. The hotel was really nice and clean and the staff were also great.

The location is really good. You are within walking distance from the Old Town and minutes walk away from the nearest underground station and bus stops.

Free coffee (Nespresso machine) too which isn't always a given in hotel these days!

One major issue however. My room got ridiculously hot. I went downstairs to talk about this issue and was advised the Aircon was turned off during the winter months and that I should instead open the window. The issue with this is that even with the window wide open the room would not drop below 25 degrees. Given the location of my room too, having the window open just meant a tonne of light was coming in.

Lovely hotel situated in the centre of Bucharest. Close to bus/metro and walking distance to many parts of the city centre. Staff friendly, good selection for breakfast and all very clean.
The hotel has a sauna which can be switched on by request.
Lunch/dinner available in the hotel bar area, I think overpriced compared to the restaurants in the area.
Overall I would definitely return and recommend Peakture Hotel.

What a fantastic hotel!
Firstly the room! Excellent size, very quiet, complementary mini bar (with beer mineral and sparkling water) the TV was good although it had been installed wonky! (Wall Mountinf Bracket not Square) l. Bathroom was ample size with a nice size shower with good hot water.
Breakfast was ok, had worse had better. But i did like the Nespresso Coffee so a massive bonus there. (Oh and you get it in your room to)
Location was good. No more than a 10min walk to the bus stop for the 100 Airport Bus. No more than 20mins to the heart of the old city!
I really would recommend this hotel.

The hotel front desk lady in the morning of 25-27 Dec was out of here way nice and welcoming. Gave recommendations. Answered questions and said hi to everyone. Noticed my gold status and gave me my drink coupon. The bartender was also nice and informative on drinks. Location was in a great area and close to old town and metro. Wasn’t loud like old town but a good quick walk to digest food. Would stay here again.

The Expedia description says the hotel offers \"perks like free WiFi and air conditioning,\" but the air conditioning was turned off, for the entire building. We could not turn it on and the room was roasting for the entire trip, due to facing the sun. There was nothing management could do about this, or to turn the AC back on.

The check-in process also did not feel secure. We arrived early and asked to store our luggage, and they were put in an unlocked room, without anyone manning/checking the tags of who's picking bags up. Anybody could have gone into that unlocked room (from two different sides), gotten our bags, and no one would notice.

For the price paid, and this being a 4-star hotel, this was a very disappointing stay. Would not recommend.

I booked two rooms for three of us. I confirmed with hotel about this. At check in, Iwas charged for the 3rd guest. When i showed my, concern about the extra payement, the receptionist response was a bit unprofessional (i would say with kind words).One of the rooms, the complementary bottle of water was missing and the sh ower did not have water. Reported to reception, but no apology was given, neither a small gesture for the problem. I assume rooms are checked after every departure , but now i think they did not. Despite these issues, tle toom was clean and the chsmbermaids were very kind (the only ones giving farewell with \"hoping see you soon again\"

The staff were friendly and helpful and the small and well stocked hotel bar and wine cellar was an unexpected bonus. I would definitely look at staying here again on a trip to Bucharest.

Overall, a lovely stay at this hotel.
We stayed for two nights in a “cosy” room, although we didn’t quite realise this meant having just two tiny windows, so the room felt a little dark, especially with the dim lighting. Our room was also above an area where workers seemed to gather, which made it a bit noisy at times with them calling out to each other.

The room itself was clean and fairly spacious. However, there was no kettle, and we were told to use the coffee machine instead. This wasn’t ideal for a non coffee drinker, as it was quite confusing to use, and when we did manage to figure it out, it leaked everywhere and still left a strong coffee taste.

That said, the location was excellent, just a short walk from the old town, and overall we enjoyed our stay. I would happily stay again, though next time I would probably choose a different room type.

The hotel is a small hotel, but was perfect for my needs. I didn't try the breakfast but the bar seemed nice and had an excellent stock. The highlight was the staff, particularly the colleague who was on reception when I arrived at 3 am, having had a flight delay. Unfortunately I didn't get his name, but he was exactly the right amount of happy. The one thing I would say is that the immediate area round the hotel (a couple of minutes walk) is not particularly touristy, so if you prefer to be closer to the action this may not be your hotel.

Not a great view and overlooked in room 407. The Nespresso machine is a waste of time as you walk out of the hotel and there’s a much better coffee shop on the corner. Staff were friendly with no issues.

Lack of hospitality…

The lobby was pleasant and the rooms were set up well. Unfortunately, the AC in our room ( it was a balmy 90 degrees in Bucharest) did not work and the staff was less than helpful - finally I suggested getting us a fan and that was marginally helpful. Just a general lack of hospitality in this hotel.
