Great room, we had a one bedroom. Very spacious and kitchen well appointed if you wanted to self cater. Check in was a hour late but they gave us vouchers for a drink whilst we waited. Overall facilities of the hotel very average for a hotel at this level. Breakfast was beyond basic - just a choice of a main dish (eg eggs Benedict) with one side and one drink. Very disappointing to stay at such a high class hotel and not enjoy a proper buffet or more interesting choices. Took away from the overall stay.

A few things not ideal when paying 5 star prices- An option to “go green” which is simply a way for them to get out of housekeeping, if they were serious about offering to “go green” to reduce housekeeping then this should be an offer when booking and should come with a discount.
Not offering seperate soap, shampoo and conditioner but instead offering Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel from refillable containers feels like a 3 star offering not an offering from a hotel charging 5 star prices.
And only having a rain shower with no seperate hand held washing device is far from suitable for women who don’t wish to wet their hair and children who cannot reach.
Last but not least overcharging by several thousand dollars, yes a simple error but still one that should have never occured.

For the price this hotel underwhelms in every way. In room phone not working and was unable to order in-room dining at 8pm after a long day of travelling. Had to go to the reception desk and give my order in person. One item was completely forgotten. Bathroom needs updating, spa bath cracked and stained. Shower door wouldn't close properly causing water to spill outside of the shower. Twice when I stood at the reception desk to make an enquiry I was attended to very slowly despite no other guests being present the staff was scrolling on his phone. When I enquired about the possibility of paying for a late check out I was \"yeah not gonna happen\" as the hotel was fully booked. Not being able to do a late check out didn't bother me but the way I was told it wasn't possible was unprofessional and rude. Would not stay here again.

Wonderful view of the Quay and Bay Bridge. Though we only stayed for 3 nights, the suite was amble for longer stays. Loved the little balcony that overlook the area for people watching.
A little noise from the boats docking and/or leaving, but get used to it by day 3.

This property is right at the Circular Quay. You can easily walk to the boat docks out one door and out the other direction is the botanical gardens and the opera house is super close too. Beautiful views. The breakfast which was included for some travelers but not ours but it was tasty and convenient. The room was well stocked with snacks, beer, wine.

This hotel location is worth anything you are paying. Hands down. Centrally located in Circular Quay, you could not be more centrally located. Excellent staff, great concierge and fast and prompt service when anything is requested.
We upgraded for an option with a balcony harbor view and it was worth it 10X over. The kitchen is spacious and beautiful - well stocked with pans/plates, etc, but no extra spices or olive oils / small kitchen items included. We were delighted to find that our unit had a washer / dryer, with laundry detergent included. Our luggage got lost on our trip over and this access to clean our limited selection of clothes was a life-saver.
The only negative comment I can offer is that the gym was dated. It was clean, and beautifully located, but the treadmills were extremely outdated. There were only 2 treadmills, one was out of order and the other one was so aged that it didn’t have very much absorption. If you don’t care about treadmills, this isn’t a problem, but if you like to run when traveling (particularly inside, which I need to do because I often need to run when it’s dark, so as a female I want to run in a safe environment), these treadmills are though. The rest of the gym was well equipped and fine and offered some great options.
We loved this place and would stay here again. We will recommend to anyone we know traveling to Sydney.

This was our fifth stay at Pullman Grand Quay. The rooms are spacious, with living room and kitchen, and include a washer and dryer. David, at the front desk, was especially helpful and friendly. All of the staff were great. The location was near everything we wanted to see, and 100 meters from the ferries. We’ll be back!

The shower water changes from hot to cold with no prompting. The clothes dryer put out cold air only, and the washer took about two hours. Directions were minimal. However, the desk clerk took our clothes to their dryer. Robert, at the desk, was so helpful and friendly.

Excellent bar and restaurant for breakfast on site, usable gym. Staff friendly and efficient. Rarely the cheapest but book early and its not too bad.

Our only issue was the temperature in the shower was impossible to regulate which became a bit dangerous for my elderly mother as the water would suddenly run extremely hot, but honestly we saw past it due to everything else being perfect.

