The location worked for us even though it was about a 15-minute Uber ride from downtown... we appreciated not being stuck in the middle of the tourist zones at all time plus we have easier access to places such as Manly Beach and Freshwater Beach. Hotel is older and the old windows let in a bit more road noise that expected even when fully closed, but most of the staff were helpful and we enjoyed having a kitchenette as well as washer/dryer combo machine

Great location for where we needed to be visiting family, travel to the city and to the Northern Beaches with the bus stop to the city right outside the front door. The exit through the underground carpark also great for the liquor store, bus to the ferry. Room was great for a months stay, fixtures a little tired and not really enough storage for an extended stay but we managed but everything you need including a washing machine and dishwasher. Definitely recommend the upgrade to a harbour view and request a higher floor for a better view and bring binoculars. Lovely supermarket directly underneath the apartments and a great Irish bar opposite The Dubliner for a Guinness. Go to the old art deco cinema opposite to see a film or a show, it’s beautiful inside. Lots of food options nearby if eating out or take away. Extra towels available on request and incidentals supplied like washing liquid, tea and coffee and washing liquid. Bed was very comfy and soft pillows. Staff were great for any requests like more hangers, extension lead etc. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent location, bus stop is right in front of Park Regis. Food, groceries, restos, pharmacy, pretty much everything is within walking distance. However, the safe in the room was not working. We reported it right away. Stereo/radio was also not working. We stayed for 12 days, Dec. 21, 2025-Jan. 2, 2026. We had a 1 BR w/ harbor view. Room was serviced only once. We requested towels, TP, laundry soap & garbage pick-up after a week. Overall, the location is what made it perfect for us.

Construction work occuring within the building, woke me and my partner up before 8am everyday- no notification of this, we wouldn't have booked if we knew, toilet was constantly flushing by itself, safe wasn't operational, found and killed 2 cockroaches in our room and false fire alarm wasted an hour of our morning and made us late for a booking. Photos of the accommodation are deceptive, in person it is very dated. Mattress is a terrible old spring mattress that should have been replaced a decade ago.

Good location, very handy washing machine, dryer and kitchen. We booked 3 rooms and asked to be close but they said we had an upgrade which meant one room was on a different floor. The upgraded room was on the same floor as room 2 and it was missing the rollers on the shower door so you couldn't close it. Rooms were clean and tidy, just some dirty cups in one room and the doors need a good paint.

We were looking for an apartment for a 2-week stay, where we could have a decent kitchen to prepare our own food, so as not to have to eat out for a solid 2 weeks. This place was perfect for us. There was even a good supermarket right next door, and a bus stop on the doorstep (with frequent buses into city centre). The kitchen had 2 electric hobs, oven, kettle, microwave, sink, pots and pans, cutlery and crockery, and we could prepare decent home-cooked food. There was also a washing machine in the apartment, and a drying rack, as well as iron and board. Towels, toiletries, washing-up liquid, laundry detergent, tea/coffee, were all provided. The only difference between this apartment and a permanent home was its size - the apartment was the size of a hotel room (complete with the usual hotel room features/furniture, including a safe, and WiFi at no extra cost). There was an underground car park in the basement of the building, but there is an extra charge to use it (we didn't use it this time - we rented a car for a couple of days only for a short trip out of town). We were lucky enough to also have a view out of our window, where the harbour was just in view in the distance. We would definitely be happy to stay here again should we need a short-term temporary home in Sydney in future.

Our allocated studio fronted Military Rd Cremorne - very noisy for most of the night. Rooms on the harbour side of the building would be preferable. The double bed (not queen size) was small, but as this was specified in the room description I cannot complain, although these days a lot of places use 'double' and mean 'queen'.
