Room is nice with city view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is $21 a night. Hotel is showing its age. Faucet in the kitchen moves every time you turn it on. Bathroom sink has small leak under it. Tray in microwave did not turn well, it was mismatched. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, 17th Ave.

Check was a breeze until we got to the room and I wanted to warm up some food for the kids after a long day with a long drive, but stove was not working. I called and they sent someone who spent quite some time trying to fix the stove only to tell me that they could not fix it. I called the reception again and they were saying he was going to fix it but I told them the guy said he could not. Only at that point did they suggest changing my room. I asked them what do I do next, they said to wait. I waited, meanwhile the kids were starving. I waited and then went downstairs and the guy was on the phone dealing with other issues. I would have thought that making sure I get room and settled would have been priority. It was almost 1.5 hours later that we finally got settled in a room.
Apart from this, I did not have any other issues The room was clean and everything was fine. This is not the first time I stayed in this hotel. The last time, fridge did not work and they had to swap it. I would still stay again for location. Their breakfast is also a bonus.

As soon as we checked in, there was a fire alarm. We had to leave the hotel, fire trucks surrounded the building, so we were forced to spend several hours outside. It is impossible to sleep in the hotel, the windows in the rooms are leaky all the way, the sounds of downtown do not let you sleep even on the 8th floor, you are like in the middle of the road. At 2 am we changed apartments to a two-bedroom suite, due to the smaller windows in the bedroom it was quieter. but in general the windows are leaky throughout the building. The building needs a major renovation and replacement of windows!!!

Great room. The breakfast has all the things you could want. Super clean. Polite staff. The location, though, is the absolute best. The sauna - it worked well but is in a basement. The room it opens to has a drain in the floor where septic smells come out… it is not the nicest. I see the actual sauna is old fashioned and all wood - really nice. The sauna was minor. Overall, the place is wonderful and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing stay! Breakfast options were filling and was more than enough to keep us energized until noon. Everyday freshly brewed coffee. If you can add more fruits, that would be nice :) The dinning area is clean and organized. The staff (esp the front desk) were so friendly, accommodating, knowledgable and compassionate. I could not say more about the reliable staff they have, they deserve to be paid well because they are the reason why we will keep on coming back to this hotel. The room service did a good job too. The rooms were carpeted and as a person with high sensitivity to dust, my allergic receptors stayed calm and not did not react - which means the hotel is properly cleaned everyday. Parking is convenient too. The location is situated downtown and is near a bunch restaurants. They have a mini kitchen where you can freely microwave and prepare ordered food in case you get too tired to eat dinner outside. Internet is fast. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended.

Breakfast was very good. Set menu daily. Lots of options for food (oatmeal, yogurt station with all the fixings, fruit. Etc ontop of the hot options.

Room was horrible. I paid for the executive suite with kitchenette part and it was dirty.. sheets were ripped, hair on bedding, windows were filthy it made having the curtains open feel so dungy and gross. Safety hazard is what concerned me the most. No screen in window and we were floor 14. Not enough toilet paper given or towels had to ask for more. Tv was smart tv decent size. Kitchen stuff was dirty and food on utensils.

Would like manager to respond to me to get a discount. The safety issue was not okay. I tried asking the front for manager email or contact but they wouldnt provide it. Elevators was soo small the luggage cart barely fit. My mother who is physically disabled had to wait 15 min when we first got there for an elevator to our room. The cleaning staff kept hogging it and other elevator was broken down. Kind of a crap experience. Wouldnt recommend.

They had a large higher quality complimentary breakfast that spanned from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and my kids loved it, the sweet had a kitchen although it was not very well stocked and a bit difficult to cook in but due to the complimentary breakfast we didn't have to cook that much, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff were exceptional a special mention to Gonzalo and Naufil for their helpfulness. Rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable, elevators were fast, and location is terrific.

The staff were awesome! The rooms are dated with mismatched furniture. The soap dispensers are to high in the bathroom and the door in the bathroom needs fixing. Otherwise the room was clean and the beds were great.

I was truly impressed with this lower priced hotel in downtown Calgary. I'm usually fairly picky about hotels but we were traveling with a larger group.

Check in was a breeze, the room was spacious and very clean. Decor a little worn but honestly, who cares? The important things were well done: the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and bright. It included a hearty and delicious breakfast. It's only a five minute walk from a really nice stretch of shops and restaurants. I'd return!

Stayed for three nights. The hotel and our room was spotless. Everything we needed was provided. The woman that takes care of the breakfast each day is an amazing, lovely lady that is always happy and kind. She keeps the breakfast room spotless and full. She deserves so much credit. There were teams the weekend we stayed and even though people come through like bulls in china shops she kept it all under control. Highly recommend this hotel. Great location and very friendly staff!

Great location to stay. Relatively central and for the extended business stay, very convenient to have the kitchenette in the suites. Safeway is just around the corner and the Ranchmen's Club is a 5-1minute walk up the road. Rooms are spacious and clean, could use a bit of updating but overall quite cozy.

The room is dated which is fine and visible from photos but the room was not clean. Upon first getting into the room there was hair on the bathroom floor and lots of hairs in the jetted tub. There is also a huge building demloision right beside this hotel so don’t expect to sleep in as it was extremely extremely loud. Parking is also an extra $21 which is not advertised. Wouldn’t go back.

I got a nice upgrade to my room. It was clean. The TV wasn't working, and they switched it out right away.
There was a wide breakfast selection. I stayed for two days and it had different offerings both days.
There was convenient in and out parking access.
It is in a convenient location. It was 10 minutes away from the free lrt station. Walking south, there was lots of food options as well.

Disappointed in my room. I booked double bedroom suite with several people. The hotel knew I’d be using hideabed. When we went to get ready at 2 am - no linens, pillows, blankets…!! Not the time to be calling housekeeping.
Paying 21x3 for parking is ridiculous in these days of customer satisfaction.

When we arrived we book a 3 day stay and they only had us booked for 2 days. Then we had the elevators not working and numerous problems with our cards, not letting us indoors and staff getting really rude with us about the cards, not working like it was our problem.

Also, i didn't appreciate being charged extra for parking just because i used expedia to book the room. Besides that, everything else was fine

Amazing location, right in the middle of everything. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was pretty rude and uninviting. On our second day there, our ceiling started leaking yellow-ish water and a huge water stain began spreading across the middle of our room. It was growing rapidly yet staff did not want to move us because they would be \"upgrading us too much.\" They did end up moving us but they had not concern toward our time and we ended up without a room for around 3-4 hours so we had to haul our luggage around with us.

We loved the place, it was close to everything. The hotel room that we chose came with a mini Kitchen, you can use the laundry room there. But the best thing about this is the staff and how the treated us, we will definitely go back :)

Heater fan was too loud. It kept waking me up. Had a hard time sleeping when it was on. And it was blowing right at the bed.