The hotel was lovely and the location was fabulous! I had a harbor view 1 bedroom for 4 nights. After traveling for 2 weeks I planned to do laundry but discovered the dryer in the unit was broken. They were kind enough to give me access to a dryer in a vacant room, which was nice of them. The biggest problem for the four night stay was the shower, specifically rapid and extreme changes in temperature. It would go from warm to scalding hot or ice cold without warning. It was dangerous! I mentioned it to the front desk in person and was told it was a hotel wide problem and maintenance was working on it. It never improved and when I checked out I emphasized again how treacherous it was and they just shrugged it off. Not sure I would stay there again.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff decorated our bed with rose petals for our 30th wedding anniversary! The staff also left a welcome card with treats for our Anniversary. The location is amazing. The ferry terminal is right outside the hotel. It’s an easy walk to the Rocks, the Opera House, and the Botanical Gardens are across the street. We had a balcony and it was great to watch the boats and see the harbor. The only issue was the showers. The water went from freezing to really hot intermittently. The staff was aware and trying to fix it.

Apartment is fabulous, great views, comfortable, everything you could need. Amazing big bed with comfy pillows, within easy walking distance of amenities, transport and local sightseeing. Unfortunately, did experience a cockroach on our bed the first night, which was a bit off putting. This was disposed of by a member of staff, promptly. Also a cold shower - no hot water at all, second morning, apparently due to a storm & power outage. Breakfast service was a \"bit hit & miss\" as to what was ordered and what was received! Overall, we had a lovely one week stay in this apartment. Room service was excellent, standard of cleaning by staff each day was also excellent.

I recently stayed in a 1-bedroom harbour view room, expecting a premium experience for the steep price of nearly $1,400 per night. Unfortunately, the reality did not live up to the cost or expectations.

The service was another disappointment. I requested a late check-out, which was extended by only 30 minutes—a frustratingly tight timeline for such a premium booking. Even worse, housekeeping walked into the room unannounced after just a single knock, which was both intrusive and unprofessional.
To top it off, reception called exactly five minutes after the extended check-out time to remind me to vacate the room, adding unnecessary pressure to an already rushed experience.
For the price, I expected a seamless and indulgent stay, but instead, it felt rushed, impersonal, and lacking in the finer details that justify such a high rate. I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation unless significant improvements are made in both service and the room standards.

Exceeded our expectations. Best things were balcony above circular quay for watching ferries and harbour bridge climbers. Great corner spa bath, hotel pool and hot spa. Comfortable beds including kids sofa double. Clean kitchen but could have used one small sharp knife and the onky cooking spatula was melted. Washer and drier worked. Freezer made ice but ice cream remaines strictly soft serve only. The kids were OK with that. I would stay again with family.

Everything was wonderful from the moment we arrived until our departure. We booked a room overlooking the harbour for our wedding anniversary and were surprised by the thoughtful \"Happy Anniversary\" banner, card & treats in our room. Everything was beautifully presented, extremely well appointed and the view over Circular Quay and the harbour was magical. The Pullman Quay Grand's location was ideal as there were dozens of restaurants, The Opera House and Botanic Gardens all within a few minutes walk. And last, but certainly not least, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly with ideas of places to visit, public transport etc. We can highly recommend Pullman Grand Quay to all

Incredible location, great staff, and a huge room with washer and dryer - we loved this very updated hotel! We arrived on a red-eye from SFO around 8am and were greeted by the super friendly front desk staff who stored our bags in no time at all, so we could start enjoying Sydney. You only need about 1-2 minutes to walk to the ferries, which are conveniently located next to the buses, trains and trams. It's all right there - you won't need uber at all. You need only 5 minutes to walk to the opera house, and you're at the bridge in less than 10 minutes. Lots of great restaurants by the bridge as well, in the adorable area called The Rocks. The stunning botanic gardens are right across the street from the hotel as well... it's really a great choice.

Sofa bed was made up for 3rd adult.Terrific location at Circular Quay and close to ferry, train, light rail, buses. Check in was messy with being charged twice and still waiting for the excessive 2nd charge to be back into my account.
